Match One: J-ROK Eight Man Tag Team Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
RIONA, Zolothach, El Unico Demonio & Esmerelda Kanyon Vs. Bereta Blade, Strike 2 Kill, & Jacob Striker
RIONA, Zolothach, El Unico Demonio & Esmerelda Kanyon Vs. Bereta Blade, Strike 2 Kill, & Jacob Striker
Fumio Daemura: The following contest is an eight person tag team match scheduled for one fall! Featuring in this corner…RIONA, Zolothach, El Unico Demonio, and Esmerelda Kanyon!
PyschoKGB: This is the first official sense that we have seen Zolothach in a Jrok ring in a long time.
MUSHI: It might have been a good thing. Zolothach causes chaos where she goes.
PsychoKGB: That’s the truth too. Look at what she’s been doing to poor Beretta Blade?
MUSHI: The girl can’t catch a break with Zolothach at her at every turn.
Fumio Daemura: And their opponents in the opposite corner…Beretta Blade, Strike 2 Kill, and Jacob Striker!
PsychoKGB: Looks like the teams are figuring out who will start out in the ring first for their teams.
MUSHI: Looks like Zolothach is going to start on that team and Beretta Blade on the other. This is the first official sense that they have been in the ring together. I wonder how things are going to pan out?
PsychoKGB: We’re about to find out as the bell is sounded to start the match!
MUSHI: Here we go!
The bell sounds to start the match and Tabitha Osborne and Beretta Blade meet in the center of the ring where they glare at one another as if they were in a battle of pure willpower. Tabitha grins like a mad girl.
Tabitha Osborne: You’re gonna go down, Silver Spoon.
Beretta Blade: I am not a Silver Spoon!
Beretta tackles Tabitha to the mat and begins wailing on her with left and rights before getting up. Tabitha rises to her feet and is caught by Beretta who brings her down with a Russian legsweep. Tabitha rolls away and to her feet where Beretta runs at her, but stops in her tracks when Tabitha holds up a hand with electricity arcing between the fingers.
Beretta Blade: You wouldn’t…
Tabitha Osborne: Try me.
Beretta takes a step forward, but Tabitha playfully waves her lightning-cloaked hand in front of her. Beretta thinks better of it and takes a few steps backward to her own corner of the ring with Tabitha hot on her heels.
PsychoKGB: Why isn’t the ref yelling at Tabitha about using magic in the ring?
MUSHI: He won’t be wanting to get blasted, you know.
Beretta reaches back and tags in Jacob Striker, who leaps over the top rope with a hard right hand to the side of Tabitha’s face hard enough to distrust her concentration for the magic and send her right down to the mat. Tabitha starts to get up, but is knocked down to her hands and knees from several forearm smashes. Jacob stands up and kicks Tabitha in the ribcage with a punt kick. The impact lifts Tabitha several feet into the air before landing her on her face.
Jacob Striker applies a Double leg-trap chickenwing inverted facelock, sometimes with boot strikes to the head called the Redrum. The ref gets into position to see if Tabitha will submit. She screams, blood trickling down her chin from her mouth from the damage the kick had done to her, but does not submit.
RIONA jumps in and breaks the hold before the referee shoos her back out. Jacob gets Tabitha up and whips her to the ropes. On the rebound, he comes at her with a discus big boot “the Ruffian Kick” that puts Tabitha back down to the mat.
Jacob starts to get Tabitha up into a bodyslam position, but she blocks the move and turns to bring him down with a reverse neckbreaker. She begins heading for her own corner while Jacob is down.
PyschoKGB: Zolothach looking for the tag.
MUSHI: Jacob is up. This is going to be a photo-finish!
Tabitha leaps for the corner and tags in Esmerelda Kanyon, who jumps over the top rope and starts laying into Jacob with lefts and rights. She steps back and hits a superkick that sends Jacob to the mat with authority! She goes for the cover, but Beretta Blade is quick to break up the cover before the ref can get into position.
This brings Tabitha Osborne back into the ring who quickly slams her fingertips into Beretta’s throat, sending her to the mat where she rolls out of the ring to clutch at her throat. The referee herds Tabitha back to her corner and then looks out over the downed Beretta.
Esmerelda gets Jacob back up and throws him to the ropes, hitting a spinebuster on the rebound! She jumps to her feet and signals that she’s going to end this match.
PyschoKGB: Isn’t this a bit early in the match to be going for the end?
MUSHI: If she can hit it, it might be all over.
Esmerelda throws Jacob to the ropes and goes to the opposite side herself. While she can’t see them, Agent Smith and Agent Johnson pull down the members of Strike 2 Kill and begin brawling with them while Esmerelda hits the BANG! In the center of the ring. She goes for the cover and Beretta jumps into the ring again to break the pin, but is tackled by Tabitha.

Match Two: J-ROK Trios Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
E.V.E. Vs. El Combatiente, Wolf Fang Ayame, & Momoko Honda
E.V.E. Vs. El Combatiente, Wolf Fang Ayame, & Momoko Honda
This match would start off with chaos. Some Tokyo regulars would make their way up north to try and get their hands on EVE. The small group of fans would be stopped by security and kicked out promptly. The rest of the fans would boo and curse EVE and cheer on EC, Wolf and Honda.
The match would start proper with Price and Honda. Two women who's made their legacies with the New Wave Championship would clash in a heated battle of speed and wits. Both women would brawl back and forth before crashing outside the ring. EC would rush in and be met with Dylan Black. The two men would exchange chops as wolf fang ayame would hit a crossbody to BBW to the outside. The two start brawling on the outside.
Meanwhile we see Black dodge a chop and drop Combatiente down with a snap German Suplex. He pops him with a disaster piece and goes for the pin. Momoko saves the match with a happy landing on the spine of Dylan. He rolls out and Darlene lays on the offence. EC fights back and hits the sliced bread. He gets a two before she kicks out. He's booted out of the ring by Bigby.
The heels would heel it up and handcuff EC to the guard rail. They would spear Ayame into the crowd and beat Honda down to a bloody pulp. They all hit their finishers on her before stepping on her neck for the pin.
Fumio Daemura: "(Your winners of this match, EVE!)"
The fans throw cups and toilet paper at them as they gloat and rub the win. But they can't celebrate for long as The Academy and TEMERARIO come from the back and attack them. The two trios brawl into the crowd and out of the stadium, into the streets.
The scene opens to the familiar backdrop of the Heroes for Hire logo in the backstage area. Emerging onto the scene is the manager of the group, Gregory Murphy, who has his signature slimy grin stretching across his face, as he clasps his hands together in excitement.
Gregory Murphy "Ladies and Gentlemen, your JROK TRIOS CHAMPIONS... the Heroes for Hire are at your service!"
Stepping into the forefront of the frame are the current JROK Trios Champions; Mark Storm, Mitsuo Shimada and Takashi Shinobu. Storm has a smirk that plasters over his lip as he approaches the camera, his championship belt firmly buckled around his waist.
Mark Storm: "April 30th, 2022... Jam Sessions 14, The Dark Side of the Moon... that was the last time we faced UZUMAKI as a unit, in trio's battles... one year ago today, we wrestled to a time limit draw, so I guess you could say this match has been in the making since then. And since then, we've become one of the most accomplished JROK Trios of all time, becoming the longest reigning champions in the process and now, our story feels as though it's coming full circle, doesn't it? How fitting, that a year on from our first meeting, we meet again except the circumstances now, they favor the champions, completely. We're that team that everybody is tryna catch up to, we're that team that set the standard each and every time we step into that ring... we're the best team in the world, and tonight, we prove it once again."
Shimada steps into the forefront of the frame, holding his championship belt in his hand and raising it to the camera, his eyes fix to it.
Mitsuo Shimada: "(The tables have turned. Funny, isn't it? We're now the team that sit upon the mountaintop, but for me, that was always going to be the case. That was always the vision. And now, we have the chance to cement ourselves, and our legacy, and we're not taking that lightly, not for a second. Sure, they've replaced a member since the last time we met, but since then, like Storm said, we've elevated our game to another level. We've gone through teams, established teams for that matter, and we've done so with relative ease, but we know that the challenges that are to come, they're only going to get tougher. We've put a target on our backs, we've let the whole wrestling world know that whoever wants it, can come get some, if they have the minerals to do it... and thus far, it's been quiet. Since Storm put out the challenge, it seems as though everybody's gone mute... but out of nowhere, UZUMAKI want to step up to the challenge? I say bring it on, and bring everything you've got, and some. We're not backing down anytime soon and our reign is only just beginning to scratch the surface, believe me. I've seen the future, I know what's to come... and there's so much more on the Horizon, for the Heroes for Hire.)"
Shimada offers his signature wink to the camera as Shinobu steps in from behind him, shuffling his belt up his shoulder.
Takashi Shinobu: "(Right now, I can feel the pressure... as we build something special here, I can feel the weight of the world mounting on top of my shoulders... and I love it, and I know I've gotta to do everything in my power to keep it this way! That's what a champion does! That's what we are, fighting champions, and we'll hold that pressure of the world, until the end of our days and we can't fight anymore... but until then, I want it all. I want the burdens, and the ugly sides of things, the blood, the sweat and the tears. When you live by the sword, you die by it and we intend to do so... tonight, our reign won't be ending. Tonight, we will reach another milestone. And tonight, the world will know... that the Heroes for Hire, aren't going anywhere!)"
The scene gradually fades to black.
Match Three: J-ROK Singles Rules; 30 Minute Time Limit
Fukushima Zombie Vs. Jesse Jamester
Fukushima Zombie Vs. Jesse Jamester
The debut of the King of Violence in JROK was finally here. Soaking in the crowd as he sports the black and red attire for his self-proclaimed Tour of Violence in the land of the rising sun, Jesse Jamester stood in the ring receiving mixed reactions from the fans.
Next was his opponent, the reigning IJWF Champion Fukushima Zombie came out to a choir of cheers. The resident JROK horror fanatic took to the stage and saw the arena explode with applause and signs being held high for her. She entered the ring with caution, having heard the stories of this monster Murder Lizard she was about to face and his lack of empathy for any opponent with a gimmick that he found disrespectful. Placing the IJWF title under the turnbuckle, she kept one eye on her opponent the whole time. While this was not a title defense for Fukushima Zombie, she knew the fight ahead was going to be as much a test as any championship defense she had encountered before.
In the early start of the match Fukushima uses her speed and agility to keep away from Jesse, working the left leg and knee specifically to try and ground the Murder Lizard. Her high flying skills were on full display, as she uses her Lucha maneuvers to catch Jesse off guard and take him down with a springboard shining wizard that knocked him to the mat.
Fukushima would take to the air, jumping off the top rope for her moonsault foot stomp and be met with nothing but canvas as Jesse rolled out of the way. The size of the Murder Lizard and resourcefulness would come in play around the ten minute mark as Jesse overpowers Fukushima after a high flying cross body is caught and turned into a running Powerslam. Jesse Jamester begins to toy with Fukushima, displaying the various suplexes in his arsenal of moves as the match went on.
A counter in the latter part of the match would give Fukushima new life as she used arm bars and submission maneuvers paired with her agility to work the left knee of JJ to wear him down. Going back to the top rope for a moonsault foot stomp though would be the final nail in her coffin as Jesse, playing possum jumps up off the canvas and catches Fukushima mid moonsault. Hitting his trademark finishing move, the Violent Grace (tombstone piledriver) and capturing the pin fall to gain his first victory in JROK on his Tour of Violence.
The King of Violenxe would exit the ring and stand at the top of the stage, watching as Fukushima tried to get up in the ring. As Fukushima finally stood up, the Murder Lizard returned to the ring and extended a hand to shake. Fukushima returned the favor — but it was not the gesture that she thought, as he would pull her in again and execute a second Violent Grave on Fukushima Zombie. Putting an exclamation mark on his debut, Jesse Jamester stood over the old guard of JROK in the center of the ring, relishing the jeers of the Japanese audience as the show cut to a paid advertisement break.
Rather than a microphone, Your Mother Humpin’ Florida ManG busts out a megaphone.
Florida Man:
TONIGHT! Otofuke is FLORIDA COUNTRY!
Despite being rather unpleasant, and generally despised by the locker room – the local name-dropping gets the deranged meth dealer an inappropriate face pop.
Florida Man:
Ol’ Glass Jaw kept me curtain jerking for the better part of 2022. Why? ...cause yo boi has a ridiculously strong right hook. Apparently being a convincing athlete don’t jive with Kira. Let’s chalk that up to the bippity boppity brain damage from my MarcEchoChicKnees. Point is, J-RoK management wanted to pigeonhole your toothy hero into a colourful comedy act designed to warm up crowds. Does Otofuke need warming up?
Perhaps it's the language barrier, but the crowd continue to eat up this dangerous reprobate’s truths.
Florida Man:
HELLS TO THE NOS. Y’all are rippity rockin! So despite my professional polish, this sad Floridian couldn’t move up the card no matter how high I got. And I really tried getting high. Was licking toads like they were Kara Monaco. Now my boi, Nausicaä is calling the shots. New management equals new opportunities! CHA-CHING! Right? I’m not expecting any nepotism, just a little professional payback for keeping Sky Force on top while they were laid up. Seems like the least they can do.
Taking a deep breath, FML seems deeply hurt, except his gator mask is still smiling.
Florida Man:
...instead they kicked me out by fax. ME, THEIR LEADER! ...AND I DON’T EVEN HAVE A FAX MACHINE! Is that even possible? So tonight, I might be crawling up to the midcard... but that is not because Nausicaä respects me, nah, it’s because my opener status and Shelby’s WHO status bring down the Hayley’s Big Ass for Tokyo Mayor glue sniffing euphoria. Unappreciated. ...So why am I still in J-RoK, and not plying my trade in WUK, attempting to conquer the United Kingdom for the glory of Florida? Maybe I ate too many paint chips as a kid, or MAYBE I like you.
“We Like You Too” broken English chant. Hokkaido is weird.
Florida Man:
So here’s the dealio. Other than Dylan FireBug Black, I’m the only J-RoKer to win the company a Network branded strap in a division not controlled by the company. I also had the longest reigning in-house title run of 2022, with the most defences. Made the YTA division so hot that Glass Jaw coveted the title himself. So is there any good reason why I shouldn’t be the J-RoK rep for OVERHEATED? That is, other than personal bitterness over my superior Sky Force leadership, Nausicaä? BICKITY BAM! I didn’t think so. Thank for the spot. So I am going to win the crown for J-RoK, just to rub it in Sky Force and Kira’s faces. I mention this now Naus, because if you have any HOOPS you need me to jump through before you make the announcement that is best for the company? ...Florida Man for Overheated. You’d better start diggity dang plotting now. FLORIDA OUT!
Mic drop. Florida chant. Goddamn Hokkaido.
PsychoKGB: Florida Man articulating a surprisingly rational reason to be our Overheated representative, but then doing it in a way that is bound to get pushback from the new president!
MUSHI: And he's been kicked out of Sky Force? I never knew he was officially in. And by Fax? Who does that?
PsychoKGB: It doesn't surprise me, communication with Sky Force sometimes occurs at a CHARLES pace - too cool to move... FAX machines would explain the speed.
Match Four: J-ROK Tag Team Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
Florida Man & James Raymond Vs. SKY Force (Shelby Morris & Hayley Grimes)
Florida Man & James Raymond Vs. SKY Force (Shelby Morris & Hayley Grimes)
Florida Man and James Raymond were eating it up as they took the team of SKY Force in the early going’s with technical prowess. Raymond would have Shelby in the ring for the majority of the opening bout; using submission moves to stretch the SKY Force model and twitch gamer between tags with his partner Florida Man.
James Raymond would try and go for his signature hold, Eternal Rest (a triangle choke hold) that Hayley would break up. A tag to Florida Man would see the comeback from Shelby Morris as she reverses a backdrop and flips over Florida Man’s shoulder to hit a dropkick on his backside and send him out of the ring. Getting the tag to Hayley Grimes finally, Shelby would use her partner as a stepping stool as the teamwork of SKY Force was on display and Shelby went to the air. Hayley would launch Shelby over the top rope and fans ‘oooooh’ed’ at the young woman’s aerial attack as she knocked Florida Man to the outside floor.
Hayley would exit the ring and help her partner up before throwing Florida Man back in the ring. The former JROK Visual Kei champion would use her large backside to throw her weight around and take Florida Man off balance right away. Hayley Grimes was no stranger to success, with SKY Force having been former TRIOS Champions, the group was seeking some momentum to return to the glory of the limelight they once had.
Grimes had Florida Man in a Boston crab soon after her assault with her fan favorite asset, and even looked to almost have the Floridian native ready to tap. James Raymond would undermine the referee’s authority though and hit running kick to the back of Grimes head to break up the pin. The referee forces Raymond out of the ring and this leaves both the legal competitors down.
The referee began the ten count as both Hayley and Florida Man remain down on the canvas. Around the count of seven Hayley would get the hot tag to her SKY Force partner Shelby Morris and Florida Man just barely reaches James Raymond to tag out. The two fresh stars would do battle with a trade of kicks and punches before Raymond would flapjack Shelby and deliver an uppercut for the ages as she fell from the sky. Going for the cover, James would get only two before Hayley would break up the count. As Hayley was ordered to go back to her corners James Raymond would take Shelby to his team’s corner and the duo of Florida Man and Raymond would undermine the rules as they assaulted Shelby in typical heel fashion. Raymond would tag out to Florida Man as the referee turned their focus back to the match.
Using the beat down on Shelby to keep control, Florida Man would hit a fireman’s carry and lock on a headlock sleeper on the downed Shelby to wear her down some more. The referee would lift her arm and on the third arm drop Shelby would find second wind and rise to life, getting back up to her feet and elbowing Florida Man’s stomach to relinquish herself from the sleeper hold. Hitting the ropes she dodged a clothesline and on the second rebound of the ring ropes Shelby goes for a cross body that catches Florida Man flush! However he rolls through and rises back up to his feet before hitting a fall away slam to Shelby. Mocking Grimes, Florida Man goats Hayley to enter the ring and when she does the referee’s attention is misdirected. Florida Man uses this moment to throat chop Shelby but it fails and she rolls away and tags her partner Hayley.
In his corner, Florida Man stands against the turnbuckle pad and begins unraveling the string as Hayley comes running at him for an attack. Raymond gives him the motion of an attack and Florida Man turns around in just the Knick of time to run head first into Grimes! The two bonk heads in an unusual manner and stutter step around as their equilibrium is off kilter. Florida Man shakes it off though and lifts Hayley by the waist, dropping her face first on the exposed turnbuckle and then tackles her forward before rolling through as he grabs both legs and bridges for the pin on Grimes! Raymond comes in and uppercuts the other SKY Force member as she goes to break up the count.
Florida Man and James Raymond steal a victory over the former Trios Champions SKY Force. Exiting the ring in quick fashion, Florida Man and James Raymond mock their opponents for the evening as the condescendingly do a ‘boo who’ gesture with their hands and wave goodbye as they walk up the aisle way to the entrance stage.
We cut backstage to an interview area as the Challengers to the upcoming Trios match are standing in front of an UZUMAKI banner. Yuki Sakaraba steps up and begins talking.
Yuki Sakaraba: "(Ever since last month i've been asked where's Kira? what's wrong with him? when's he coming back? well to be honest with you, we're all in the dark ourselves. But i do know one thing, he's got his reasons and while he's doing what he needs to do, i'll lead UZUMAKI into a new glory. Starting here with the J-ROK Trios titles. Belts we've came close to winning many of times, but tonight is going to be different. Because tonight, We're gonna take it to the moon! See ya in a few Heroes.)"
She winks at the camera as the head out for their match.
Match Five: J-ROK Trios Championship Match; J-ROK Trios Rules; 60 Minute Time Limit
UZUMAKI (Yuki Sakaraba, Carnivore, & Killa Kai) Vs. Heroes 4 Hire (Mark Storm, Mitsuo Shimada, & Takashi Shinobu) (C.)
UZUMAKI (Yuki Sakaraba, Carnivore, & Killa Kai) Vs. Heroes 4 Hire (Mark Storm, Mitsuo Shimada, & Takashi Shinobu) (C.)
Fumio Demura: “The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL and is for the JROK TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIPS!”
MUSHI: “The longest reigning JROK Trios champions Heroes 4 Hire defending here tonight at Jam Sessions 19. We are in for a treat with the way these Trios teams have competed in the past.”
Psycho KGB: “They take on the team of UZUMAKI; made up of Yuki Sakaraba, Carnivore, and Killa Kai. All have made their bones in Japan over the years and tonight they look to add to their list of accomplishments with the conquering of arguably the best Trios team in history.”
The camera pans around the Gymnasium, showing the jam packed bleachers and chairs ringside as the Japanese crowd get hyped for the following Trios title match.
Fumio Demura: “Introducing first, the challengers for this evening! Weighing in at a combined weight of 517 pounds this evening! They are the stable known as UZUMAKI — Yuki Sakaraba, Carnivore, and Killa Kai!
Fumio Demura: “Introducing their opponents, the reigning and defending JROK TRIOS CHAMPIONS! Weighing in at a combined weight of 670 pounds this evening! I have the pleasure of introducing the longest reigning JROK Trios Champions, HEROES 4 HIRE — Mark Storm, Mitsuo Shimada, & Takashi Shinobu!
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Starting off for UZUMAKI is Carnivore, and Heroes 4 Hire is Takashi Shinobu. Carnivore takes Takashi to an empty corner immediately and tees off with punches before Irish whipping him and stopping to pull him back into a rising knee attack. Takashi gets lifted up in the air with a stalling suplex by Carnivore, but is able to knee Carnivore in the head and reverse it into a DDT! Takashi goes for a running soccer kick to the chest of a sitting Carnivore; yet it’s caught and Carnivore rises, lifting Takashi with one hand while he holds the leg. Carnivore spins the leg around and grabs hold of the waist from behind, GERMAN SUPLEX!
MUSHI: “Exploding German suplex with Carnivore popping the hips for that extra oomph! We don’t see much of a difference here between these two but Carnivore is eating up the Japanese hero in the early going.”
Psycho KGB: “Rising from that first German suplex, it looks like Carnivore is going for a second!”
Exactly as the commentator says, Carnivore pulls Takashi up and goes for a second German suplex but is met with an elbow to the bridge of his nose twice. The second elbow releases Takashi and he sprints at the ropes, getting smacked on the back by Mitsuo Shimada for the tag and drop kicks the right leg of Carnivore to bring him down to a knee. Off the top rope comes Mitsuo Shimada with a missile dropkick to the face of Carnivore and a quick cover ensues.
One!
Two!
Kickout!
Mitsuo Shimada grabs Carnivore and lifts him to his base and facing away from him. Hooking his neck, Mitsuo drops Carnivore with a neckbreaker to his knee and quickly jumps up and double stomps the chest of the opponent before lifting his arms up for a moment to welcome the audience's cheers. Mitsuo Shimada runs to the ropes and comes back looking for Carnivore to be on the canvas but he has sprung up and clotheslines him out of his boots! Carnivore drags Mitsuo Shimada to his corner and tags in Killa Kai.
Psycho KGB: “Killa comes off the top rope and hits a diving knee to the face of Mitsuo! So fluid with his movement, Killa Kai shows off that rough shoot style that many American wrestlers consider stiff.”
Killa Kai lifts Mitsuo up and delivers a double underhook facebuster to the canvas! He rolls Mitsuo over for a cover but Mitsuo’s leg falls on the bottom rope at one and a half. Mitsuo is dragged away from the ropes by Killa Kai before he works the ankle and receives a kick to the thigh from Mitsuo. Rolling under a swinging right, Mitsuo leaps and tags in Mark Storm!
MUSHI: “Storm coming like a stallion ready for the rodeo here! Mark hits the ropes and ducks the roundhouse kick from Killa Kai, springboarding off the second rope and delivers a cutter to Killa Kai!”
The teams both spill into the ring and mayhem ensues as Mark Storm fights off Carnivore. Yuki takes Mitsuo over the top rope to the outside. Yuki and Mitsuo brawl between the aisle way and the ring and soon thereafter Carnivore is seen being tossed over the top rope by Mark Storm. Takashi takes to the top rope and moonsaults onto the three on the outside, causing all of them to be laid out ringside. Killa Kai however has bought his time and recovered enough that he catches Mark Storm off guard with a Krash Kick! Going for the pin, Killa Kai hooks Mark’s leg.
One!
Two!
Shoulder up!
Mark Storm climbs to his feet shortly after and trades blows with Killa Kai before Kai hits an enziguri that rocks him backwards into the corner. Running full speed, Killer Kai leaps up for a knee to storms face! Mark catches him and spins around setting Killer Kai on the top rope. Two strong punches to the jaw and Mark sets Killer Kai on his shoulders before hitting the Heroes End!
One!
Two!
Three!
Carnivore slides in but is a second late to breaking up the count. Mark Storm secures the Trios Titles remain with Heroes 4 Hire.
Fumio Demura: “Winners of this match and STILL JROK TRIOS CHAMPIONS - Heroes 4 Hire!”
Slapping the mat, Carnivore appears upset with the outcome and rolls under the bottom rope before punching Mitsuo in the jaw. The bell sounding appears to unphase the competitor and he brawls with Mitsuo up the aisle way into the back. Inside the ring Mark Storm notices and he points to Takashi and they both head to help their comrade, grabbing the Trios titles before exiting the ringside area.
Alexandra had only been in JROK for a few weeks when her world had fallen apart. She had to leave and there was unfinished business, business with a certain group of people she had known since she returned to the industry.
Alexandra Calaway: "Where is the Heroes for Hire locker room?"
Stage Hand: "Down that hallway to the right. Last room in the hall."
Alexandra Calaway: "Thank you. He's going to be so excited to see me."
She moved towards that hall, moving towards the hall the guy told her to take. She had just turned down the hallway when a guy with a headset grabbed her arm roughly, pulling her back into the main hall.
Crew member: "Miss you can't be back here."
She turned around revealing who she was.
Alexandra Calaway: "Get your fucking hand off me."
Crew Member: "Miss Calaway, I'm so sorry."
The guy let go of her and she made her way back down the hallway he had just been drug back down. Spotting their name on the paper next to the door, she smiled, taking a deep breath, she opened the door. Slipping into their locker room she cleared her throat, she smiled seeing him sitting there ready for his Trio's match with the other members of Heroes 4 Hire.
Alexandra Calaway: "Hey Storm.."
She looked as the other members of Heroes 4 Hire stood up, looking at her as if they were all about to fight.
Mark Storm: "It's fine guys, I knew she was coming.. there's a lot we all need to talk about."
The door shut between them and the camera as the show fades to commercial.
Match Six: J-ROK New Wave Championship Match; J-ROK Singles Rules; 60 Minute Time Limit
Anna Daniels Vs. Marcus Jackson
[/color]Anna Daniels Vs. Marcus Jackson
Fumio Daemura: "(This match is scheduled for one fall at a sixty minute time limit and is for the Interim J-ROK New Wave Championship. Introducing first the challenger, Anna Daniels and her challenger, the REIGNING DEFENDING Interim J-ROK New Wave Champion… Marcus Jackson!)"
Psycho KGB: "(This is his first big challenge. Anna Daniels is a long time member of the roster and an accomplished star in the tag team scene, winning the tag team triple crown in JROK alongside Lisa Sheldon.)"
MUSHI: "(Winning the XHF, JROK and IJWF tag team titles, not to mention being the inaugural winners of the Sakura Tag League, Daniels knows a thing about getting results. She held this title for a brief time just a few years ago.)"
Psycho KGB: "(Marcus Jackson is no slouch in getting results done either. Being apart of the BostonNewwark connection in MCCW. He beat Jack Gaines in a tournament final to win this belt here, and he's looking to defend it for the first time tonight!)"
The match would start off with a slow build. Both would lock up and chain wrestle. The veteran, Daniels, would get the advantage early on. Locking in holds and submissions on Jacksons legs. Jackson would make distance, rolling out of the ring.
Daniels doesn't waste time. Diving to the outside with a hurricarana to Marcus. Both crash and burn as the referee begins the 20 count.
After 8 both are back and chopping one another. Jackson whips her into the guard rail. Anna leaps onto it and goes for another rana. Jackson catches her and powerbombs her into the apron spine first. Marcus throws her into the ring and goes for a cover.
ONE!
TWO!!
THR-
Kick out by Daniels. Marcus works the back with stomps and knees. She clutches her back with one arm and swipes the legs of Jackson with the other. She rolls him up with a flash pin but gets a one count.
Both back to their feet, Dropkick at the same time. They land on their feet and go for lariats. They clash and try round house kicks. They kick each other's legs, backing up. Jackson with a punch, Anna ducks and hits a tiger Suplex. And then another one. Ending it with the Australian Suplex and a beautiful bridge and pin.
Psycho KGB: "(Threeish Doctors! And the pin!)"
ONE!
TWO!!
THRE-
KICK OUT!
Marcus gets out and makes distance, taking another approach to the match he goes for a headlock. Trying to slow things down a little and dictate the pace of the match. Daniels isn't having it and manages to slip free and throw some quick strikes.
Anna with kicks, Marcus with punches, this looks more like a street fight than wrestling match. The two brawl for a little longer, before Jackson unleashes a series of combo punches and kicks. Daniels ducks a side kick and goes for the Brazilian kick. Interrobang misses and Jackson runs the ropes. He hits his down with the fallen leg lariat for the win.
Fumio Daemura: "(Your winner of this match and STILL INTERIM JROK NEW WAVE CHAMPION… Marcus Jackson!)"

Fumio Demura: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a TAIPEI DEATH MATCH for the XHF HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP! This match will have a sixty minute time limit! A winner will be decided either by pinfall, submission, or a referee’s decision that a competitor cannot continue!”
Psycho KGB: “This is a rematch that Steve Awesome requested. Following that hellacious battle at Phantom of Guilt in their Barb wire rope and landmine death match; we know all too well how these two feel about one another. Long has captured the XHF Hardcore championship and vows to make it a reign that is worthy of historic proportions.”
MUSHI: “On the other hand, Steve wants that championship so that he has a place on the card come XHF’s Night of Champions in July. Both men have their strengths and could walk away tonight as the Hardcore champion. We know it’s going to be bloody, as you will notice there is a glue dipping container and a box of shattered glass ringside. Both athletes will have to dip their taped fists in the glass before this bout begins.”
Psycho KGB: “Not only that, but the JROK ring crew are dumping broken glass all around the ringside area besides the front where the steel steps are. Fans are hyped to see this bloodsport match begin!”
Fumio Demura: “Introducing first! Hailing from Detroit, Michigan! Tonight he weighs in at two hundred and thirty three pounds! Known worldwide as the “FACE OF THE FRANCHISE” —- STEEEEEVE AWWWEEEESSSSOOOME!”
All the lights in the dome die out and the fans in attendance start chanting his name.
"AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME!"
Dramatic Pause.
"REGRETS I'VE HAD MINE!"
The lights in the arena explode to life as they flash green and black to the beat as Steve Awesome comes running out with intensity to the hyped up chorus of "Full of Regrets" by Danko Jones.
‘Lonely nights/ and a whole lot of wasted time!
If you see her wont you tell her for me/
It's better this way to avoid all the misery’
The chorus plays again as Steve walks down to the ring. Walking around the ring, Steve goes to the table set up for the Taipei dipping ceremony, and proceeds to dip both taped fists in the glue and then the glass. Raising them up to his face, he eyes the brilliant shards of broken glass as he does an almost ear cup (inches away from his actual ear) to get a fan reaction. Walking up the steps, he steps inside the ring. The guitar starts soloing and Steve provocatively slips off his jacket and then spins and drops into a kneel and he flexes his arms. He gets a slow motion effect as pyro sprays behind him. The music fades out as he takes to his corner.
Fumio Demura: “Introducing the opponent! He is the reigning XHF HARDCORE CHAMPION! wrestling out of Wexford Town, County Wexford, Ireland and weighing in tonight at two hundred and fourteen pounds… THE LAST BREATHING MERCENARY… JAAAAASOOOONNNNNNN LOOOOOOOOONNGGGGGGGG!!!!”
There’s a moment of silence inside of the arena as the crowd awaits for the next match, but then the lights inside of the arena dim to darkness and the crowd sit in silence, but then they hear the words speaking through the P.A. System and that signals for them to begin cheering upon knowing who it might be:
“TAKE ALL MY MONEY
TAKE ALL MY MONEY, HONEY
TAKE ALL MY MONEY AND BLOW (BLOW, BLOW)”
The crowd inside of the building began to cheer loudly as the vocals of “Blow” begin to play through the speakers, the lights beginning to spiral around the arena before bringing them all around onto the stage where The Last Breathing Mercenary steps through the curtain, a large grin along his face as he stops at the top of the ramp and looks around the arena. The camera panned closer toward the man as he began his slow walk down to the ring, soaking in every second that the crowd showed their love for Long.
Long finds himself at ringside as his ring introduction is made, taking a moment to stand there and take a deep breath before turning to walk over to the steps and over to the table where the glue and glass was. Fists taped up, Jason rips them in the glue and then the glass. Holding his hands up to show the crowd, he was ready to get the taipei death match on with Steve Awesome! His entrance theme fades out as Jason enters the ring and takes to his corner. The XHF Hardcore championship is handed to the referee, who proceeds to hold it high in the air to showcase the reason these two were about to brutalize one another into bloody pulps.
Psycho KGB: “This one is under way!“
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Steve careful with his hands mocks Jason and mouths something that sounds like “you got lucky last time” but is met immediately with a swinging right from the champion Long. Ducking the right, Steve smashes Jason in the side of his hip with a returning right jab and ducks behind him to grab the shoulders and attempt a waist lock. Long breaks it quickly, but not before being cut open on the waist.
Psycho KGB: “And the blood begins to flow! We knew this would be a crimson mess of a rematch, and that’s why JROK management has hired paramedics to be on hand here at ringside for the aftermath.”
MUSHI: “The Hardcore champion strikes back with a jab to the shoulder of Awesome. Long not holding anything back to retain his new championship, now grabbing Steve by the wrist and hip tossing him into the center of the ring.”
Jason comes off the ropes and soccer kicks Awesome in the spine, sending the fans into a frenzy as they cheer for the champ. Awesome rolls out of the way of a stomp and gets to a knee. Superkick! Blocked by Long! Steve’s eyes wide open as he thought for sure that would work, but Long scouted it and hits a spinning wheel kick as Awesome hops on one leg. Long goes for a cover but barely gets the one count before Awesome shoves him off.
Jason rolls through into the corner and springboards off the second turnbuckle to deliver a flying back elbow to the rising Steve! Knocked into next week, Steve takes all of it and ends up in the opposite corner in a sitting position. Jason hits the ropes and comes running full speed to deliver a kick to the side of the head that sees spit fly from the Face of the Franchise’s face into the front row!
MUSHI: “Those poor fans just took a bath in the Hollywood actors' bodily fluids.”
Psycho KGB: “I’m sure that’s not the first time for some of Steve Awesome’s fans. Long in firm control in the early on. Lifting Steve up on the turnbuckle — Ooooh!”
Awesome with a kick to the face and then a jumping punch that connects with the right cheek of Jason! Blood spills as Jason hits the canvas and reaches for his face in agony. Awesome with quickness grabs Long by the boots and begins to put on a sharpshooter!
Psycho KGB: “A submission in a Taipei death match? I didn’t think I would ever see it but here we are folks. Awesome has Long turned over and the champion is in serious trouble!”
MUSHI: “Jason claws the mat. With every inch he loses some glass and has to crawl through it. The ring canvas is beginning to look like a blood sport tribute painting with blood and shimmers of glass everywhere.”
Reaching the ropes, the referee calls for Awesome to break the hold which he is reluctant to do. After a three and half count the Face of the Franchise lets go of the sharpshooter and stomps Jason’s back for good measure. Awesome kicks Jason under the bottom rope and with a good final kick sends the Hardcore champion to the outside floor. Following suit, Steve hops out of the ring and grabs Jason by the neck, blood trickles down his shoulders, before Jason gets sent into the steel steps head first!
Psycho KGB: “A vicious Steve Awesome retakes control and shows Jason Long what made him the Hardcore champion in the first place.”
MUSHI: “Both of these men make pain look like a welcomed state of mind. Hardly a flinch from either of them as they swing those glass fists at the other.”
Awesome panders to the crowd and takes notice of a beautiful vixen in the first row wearing a shirt with his face on it. He leans against the barricade to flirt with her. A punch to the back of the head sends him into her lap, as a crimson faced Jason Long comes back with a vengeance. Pulling Steve back over the barricade by his long hair, Jason stops half way and leaves Steve so his feet are still in the front row but his stomach lays on the barricade. Taking a steel chair, Jason heads to the steel steps he was just rammed into and walks up to the top before jumping off and placing the chair under his butt. Jason hits a leg drop using the chair across the upper back of Steve!
MUSHI: “A move like that is why these two thrive in hardcore matches. Long wears his own blood like a mask but it’s Steve who is seeing the effects of that chair leg drop as he squirms on the outside ring area clenching his back.”
Jason grabs his tailbone as he gets up, obviously feeling the effects of his unique offense. Rolling Steve onto the apron, Jason grabs Awesome by the neck and puts him in a headlock. Immediately he begins punching away at the skull of Steve, and grinds his glass fist in the hairline of the Face of the Franchise! Steve slides off the apron and begins throwing punches to the abdomen and back of Long until he releases the headlock. Both men upright, swinging on one another like boxers in the twelfth round looking for the final knockout punch!
Psycho KGB: “We have ourselves a fight! Blood flings all over the ringside area as these two go back and forth looking to finish off the other.”
MUSHI: “Steve with a low blow in the form of a soccer kick stops Jason dead in his tracks!”
Smiling through his own crimson mask, Steve uses the ring apron and leaps forward hooking the neck of Long. Steve delivers a modified neck breaker onto the steel steps to Jason! Wiping his hair back, now a matted mess from the glass punches to his skull earlier, Steve’s face changes from happy to irritated. The cool hand Luke of XHF lifts Jason from the steel steps and pushes him under the bottom rope.
Psycho KGB: “Here comes the reserve tank as Steve pushes to find the finish line and recapture the XHF Hardcore championship.”
MUSHI: “Steve Awesome has a decorated resume that grows every year. In just the past few years he has been a champion in REIGN, Northern Pro Wrestling, and has added championships in XHF along with wins with the BANG Bros in Call to Arms. Battling for the Hardcore championship may have been seen as a demotion for the uncommon fan, but trust me when I say Steve takes pride in every title he fights for. When Steve wears gold, he raises the value of that division and draws challengers far and wide.”
Psycho KGB: “Sounds like your quite the fan partner. That is all true, but don’t short change Jason Long here either. Thirty four championships won in his career. A former X*Crown champion and a two time XHF tag team champion, not to forget an AWF Hall of Famer. Jason is no stranger to success and while the cards tonight are not falling his way, or at least at this moment - he should never be overlooked. Jason has found ways to win in fights that he had no business winning, and tonight we could see that happen with a comeback.”
Steve climbs the top rope, flaunting to the fans with a pose as he admires the view with one foot on the top rope. He takes just a moment too long and is caught by Jason who hits a belly-to-belly suplex from the top rope! Jason lays motionless as Steve flops hard on the canvas nearly in the opposite corner of the ring. The referee has no idea what to do, as there are no count outs and a winner must be decided per the rules of tonight’s bout. Fans rise from their seats in a frenzy chanting for Jason Long. The reigning XHF Hardcore champion tapped into the reserve tank and dug deep to pull off the change in momentum, but at what price? Was it all he had left? No pinfall, no movement at all as Long lay there looking up at the lights.
Psycho KGB: “And a finger goes up! We have life from the champion!”
Jason’s hand raises straight up as he points to the arena rafters. Like an old man finding his way out of bed, Jason rises from the canvas, bit by bit, until he stands again! Bending over in the corner, Jason ushers for Steve to get up, ready to put the final nail in his coffin as he stomps the foot and hit the Vanity Killer. Steve begins stirring, pushing himself up with the taped glass fists from the canvas. Both men are a gory mess from their brutal battle this evening at Jam Sessions 19. Inch by inch, Steve rises, facing the canvas, and Jason comes in for the curb stomp to end the match!
Psycho KGB: “DODGED?!”
Rolling out of the way, Steve played possum and it worked as he gets behind Jason and positions himself, SUPERKICK! Hitting the ropes as Jason stumbles around trying to keep his balance after the hellacious kick, Steve Awesome comes back and executes his trademark Steve-KO! Hooking the leg, Steve wastes zero time going for the cover.
One!
MUSHI: “Steve puts both feet on the middle rope for leverage! This dirty tactic can’t be how this one ends, not this way!”
Two!
Three!
Dropping off the second rope, Steve secures the win by any means necessary. Stealing the XHF Hardcore Championship back from Jason Long after a brutal Taipei death match!
Psycho KGB: “Steve with the steal of the century tonight in JROK, taking advantage of the referee’s position to use the ropes and get the pin.”
MUSHI: “A heart breaker for Jason Long and this Japanese audience who were rooting him on. You can feel the deflation as these fans boo Steve Awesome as he receives the championship and has his arm raised.”
Fumio Demura: “Winner of this match by pin fall, and NEEEEEEW XHF HARDCORE CHAMPION - Steve Awesome!”
Fans are unhappy with the result after what was a barbaric exchange of glass taped fists and surprisingly wresting maneuver heavy entertainment here at Jam Sessions main event of the night. Steve Awesome takes to the top rope and holds the championship high in the air, soaking in the choir of boos like he has always done, knowing that he accomplished what he set out to do tonight.
