*We open up to tonight's Doncaster venue of Keepmoat Stadium with the official Ascendancy event banner being displayed across the tron screen above, pyros going off all over the place and a generic upbeat show theme playing loudly across the PA System. We then zoom over to ringside and shortly thereafter the Ascendancy theme ends as the action is about to begin with the first in-ring activity of the night....*

*Breathe by Disturbed begins to play, and Leon Chant stands on the top of the stage, saying nothing at all. He looks around, and then to the ring, before slowly striding down to the ring

You will release your life
Forgetting what's forsaken the reason why

You will believe the lie
Judging from what you've taken

You are alone again

Chant starts to stride down the ramp, flexing his muscles, various members of the crowd are trying to make his break his game face, but its useless.

From the heart of darkness

Spirit raging on

He stops at the bottom, and just stares at the camera, before hopping up onto the apron, and through the ring ropes.

You will release your life
Joining with the goddamned world
Of the dead and the lonely

He looks around, and flexes against some ropes, before awaiting the bell.*

Romero: This looks to be a challenge for The Spiked One tonight.
Shining: I agree. The Insurance Policy of Rob Arnold does things by brute force!

*The lights dim out as a bass beat can be heard, then strobe lights begin to flash wildly to a DJ Box as the open to Adema's "Immortal" can be heard before a huge pyro explodes!

"LET'S PLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!!"

The crowd erupt with cheers and applause as Spike runs out onto the stage. He crosses his arms in front of him in an "X" before he leans backwards and extends his arms, soaking in the adoration and love from the crowd.

"We're face to face.
Loyalty is what I need to see from you.
Your insecure...I can see the fear that breeds in your heart!"

Spike breaks into a sprint down the ramp and slides into the ring, climbing up onto the turnbuckle. He does the "X" pose once more and then extends his arms again.

"Where will you run?
Where will you hide?
I see the blood drip from your eyes.
Who will survive.
Let's get in on, and
We'll FIGHT!!"

Spike drops back down off the turnbuckle as the fans go wild and the lights return to normal, before the music begins to fade.*

Singles Match
Spike Kane vs Leon Chant

---

"DING, DING, DING!"

At the sound of the bell, the man who gives up four inches and a large amount of weight goes for the first strike, but Leon is able to block the move, even though it seemed more like Spike bounced off of the solid mass that is Leon Chant. Spike gets up, seeming a bit shocked as Leon grabs Spike by the throat and tosses him with a huge choke toss. Spike lands with a thud as Leon goes for pin. He hooks the leg but Spike kicks out quickly. Spike gets up to one knee as he tries to find a way to battle back. But Chant clubs the back and neck of Spike and that sends Spike to the mat again. Leon then places his foot into the small of the back and steps over Spike!

Romero: Thats not necessary! He is just bullying Spike!
Shining: This is what Spike wanted! A challenge.

Leon seems to be aiming a elbow for the small of Spikes back. Leon drops for it but Spike moves out of the way! Before Leon can realize whats going on, Spike is back with a dropkick to the face. This sends the big man to his back and Spike tries to hook in his Burning Hell ankle lock but Leon nails a powerful kick to the shoulder of Spike knocking him backwards. Leon gets to his feet and goes toward Spike, but Spike explodes with a dropkick to the knee. This takes out the leg of the big man, dropping him to one knee. Spike hits a climb up enziguri and goes for the pin. 1...2..KICKOUT!

Romero: Chant is showing his strength now.

Spike tries to keep the man down but Chant powers up and lifts Spike off his feet and charges him into the turnbuckle! Spike looks like he lost the air in his lungs with the blow, as Leon continues with the shoulder shots to the abdomen of Spike Kane. Feeling like he has done enough damage he crosses his throat, signaling for the end. Spike stumbles out of the turnbuckle and uses the ropes to hold himself up. Leon runs for the opposite rope.

Shining: Ive seen this before!
Romero: If he hits that Train Collision its going to be all over!

That was exactly what Leon was going for. He ran the ropes and was heading full steam ahead toward Spike Kane, but in some last ditch effort to battle back Spike hits an amazing front dropkick to the head of Leon! If you consider the speed he was going that had to knock the insurance policy for a loop! Spike climbs the top turnbuckle and hits his Leap of Faith (swanton bomb) Finisher! 1.2..3!!!!!

Winner via Pinfall: Spike Kane!

As Spike is celebrating he notices Steve Awesome standing at the top of the ramp. His arrogant smirk aimed right for the God of Xtreme as he arrogantly claps for Spikes victory. Spike glares, but is surprised, as Rob Arnold suddenly appears, laying out Steve Awesome with a chair! The crowd aren't sure what to make of it. Rob grins, and makes his way to the ring. Spike at this moment hasn't noticed the appearance of The True innovator, and as he looks up, Rob Arnold has planted a chair right in the face of Spike Kane. Rob smirks, before leaving the ring.

Romero: What on earth?
Shining: Rob Arnold's making some kind of statement right here!

*Fade to commercial.*

*The opening guitar riff of "I disappear" by Metallica, squeals over the PA as the lights switch from red and black as the guitar squeals. A cloud of smoke begins to fill the entrance ramp as the crowd begin to boo whats coming out.

Once we get into the actual riff of the song, Zero Tolerance makes his appearance known. He stands at the top of the ramp dressed in a pair of black leather pants, and black finger-less gloves. He has a black mask with the Zero Tolerance symbol in red on the front.

As the first verse plays over the P.A system, Zero makes his way down the ramp at a quick pace still keeping his fists clenched. He keeps his eyes locked on the ring, or perhaps the opponent standing in it. He comes up to the ring, reaches up and pulls himself up and over the top rope with no problem.

Now standing in the middle of the ring, John reaches up and pulls the mask off of Zero's head. Zero then leans over each rope and screams into the crowd, looking very intense! Zero goes to scream once more, but is cut off. The lights dim to a black and blue aura, cue the plucking of a guitar, and Serj Tankian's voice humming over the PA system.*

SO I FELT LIKE THE BIGGEST ASS...HOLE!

*Rob Arnold runs out onto the stage to the sound of "Kill Rock 'N' Roll" By System Of A Down. He immediately recognizes the negative heat from the crowd and feeds from it, laughing at them. Smirking as per usual he moves onto the ramp. He pauses half way down and smiles. He then grabs the towel on his head and throws it to the floor, causing three white columns to fly up behind him.

Rob walks on down towards the ring and then jogs the final few steps, and placing a knee on the apron. He pauses for another smirk, and then climbs in via the second rope and into the ring.

Rob walks to a turnbuckle and climbs it, before raising his arms in the air with a smirk. He climbs down, and removes the coat, before moving into the corner of the ring. Rob waits in his corner, as John McMichaels steps out of the ring, before getting off the ring apron.*

Singles Match
Rob Arnold vs. Zero Tolerance

---

The bell sounds, and Rob Arnold slowly moves to the center of the ring. He is in more of a shoot wrestling position, while Zero is standing straight up. Rob is sizing Zero up, before Zero swings with a right hand, but Rob ducks under. Rob gets him in a waist lock, but Zero hits him hard with an elbow to the head. Rob stumbles backwards, and Zero grabs him by the hair, before pulling him down to the mat. Zero walks up to Rob, places his foot on the side of his head, and pushes down. While applying the pressure on Rob's head, Zero lets out a scream. The referee finally gets him off, and Zero goes to the ropes, before going for doing a leg drop, but Rob moves out of the way.

Romero: This could be the opening Rob needs!

While Zero is sitting on the mat, Rob quickly gets to his feet, before kicking Zero right in the spine. While Zero is rolling on the mat, Rob gets on top of him, and goes for a rear naked choke. With his size advantage, Zero is easily able to get to his feet. He quickly backs into the turnbuckle, loosening Arnold's grip. Zero then grabs Rob by the hair, before delivering a hard snapmare by the hair to Rob Arnold. On the outside, we can hear John McMichaels screaming for Zero to finish him off. All of a sudden a beverage cup hits John McMichaels in the head. John turns around to see who it is, and he is pissed off.

Shining: Its Chaz Murphy!
Romero: What the hell is he doing at ringside?!

John walks up to the face of Chaz, and points a finger at him. By now, Zero is standing at the ropes, staring Chaz down as well. John goes to slap Chaz, but Chaz catches his hand, before grabbing John's head and slamming it into the barricade. John falls to the floor, and Chaz is standing. Zero is stepping through the ropes to come after Chaz, but Rob catches him with a rollup.

1... 2...Kickout!

Both men quickly get to their feet. Zero knocks Rob down with a hard clotheslines. Zero runs off the ropes as Rob gets to his feet. Zero gets his boot up for the Face Mangler! But Arnold is able to side step him, and nail Zero with the Ciderfection! Rob Arnold goes for the cover, and gets the three count!

Winner via Pinfall: Rob Arnold!

Rob's music plays, as he celebrates his victory. He even climbs the turnbuckle and raises his arms for the fans. Zero Tolerance is to his feet though! Rob doesn't know, and he hops off the turnbuckle. He turns around, and Zero nails him with the Face Mangler! This isn't over though. Zero grabs Rob by his hair, and lifts him to his feet. Zero sets him up for the Zero Bomb, and goes to point at Chaz at ringside, but Chaz isn't there. Zero looks around, and Chaz is standing at the top of the stage, and he has John McMichaels on his shoulders! Once Zero lets Rob go, Chaz drops John on the stage. Zero makes his way up the ramp to John, as Chaz walks backstage and we momentarily cut to commercial.

::.The lights inside the arena flicker slightly, when without warning, we're hit with the violent clatter of percussion from Sepultra's "Refuse/Resist". As the booming instrumental thrashes over the speakers, the fans jump to their feet in anticipation.  There is a slight decrease in the amount of light coming from the ceiling, when suddenly pyros blast from both corners of the entrance stage, huge bursts of smoke hanging in suspension as the sparks shoot out and then die. Simultaneously, none other than M.G.K. makes his way out, as the fans burst into boos. He puts a hand over his mouth and gasps, as if shocked by the boos from the crowd. He then places a hand behind his back, as if trying to act like a gentlemen, and takes a mocking bow for the fans. He then stands up straight, and kisses a small golden ring on a black neckless around his neck, before arrogantly raising his left hand up in the air, and walking down the ramp grinning. Clad in black boots, red kickpads, black and red trunks, and black tape around his fists and wrists, he flings his long black hair back behind his shoulders and smirks, as he grabs onto the middle rope, and climbs onto the ring apron. MGK takes a moment to cast an arrogant glare in the direction of his critics in the audience, before entering the ring. He stomps his way to the center of the ring, where he drops down to one knee, as a spotlight falls down on him. He allows the light to soak into his skin, almost as if he is energized by it. He looks down at the ring mat, then closes his eyes, before springing up to his feet, and pounding his chest characteristically. The spotlight vanishes, and in its place the rest of the lights in the arena return to normal, and the music fades. While this happens, MGK leans in his corner, and taunts some of the fans who are booing him, as he waits for the match to begin. ::

*"Lightning Doesn't Strike Twice" is said over the PA as Thunderstruck by AC/DC starts to blare over the PA as Chase Storm appears under the Titantron. He walk down to the ring being booed by the crowd as lightning flashes overhead. The crowd starts to throw bottles and other trash at Chase as he climbs into the ring and walks to the middle as 4 lightning bolts hit the four ring posts and then Chase awaits the start of the match.*

Singles Match
MGK vs Chase Storm

---

The bell rings and MGK walks up to Chase Storm and looks him directly in the eye. Chase Storm mouths something for a split second but MGK simply smirks and slaps Storm across the face before following it up with hard right hands. Storm staggers back into the ropes and MGK wastes no time in whipping him off of the opposite ropes, and as Storm comes back at him, MGK takes him down with a clothesline. MGK is smirking all the time as he now cockily sends a few half-assed kicks into the grounded Chase Storm before backing off and allowing him back to his feet. Storm gets up and charges at MGK, using his power to push MGK right back into the corner. He takes a few steps back and MGK jumps at him, but Storm catches him in mid air and tosses MGK across the ring!

Romero: Look at the sheer power of the rookie Storm.
Shining: It is impressive, but lets be honest here. Storm is a rookie in this business - you don't think he can better MGK for too long, do you?

MGK gets back to his feet, looking a little shocked at rag-dolled by a man who he thought was obviously going to be easy work. This time MGK has his game face on, and the two circle each other for moment before the huge Chase Storm again charges at MGK, but this time MGK responds with a quick armdrag takedown. "The Undisputed Icon" gets back to his feet and grabs up Chase Storm by his hair, delivering a few more shots as he pulls him upright. This time MGK whips him into the ropes, and as he comes back off of them MGK catches Storm in a sleeper hold, wearing the big man out. Storm however leans forward and lifts MGK, who still has in in the sleeper hold position, clean off of his feet! MGK thinks about what to do for a second, then knees Storm in the back, forcing him to lean backwards, and MGK then pulls back on his head, forcing Storm to fall back to the mat and right on to the two knees of MGK!

Shining: Great innovation by MGK.
Romero: MGK can get his way out of any position, and that's why he should be VXW Champion.

Storm holds his back in pain on the mat as MGK gets up and taunts the booing crowd. He screams at Storm to get up, and when he does MGK nails him with a Superkick and makes the cover! One...Two...Three!

Winner via Pinfall: "The Undisputed Icon" MGK!

As the bell rings, the referee attempts to raise MGK's hand in the air but MGK pushes him away and drags a limp Chase Storm over to the corner and puts him in the position for the Bullet With A Name! Before delivering, however, MGK rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair from the under the ring before rolling back in and running at Chase Storm, delivering the Bullet With A Name while smashing the chair directly into Storm's face! MGK stands in the ring, grinning after the move, then changes his expression for a moment, then grins once more as if he has come up with some kind of sick idea. MGK rolls out of the ring and hurries to the back, not even looking at the crowd as he does so.

Shining: MGK has snapped! And God only knows what he is thinking about now!
Romero: Don't ask me, but whatever it is, it doesn't look good..

*Shortly thereafter we cut in elsewhere to find none other than Rage himself walking around backstage. He soon stops at a close-by vending machine, and reaches into his wallet. He pulls out two bucks, and inserts it into the machine moments later. As he then bends down to pick up some change received and the soda...BAM!*

*Rage is down. Someone attacked him by slamming his head at the vending machine! The camera pans up to find Kuroi's face. Kuroi smiles then turns at the machine and breaks it open with a punch. Kuroi takes out a few cans and begins throwing it on Rage's fallen body. After that, Kuroi bends down near Rage's face.*

Kuroi: I told you all along I'd have my revenge from back in XHF Rage. I fucking told you. It may not have ended up going down in the same company this all originated from, but when you have done what you have done, even a year ago, in deforming me all over again, there is nowhere you can run, or hide. Because I'll always get you.

*Kuroi grins, then walks off, leaving Rage a mess, and barely conscious.*

Romero: What a night we're having here Shining, things are definitely heating up on he road to Summer Shudder!
Shining: That they are, and from the looks of things just now between Rage and Kuroi we're nowhere near finished yet folks!
Romero: Seriously though, what has gotten into the mind of Rob Arnold? I'm quite baffled..
Shining: I dunno but there'll be hell to pay I can tell you that for sure. We've seen what he did to Spike and Awesome, and his match with Zero Tolerance.
Romero: Not to mention MGK showing Chase how things are done!

*"Sympthony #9" starts to play as the lights dim and gold lights flood the arena as pyros go off on the entrance stage. Celeste comes out with Rena Steel by her side flanked by John and Mike Hunter. They all walk down the ring as a red carpet is rolled out in front of them. The Hunters slip into the ring as Rena slips in after them and then Celeste stops at the apron raising her right leg up onto the apron and then her left one making a split as she slips in under the bottom ropes. She then gets up and waits in the middle of the ring for her opponent. As John, Mik, and Rena all leave the ring.*

Romero: Well here's our Xtreme Champion, Celeste!
Shining: And she will be fighting.....Seth.....Evans!
Romero: Quite a match debut for ....Seth.....Evans.

*At the start of March of Mephisto by Kamelot, the crowd is all waiting for the arrival of Seth Evans. The lights have dimmed down a little, but still there is plenty of light around the arena to still see a lot of what is going on---there is a small cheer going through the crowd for him, as they wait.

Aspirat primo fortuna labori

Ad infinitum!

After these words are spoken, the song begins to get heavier and the crowd cheers a bit louder while they still wait for the arrival of him! A mist has risen around the entrance way, and as the vocals of Roy Khan go through the audio system while Seth Evans emerges from behind the curtains. His arms are down to his side, as the robe drapes down just to his ankles the sleeves of the robe are pulled back a bit, showing only the leather gloves that cover his hands---as he walks down the ramp way, he looks out at the crowd nodding his head in approval of the cheers. A grin forms across his face before he continues a brisk walk towards the ring, and goes up the steel steps holding his robe up so he doesn't trip over it. He comes to the apron and steps through the middle ropes. Now, he finally takes the robe off with the leather attire underneath him. He carries the robe over to one of the ringside crew members, and hands it to them while rolling it up the lights have gone back to normal, and the mist quickly faded. Grabbing a hold of the ropes, Seth Evans began stretching for his match, and waited for the match to start.*

Romero: Woo it's...Seth....Evans!

Non-Title Singles Match
Seth Evans vs. Celeste LeRue

---

The bell rings and the two begin to circle each other, cockiness radiating off of both of them. They move forward for the lock up, but before anything can happen Celeste damn near kicks Seth's head off with a stiff sidekick to the head. Seth drops to the mat and recoils as Celeste taunts him. Seth gets right back up and lunges forcing a lock up. A test of strength begins and Seth manages to get the advantage forcing the pair into the turnbuckle. The ref comes in and forces a break up. Seth raises his hands releasing his grip, before Celeste reaches around the ref and hammers a thunderous slap across the face of Seth Evans.

Shining: Wow! She just slapped the taste out of him!
Romero: He'll feel that in like...five...minutes..damn.

Seth grabs Celeste by the hair and pulls her into another lockup before planting her into the mat with a DDT. The crowd are fired up, yet meet them with a mixed reaction. Seth gets to his feet and stalks Celeste. Celeste slowly begins to get to her feet, a little disorientated from DDT.She finally gets to her feet when Seth charges, hooks and nails the Voice of God!!

Romero: What the hell!?
Shining: did you see that from....Seth....Evans!?

Seth makes the cover. One......Two...-Celeste gets her foot on the ropes and the referee is forced to stop the count. The ref makes sure Seth gets away from Celeste as she's by the ropes.
Romero: Well Seth thought he had the match won there.
Shining: But he didn't realise who he was fighting when he picked a fight with ....Celeste....Le....Rue!
Romero: That's getting pretty old pretty quick...

Seth backs away as Celeste gets to her feet. The ref moves out the way and Celeste charges, diving at Seth, but to the side, hooking his leg as she rolls through, pulling him down for a roll up pin. The ref counts and Celeste grabs Seth's tights. One.....two....th-kickout! Celeste bounces away from Seth who jumps to his feet turning around and taking Celeste down hard with a painful clothesline. Seth now stops to take in the situation as Celeste clutches her head laying on the mat.

Shining: Well Seth certainly brought the excitement down in this match.
Romero: ....Seth...

Seth drags Celeste back to her feet, but she pokes him right in the eye and nails a shocking spinning wheel kick out of nowhere. Seth falls clumsily and takes the referee down with him. Celeste grabs the ropes to regain her composure as Seth clutches his eye. Celeste spots the ref down and she grins as she slides out of the ring and grabs a chair from ringside, sliding it into the ring, she then leans under the apron and pulls out a table, sliding that into the ring too, but by this time Seth is back on his feet. Seth spots Celeste, but she doesn't see him. Seth sets the chair up and runs off the ropes, stepping up off the chair and jumping over the ropes, catching Celeste and nailing a hurricarana on the outside!!

Romero: ....EVANS!!...
Shining: Holy crap, now I wasn't expecting that!

Both of them lay out on the flimsy mats at ringside, Seth hurt from the velocity of the fall rather than the move itself. The ref is still down and after a few minutes Celeste and Seth begin to stir. They each begin to make their way back to the ring, instinctual behavior so it may seem. They each go towards one of the turnbuckles and use that to help them climb into the ring. The ref is STILL out. Once inside they take a moment to get their bearings before they lock up once again. Celeste drops to her knees and delivers the worlds strongest low blow ever to poor Seth Evans. Seth falls backwards and Celeste grins like a psychopath. She smiles and winks at the camera before she gets to her feet and begins to set up the table that she slid into the ring earlier.

Romero: Well Seth won't be having kids.
Shining: Something you have in common then.
Romero: My genitalia are fine!
Shining: I know...but your an ugly bastard!

Celeste turns around to drag Seth to his feet. She hooks him from the leg and shoulder and places him onto the turnbuckle. Celeste then climbs up after him and hooks ready for the belly to belly moonsault suplex...the Bank Roll BUT Seth Evans delivers a shockingly hate filled headbutt to Celeste and then uses the moment to fly off the top turnbuckle taking Celeste down with him with the Falling of a God through the table!!

Shining: Sweet Jebus of Nazgul!
Romero: Woa...that was an insane reversal...and so was what you said.

Seth gets to his knees, holding his back a little as he pushes away the remains of the table. Seth covers....the ref is up....one.......two......THREE!-Celeste kicks out but just a millisecond too late, Seth scores the huge victory here!

Winner via Pinfall: Seth Evans!

Romero: And Seth has done it, he's managed to pull off a major upset of sorts by pinning the Xtreme Champ this evening!
Shining: Yeah it should certainly be interesting to see where things go from here between these two, but one way or another I gotta believe Seth may be in line for a shot at Celeste's gold itself in the very near future.

*We now cut in to Alex Reids office, the owner of the VXW looks up and smiles, with the VXW Logo flashing behind him as he does.*

Reid: Good evening one and all. As you know, VXW has its second Pay Per View coming up, and Id like to announce three matches already that Im making for it. You see, there are a few issues that have become apparent to me in the last few days. The first, is the VXW Tag Team Titles. Now we have a string of tag teams who are looking for a shot at it, and Im going to give them that. So were going to next week have two contendership matches, with the winners facing each other at Summer Shudder.

*Reid smiles.*

Reid: First, DD N CK will face the Heavy Hitterz. The winners will then face the winners of the Callaway Brothers against the Redneck Renegades. Gentlemen, good luck.

*Reid takes a sip from his mug next to him.*

Reid: The other match I need to make, I make reluctantly. You see, after his attacks tonight, and the history flowing with the three superstars, I feel that I need to make the match, Rob Arnold will face both Spike Kane and Steve Awesome in a triple threat match. You see, I say reluctantly because Rob isn't ready, he isn't ready because this match is also for the Vacant Trans-Atlantic Title.

*Reid sighs.*

Reid: And lastly, I have a huge match which will exclusively feature two of VXW's brand new hot signings. Both men are former XHF X*Crown and United States Champions - Kevin Hardaway and Apollyon! There will, of course be other matches made as we go along toward July 29th. Until then, sit back and enjoy your main event!

*The lights of the arena dim as the voice of Puff Daddy overtakes the PA system followed by the voice of Nas.

The Main Event has returned...

As the chorus hits the stage fills up with fog and everyone in the arena rise to there feet in anticipation. Green lights shine through the fog back and forth until they stop on the entrance way and a man known as a legend emerges from the entrance way. Some of the crowd pops at the sight of a true legend and others boo for the pure hatred of the man as Venom walks through the fog. He stops at the top of the ramp and looks around at the screaming crowd. His trench vest is long down to his knees covering up most of his waist. He wears his traditional black tights with a V on each side in white, a black head band low over his eyes, black tape on his wrists, and tops it off with sweet ass pick pads and long black boots with Vs on each side of them as well. He grins cockily and begins to walk down the ramp as the first verse hits.

Venom stands at the side of the ring as the first verse ends and he mouths Hate me to the fans shouting at him at ring side and then leaps effortlessly onto the side of the ring and then up over the ropes into the ring. Venom then spins around in the center of the ring and throws his arms out as he does posing for the crowd. Venom then heads to the corner as the music fades.*

*As the fans wait in anticipation, the riffs of "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor can suddenly be heard over the PA system as the crowd all rise to their feet as they away the arrival of the VXW Champion himself, Doc. The lights in the arena turn blue except for two white strobe lights which cross over in the "X" of the St Andrew's Cross of Scotland and this cues "The Boyhood Doc" Doc to make his way from behind the curtain and stand underneath the cross. A spotlight appears on the VXW Title which is around his waist and suddenly the lights turn on as a pyro goes off behind Doc and "Eye of the Tiger" hits the chorus.

"It's the Eye of the Tiger,
It's the thrill of the fight,
Rising up to the challenge,
Of our rivals"

Doc begins to make his way slowly down the ramp, high-fiving as many fans on either side as he can on his way down. When he reaches the ring, he climbs up the steps and walks along the apron, where he faces back up the ramb and grabs the top rope with both hands, before dropping his body but skinning the cat over the top rope and into the ring! Doc spins around in the ring as he recieves the adulation from the crowd before he bends one knee and leans to the side, flexing his muscles in his trademark pose. Pyros go off behind him as he does so and Doc unstraps his VXW Title and hands it to the referee, jogging up and down on the spot as he awaits the beginning of the match.*

"The Boyhood Dream" Doc vs. Venom

As Doc shoots in for a collar and elbow tie up Venom connects with a stiff boot to the stomach. Venom grabs Doc's hair and knocks him down with a straight punch to the head. Venom takes the advantage early on. Venom suplexes Doc to keep him grounded.

Romero: Venom is doing the right thing, here, keeping the match slow and methodical. Billy cant match his strength.
Shining: If I were Doc I'd try to speed this thing up because hes as quick as lightning when he gets going and Venom wouldn't be able to keep up.

Venom hits Doc with a snap suplex...keeps a hold of him and connects with another. Venom pulls Doc up to his feet again and instead of going for another suplex, spins him around, applies a waist lock and performs a picture perfect German suplex with bridge. 12Doc kicks out!

Romero: Wow. Have you ever seen anything like that? That was dynamic.
Shining: I get the feeling were going to see that combination many times in the future. Venom is sharp and Doc should watch out.

Venom drags Doc to his feet and continues to work on him for a whole minute with big high impact moves. This flurry of moves ends with a headlock, looking for a bulldog. Doc pushes Venom away into the ropes. Venom propels back at Doc and The Boyhood Dream connects with a snapping hurricanrana that has the impact of a piledriver. Doc jumps to his feet and performs a leg drop to Venom, adding the pressure in. He made the lateral press.

1...2.. Venom kicks out!

Shining: That was close. He caught Venom by surprise.

Doc works on Venom with swift, cat-like kicks, into his gut, before nailing a roundhouse kick from nowhere! Doc hits the top rope. Venom turns and WHAM Doc connects with a swinging DDT! Doc covers

1...2...kick out!

Romero: This is a hot match. I think the fans are enjoying seeing both these guys get hurt!

Doc looks up, and then grabs Venom's ankle, looking for the Doc Lock submission, but Venom rolls out of it. Both men take a moment to get to their feet, and Venom charges at Doc upon standing. Doc kicks him in the gut and sets him up for a piledriver. Venom counters with a back body drop. Doc jumped to his feet and Venom, out of nowhere, hits him with a Yazuka kick!

Romero: Ooh! Will Doc be able to get up from that?
Shining: Well soon see.

Venom hooked the leg: 1...2...kick out by Doc!

Venom continues to dominate the match again. He throws Doc around like a rag doll with snap suplex after snap suplex, before getting a near fall after a fisherman's suplex. Venom tosses Doc into the turnbuckle and begins hitting him with big fists to the ribs. The referee shouts at him, telling him to stop. Doc tries to block these body shots but Venom catches him with a few punches to the face and Doc drops down into a sitting position in the turnbuckle. Venom begins stomping at Doc and the referee looks very close to disqualifying him but he stops just in time.

Shining: now that is really how you apply some pressure!

The referee has a word with Venom before allowing him to continue. Venom approaches the dazed Doc again. He pulls Doc to the middle of the ring and sets him up for the x-ed out. He lifts Doc, but Doc blocks, locking his legs behind him, forcing Venom forwards, and the pair roll through. Doc is up quick, and Venom, who shakes his head as he stumbles up, turns right into the Genocide Kick! Cover!

1...2...3!

Winner via Pinfall and STILL VXW World Champion: DOC!

As Doc has his hand raised in victory, "Eye of the Tiger" does not come over the PA system. Instead, as Doc stands in the ring and receives his VXW Title belt and soaks up the cheers from the crowd, suddenly the Tron is light up by a familiar face.

MGK: How you doin' there Doc?

The face across the tron is of course MGK as we now see, and a smile comes across his face. Doc looks up to the Tron, confused as to what MGK wants to say to him this time.

MGK: I've got to admit, nice job Doc. You beat a legend of our industry in Venom - but you also beat my partner - and my friend.

Suddenly the camera zooms out and MGK steps back and we can now see that Sweeney is lying motionless on the concrete ground of the parking lot area, both of his hands handcuffed behind his back. We can see the blood drip thickly down his skull and MGK raises his right fist to show a fine set of brass knuckles to the camera.

MGK: Well you know Doc - I just couldn't let you have all the fun without returning the favor. I know that you probably expected me to come after you again, so I did just the opposite this time. Oh, and don't worry about these...

MGK grins sadistically and looks at his brass knucks.

MGK: I haven't even used them yet.

The camera pans round to Sweeney again and this time we see a brick lying beside him - obviously meaning that MGK has hit him on the head with a brick and then handcuffed him! MGK doesn't say another word, but instead moves over to a motionless Sweeney and begins punching away on his bloody head with his brass knucks! Doc shakes his head in disbelief in the ring as the crowd begin to boo furiously at MGK's evil actions and Doc wastes no time in rolling out of the ring and running to the back. The camera then follows Doc as he makes his way quickly to the parking lot, but when he gets there he finds the entire parking lot empty! Suddenly we cut back to the ringside area where we can see that the tape of MGK beating on Sweeney is still rolling on the tron! We cut back to the parking lot, where Doc is now shaking his head, both in worry for his friend and at sheer confusion of what has happened. He moves over towards his Mercedes, where he finds a large piece of paper stuck to the windscreen. We zoom in to see that it says:

"Hey Doc, I figured you'd be back here sooner rather than later. Well I just wanted to let you know that your friend is in hospital if you'd like to visit him.

Oh, and if you'd like to visit me, I'll be in Glasgow next week. Nice house by the way.

Doc runs his hand through his hair, staring at the message but not knowing what to make of it. His eyes look genuinely worried for one of the first times on nation television as the VXW Logo appears on the screen. Goodnight everybody!
