The camera shows Kirsty Mascara in her Unknown Room that’s in black and white.
Kirsty Mascara: Zolothack and Leon I hope that both of you are listening because every single word that I’m about to say is aimed at you. Now I know people will be wondering why I’m in black and white, it’s symbolic of the fact that despite the fact that I’ve already talked about our match both of you have continued to refuse to say anything. In case people don’t understand what I mean in this context black and white lights reminds me of those really old silent movies that were in black and white and that’s exactly how this match currently feels to me. Anyway seeing as both of you haven’t given me anything to work with, I think I should tell another story about my life instead.
The lights go out. Eventually, red lights go on and Kirsty Mascara is standing next to a wall that has “Story about my dad” written on it.
Kirsty Mascara: Every time I think of my dad I think of a man who believed that women should be housewives and the men should be treated as kings. On the day my twin brother and I were born my dad looked at us and thought he was preparing me to marry a guy who he would most likely have chosen for me and that was going to be my life. My brother however would be prepared for anything and everything. My dad wouldn’t put him under any pressure because he thought my brother would be handed the entire world just by saying he was born a man.
The words “ Story about my dad” disappear and the word “School” appears.
Kirsty Mascara: My dad was the kind of person who said “Unless it’s to help you read instructions and to teach you home economics school is a complete waste of your time Kirsty.” My brother, however, would be told to pay attention and do the best that he could to get good grades so that he can move on to whatever he wanted to do with his life. Well, guess what happened, dad? I worked harder at school than he did and people noticed it except you and my mother.
The word “School” disappears and the words “Secret about mother” appears.
Kirsty Mascara: I do know a secret about how my parents met. Normally they would ask for this to be kept private because it’s none of anyone’s business how they met but they’re not here to stop me from telling this story. It all started with my dad looking at a strange house. As he looked he saw my mother staring at him from an upstairs window. They both looked at each other and they waved at each other. My dad thought he couldn’t do anything wrong walked up to the door and rang the bell. A woman my mother’s mother answered the door and asked who he was. He replied saying he wanted to meet the woman upstairs and got told that no men were allowed to see her. My dad replied saying that he understood it, it’s a dangerous world out there so it makes a lot of sense to protect and try and control what women do but if he’s given a chance he would impress. My mother’s mother heard what he said and was curious because maybe there was someone out there who might understand her way of life. So she let my dad into their house and they talked and when she could see that my dad really did believe in protecting and controlling women my mother’s mother let them meet. That led to them getting engaged and then married and then my brother and I being born. The point of this story is nobody ever let my mother be her own person. She’s always been trapped and led to believe that it’s the life that all women should have and that’s why she never defended me.
The words “Secret about mother” disappear and the word “Compete” appears.
Kirsty Mascara: Zolothack and Leon what the two of you need to understand is after everything that I’ve been through in my life and everything that I’ve heard that my mother went through in her life I’m not here to impress men, no I’m a lesbian because I know other women wouldn’t put me through those things. I also want to say that compete I do it with the intent on being an inspiration to women everywhere. The reason why I do that is because I know that it doesn’t matter how far society goes to evolve there will always be men who think women are below them. I am not below anyone. I am someone who is here to prove themself. I’m willing to work just as hard if not harder than everybody else on this roster and when I defeat both of you it’ll open the door for me to have bigger matches. I know that I’ve already said that I’m here to become a champion, but the fact of the matter is when I win a championship it’ll add a whole new meaning to my message. As for the two of you when I defeat you both of you will fall lower down the card to the point that nobody remembers your names.
The word “Compete” disappears and the word “Truth” appears.
Kirsty Mascara: It’s a very hard truth for both of you to live with it but it’s your future reality. A reality that will be created by me and will leave you two saying that I was the one who left you with nothing but darkness while I live in the light. It’s a feeling that will remind both of you that I am the light and the dark, I am your happiness and your sadness and I am both your pain and your good health.
Kirsty smiles. The camera fades.
