*We open up to tonight's Cardiff venue of Ninian Stadium with the official Ascendancy event banner being displayed across the tron screen above, pyros going off all over the place and a generic upbeat show theme playing loudly across the PA System. We then zoom over to ringside and shortly thereafter the Ascendancy theme ends as the action is about to begin with the first arena activity of the night....*
*Breathe by Disturbed begins to play, and Leon Chant stands on the top of the stage, saying nothing at all. He looks around, and then to the ring, before slowly striding down to the ring

Chant starts to stride down the ramp, flexing his muscles, various members of the crowd are trying to make his break his game face, but its useless.

He stops at the bottom, and just stares at the camera, before hopping up onto the apron, and through the ring ropes.

He looks around, and flexes against some ropes, before awaiting the bell.*
*Jet's "Rip it Up" starts pounding out of the PA system as Nelly Angel comes bursting out of the back. He runs out onto the entranceway as his manager Joey Hawke slowly walks behind him. Nelly then runs down the ramp and slides into the ring, ultra pumped for his match while Joey Hawke slowly finds his place at ringside.*
Singles Match
Leon Chant vs. Nelly Angel

The opening bell sounds as Leon Chant quickly rushes at Nelly Angel. Leon raises his arm up to clothesline Nelly, but Nelly rolls under his arm, nearly getting his head taken off. Nelly hits his feet, quickly turns around, but then get hit the stomach by a kick from Leon. Leon then grabs Nelly's arm and picks him up onto his shoulders. Leon then falls backwards hitting a Samoan Drop on Nelly. Nelly hits hard. Leon quickly gets up and brings Nelly with him. Leon grabs Nelly by the arm again by he kicks Leon in the leg. Leon loses his grip. Nelly then kicks him again. Leon recoils for a second. By the time he raises his head, Nelly is no where to be seen. Leon turns around and sees Nelly standing on the top turnbuckle in the corner. Leon slowly walks towards him, but Nelly jumps, hitting a Shooting Star Press on Leon, even though he was standing. Leon falls fast to the ground and Nelly covers. ONE...TWO, kickout!
Romero: Man, what a swift move from Nelly Angel.
Shining: But he is going to need more than that to put Leon Chant down.
Nelly recovers quickly and stands up next to Leon. Leon looks up and sees Nelly and grabs his leg out from under him and trips him. Nelly falls down hard and hits the back of his head on the mat. Leon quickly gets up and drops an elbow on Nelly. Leon stands up and goes for another, but Nelly rolls out of the way. Nelly then runs and bounces off the ropes and dropkicks Leon, who is still down. Leon gets knocked back further, but gets back up. Nelly then jumps up and swings down, hitting a snap DDT on Leon. Nelly rolls him over and goes for the pin. ONE...TW, kickout! Nelly then throws his shoulder down again and goes for another cover. ONE...TWO, kickout! Nelly then stands up and goes towards the turnbuckle. He quickly climbs it, but Leon Chant is standing. Nelly decides to jump anyway, but to no prevail. Leon catches him and quickly hits a suplex on him. Leon then walks over to the corner and gets ready for the Train Collision! Nelly slowly gets up as Leon waits. Nelly then stands up and faces Leon, who rushes at him! As Leon gets close, Nelly jumps up over him, grabs his head and snaps it down in the Asai DDT!! The crowd goes wild from the move. Nelly looks dazed from the move. He looks around and sees Leon, who is out. Nelly crawls over and covers. ONE...TWO...THREE!
Winner via Pinfall: Nelly Angel!
Romero: My god, what a move!
Shining: That was a lucky move I think.
*We hear the opening intro for Makaveli's "Hail Mary" come over the P.A. system.

The house lights dim a bit and a red and white hue takes over the arena.

One half of the Brothers Fennell, Will comes walking out from behind the curtain he's nodding his head with the beat of the song and flashes his grill at the fans as he walks down the ramp way.

Will rolls into the ring flashes his grill once more then goes to his corner bouncing from foot to foot before bending down like a catcher behind home plate but resting his arms on his legs and waits for the opening bell of the match.*
*Annihilator's "Smothered" blasts over the PA system, as the guitars blaze with the drums and bass David Potvin appears in the entranceway, he breathes deeply and pumps himself up before entering the ring wearing plain black tights, red knee pads and black boots and kickpads.*

The bell rings and the match gets underway as Potvin hits the ropes, but Fennell moves backwards as he does so and when Potvin runs back, Fennell holds the ropes down and Potvin goes flying onto the mat below.
Shining: Fennell outwitting Potvin here not that thats hard.
Potvin gets to his feet slowly, but Fennell is not done and pulls down on the top rope, holding onto it and using the elasticity to pull him over the top rope as well and Fennell lands a huge cross body onto Potvin!
Romero: Fennell leads here in the early going!
Shining: You know, no matter how much you say that, it doesn't actually make a difference to the final result. The early goings mean nothing.
Romero: Whats this?
Potvin has managed to catch Fennell and he holds him across his midriff, slamming Fennell across the ring apron spine first. Potvin rolls Fennell into the ring and jumps up to the apron, then the top rope, and then lands a top rope leg drop onto Fennell's neck, following up with the pin attempt.
Romero: Potvin has his first opportunity to end this match right here!
1..2, no, Fennell kicks out. Potvin backs off as Fennell gets to his feet. Fennell turns around to get lifted by Potvin and is kicked back down with a dropkick. Potvin hits the ropes and comes back, looking for a rolling thunder, but Fennell pulls a Shawn Michaels and rolls backwards and uses his back muscles to jump to his feet, leaving Potvin to hit the mat. Fennell runs, using the turnbuckles as steps before jumping off the top turnbuckle to catch Potvin in the side of the head with a nasty looking kick. Fennell follows up with his first pin attempt, 1..2,no, Potvin kicks out this time. Fennell lifts Potvin and throws him into the ropes, but Potvin grabs the top rope with his arms to stop his momentum. Fennell runs at Potvin but receives a boot to the face for his trouble, and as he turns around, Potvin jumps to the second rope, springs forward and nails a bulldog on Fennell. Potvin goes for a quick cover, 1..2, no, Fennell grabs the ropes.
Romero: Some very back and forth action from these two agile competitors.
Shining: And forth and back action. Don't forget about that.
Fennell gets to his feet and Potvin grabs his arm, whipping him into the ropes. Fennell returns and Potvin jumps over him, and on the second rebound Potvin slides under Fennell. Fennell rebounds again and Potvin dodges to hit the left ropes, rebounds to hit the right ropes while Fennell rebounds again, and they finally meet in the middle of the ring where Potvin jumps to roll his back off of Fennells and grabs the champions arms, nailing him with a floating DDT. Potvin goes for the cover, 1..2..no, Fennell manages to kick out. Potvin lifts him and grabs him by the head, nailing a kneeling jawbreaker, and Fennell stumbles as Potvin hits the ropes, coming back with a high knee lift. The sound that Fennells skull makes against the flesh of Potvins knee is very loud and the crowd ooh in wincing pain at Fennell.
Romero: That one looks like it hurt.
Shining: Its a hard canvas, dumb-ass.
Potvin goes for yet another cover, 1..2..no! Fennell kicks out yet again, and Potvin is starting to get annoyed, gesturing to the ref for three. He covers Fennell again, 1..2..no, another kickout by Fennell. Potvin cannot believe this and so he lifts Fennell and kicks him hard in the gut. Potvin grabs Fennell's head and lifts under his stomach, flipping Fennell up into a powerbomb position, and then brings him down for a facebuster!
Romero: Nasty shot there from Potvin!
Shining: Except Potvin should take the advantage instead of playing to the crowd.
Potvin is indeed riling the fans up, as he picks up Fennell. Potvin turns around to receive a standing bicycle kick from Fennell!
Romero: Oh my God! What athleticism!
Potvin stumbles for a second before Fennell smiles and from nowhere launches a roundhouse kick right to the stomach of Potvin. Potvin falls back a step and collapses, Fennells sudden martial arts display taking him to the mat. Fennell pins, 1..2..3no! Potvin kicks out and Fennell continues his relentless assault, lifting Potvin and making him stand. Potvin is dazed and so Fennell runs to the ropes and jumps off the second rope, and spin kicks Potvin right in the side of the head! Potvins neck twists violently and he collapses, and while no permanent damage has been done, Fennell has obviously hurt Potvin bad, as Potvin lets out a tortured cry from the ground.
Shining: Fennell obviously wanting to win this one very badly!
Romero: That was a devastating shot.
Fennell lifts Potvin again and hits the ropes again, this time performing a handstand flip and dropkicking Potvin in the chest. Potvin stumbles back to the ropes and Fennell runs, ready to clothesline him to the outside but Potvin counters and from nowhere ducks the shot and lifts Fennell from behind, and hits the The Evolution!
Romero: The Evolution! Potvin countered Fennell and delivered his finisher!
Shining: It could all be over!
Potvin pins Fennell, 1..2..3 NO! Fennell kicks out of the The Evolution! Potvin cannot believe it and pins Fennell again, 1..2..no, another kickout! Potvin heads to the top rope and climbs the turnbuckle.
Romero: A risky move! Potvin going for his Handstand splash!
Potvin jumps into the air and lands the splash onto Fennells raised knees!
Shining: Counter from Fennell!
Potvin, winded, collapses to the side of Fennell, and the ref begins to count both men.

Potvin gets to the ropes and starts pulling himself up

And both men are up at 7. Potvin goes for a short arm clothesline but Fennell ducks, 40 Oz.!
Romero: Fennell nails his finisher!
But Fennell does not pin and goes to the top rope himself!
Shining: Did he not just watch what happened to Potvin?
Fennell jumps into the air and nails the Skyler High Dive successfully! And to finish it all up, Fennell turns Potvin over and cinches in the Dirty South Lock!
Romero: Fennells so-called unbeatable submission finisher, the Dirty South Lock. No-one has ever escaped it yet once its locked in!
Shining: I doubt after all that Potvin has the strength.
Potvin fights his way to the ropes, inching closer, and manages to hit it with his fingertips but Fennell pulls him right back to the centre and lowers the hold, putting even more pressure on Potvin's back! Potvin looks around frantically, but there are no ropes, nothing, and he is forced to tap!
Winner via Submission: Will Fennell!
*BOOM! Ladies And Gentlemen by Saliva starts blasting over the PA system. Pyros are going off on the stage all over the place.
"Ladies and gentlemen please
Would you bring your attention to me?

Joe Everyman then comes out onto the stage. His is holding the VXW Xtreme Championship in his hand. He looks into the crowd, holding his arm up with belt in hand. Maria Williams walks out from behind Joe and looks into the crowd too. Joe gives Maria a kiss on the cheek as they both start to walk down the ramp.

Joe Everyman and Maria Williams continue walking down the ramp looking into the crowd. Joe then comes to the end of the ramp and does a Brock Lesnar-esq jump.

Joe Everyman walks up the steps and climbs into the ring. He looks around in the crowd and hold up his arm. Then loud blue pyros shoot from the ring posts. Joe then stands and waits.*
*The opening part of "Animal I have Become" begins to play out of the speakers. The arena gets darker, with a dark purple shade to it. Smoke begins to slowly fill the area in front of the curtain.

With the opening verse complete, white lights begin to flash all around the arena, as the chorus hits.

With the chorus going on, you can see the body of Chaz Murphy walk through the smoke, with his hood over his head. He gets to the edge of the stage, where the smoke is thinner, and stops. He raises his head and arms up to the sky, as fire erupts behind him, before quickly dying down. He then makes his way to the ring with his head down. Once in the center of the ring, he pulls his hood back, before taking off his trench coat.*
VXW Xtreme Title Match
Joe Everyman vs. Chaz Murphy
Joe Everyman vs. Chaz Murphy
The contest begins with Chaz Murphy starting the out strong where he kicks Joe in the face, and brings him to the ground. Joe tries to get up, but Chaz quickly grabs him by the hair and forces him to his feet with a show of sheer strength. Chaz begins to throw Everyman, for an Irish whip, but Joe Everyman manages to reverse the maneuver and it is Chaz Murphy who ends up being sent to the ropes. Chaz then bounces back to Everyman who's going for a dropkick, but Chaz stops just in time, and instead kicks Joe himself in mid air. Everyman falls to the ground, holding onto his stomach in obvious pain. Chaz flips him onto his back with his foot, and puts a foot onto his stomach, in pinning position at this point. The referee goes for the pin: One...Two...Kickout!
Romero: Chaz almost got that and became our new Xtreme Champ.
Shining: Well Everyman got him mad.
Chaz gets irritated following the previous kickout and picks up Joe Everyman, but he doesn't settle him down on his feet. No, Chaz however picks him up over his head, and he throws him clear outside the ring. Everyone gasps in shock from the crowd, just from watching this, and Joe Everyman is again writhing from the pain down below. Rancor yells from the top of his lungs that the Xtreme Title is about to be his in a matter of moments now. Joe Everyman barely makes it to his feet, and he crawls to the ring thereafter. He gets up, but Chaz of course is ready for him. He kicks him in the stomach, and goes for a powerbomb attempt...Except Joe Everyman is able to reverse it into a Hurricanrana pin at the last possible second! Joe is able to grab onto the nearby ropes as leverage, and Chaz is kicking and thrashing violently to try and kick out but the pin is made nonetheless: One Two THREE!
Winner and STILL Xtreme Champion: Joe Everyman!
Romero: What a win!
Shining: Oh bull Joe used the ropes plain and simple to pull this one off!
Romero: Maybe so but under Xtreme Title rules any and all outside tactics like this are fair game Shining!
Shining: Indeed but that doesn't make it any less of a tainted win in certain aspects, and more importantly I have a strong feeling this is far from over between the two considering the way things did in fact end up playing out here tonight.
***Owner Alex Reid Makes A Major Announcement Regarding The Future Of The VXW World Heavyweight Championship***
*Following our final commercial break of the evening the Cardiff crowd are suddenly brought to their feet by the riffs of "Eye of The Tiger" as "The Boyhood Dream" Doc comes out from behind the curtain and begins to walk with a slight limp down towards the ring while slapping hands with his fans. A plaster is visible over his right eye as he rolls in to the ring and receives a mic from the announcer. He then unbuttons the top of his suit to reveal the VXW shining proud around his waist, bringing an added pop from the crowd*
Doc: As all of you know, this is the first time that I have been seen since the first ever gruelling Vortex match, and truth be told, I had a few injuries to nurse. Then again, I doubt any of them were as painful as MGK's.
*Doc grins as the crowd cheer at this statement through their hate of MGK.*
Doc: But I'm not here to talk about that right now. I'm here because I recieved a voicemail asking me to show up at the arena tonight for some reason, and that Alex Reid has plans for the VXW Title. Well just let me say one thing, whether I'm injured or not, no matter how busy I am, this title is always up for grabs. Ascendancy, PPV, it doesn't matter when, anyone who wants a shot at this title knows to muster the balls to call me out, and there I'll be. So Alex, if you're thinking of something, think real good, because I hear a lot of people dropping my name and there's a lot of people that I'm going to have to shut the fuck up.
*Just then, Alex Reid appears at the top of the ramp with a mic and a small smirk smeared across his face...*
Reid: As much as I'll admit that you've proved to be a fighting champion so far, I do have this little match in my head that will determine who really is the best in the company.You ask for challengers Doc, and challengers I will give you, because at Lost Souls you will be facing not one, not two, not three but four different opponents. The title will be 25 feet in the air, and the only way to win will be to climb the ladder to grab the belt!
*Doc looks at Reid and smiles a little too.*
Reid: Well you've got to be thinking, who is going to be in this match with you? Who will have the chance to take you out and take your belt from you? Your first opponent is the man you just been three times in a row, but your most hated rival in history and wrestling legend - MGK!
*Doc snarls a little at the sounds of MGK getting another title shot.*
Reid: But that's not all, see Doc, also in this match will be the man who defeated Venom - Steve Awesome! And none other than the Bald-Headed Behemoth and XHF great Rage will be joining him after his victory over Kuroi!
*Doc shakes his head at the sound of his opponents and then Reid continues to give the final opponent.*
Reid: And finally, another man who you have a lot of history against, a man who I hear wants to see who will get the advantage in a rubber match, "The Rockstar" - Kevin Hardaway!
*With this, "Eye of the Tiger" hits the PA as we cut out for good this evening on Doc, not quite sure what to make of this huge match just yet as a small VXW logo appears across the corner of the screen and we slowly fade...*
