We open the scene to find the suite of Nicholas “Honest” Cage. The room is smokey, from all the “dank weed” that Nic’s been smoking. He sits on the couch with a monster bong in front of him. He takes a huge bong hit and starts to couch. Suddenly there is a knock at the door. Nic immediately looks paranoid. He crouches down and yells out…
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “Who’s there?”
Voice: “It’s the police.”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: (to himself) “Oh shit. I’m fucked.”
Not remembering that smoking marijuana is legal in New York State, he is more paranoid now than ever. Still, he knows he needs to get the door so he walks to the door, waving his hands the entire time, trying to get the smoke to clear up. He gets to the door, turns to look at the room, sees all the smoke still there, shrugs his shoulders and then opens the door. To his surprise, standing there is “The High Roller” Wesley Crane’s personal assistant, Henderson. Henderson has a huge smile on his face.
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “Henderson, you’re a police officer now?”
Going out of character, Henderson gets a huge smile on his face, knowing he’s doing a great job of messing with the stoner.
Henderson: “Mr. Crane wants to see you immediately.”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “Oh shit. Right now? You sure we can’t wait a couple of hours?”
Henderson: (looking serious again) “Yes, right now. It’s important.”
Henderson and Nic both head for Wesley Crane’s Presidential Suite. Once there, Nicholas waits for Henderson to walk in first. He’s clearly stoned and waiting for Wesley to call him out on it. Inside the suite, Wesley is dressed to impress as he stands at his personal bar. He has a glass of whiskey in his left hand. On the bar sits his WUK World Championship, also known as “Naomi”... Wesley takes a sip from his glass and then addresses Henderson and Nicholas.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Thank you, Henderson. That’ll be all for now.”
Henderson nods, turns and exits the suite. Wesley then looks at Nicholas.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Bro, how high are you?”
Wesley gives Nicholas a grin. Knowing that he’s in the clear and his boss isn’t pissed at him, he starts talking away.
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “What can I do for you, boss?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I need to ask you a favor.”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “Anything. You name it, it’s yours.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I need you to be in my corner when I face Kalmin. He’s desperate to beat me and I don’t trust him having Anthony Jordan in his corner. I have no concerns about you being in my corner because I know if Anthony Jordan gets involved that you’re going to show him what it’s like to cross The High Rollers Club.”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “You can count on me, Wesley. I’ve been in my brother's corner many times in our careers. I know what needs to happen to keep things in order. Don’t you worry about anything. I remember one time when I was in Andre The Giant’s corner at a house show in Las Vegas.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “That must have been wild.”
Wesley knows it’s impossible for Nic “Honest” Cage to have ever been in the corner of Andre The Giant, but he carries on with the conversation.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Good, so now that I know you’re going to be in my corner, I can breathe a little easier.”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “You said Kalmin is desperate. Does that worry you at all? Desperate times call for desperate measures.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Well, while I agree that desperate times can call for desperate measures, the fact is that Kalmin Watts just isn’t as good as I am. So while I could be worried, the fact is, Kalmin is nothing to worry about. He’s tried and tried and tried to defeat me, but it just doesn’t happen. Sometimes in life, you can’t be what you put your mind to. Sometimes in life, you’re just not better than someone else. Now, I’ve never run into that problem. The only one on one match I’ve lost was because a bastard cheap shotted me and picked up a tainted win. Other than that, I’m undefeated. I’m just better than everyone else. Kalmin can try and try all he wants, but inside the squared circle I’m just better than he is. The sooner he grasps this reality the sooner we can all move on. Honestly, it’s pretty sad that we’re having this match at all. I’m going to have to show him, once again, that he’s not good enough to beat me.”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “You totally got this one in the bag. You’re going to beat him clean, just like you’ve done every other time you’ve been in a match together.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I agree. Couldn’t have said it any better. So let him try to get Anthony Jordan involved. He can do his best to pull a fast one on me, but it will not happen. I’m entering the match as the Wrestle:UK World Champion and after the match is over, my hand will be raised and you’ll hear over the speakers, “AND STILL WUK World Champion, “The High Roller” Wesley Crane. Now, I’ll let you get back to your suite. Thanks for your assistance, Nic!”
