Hello everyone!
In July of 2001 the XHF was born (well, the first board was made anyway). In deference to that birthday we like to go all out in July ever year! In the XHF era this meant two PPVs, the Birthday Show on July 9th and Overheated at the end of the month, both of these were usually big events. Meanwhile, in March we'd have our WrestleMania-like show, Night of Champions (we did it before the WWE!). In the Network era we combine ALL of these into a killer July! So come celebrate the XHF's anniversary with us as we rock out in the month of July!
Known Fed PPVs: (Will update as more information comes in)
July 9th - The XHF Birthday Show (Greatest Underappreciated Network Superstars)
July 11th- Irish Rage in Belfast (Hardkore World)
July 23rd - TOW 15: Nomad/Thespian vs Merric/Ishimori (Tap Out Wrestling)
July 24th - The Revolution (Wrestle: United Kingdom)
July 29th - Diamond Mine II (Diamond Training Facility)
XHF Network Global Shows:
July 16th - Overheated
July 30th - Night of Champions
...So what are these shows?
Overheated is the pre-show to Night of Champions. It used to be the actual July PPV back in the XHF era but when we moved NoC to July it took that role. As such it's sort of a PPV unto itself, featuring singles matches to determine who makes it to the NoC main event as well as any interfed/blood feuds that people would like to run (though you'll need to find your own bookers/writers for those).
This year for Overheated the XHF Network will be hosting a STREET PARTY in the barrio as we take to the streets of East Harlem, New York on July 16th! It's gonna be a hot one so get some cervezas and prepare for a great time!
The Overheated theme song this year is "Tu Y Yo" by Thalia
Official Fed Reps at Overheated: (will update as reps are announced)
Esmeralda von Kruass (Wrestle: United Kingdom)
Florida Man (Japanese Renaissance of Kakuto)
Steve Awesome (Hardkore World)
Lord Dominicus (Competitive Automotive Racing)
Esmur (Sin City Championship Wrestling)
BEEF (Diamond Training Facility)
Sam Sawyer (Tap Out Wrestling)
LiLi (Dinosaur Bones)
Night of Champions is our Superbowl. It's the big "season ender" of the year (with EoD being the season opener, so to speak). Night of Champions features fed world title matches and matches for the XHF-branded titles (even if they're not world titles and fed-specific). It also obviously sports an exciting multi-man match for the X*Crown Championship! Along with that, this year at Night of Champions will be CRUISERFEST- a big multi-man for the lighter guys as they try to pry the Junior Heavyweight Championship from the current champion!
This year's Night of Champions theme is GOLD, and in step with that our main event will be a "Throne of Gold" Match- a spinoff of the Throne of Blood match, but gold themed.
Also in line with the GOLD theme will be our location, the Central Savings Bank in New York City
And the theme song of Night of Champions 14 is "Gold on the Ceiling" by the Black Keys
So what does all this mean to you?
FED OWNERS: YOU HAVE UNTIL JUNE 30TH TO GIVE ME YOUR FED REPRESENTATIVE FOR OVERHEATED. THIS PERSON NEEDS TO RP IN ORDER TO WIN THEIR MATCH, WHICH WOULD GET THEM TO QUALIFY FOR THE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS MAIN EVENT AND GIVE YOUR FED A CHANCE TO TAKE THE X*CROWN. IF ANY FED OWNERS ASK ME ABOUT THE DATE I WILL JUST KEEP LINKING YOU TILL YOU READ THIS POST. Also! If your fed is running a PPV in July, let me know and I'll add it to the list! Let's get that hype train moving!
Network Members: Overheated, Night of Champions, and July in general is a great time to go all out and show everyone what you can do! Don't shy away from taking part in global events, they're a chance to display your character to everyone else who's not inside your circle and raise your name value (even if you lose- which odds are on you will considering the NoC main event is a multi-man). Or, even if you don't take a representative slot for your fed or participate in Cruiserfest, get in a feud! Go find somebody you've wanted to have a blow-off match with and figure out a writer and a booker and get that shiz on Overheated! OR, if your fed is running a July PPV, GO BALLS TO THE WALLS. We only have 4 big events per year so take them as opportunities to strut your stuff when everyone is looking.
MAV: You signed up for both NoC and Overheated graphics. Wooo for us! Yay for you!
HAVE FUN, GUYS.
You may now return to your normally scheduled hyping or rping or whatever you do online.
