Sunday April 30th, 2023 - Press Room Inside Gillette Stadium - Foxborough, MA
The scene opens in a packed press room, the backdrop behind the podium shows the Diamond Club Logo as well as the Diamond shaped DTF logo. The crowd stirs as the door to the press room opens, and Jack Diamond enters heading straight for the podium. He holds his TAP OUT Openweight Championship Belt over his shoulder as he looks around the room, smiling. He adjusts his tie and collar and clears his throat.
Jack Diamond: Thank you all for being here this morning. Before we get started, I won't be taking any questions this morning... with that out of the way, what a great Sunday it is! The Rumble is upon us everyone! I can't wait to get in that ring tonight and mix it up with the dozens of X*Crown hopefuls on my way to a third championship reign. That's not why I've called you all here today though. I also haven't called you all here to discuss any contract negotiations between myself or my employer, Tap Out Wrestling and one of my opponents tonight, Cross Recoba. Besides, there is no new news there, and won't be until tonight is over with.
There is clearly disappointment on some of the reporters faces in the crowd. Jack pauses and folds his title up and lays it in front of him on the podium.
Jack Diamond: No, the reason I've asked you all here today is to announce that tomorrow, Monday, May 1st, 2023, Diamond Training Facility will officially open. It's been a tremendous experience with my team and supporters to get the hard work completed to meet our opening date. Enrollment will begin tomorrow as we build our membership. Training will begin immediately to prepare our future stars of the Network for any goal they have. We will also begin working towards our first show that will showcase our talent. DTF will host The Diamond Mine in June, live inside our Event Center at our Diamond Club Las Vegas location. In fact, the work done to our event center has been amazing! We have worked endlessly to complete this beautiful 18,000-seat multi-purpose arena that will not only house our monthly Diamond Mine show but be set up to host an array of sporting and entertainment events. I am happy to announce that it too is having its grand opening tomorrow as well as we have a live music, games, and food vendors. I encourage everyone in the Vegas area to come out and check it out. I personally will be there, hopefully sporting the XHF X*Crown Championship! Big things are on the horizon, folks, and it starts with those who choose to be DTF! Thank you!
There is applause as Jack takes his championship and bows to the crowd before exiting the stage and heading towards his Lockeroom.
