TAP OUT WRESTLING STATEMENT ON JACK DIAMOND’S COMMENTS
[LAS VEGAS, NV, APRIL 15, 2023] Tap Out Wrestling would like to reiterate to the media that, at the time of writing, there has been no change in the contract status of current Openweight Champion, Jack Diamond.
Tap Out Wrestling have continually stated their willingness to negotiate with Jack Diamond. It was also stressed to his management team that no negotiations would take place during the XHF Rumble period. This is out of respect for both their client’s and Cross Recoba’s training camp for the match to maximise their chances.
The outbursts released by Jack Diamond are viewed by the Tap Out Wrestling board as purely posturing and grandstanding in order to create a narrative to better suit their client’s financial wishes at best and childish gamesmanship for the Rumble at worst.
Cross Recoba was quoted on the matter saying:
"I’ve always maintained a professional and courteous relationship with Jack Diamond throughout my time knowing him. I’m confident this will be resolved in time for Tap Out Wrestling 13 where I expect him to compete in a tag-team match with Jason Long against Close Collins and Jackalope. I would never wish him ill will but if he is of the belief the grass is greener on the other side, perhaps he might be better suited on the roster of a two-time XHF Phoenix Champion and see how long that view lasts."
If any press outlets would like further information, please use the contact information at the top of the page in the first instance.
