INT. ARENA THAT HOUSES WUK HOUSE SHOW

In the back of the arena, KALMIN WATTS and ANTHONY JORDAN are seated in director chairs with a third chair to their left that remains empty. Watts is in his street clothes as he just finished a match. He has the British TV Title resting in his lap.

JORDAN

You sure you want to take this interview?

WATTS

Yeah, it’ll be fine.

JORDAN

For the record, I dislike it.

After Jordan finishes, Katie Moss walks into the scene and sits in this third seat. She greets both men. Watts nods while Jordan snorts and shakes his head. Moss picks up on it.

MOSS

I know. Wesley Crane’s girlfriend is doing the interview, but do you really want to talk to Webber?

Jordan literally shudders at the idea.

MOSS

That leaves me. I am a professional. You have nothing to worry about. Wesley doesn’t care about me interviewing you, and he hasn’t gotten involved. He’s not worried about you in the least.

WATTS

(dryly) Awesome.

MOSS

(excitedly) I know, right?

(readjusts herself and gives a signal to the cameraman)

I’m Katie Moss here with the WUK British TV Champion, Kalmin Watts, and his manager, Anthony Jordan. Kalmin was handpicked by Ronnie Long to face Wesley Crane at Legacy. For those not up to date, Kalmin offered to defend his British TV Title against Wesley Crane, but the offer was rejected. This will now be a non-title match. Kalmin, what’s your thoughts on this latest development?

WATTS

I don’t think that much about it. Wesley Crane has always been a fussy, prissy diva. He doesn’t wrestle in these non-televised events. He stays in Syracuse and makes WUK revolve around him. He talks about wanting to be a company man, but I haven’t seen any of it. He does the bare minimum to get what he wants, then gets offended when others don’t see him as “the guy”.

MOSS

Are you calling the WUK World Champion fraudulent?

WATTS

I’m saying he has a bad attitude and that’s why he hasn’t been able to assert himself as the wrestler in WUK.

MOSS

Is any of this bitterness from HKW? For those who don’t know, Wesley Crane and Dan Stein successfully defended their Tag Team Titles against Kalmin Watts and Gavin Drake.

WATTS

My feelings on him haven’t changed because of the match. He did what he always does: he avoids me. Any time we were in the ring together, he ran to tag Stein. He didn’t want to fight me in the four-way match in October and didn’t want to fight me in the Battle of Britain Invitational. At Legacy, the running stops! Wesley Crane will have to wrestle me. There won’t be tag team partners to bail him out or wrestlers to act as a buffer between us.

MOSS

Do you think Wesley Crane is afraid of you?

WATTS

He’s afraid of having to handle his business like a man! Look at his rise in this company: he hid in a four-way, then the Invitational until he got a title shot. As soon as he had to face Billy Fowler man-to-man, he lost. He needed weapons, a cage, and his goons to win the rematch. Wesley Crane doesn’t do normal singles matches. He can’t win them. He needs fancy stipulations and help. At Legacy, he won’t have fancy stipulations, and I have someone watching my back. That’s Crane’s worst nightmare!

MOSS

How do you feel about your title being elevated? Technically, it is the only mid-tier title in WUK now. Wesley Crane is World Champion A, and Frank Windsor is World Champion B…for Bastards, get it? (chuckles at herself)

JORDAN

(sarcastically and with a fake smile)

Clever.

MOSS

I know!

WATTS

I can’t speak for the other champions or their titles, but I regularly defend the British TV Title. I offered to do it again, but was rejected. I show up and fight. Personally, I hate having to wait so long between Legacy and Dominion to defend, but it wasn’t my call.

MOSS

That’s admirable. So any comments on the big events in WUK?

WATTS

No comment.

JORDAN

But I have some comments, Katie.

MOSS

Go ahead.

JORDAN

In Wolverhampton, we have the British Television Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion squaring off, and it is not the main event. Why is that the case?

MOSS

Well, the Bastards are defending the Tag Team Titles against the Oblivion Death Squad.

JORDAN

You mean the guys Mister Blood hates, the ones who disrespected his business and his belts, get the main event? That is what Blood does to his enemies? So, if Blood’s woman cheats on him, will he give the other dude a World Heavyweight Title shot?

MOSS

Word on the street is that Lord Dominicus would, if he owned the company. With Blood, it is strange.

JORDAN

It is more than strange! Blood could have stripped them of their belts. He could have fined them. He could have fired them. Nope, main event on the biggest show before Dominion!

MOSS

Why do you think he did this?

JORDAN

I have no idea. Maybe he is in league with the York-shire Pudding Gang. Maybe they are all on the same side. Maybe Rob, Frank, Billy, and Sebastian sat down and planned this all out together. That is the only thing I can guess. If I ran this company, I would have fired the three of them, then flown to their hometowns to publicly slap their fathers in the face for raising such trash!

MOSS

I guess it could be…

JORDAN

It is! If Blood wants to squash this rumor, then there is only one thing to do.

MOSS

Which is?

JORDAN

Promote Kalmin Watts versus Wesley Crane as the main event! I am calling on Wesley Crane to join me in the public call to change the main event of Legacy!

MOSS

He’ll definitely hear about this.

JORDAN

I suspect he will.
