The scene is set with a giant screen. We see trophies and plagues as well as flowers.
"Thank you all for joining me tonight in a night of celebration. We celebrate some of the best to lace up a pair of boots and compete in our ring. They may of been gone only for a short time, but they'll never be forgotten by the fans!"
**OOC note before i continue** (all speeches were written by the inductees themselves. thanks to everyone who replied and made this thing extra special this year)
"Our first induction of the night is a tag team. Many will remember their wars with SKY Force as well as those with Kado. They would go on to become the inagural winners of the Sakura Tag League. They'd win the J-ROK Power Ballad Championships as well as the XHF World Tag Team Championships and IJWF Tag Team Championships. This team created controversy, moments and memories throughout their tenure and will be remembered fondly for years to come. Please welcome with me one of the best teams to ever do it, please welcome Anna Daniels, Lisa Frankenstein, Dodo-A-Gogo!"
Dodo-A-Gogo: "thanks cunts, see you around."
"Our last inductee tonight is a very special one and a no brainer from long time fans. She's the last ever Goddess of Sakura Champion, former Idols of Sakura Champion, Last Mach 20 winner. She's the first ever J-ROK Visual Kei Champion and one of the most dominant forces this company has ever seen. She'd go on to have an impressive reign with two titles spanning over 800 days. She's been with the company since our very first ppv before going off the grid. Her most memorable moments would probably be ending the reign of Alexis Grace, ending the reign of Fukushima Zombie and going on to remain unbeaten for nearly two years. Please welcome with me everyone, the one, the only, the great... STRiFE!"
A seconds pass before the video feed comes to life. The ever intense woman known as STRiFE sits in a massive chair. Her chunky bulldog rests in her lap.
STRiFE: What’s going on?
She scratches the bulldog behind the ears.
STRiFE: I had a singular goal when I re-entered the realm of professional wrestling a few years ago. I wanted a match with a woman who I considered to be my rival. But to do that, I needed to build my resume. And so I traveled to different promotions. J-ROK was a stop on that journey.
A second passes.
STRiFE: But eventually that stop became a home to me. A lot of places didn’t vibe with my wrestling philosophies. They wanted something pretty and flashy, but J-ROK accepted my barbarism with open arms. I’ll always be grateful for that.
Another moment passes.
STRiFE: My time in the company was just like anyone else's. It had its highs; it had its lows But those good times? They were powerful.
Some seconds pass as she shakes her head.
STRiFE: Look, I’m not going to sit up here and ramble all night. I never thought that my accomplishments in the ring would lead to something like this. So, to the five fans I have out there? Thanks for the support. To J-ROK? Thank you for the honor. And to the roster? Ehh, protect your neck. I’ll get bored eventually.
She smirks before the feed cuts out.
Now for the OOC Induction into the HOF.
This years inductee means many different things to many different people. He was a fellow fed head, a fellow friday night vcer, and probably most importantly he was great friend. This person had left and rejoined and then left again; only to rejoin again and then leave again. Only to come back that one time and sorta this time? yeah that sounds about right. Words won't do justice just how much this inductee means to J-ROK. But i'll give it a little try anyways.
I've been sitting here for about an hour now. Trying to find out which words to use to best describe this years inductee. But no matter how many times i rewrite this part, or this thing as a whole, it still won't really be accurate. This person was apart of the fed and helped manage one of the early stables. He would also make appearances at the first four big december shows. From the Winter Wonderland Days to the Raison D'Etre days.
He was probably Berserks number one fan and Hunter x Hunters number one hater. He really loved this meme of five things behind another thing in the middle.
this represents both his love of this meme and his love of pokemon.
He's the handler of Dexter Point, The fed head of Destiny Wrestling, the handler of koch knocker and Dreadvan. He's a friend, and he's just one hell of a guy. Please welcome this years 2023 ooc jrok hall of fame inductee... please welcome with me...
Joe: First of all, thank you Kira. I know I tried to pretend hall of fames and accolades like longest reigning meant nothing to me. I tried to play it cool, that I was over it, that just enjoying it with my friends was enough. But the truth is since very first day of e-fedding, when I saw that list of names in GWA, I knew I wanted to leave a mark. And today, I can proudly say that I have.
When I got into efedding, it was simply because a fellow member of a pirate wrestling streams chat asked if I wanted to. Thank you Brian. Without you I would have never met wonderful people that I consider friends till this day. I would have never met Brewer, Caffrey, Hunter, or Josh, Tim, or Dylan. In fact XHF itself would just be random letters to me.
You know, many would scratch their heads at first glance and wonder how a person without an active wrestler made it into jroks hall of fame. I was even surprised myself. But the man behind it all reminded me of the many conversations, the hours of planning that I took for granted. Jrok is special in that sense because everything a person contributes gets remembered. It gets the recognition it deserves. Its fed head is truly committed to its history and direction.
Thank you once more, old friend. If I get inducted into 100 more halls, this is the one I'll remember most.
I know there may be some of you reading this thinking "oh he forgot me (mongo and rob)" or was I not important to him "(scorps, adrien, kanyon)." But know this, like almost every single time we interacted I was drunk when writing this. I didn't forget you. Just like Kira doesn't forget.
So finaly, thank you all once again. This last decade of making friends, making enemies, and making an ass of myself has been more than worth it.
