It’s a warm summer’s day. “The High Roller” Wesley Crane is walking in the rose garden outside his Casino. He has Katie Moss walking with him, hand in hand. They get to a beautiful section of roses. Katie squeezes Wesley’s hand.
Katie Moss: “Those are breathtaking.”
Wesley reaches over and breaks off one of the bright red roses. He then turns and hands it to Katie. She smiles from ear to ear.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “A beautiful rose for a beautiful woman. While the rose is beautiful, it isn’t as beautiful as you are.”
Katie can’t stop smiling.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I think we need to find a nice shade tree that we can sit under. How about that one over there?”
Katie Moss: “It looks like a wonderful spot to me.”
Wesley and Katie walk to the tree. Wesley just stands there. Katie looks at him, wondering if there is anything wrong with him.
Katie Moss: “What’s the matter, Wesley?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Wait for it…”
Suddenly, two waiters come walking toward them. Katie gets another smile on her face when she sees that the waiters are carrying a picnic basket and a tray filled with some sort of food. The one waiter also has a blanket over his arm.
Katie Moss: “What’s all this?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Well, you said you loved picnics… so I thought I’d do something nice for you.”
Katie Moss: “I love it. Thank you.”
When the waiters get to them, the one waiter lays the blanket on the ground and places the picnic basket next to it. Wesley and Katie both take a seat on the blanket. The other waiter leans down with the tray of food.
Waiter: “Just what you ordered sir.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Thank you. You can sit that down right here.”
The waiters turn and walk away. Wesley grabs the covering on the tray and pulls it off to reveal a tray full of tacos. Katie’s face lights up.
Katie Moss: “You remembered my favorite food is tacos. You’ve really gone all out for this little date. I’m impressed.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Anything to make you happy.”
Katie has already grabbed a taco and is going to town, eating like a champ. Wesley gets a grin on his face.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “How are they?”
Katie has a mouth full of food so instead of speaking, she gives her approval by giving a thumbs up. Once she has swallowed, she takes the date a different direction.
Katie Moss: “So let’s talk about Kalmin Watts.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “What about him?”
Katie Moss: “He had some pretty harsh words about you. He seems ready for a war. He says he’s going to take Naomi away from you.”
Wesley reaches over to the picnic basket and opens it. Inside is his WUK World Championship, AKA Naomi. He lays his championship on his lap.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “There’s never been another love story as special as the story of Wesley Crane and Naomi. What can I say, we are the perfect match. She’s perfect for me and I’m perfect for her. The bond we’ve created can never be broken. It wasn’t broken by Fowler, it wasn’t broken by Rob Riot or Eddie Havok or Goth or Armand or Ronnie Long… and it sure as hell hasn’t been broken by Kalmin Watts.”
Katie Moss: “Kalmin is built differently though. He’s hungry, Wesley. He’s a serious threat to your World Championship.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Built differently, yes, I agree. He’s 6 foot 6 and weighs 260lbs… and that means absolutely nothing when you’re inside the ring with “The High Roller” Wesley Crane. I’ve been inside the ring with Kalmin plenty of times to know what he’s all about… and the fact of the matter is that Kalmin just isn’t as good as Wesley Crane. The sooner that hick learns that, the better we will all be.”
Katie Moss: “The better you’ll all be?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “When will he learn? Look, I’ll be better because I won’t have to deal with that cockroach anymore. Naomi will be better because she won’t need to worry about Kalmin getting his grubby hands on her and Kalmin will be better off because after I beat him, again… maybe he will let this thing he has against me go. Honestly, it’s pretty pathetic. He is a spotlight hog… but he can’t have the spotlight all to himself… no, he knows he’s not good enough so he does all he can to attach his name to Wesley Crane. He knows I’ll make him famous. Fuck, being in the ring with me will make anyone famous… for a few minutes while I beat the piss out of them. It’s going to be no different this time. Kalmin will enter the ring with me and then he will get his ass kicked like every other time we’ve been in the ring. Facts are facts, Katie… and the fact is that Kalmin Watts is a pathetic excuse for a wrestler.”
Katie Moss: “Well, it sure seems like you’re fired up for this match.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I am. I’m ready for Kalmin Watts… I’m ready to shut his hillbilly ass up once and for all… but for now, fuck Kalmin Watts… It's time to eat some tacos, drink a couple of Coronas and enjoy each other's company.”
Katie Moss: “I like the sound of that.”
The scene fades out as Wesley hands Katie another taco.
Katie Moss: “Those are breathtaking.”
