“The High Roller” Wesley Crane stands at the center of the room on a stage. There is a large podium in the center of the stage. The room is filled with reporters. Wesley Crane taps the microphone a couple of times to make sure it’s working.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “This thing on?”
The reporters all shake their heads yes or verbally say “yes.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Let’s get this thing started shall we? Let me start off by saying…”
Wesley places his HKW World Tag Team Championship and his HKW West Coast Championship down on the podium. He then pats his WUK World Championship.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Some mother fuckers in this company are straight up delusional. I’ve got people like The Bastards talking a lot of shit about being better than Wesley Crane. I’ve got them saying things like I don’t deserve to be the champion etc. Really? Really? I’ve beaten William Fowler twice. I’ve beaten Robert once. Let’s keep shit real, shall we? You’re running your mouth an awful lot for two guys that have lost to the WUK World Champion, Wesley Crane. If you guys were anyone else in the business, well, other than Kalmin Watts, I’d take what you have to say into consideration… but when you’re The Bastards, it makes it really hard for me to take what you have to say into consideration because the fact is, you guys are all past your prime. You peaked at an early age. It’s okay, it happens. Couldn’t happen to a better group of scumbags.”
A reporter from the middle of the group raises his hand.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “You, go ahead.”
Oliver Davis: “Mr. Crane, this is Oliver Davis from Wrestle Talk. Things seem personal between you and the Bastards. Would you agree?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Well, that’s the last time I take a question from you… I shouldn’t even answer your question, but I’m feeling generous. Yes, things with The High Rollers Club and The Bastards is personal… but they made it that way. It didn’t have to be like this… it could have been professional. It could have been what’s best for business… but the Bastards, week in and week out, did nothing but cheat. It started with William cheating to beat me in our first match. Every week after that, The Bastards got involved in my matches. Did you notice what happened when we were inside a structure that didn’t allow outside interference? I defeated William inside the Terror Dome to become the new WUK World Champion. When we went to war inside the Elimination Chamber, what happened? I defeated the best Wrestle:UK had to offer. I beat you again William, and I beat you too Robert.”
There is another hand that goes up in the air. Wesley motions toward the girl, telling her she can ask her question.
Mary Jane: “Thanks for your time, champ. I’m Mary Jane from the 420 After The Bell Podcast. Do you have any concerns that The Bastards will interfere in your match with Kalmin Watts?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “There’s a good chance. However, I know Mr. Blood is sick of their antics and wants to knock them down a peg. So he may have plans on how to keep this match fair and square. One last question, you over there.”
Dick Johnson: “Yes, I’m Dick Johnson from OverTheRopes.COM, speaking of Kalmin Watts. The two of you just had a huge HKW World Tag Team Match in Hardkore World. You and your tag team partner, Dan Stein, defeated Kalmin Watts and Gavin Drake. Thoughts on the match?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Yeah, Kalmin lost once again. The fact is, no matter what match it is, if Wesley Crane and Kalmin Watts are in there together, Kalmin loses… and it’ll be no different this next Legacy. Kalmin has wanted a one on one match with me since he arrived in WUK. Well now he gets it… but this time, I’m putting him down like a sick dog. Legacy is upon us. Time for war, Kalmin.”
Wesley lifts his championship belts up and heads for the door. Suddenly there is one more question yelled from the back.
Voice: “Is Katie Moss a good lay?”
Wesley stops in his tracks. He looks back and sees that the person who yelled it was none other than Sean Bean. Wesley starts shouting toward the back. Security comes in and keeps Wesley from entering the crowd of reporters. Sean Bean just stands there in the back with a huge grin on his face, knowing he’s gotten under the skin of The WUK World Champion. Wesley backs off and walks over to the microphone. Security is still on guard though.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Well well well, if it isn’t the Bastards bitch boy, Sean Bean. Listen up and listen up good… your friends… The Bastards… they’re finished. Got it? You go back and let them know that they’re no more. Wesley Crane always has a plan… and while I’ve got a lot on my plate… a match with Kalmin Watts, a World Championship Match against Ronnie Long… the Bastards are still on my radar. They’re still in my crosshairs. Their time is limited in WUK… facts! I’ve already beaten two out of the three. There’s not much more for me to do when it comes to the Bastards. So they’re on my radar but they’re not my main concern at the moment… but if they get involved in my matches, I’m going to make sure The High Rollers Club gives them something to think about when they kick the Bastards asses. There’s strength in numbers, Sean… and the way I see it, The Bastards are way out numbered by The High Rollers Club. So, if I were them, I’d keep Wesley Crane’s name out of their fucking mouths.”
With that said, Wesley Crane points at Sean Bean and then turns his pointing into a gun shape as the camera fades out.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “This thing on?”
