Match One: J-ROK Eight Man Tag Team Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
Wolf Fang Ayame, Momoko Honda, & Death Startling (Anna Daniels & Fukushima Zombie) Vs. RIONA, Esmerelda Kanyon, Gulag, & CJ Walker
Wolf Fang Ayame, Momoko Honda, & Death Startling (Anna Daniels & Fukushima Zombie) Vs. RIONA, Esmerelda Kanyon, Gulag, & CJ Walker
This would be a fast paced action packed match. Not a minute would go by without some sort of high end offence. RIONA and Kanyon would be the main two who'd get most of the offense for their team. Having the match won on a few occasions, if not for pins being broken up or rope breaks. Zombie and Daniels would use their experience to help their team gain control in the middle stages of the match. We'd see a lot of great tag team moves from them as well. Honda would try to work on Walker, but would get thrown and beaten down, untill she would come off the top ropes for a vicious dropkick. The match would end with Wolf hitting her heavens howl on Gulag for the win.
Fumio Daemura: "(Your winner of this match, Wolf Fang Ayame, Momoko Honda, & Death Startling!)"
Alexandra stood next to Mark Storm in the Heroes 4 Hire locker room, the two had been talking prior to the camera’s entering the room. Strike 2 Kill are both stretching, while Shinobu is in the corner with his headphones on. Alexandra takes a moment, placing her hand on Storm's shoulder before starting to speak.
Alexandra Calaway: “We’ve all got very big matches tonight. There cannot be any room for mistakes. Strike 2 kill, I have your back out there. Between the three of us, we can win this match. And after that match, I plan on coming out there and standing by your side Mark, while you and Shinobu fight.”
Richardson rubs his chin, inquisitive as he looks toward Calaway.
Liam Richardson: “Alexandra Calaway… who would’ve thought, eh? Hosting our team meetings now, I’ve gotta say, I wasn’t expecting this.”
Miles Watson: “Nor was I… especially after our match over in New Frontier, Alex. You pushed me to my level and earned my respect because of that. It’s an honor to be fighting alongside you tonight.”
Liam Richardson: “Like he said, just cause I wasn’t expecting it, doesn’t mean I’m not a fan. We’ll get the job done tonight, for sure. Welcome to the group!”
The duo nod their heads towards Calaway, making their respect known.
Mark Storm: “Nice to see everybody playing happy family. Tonight, it’s our chance to continue making history. Strike 2 Kill, I know y'all have been itching for a spot on the card, waiting for an opportunity, well here it is. Those Super Duo’s titles are still in sight and after tonight, you’ll be one step closer to them. Shimada on the other-hand, has the chance to become the JROK Interim New Wave Champion. The first double champion in the group, and that shouldn’t go without mention. He’s been a brother to us all, a leader, a warrior. And tonight, he’ll add another title to our list of accolades… this is only just the beginning, guys. Next month, the King of Hokkaido tournament takes place. Alex and I will be representing the Heroes for Hire, and I promise you, one of us is walking out of Hokkaido with that crown, no matter what!”
The group applauds as Storm finishes his sentence.
Match Two: J-ROK Trios Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
Strike 2 Kill & Alexandra Calloway Vs. SKY Force (Tabby Scratch, Shizuku Yamamoto, & Charles)
Strike 2 Kill & Alexandra Calloway Vs. SKY Force (Tabby Scratch, Shizuku Yamamoto, & Charles)
This would be a fairly simple story. Both trios had to prove their worth. With SKY Force still recovering from their big loss last year and this variation of Heroes 4 Hire would need to show their just as tough as the others. Each team would showcase incredible skills with high flying and brawling action mixed into double and triple team moves.
SKY Force would have the match nearly won with some trick from the flying feline, Charles and his sister Tabby. Alexandra would break the pin and eventually get tagged in. She would finish off the match with a spin kick and apocalypse last ride powerbomb on Charles for the win.
Fumio Daemura: “(Your winners of this match, Alexandra Calloway and Strike 2 Kill!)”
The scene opens with two thirds of the JROK Trio's Champions, Mark Storm and Takashi Shinobu, standing in the backstage area.
STORM: The Golden Ace and Your Hero and Mine, The Golden Storm, baby!
Storm pops from enthusiasm.
STORM: Yes, you heard it here first.
Shinobu processes the ordeal.
SHINOBU: The Golden Storm...
STORM: The Golden Storm!
SHINOBU: I like it -
STORM: Well ofourse you like it Takashi, it's a Golden Storm, what's not to like!
They pause, there's an awkward silence...
STORM: Forget about that, and think about this, together, we're unstoppable. Together, we're unbeatable. Together, we're capable of anything, kid! And we're going straight to the moon and back, I'll tell you now, The Golden Storm are about to take J-ROK by storm... put that on a t-shirt!
The duo continue down the corridors as the scene gradually fades out.
Match Three
J-ROK Tag Team Rules
30 Minute Time Limit
Zolothach & Randy Angel w/Kris Quake Vs. Berreta Blade & Johnny Sniper
Fumio Demura: “The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL and has a time limit of thirty minutes! This match will follow tag team rules!”
MUSHI: “The XHF Tag Champions involved but not defending in this next bout. Wonder how Randy Angel and Zolothach will be able to work together, having little to no experience in tag matches together?“
Psycho KGB: “Berreta Blade and Sniper have their hands full, but I have a feeling they may just upset one half of the XHF Tag Team Champions tonight. Sniper has been confident coming into tonight's show, and confidence translates to victories. “
Fumio Demura: “The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL and has a time limit of thirty minutes! This match will follow tag team rules!”
MUSHI: “Welcome to Jam Sessions twenty folks! If you’re just tuning in, the following match is sure to be a fun one to watch with two mixed tag teams facing off. “
Psycho KGB: “One half of the XHF Tag Team Champions in Randy Angel will team with Zolothach to take on Beretta Blade and Johnny Sniper. This one has all the makings of a sure fire hit for this momentous night.“
Fumio Demura: “Introducing first hailing from Paris, Illinois! Weighing in this evening at 165 pounds! The wrecker of worlds, the wild card of women, ladies and gentlemen – “ZOLOTHACH” TABITHA OSBORNE! “
“Cthulhu” by Gunship begins playing as torches all along the entranceway and aisle light up. “Zolothach” Tabitha Osborne walks out from the back with a wide grin as she takes in the boos from the crowd. She heads down to the ring with a sexy swagger (but she looks like a corpse so not very many catcalls). She rolls into the ring and leans in her corner.
Fumio Demura: “Introducing their partner! One half of the XHF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Hailing from a local bar! Weighing in this evening at 200 pounds! Here is – RANDY ANGEL!“
"My Own Worst Enemy" by Lit hits and out walks Randy Angel with Kris Quake beside him. The XHF Tag Team championships strapped over their shoulders as they cheers with two brown paper bags in their hands. The Super Sake Presents: Off The Wagon duo make their way to the ring.
Fumio Demura: “Introducing the challengers! Hailing from Parris Island, South Carolina! Weighing in this evening at 217 pounds! He is known as the ‘One Shot Killer’ – JOHNNY SNIPER! “
“Jonny Sniper” by Enter Shikari plays and out walks Johnny Sniper. Making his way to the ringside area.
Fumio Demura: “Introducing their partner! Hailing from West Newbury, Massachusetts! Weighing in this evening at 130 pounds! Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for – BERETTA BLADE!“
“Whatever It Takes” by Imagine Dragons hits and out comes Beretta Blade with a passion that is seen in her sprint to the ring.
Psycho KGB: “Wasting no time, these four are in the ring and getting the rules laid out by tonight’s referee. “
DING! Ding! Ding!
Zolothach and Beretta Blade begins things for their teams. Randy Angel gets the crowd active with a clap from the apron as Kris Quake stands behind him hyping up his partner and his respective team for tonight’s tag team bout. The reigning XHF Tag Team Champions not in action this evening but showing their solidarity for one another either way.
Blade and Zolo lockup and push one another back and forth fighting for dominance. Zolo with a knee to Blade into a wrist lock, quickly goes behind Blade and locks on a hammerlock. Blade drops her center of gravity and breaks the hold with a hip thrust backwards, and snap mares Zolo over and locks on a reverse chin lock.
MUSHI: “The back and forth exchange in the early going is on full display between these two. Zolothach and Beretta Blade showing the fans their technical prowess.”
Psycho KGB: “Zolothach breaks the chin lock and stands up. Blade with a kick to the thigh, Zolo with a return kick! Fans cheering each kick as these two blast each other with all they have!”
Zolo dodges and rolls under a high roundhouse kick from Blade, Zolo proceeds to spring off the ropes looking for a bulldog. Blade ducks the move and grabs the neck of Zolo and drops Zolo neck first on her knee! Beretta with a quick cover.
One!
Tw-
Kick out!
Blade slaps the canvas in frustration and grabs Zolo by the leg, wrenching the knee before dropping a knee of her own on the inner thigh of Zolo. Dragging Zolo to her corner, Blade makes a quick tag to Johnny Sniper. The referee forces Sniper to hold up and let’s Zolothach exit the ring and Randy Angel takes over as this mixed tag team match continues.
Psycho KGB: “Usually we see the men and women mingle here in JROK, but this match was set with inter gender rules tonight. Due to that, the men will only be allowed to fight the men, and the women can only fight the women.”
MUSHI: “Not uncommon to see elsewhere in the XHF, but in JROK it certainly isn’t commonplace. With our women having just as strong of a presence in all the title divisions. JROK provides equal opportunity no matter sex, religion, or race.”
Randy bounces over the top rope and rushes Johnny Sniper, but Sniper ducks the clothesline and hits an uppercut as Randy turns around. Randy rebounds off the ropes from the momentum of the uppercut and is sent high into the air by Johnny Sniper before landing chest first on the canvas. Sniper ascends the second rope in a nearby corner and sets his sights on one half of the XHF Tag Team Champions before leaving the ropes and spinning to hit a perfectly timed elbow to the forehead of Randy Angel! Sniper hooks the leg for a cover.
One!
T—
Randy kicks out with authority!
Psycho KGB: “Sniper focused like a soldier here as he takes the mission of winning very seriously. A win for these two could easily put them in talks for a run at the XHF or JROK Tag team championships.”
MUSHI: “That’s a tall mountain to climb with the talent of Jack Gaines and Brendan Harding, Heroes 4 Hire, SKY Force, and Off the Wagon in this division. However you make a valid point, it would prove that Sniper and Blade have what it takes to step in the ring with the champs. I would think a few more wins may be needed for that to happen though.”
Randy sideswipes Sniper’s leg with a sweeping kick and follows up by dropping all his weight on the chest of Sniper as he hits a senton splash. Randy seems upset with how Sniper took him off guard and is looking to redeem himself as he lifts Sniper up and sends him to the ropes. Ducking, Randy looks for the back body drop but Johnny Sniper hooks the arms and instead Tiger suplexes Randy into a pin attempt!
One!
Two!
Kick out!
Randy slaps the mat, now outraged as he gets up. Sniper steps up and locks on a waist lock from behind, trying to lift Randy off his feet but Randy drops to a knee and rolls through the bottom and middle rope, tangling Sniper up as he exits the ring and escapes the hold. Randy grabs Sniper by the arm and pulls him to the apron under the bottom rope. Smashing the left arm over and over again on the apron before he hears Quake and Zolothach yelling from the opposite side of the ring.
Psycho KGB: “DIVING CROSSBODY FROM BLADE!”
Taking Randy off his feet is Beretta Blade as she sails from the top rope to the outside to clobber Randy and help her partner. Zolothach is done waiting and hops in the ring, running to the ropes furthest from them as Sniper gets up on the apron. Blade runs towards the other turnbuckle, ascending the ropes with grace and agility!
Psycho KGB: “FRONT FLIP CANNONBALL!”
Zolothach knocks Sniper off the apron and the two crash down on Randy Angel and Beretta Blade as they are getting up! The referee begins the count out as all competitors lay on the outside.
1!
2!
3!
4!
Quake yells for Randy to get up and waves a bottle of Super Sake, to which, surprisingly, Randy begins to waiver.
5!
6!
Randy on his knees, Sniper shaking the cobwebs loose.
7!
8!
9!
They both make a leap for the ring apron…
10!
The crowd shows their displeasure as the double count out is signaled by the referee and the match ends.
Fumio Demura: “The following contest has been declared a DRAW due to a double count out!”
Fans continue to boo as Zolothach, Randy Angel, Johnny Sniper, and Beretta Blade standoff at ringside. Zolothach points behind Sniper and this causes Johnny to spin around thinking Quake was behind him. Instead it gives Zolothach a chance to take step up and enziguri Beretta Blade as her attention is diverted! Randy gasps and Quake steps in as Sniper turns around and throws his fists up ready to brawl. JROK security come barreling down the aisles next to the ramp. Within seconds the two teams are separated by a wall of JROK security guards in matching uniforms, with Randy Angel and Quake holding up their XHF Tag Team Championships in the air as Zolothach mockingly waves ‘bye’ at an irate Beretta Blade who is being held back by security.
Backstage the locker room door swings open and into the hallway steps the masked star El Combatiente. We see him smile through the mouth slit of his mask and he begins to walk towards the arena for his match when a voice stops him in his tracks.
“Debería ser yo, no tú.”
(It should be me out there, not you.)
El Combatiente shakes his head and we pan out to see the owner of the voice, a man of similar size and shape with his face wrapped in bandages.
El Combatiente: Ya te lo dije. Te lo devolveré cuando estés listo. Mírate. Todavía estás envuelto en vendas. No estás listo.
(I already told you. I’ll give back when you are ready. Look at you. You are still wrapped in bandages. You are not ready.)
Bandaged Man: No sabes lo que es mejor para mí. No puedes decirme cuándo estoy listo. Dame la máscara.
(You do not know what is best for me. You cannot tell me when I am ready. Give me the mask.)
El Combatiente: No. Ahora, si me disculpan, esa es mi música.
(No. Now if you will excuse me, that is my music.)
El Combatiente pushes passed the bandaged man and heads to the arena as “To Live and Die in L.A.” begins to play.
Bandaged Man: es mi musica.
(It is my music.)
The opening of the TuPac’s “To Live and Die in LA” hits the pa system and El Combatiente follows his manager Javier onto the stage. They look around soaking up there surrounding until El Combatiente breaks into a full sprint for the ring and slides in. Javier slowly walks to ringside and takes his position at ringside as El Combatiente stretches in the ring preparing for his match to begin.
Psycho KGB: The one time Doom Metal Champion takes on his cousin tonight
Mushi: You can’t call them cousins just because they’re both Spanish speakers and wears a mask.
Psycho KGB: No, they’re really related. I’m not being racist this time.
The sounds of Dr. Dre’s “Keep Their Heads Ringin’” begins to play throughout the arena and El Unico Demonio appears on stage. The masked man taunts the crowd before running to the ring and sliding in.
Mushi: How do you know they’re related.
Psycho KGB: It’s in Demonio’s application.
Mushi: Oh.
Match Four: J-ROK Singles Rules; 30 Minute Time Limit
El Unico Demonio Vs. El Combatiente
El Unico Demonio Vs. El Combatiente
The cousins tap hands in the center of the ring and then begin to circle each other. Demonio moves in and El Combatiente takes him over with an arm drag. Demonio is quick back up to his feet and El Combatiente moves in and Demonio takes him over with an arm drag of his own. El Combatiente quickly gets back up and Demonio moves in and again is taken over with an arm drag. El Combatiente attempts to get the jump on Demonio, but El Combatiente is taken over again with an arm drag. Both man quickly get back up to their feet and we’re at a stalemate.
Mushi: Maybe they are cousins, because they seem to know each others every moves.
Psycho KGB: Of course they do, and both just got taken to Arm Drag City.
The two men touch hands again and once again begin to circle until El Combatiente is taken out by a spring board drop kick from out of nowhere! A man with his face wrapped in bandages mounts El Combatiente and begins raining down lefts and rights to the masked man. Demonio tries to grab the bandaged man and pull him off of his cousin, but the bandaged man sends him off with a back elbow. The bandaged man will not let up until security fills the ring and pulls him off.
[Backstage]
A camera comes into focus showing a locker room door with a “Private Room” plaque on the front in Japanese writing.
From the right side of the frame appears a female woman in a clean and proper white and purple attire that accentuates her heart shape face and short auburn hair. A new addition to the JROK staff, as we see her hold up a microphone with the company's abbreviation branded on it. She begins to speak. (Dialogue is translated to English script and appears as subtitles at the bottom of the video footage)
Interviewer: Hello J-ROK fans! (Beaming smile) My name is Eri Sano and this is my first day working as a journalist reporter for this illustrious wrestling company.
The camera pans out to show Eri Sano from the waist up and the door to her left. She steps closer and knocks on the door, before stepping back to the left. A bit of nervousness is evident in her movement and stiffness, but the young reporter appears full of life and excited to do her job. Suddenly the door opens up and the camera sees — Nobody?
Voice: What can we do for you?
Panning down, the camera reveals the three foot something little person wearing black pants, shiny black leather business shoes, and a white dress shirt held up by suspenders. It was none other than Kieran Roth, the agent of the Murder Lizard.
Eri Sano: Mister-uh, Roth, I hope you are having a wonderful evening here at Jam Sessions tonight. If its alright with you, I would like to ask if Jesse Jamester is available for a few questions before his match this evening?
Kieran Roth: One moment please.
Slipping back into the room, the door shuts behind the agent of the King of Violence. A matter of seconds that feel like forever go by before the door reopens and out steps the Murder Lizard himself, Jesse Jamester.
Towering over Erin Sano as he takes his spot next to her and nearly blocks the sight of the door behind him with his enormous size. This was a bulkier, more yoked up version of the Canadian Nightmare that the NPW fans and XHF audience had seen in 2022. Having added nearly twenty five pounds of muscle in his chest, shoulders, arms and back areas, while still maintaining the slender waist and abdomen area that he was known for.
Dressed in a black and red attire this evening, his long tights had the barbed wire lizard logos running up both legs in white with a red outline as the red barbed wire design wrapped up each leg all the way around the waist to where they intertwined to form the double pistols in the form of an X on his crotch. The King of Violence wraps his right wrist up with black athletic tape and finishes the roll on his right hand, before cracking his neck and turning his black scaly mask downward to peer straight into the bright eyes of Eri Sano.
Eri Sano: Mister—
Chiming in with a throat clearing 'MMMhmm'; the camera pans down to Kieran Roth.
Kieran Roth: Please address my client as “The King of Violence,” miss Sano.
Eri Sano: My question, sir, uh- King of Violence, Jesse —- uh, is what was your reasoning for the assault on Fukushima Zombie after your match on the previous Jam Session show? Fans feel you have turned your back on them. Is that the case?
Jesse Jamester: The fans don’t know me, they never have. They think that I did everything for them, but they are mistaken. As for Fukushima Zombie; she was the footnote to kicking off the Tour of Violence here in Japan.
Eri Sano: What does that mean exactly? Should we expect more assaults on wrestlers from you?
Jesse Jamester: The King of Violence does not need to answer this question. You will all have to wait and see what I do when I do it. No further comment.
Eri Sano: As for tonight, you face off against Nausicaa Suzuki in an Orchestra Pit Death match. How does the King of Violence prepare for a match like this?
Jesse Jamester: I relish these type of matches. It makes me feel alive! The world has always seen violence as some sickness that needs cured, but not I. No, the King of Violence sees it as the answer to the world's problems. A good beating will serve a purpose of educating the incompetent. As for the death match, well it has evolved from just barbed wire ropes and C4 explosions. Now, especially here in J-ROK, what they are doing is changing the game and raising the bar. As the King of Violence I come to Japan to put the J-ROK roster through a gauntlet of punishment in a different style of death match each and every show. Tonight, I plan on creating a symphony of destruction with Nausicaa Suzuki as my instrument of choice.
Eri Sano: Do you have any remorse for the people who you face and brutalize in the ring? Or is—
Cut off by the sound of a familiar voice at the end of the hallway; Eri Sano turns and the camera follows to reveal ‘The Face of the Franchise” Steve Awesome wearing the XHF Hardcore championship over his shoulder, sporting sunglasses and escorted by two females. The commotion takes the attention away from the interview for a few seconds before Eri Sano turns back to view the door that she knocked on earlier.
Kieran Roth: This is all the time we have today. The King of Violence must get ready for tonight’s match.
Kieran shoes Eri Sano and the cameraman away with a wave of the hand, and the camera fades to black as a commercial break begins.
Match Five: J-ROK Trios Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
UZUMAKI (Yuki Sakaraba, Carnivore, & Killa Kai) Vs. The Academy (Rob Arnold & Leon Chant) & TEMERARIO
UZUMAKI (Yuki Sakaraba, Carnivore, & Killa Kai) Vs. The Academy (Rob Arnold & Leon Chant) & TEMERARIO
This would be a chaotic match up. With lots of high octane action and tags throughout. Yuki and Rob had history, fighting once before in an X*Crown match. TEMERARIO had fought UZUMAKI before as well. But Chant would be the wildcard for the trio. Yuki acted as the defacto leader ever since Kira had disappeared a couple of months back. She would start things off for her team as Chant would start off things for his. The two King of Hokkaido participants would show off a preview of the tournament.
With Chant using power and catching or brushing off what offense the former Destiny World Champion would hit on him. She’d tag out to Carnivore and the masked wrestler would prove to be a match up for the tag team specialist. Carnivore would beat him down with strikes and suplexes, before Leon would dodge a splash in the corner. He’d tag out to the veteran Rob Arnold, who’d gain control of the match.
The two vets would duke it out, with Carnivore tagging out to Killa Kai. The two former AXW stars renew old flames with quick strikes and counters. Rob would go for a round house kick, Kai would slide under and run the ropes, hitting a devastating krash kick on Rob. He’d bounce off the ropes and Kai would try to end things early with that murderspree ddt. Arnold would catch him into a double underhook backbreaker. He’d keep control of the match before Yuki would tag back in. Dropping him down with a springboard mass extinction double foot stomp. She’d roll up and clock him again with a galactic collider lariat. Rob would come back with some lefts and rights before dropping her down with a super kick. He’d tag out to TEMERARIO, who’d pick up the pace.
Him and Sakaraba would showcase some impressive high flying and lucha skills. With tons of reversals and counters. TEMERARIO would get the better of her, with a tequila resaca. He’d finish her off with an El Canon for the win.
Fumio Daemura: “(Your winner of this match is The Academy and TEMERARIO!)”
The scene opens with one third of the JROK Trios Champions, Mitsuo Shimada, standing in the backstage area in front of a backdrop of promotional advertisements. He has his championship belt draped over his shoulder and has a look in his eye, one of confusion, as he looks up to the heavens before speaking.
SHIMADA: The New Wave... what does that even mean? I feel like an old timer, and I'm barely old, what gives? Marcus Jackson represents the New Wave, on an interim basis, so I guess that means you're the face of it all, doesn't it? Marcus Jackson. The face of the New Wave. You've got some nerve, Marcus, being as good looking as you are, as talented as you are and now you're the interim face of the New Wave... I've gotta say, I'm a little bit jealous. I've been here longer than you, but not once have I been given such acclaim, no... to be the face of the New Wave, means that you're on route to becoming a star, joining the main events, on the edge of being an elite athlete. Newsflash for those that don't know, I already am and Marcus, I intend on taking away that New Wave title of yours, permanently.
He chuckles to himself.
SHIMADA: OK, so I do know a little about the title... anyways, it doesn't matter. What matters is Mitsuo Shimada finally getting the respect he deserves as the Man, Myth and Legend that he is, doesn't he deserve that? As one third of the longest defending and current reigning JROK Trios Champion, doesn't he deserve that? As one of the staples and gatekeepers of this promotion, doesn't he deserve his flowers? No? Yes! I deserve a lot but usually I don't speak. I just do and that's what I have been doing for my whole career. But when I speak, you listen, because you know, I only speak the truth.
A smirk plasters over his lip.
SHIMADA: The Heroes for Hire are trying to take all the gold, we've already made it our mission statement, have made it loud and clear. I guess you could say this interim title is one of those goals of mine now, to attain it... despite knowing the fact that I am already everything this title represents, I have to have it to prove it and Marcus Jackson, you're the man who stands in my way from having it. Marcus Jackson in another world maybe we could be friends, maybe we could bond over some 80's buddy-cop movies, become an unformidable tag team, take over the world. But that's not the world we live in, my friend. In this world, there's only prey and predators and I'm the biggest predator of them all, Marcus Jackson. A new shiny belt would go nice to the collection...
Shimada looks over his title on his shoulder, shuffling it up.
SHIMADA: When destiny calls, I'm the one who answers... and destiny's calling once more... the New Wave, is my destiny.
The scene gradually fades out.
Match Six: Orchestra Pit Death Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
Nausicaa Suzuki Vs. Jesse Jamester
Nausicaa Suzuki Vs. Jesse Jamester
The CEO would continue to test the mantle of Jesse Jamester, this time personally herself. Since coming back she’s proven her new style to be effective, even if it’s still a work in progress. This match would take place in an actual orchestra pit with the Sapporo Philharmonic playing in the pit they were fighting in. The orchestra would play improvised music in the background to match the action of the match itself.
The two wrestlers surrounded by the Orchestra start off slow to feel one another out. With light strikes and chain grappling. Nausicaa holds her own against the canadian veteran, keeping him down with a headlock. He’d manage to fight back to his feet. He’d drop her with a back body drop, creating some distance.
He’d drop a knee and Suzuki would dodge out of the way. Popping back up with a heads pele kick. He’d back up into the orchestra now, grabbing a stand and swinging it for the fences. Nausicaa would block the hit, but stumble back. She’d grab a bow and hold it like a sword. Swinging it at jesse and hitting him with it. It’d snap as he pushes through and slaps Suzuki in the chest.
She winces, as she falls and rolls back to her feet. She dives off an upper level of the pit hitting a Leap of Faith dropkick. Knocking the big man into the orchestra again, she drops him with a vicious big boot. Going for a quick pin attempt and getting a one count.
Jesse would pick up the pace and crank up the violence. Grabbing a cello and smashing it across the head of Nausicaa. She crumbles and he goes for the pin. She kicks out at two, with plenty of fight left in her. Seeing stars, she swings for the fences. Jamester would drop her with a violent grave on the stand and broken cello for the win.
Fumio Daemura: “(Your winner of this match, Jesse Jamester!)”
Match Seven
J-ROK Tag Team Match
30 Minute Time Limit
Black Knife Cabal Vs. Heroes 4 Hire (Takashi Shinobu & Mark Storm)
Fumio Demura: “The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL and has a time limit of thirty minutes! This match will follow tag team rules, a legal tag can only be made when the team member on the apron is holding the tag rope. A ten count will be administered for count outs. Rope breaks will count. ARE YOU READY URAKAWA?!”
The camera pans around Urakawa Town Workers Sports Center to get a great panoramic shot of the Japanese audience as the lights go down and Fumio is spotlighted in the center of the ring.
Fumio Demura: “Introducing first! Hailing from Ōgaki, Gifu Japan and Brooklyn, New York! They weighed in this evening at a combined weight of 440 pounds! They are two thirds of the reigning JROK TRIOS CHAMPIONS!!! Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, HEROES 4 HIRE — MARK STORM & TAKASHI SHINOBU!”
“Short Change Hero” by The Heavy plays over the sound system and blares throughout the arena to an overwhelming reaction from the fans as cheers fill the Sports Center. Out through the curtain comes Mark Storm and Takeshita Shinobu, pumping up the fans as they take to each side of the entrance stage.
MUSHI: “Heroes 4 Hire have an impressive resume that they want to expand on. Tonight, they take on the former XHF Tag Team champions and look to excel from JROK fame to global recognition.”
Psycho KGB: “Mark Storm and Takashi Shinobu will be absent of their third man tonight, per the rules set prior to the show. Tonight there will be no shenanigans or third man element to help them along. Instead we get a straight up tag team bout that I feel is a moment of truth for all four competitors. Either Heroes 4 Hire prove they can do it all, tag team and trios competition. Or Black Knife Cabal reclaims that fighting spirit that won them the XHF Tag Team titles. Either way, it’s going to be a dog fight.”
Fumio Demura: “Introducing their opponents! Hailing from, weighing in tonight at a combined weight of ! They are former XHF Tag Team Champions! It is my pleasure to introduce BLACK KNIFE CABAL — BRENDAN HARDING & JACK GAINES!
Lights go out.
"Make her a member of the Midnight Crew..."
Red light illuminates enough for the fans to cheer as they see Brendan Harding and Jack Gaines make their way out to RichaadEB's cover of Toby Fox's “Black”. Harding slaps a few hands on the way to the ring, while Jack seems laser focused on the upcoming fight. Both men slide into the ring, Jack taking one knee in the center as Brendan stands behind him, removing his crowned wolf mask and saluting the fans.
Psycho KGB: “Looks like this one is underway. “
DING! Ding! Ding!
Jack Gaines and Mark Storm start the match off with a tie-up. Jack sends Mark to the ropes, leap frogs the Hero 4 Hire and drops down as Mark returns off the far ropes. Jack springs up and goes for a hip toss, Mark counters and knees him in the gut. Placing a leg on his neck, Jack catapults Mark up in the air into a backflip where he lands on his feet. Mark ducks a right punch and grabs Jack’s arm, delivering a wicked arm drag that sends Jack back towards his team's corner. Brendan leans over the top rope and speaks to his partner. Black Knife Cabal not in unison at the unheard words and Brendan steps to the side as he yells “You got this Jack!” Coming in hot, Mark Storm goes for a shoulder thrust tackle to the cornered Jack Gaines! Lifting himself up using the top ropes, Jack rolls off the back of an incoming Mark Storm and turns around to hoist him by the waist with a bridging German suplex for the pin attempt!

Shooting a shoulder off the canvas, Mark breaks up the pin attempt. Jack and Mark trade blows as they rise to their feet. Mark slings Jack to a neutral corner and comes following behind to splash Jack in the back, sending Gaines' chest directly into the turnbuckle. Mark bounces off the ropes as Jack stumbles out of the corner and hits a clothesline with such force that Jack does a full 360 rotation before landing on the canvas. This time, it’s Mark’s turn for a pin attempt.

Psycho KGB: “Both teams showing that fighting will power and never say die attitude. Both men with a near fall at the start of this bout.”
MUSHI: “Mark Storm pulls Jack Gaines up and goes into a suplex. Modifying that thought, Storm drives Jack into the canvas with a brainbuster!”
Mark Storm uses this momentum and his downed opponent as an opportunity to tag in his partner. Takashi Shinobu enters the ring and both Heroes 4 Hire grab a leg of Jack Gaines and split the BKC member like a wishbone! Storm returns to the apron and Takashi Shinobu goes for a kick to the back of Jack as he sits up — executing it perfectly as he connects with the spine!
MUSHI: “Takashi Shinobu has an explosive offensive arsenal that has caught many opponents off guard. He finds unique ways to blend moves he knows together in different ways every time we see him. Right now, it looks like he is getting ready to put Gaines away with a Blue Thunder Bomb!”
Takashi Shinobu lifts Jack up in the air for the Blue Thunder Bomb and it’s countered! Gaines reverses into a hurracarrana and hooks Takashi’s legs for the pin!

Kick out!
Gaines is sent flying forward near his corner from Takashi Shinobu’s kickout. Brendan bends his arm over into the ring as far as he can as he holds the white tag rope and yells for Jack to tag out. Takashi Shinobu is up and rushes to stop Jack by jumping and dropping an elbow, Jack rolls out of the way! With a hop and a spring, Jack slaps the outstretched hand of Brendan Harding and rolls off the apron to the outside floor. Brendan comes into the ring and backs Takashi up with his signature move series Omae wa mou Shindeiru.
Psycho KGB: “A deadly assault of palm strikes as Brendan fires himself up with each strike he lands.”
MUSHI: “Takashi backed up to the ropes! Trying to fend off the barrage of shots Brendan lands on him.”
Brendan Irish whips Takashi and stops short to bring him back into a knee to the midsection. Stepping aside, Brendan hits a Magic Bullet on Takashi! Brendan skips the pin attempt and ascends his team’s turnbuckles to the top rope. If you blinked, you might have missed it — Pope Turtle Blessing by Harding! Hooking the leg for the cover!

Psycho KGB: “Mark Storm with the save!”
Mark tees off on Brendan, buying Takashi some time as he rolls to the apron. Jack Gaines enters the ring against the referee’s orders and all hell breaks loose as Mark ducks a right from Jack and bounces off the ropes. Storm comes back to see both Jack and Brendan ready, Jack lifts Storm off up over his shoulder and Brendan grabs Storm’s face and places a knee in it as he drops to his back! Storm takes all of the double team move and lays motionless near his team's corner.
MUSHI: “Black Knife Cabal looking strong with that team attack to eliminate one of the Hero 4 Hire members.”
Psycho KGB: “KICK OF GLORY FROM TAKASHI!”
Spring boarding from the apron to the top rope and straight at BKC! Takashi goes for the missile dropkick and Jack Gaines pushes his partner out of the way, absorbing the full effect of Takashi’s trademark move!
Psycho KGB: “Jack sacrifices himself! Remember, Brendan is still legal, as is Takashi!”
Brendan shakes off the shock of Jack’s act of courage and sacrifice for the team, and kicks the rising Takashi in the hip as he stands. Hooking the neck, Brendan lifts Takashi for a reverse suplex and modifies his grip to turn it into a tombstone piledriver! ZEN DRIVER! Brendan folds the arms of Takashi for the pin.

Signaling for the bell, the referee raises Brendan’s arm but it’s yanked away as Brendan tends to Jack and helps his groggy partner to his feet.
Fumio Demura: “Winners of this match by pin fall, BLACK KNIFE CABAL — Brendan Harding and Jack Gaines!"
MUSHI: “What an incredible effort by Heroes 4 Hire here tonight. This one was back and forth from the start.”
Psycho KGB: “It was that last ditch effort thinking from Jack and BKC capitalizing with the two-on-one situation. Once they took down Storm, the momentum shifted and per usual, Black Knife Cabal came away with the victory.”
Match Eight: Interim J-ROK New Wave Championship Match; Musical Chairs Death Match; 60 Minute Time Limit
Mitsuo Shimada Vs. Marcus Jackson(C.)
Mitsuo Shimada Vs. Marcus Jackson(C.)
Fumio Daemura: “(This match is set for one fall and is a Musical Chairs Death Match for the Interim J-ROK New Wave Championship! Introducing first in the blue corner, Representing Heroes 4 Hire! He is one third of the J-ROK Trios Champions… Mitsuo Shimada!)”
MUSHI: “(Shimada has been on a tear as Trios Champion and he looks to become the second ever double champion in company history here tonight.)”
Psycho KGB: “(But that’s no small task. The champion won a tournament and defeated Jack Gaines of all people to win this championship.)”
Fumio Daemura: “(And his opponent, The REIGNING DEFENDING Interim J-ROK New Wave Champion… Marcus Jackson!)”
The ring would be surrounded by chairs of all kinds. Lawn chairs, folding chairs, metal chairs and wooden chairs. Some even exploded and had barbed wire on them. The two men would pick up some chairs and smash them across the others head. Then they’d pick up some more and do the same till each man was wearing four or five chairs around their necks. They’d brawl into a corner where Shimada would place an exploding chair in the face of a proned Marcus Jackson. He’d hit his Shimada Special Magarita Mix on the champ, causing the chair to not only explode in his face, but in Shimada’s legs as well.
He’d go for a pin but get a two and a half. We’d see some good strikes from him before Shimada would go for his Destiny’s Call. Jackson would reverse it and hit his own version of the move.
Psycho KGB: “(Everlong by Jackson and the cover!)”

No a kick out by Shimada!
MUSHI: “(Could you imagine how Mistuo would feel losing to his own move? Talk about embarrassing!)”
Marcus keeps up on the offense, Hitting the crooked smile onto his opponent through a wooden lawn chair. Shimada gets a face full of splinters. Jackson goes for that leg lariat of his, but gets caught. Shimada special slam through the lawn chair! He goes to the to for the corkscrew moonsault.
Psycho KGB: “(The cover and the count!)”
MUSHI: “(ONE! TWO!! THREE!!! That’s it!)”
Fumio Daemura: “(Your winner of this match and NEEEEW Interim J-ROK New Wave Champion…. Mitsuo Shimada!)”
Confetti and streamers fall from the sky as CEO Nausicaa Suzuki comes out to present the sponsored check, flowers and belt to the new champion.
he camera cuts to the backstage area where a beaten and dejected Marcus Jackson gradually makes his way into the interview area. His hands are linked together atop his head, letting out a long exhale as he’s still processing the recent loss against Mitsuo Shimada, now titleless. He runs his hands down his face, turning to address the cameras and journalists.
Marcus: “Was hoping I’d be able to hold onto that strap a little longer, even if I only was the interim champion. It was my mark of showing that I could do things on my own these days but clearly my in-ring abilities still need some refinement after that encounter.”
He lightly kicks the floor in dismay, hands moving to his hips as he stares off at some distant part of the ceiling.
Marcus: “Time to start from the ground up once again. I’ll get back to that status in due time, but right now, there’s room for a good deal of improvement.”
A hush falls over the journalists, puzzling Marcus as he turns his gaze to them but soon switches it to where everyone else is looking. Approaching from the right hand side of the shot, is the ever quiet masked man of Bone Devil, slowly making his way into the frame, staring down Marcus. The former interim New Wave Champion raises a brow at the unannounced appearance of the masked wrestler, but his attention is captured even moreso as Devil holds up the Red Aux Cord he won several months ago.
Devil: “.......”
He simply points at Marcus, and then to himself, letting out a simple “Hmph” before lowering the Red Aux Cord from sight. One pat of the shoulder, and just as quietly does Bone Devil make his exit from the area, leaving many journalists baffled by what just occurred in front of them.
Marcus: “Why me of all people?”
Marcus shakes his head, taking his leave in the opposite direction. A lot of chatter begins to emerge between all the people in the interview area before the shot cuts back to ringside.
Co-Main Event:
Tap Out Openweight Championship Match
Tap Out Rules
60 Minute Time Limit
James Raymond Vs. Jack Diamond ©
MUSHI: “Up next we have a JROK versus Tap Out match. With the Tap Out OpenWeight championship title on the line. “
Psycho KGB: “Two of the brightest and wildest young athletes in wrestling today about to collide in the co-main event of Jam Sessions 20.“
Fumio Demura: “The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL and is for the Tap Out Openweight Championship! The rules of the match are as follows, a pin fall or submission wins the match, and count outs and rope breaks will be enforced. No illegal objects or interference will be permitted or a disqualification will occur and in the event of a disqualification, the champion will remain the champion.“
Psycho KGB: “A treat of a title match happening here at Jam Sessions 20. Excited to see what these two bring to the table tonight.”
The slow beginning to ‘Styles Clash’ plays through the P.A. System in the arena as the house lights flash down onto the stage once the beat kicks in and onto the entrance curtain as the crowd awaits the arrival of James Raymond and raining down the mixture of cheers and boos from every inch of the arena. The figure of James slowly passes through the curtain from Gorilla Position as he looks around the arena. The half-mask worn around his head doesn’t give James the advantage of expressing himself, but from the way he’s looking around the arena and soaking in the crowd’s negative reaction, his nods are in approval of how the crowd feels about him.
James begins his walk to the ring, the spotlights following him down the ramp as he ignores those who reach out for him, even going as far as kicking the barricade that holds the fans back as he passes by. The Coventry native makes his way to ringside and walks around the ring until he’s leapt onto the ring apron where the hard cam faces, from there he begins to unwrap the mask from behind his head, pulling away at the final knot as the ring announcer begins his introduction.
Fumio Daemura: "Introducing first / And their opponent… wrestling out of Coventry City, England though residing in Shibuya City, Japan and weighing in tonight at one hundred and eighty-seven pounds… THE BROKEN CROWN... JAMES RAAAAAYYYYMOOONNNDDDDDD!”
Upon hearing his name being announced, James pulls the mask away from his head and reveals the bottom half of facial features to the hard camera that points right down at him, finally getting a good look at his cocky grin rubbed all over his face before he passes through the ropes and enters the ring, looking around the arena with that same shit-eating smug look on his face as he slips free from his ring jacket and places it down in his corner, ready for the match to begin / ready for his opponent to enter the arena.
MUSHI: “What an ovation for the JROK talent James Raymond here tonight! These fans are excited to see an inter-federation bout and it’s obvious who they are rooting for. “
Psycho KGB: “James has shown up big in JROK recently, having been a former XHF Hardcore Champion until very recent. He’s hungry for the gold and whether it’s JROK’s or another company in the XHF Network, James is gunning to be the top star.“
Fumio Demura: “Introducing the opponent! Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada. Weighing in tonight at 195 pounds! He is the current TAP OUT OPENWEIGHT CHAMPION! Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for ‘The Ace of Spades’ — JACK DIAMOND!"
The house lights go out as the crowd begins to buzz.
“Top, to the top, ain't never gonna stop
To the top, to the top, ain't never gonna stop”
Pyro explodes as the chorus of "Legendary" by Skillet begins to play and the crowd erupts into cheers and chants begin to break out of "Icons", "Diamond Club", and "D-T-F".
Jack Diamond emerges on the stage with a huge grin on his face, nodding his head to the beat of the music. He adjusts his leather jacket and soaks in the moment, around his waist the Tap Out Openweight Championship belt glimmers in the lights. He mouths the word "Legendary" and begins to make his way to the ring acknowledging the fans as only Jack Diamond can do. As he gets to the ring, he climbs the stairs and walks the apron over to the far turnbuckle. He ascends the outside of the corner, removes his belt and holds it high over his head, playing to the crowd as more pyro goes off. Once in the ring and his music fades out, Jack Diamond hands over the Tap Out OpenWeight championship to the referee, who holds it high in the air for the fans to see before the referee takes it to the ropes and hands it off to the time keeper. Once the time keeper is stationed by the bell, the referee goes back to the wrestlers.
Jack Diamond open hand slaps James Raymond as the referee explains the rules of the match. Immediately this triggers the bell and the match is officially started. Jack steps back a second and puts up his fists waiting for James Raymond to retaliate with hands being thrown. Instead James hits a picture perfect football tackle on Jack Diamond; grabbing the thighs as he drives his shoulder into the abdomen of Diamond and planting the Champ on the canvas. Raymond then begins to let the hands swing, stinging Diamond with lefts and rights that rain down one after another. Jack throws up his forearms to shield himself but catches multiple shots to both sides of his head anyway. Finally Jack grab Raymond and headbuttes him in the bridge of the nose, then slides backwards to free himself of Raymond’s body weight being on him. Diamond brings his knee back like a spring being compressed — BOOM! Diamond with a boot to the chest of Raymond, sending him hurling backwards and rolling into the ropes on the other side of the ring.
MUSHI: “Raymond is sent flying across the ring. Jack Diamond is determined to retain his championship here tonight.“
Psycho KGB: “Jack has been the measuring stick for proving people wrong. Tonight he has to do it again as he takes on one of JROK’s best in James Raymond.“
James gets to his feet with the ropes, and Jack Diamond hits him in the side with a knee attack. Gutwrench suplex to Raymond lands him on his back in the center of the ring. Jack stomps Raymond and then lifts a leg up before driving a knee into the calf of James Raymond. Wrenching the ankle up as he lays all his weight on the calf. Raymond punches Jack twice on the face and then sends a vicious elbow across Jack’s nose to get free.
Psycho KGB: “These two do not like each other and it shows. James Raymond sending that elbow like he wanted to break the nose of Jack Diamond.”
MUSHI: “Jack Diamond being from TapOut has to make this more personal for James Raymond. He knows all too well what representing his company means, as does Jack Diamond. But for James Raymond it’s happening at his home, and nobody wants to lose with the home field advantage.”
Psycho KGB: “Absolutely agree. James Raymond represents JROK here tonight and the visitor is the champion. The fans are leaning hard in favor of James Raymond as we can hear. “
Raymond grapples Jack and hits a snap suplex. James hits the ropes and drops a leg drop across the neck of Jack before attempting a pin.

As Jack shakes off the damage from James Raymond, facing the announcers desk, he gives the fans a “whatever” gesture as he sees a sign saying “Go back to FakeOut Wrestling” in the front row. As Jack goes to take the sign from the fan, BAM! James Raymond comes flying off the top rope to the outside and crashes on top of James into the barricade!
Psycho KGB: “James throwing caution to the wind as he disobeys the referee’s orders and launches himself at Diamond on the outside.“
MUSHI: “Don’t know how wise that was, as it looks like James landed awkwardly on his left ankle.”
Slapping his leg, James hobbles as he uses the barricade as a crutch to get up. His left ankle was not touching the floor as he clenched his teeth and smacked the barricade as he set it on the floor. James grabs Diamond and lifts him up, hobbling as he goes to send Diamond back into the ring. James pulls himself up on the apron and stops right after he does, shaking his head in frustration as he hunches over to clench the ankle again. Mustering the strength to continue, Raymond steps through the ropes with the bad ankle first and leans over, trying to avoid putting his weight on the ankle. Diamond takes out the bad ankle with a running kick!
MUSHI: “Taking Raymond back to the canvas with that soccer kick on the bad ankle!”
Psycho KGB: “Jack saw the weakness and used it to his advantage. It was only a matter of time really, but to see James fall like that after he looked to be taking control hurts for these fans. You felt the gasp of air as James went down.”
Clutching his leg in pain, James Raymond rolls around by the ropes in agony. Jack Diamond stomps Raymond’s face twice and then takes the leg and puts it on the bottom rope before jumping up and dropping all his weight on the ankle. Then again! Jack proceeds to stand on the ankle as it rests on the bottom rope and the referee begins a count that ends at four and a half before Jack stops.
MUSHI: “Jack Diamond showing us what made him a champion in the first place. He saw his opening and is exploiting the weakness to isolate James Raymond. “
Psycho KGB: “If James can’t stand, he’ll have a hell of a time finding a way to win this match. Right now it’s the Jack Diamond show as he drags James to the center of the ring.“
Jack signals for the end as he looks to put on the Aces Wild or as fans know it, the figure four leg lock.
MUSHI: “Countered by Raymond!“
Psycho KGB: “Jack Diamond is launched into the referee and the referee has exited the ring!“
Jack staggers as he holds his head from the impact with the ref. Grabbing the top rope, he peers over to see the referee on the floor. He shakes his head and shrugs, turning around to see James Raymond come flying at him with to hit the Kishin Hunter!
Psycho KGB: “He got all of that one!”
Crushed in the corner from the impactful knee attack that has laid many opponents to rest, Jack Diamond crumbles to the canvas and James Raymond drops down and hooks the legs for a cover!
MUSHI: “James doesn’t know the referee is down!“
James Raymond realizes no count is being made and rolls off Jack Diamond to get to his feet. Looking around the ring he spots the zebra shirt on the outside by the closest corner and drops to the canvas to roll out of the ring. Raymond lifts up the referee with help of the ring apron for him to stand, and shoves him under the bottom rope. Sliding back in, James sees Jack stirring and takes note as he lifts the referee up in the corner and shakes him back to consciousness.
Psycho KGB: “Well the referee is finally back on his feet, thanks to James. James has to be hurting, I see him favoring that ankle. He looks to be going for another Kishin Hunter as Jack climbs to his feet slowly.”
MUSHI: “Diamond turns and Raymond runs for it, putting all his weight down on that hurt ankle to get the momentum. Here it comes and — NO!”
STACKED DECK! Jack Diamond turns and leaps in the air to snatch the neck of an airborne James Raymond and delivers a cutter that lays out the JROK star! Diamond hooks the leg, and the referee gets down to make the count.

The fans not happy with this one after seeing James Raymond hit his Kishin Hunter and not get a count for the referee being down and out. Jack Diamond receives the Tap Out OpenWeight championship and holds it high in the air as the referee raises his hand.

XHF Hardcore Championship Match
Mosh Pit Madness Death Match
60 Minute Time Limit
Rin Kubo Vs. Steve Awesome ©
Fumio Demura: “The following bout is the MAIN EVENT of Jam Sessions 20! This match is scheduled for ONE FALL and will be sanctioned under the rules of a Mosh Pit Madness death match!”
Psycho KGB: “A treat for the fans this evening as Steve Awesome defends he recently won Hardcore championship tonight. After a blood bath of a competition with former champion Jason Long, Steve Awesome recaptured the XHF Hardcore Championship at the previous Jam Sessions.”
MUSHI: “Tonight he takes on a competitor known for their success as part of the team SKY Force. The one and only Rin Kubo has the task of taking down Steve Awesome and declaring herself the new XHF Hardcore champion this evening.”
Fumio Demura: “Introducing first, hailing from Kawasaki, Japan! She weighed in this evening at one hundred forty seven pounds! You know her as THE RONIN — RIN KUBOOOOOOOO!
“Become the Martyr” by Light the Torch blares through the venue sound system and the strobe lights dance around the stage entrance. Dancing through the curtain and vibing to the music, Rin Kubo appears with the enthusiasm and energy that her fans have grown to love. Running down the aisle she slides under the bottom rope to the center of the ring and springs to her feet, posing for her fans as the strobe lights shift to the ring side area. Taking to a turnbuckle, Rin points to the fans before pumping an arm in the air and then repeating this at the opposite turnbuckle. Her music fades out and the lights return to normal as she takes to her corner and stretches, receiving “KU-BO” chants from the fans in attendance.
Fumio Demura: “Introducing the opponent! Hailing from Detroit, Michigan! Tonight he weighs in at two hundred and thirty three pounds! Known worldwide as the “FACE OF THE FRANCHISE”, and the reigning XHF HARDCORE CHAMPION —- STEEEEEVE AWWWEEEESSSSOOOME!”
All the lights in the dome die out and the fans in attendance start chanting his name.
"AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME!"
Dramatic Pause.
"REGRETS I'VE HAD MINE!"
The lights in the arena explode to life as they flash green and black to the beat as Steve Awesome comes running out with intensity to the hyped up chorus of "Full of Regrets" by Danko Jones.
‘Lonely nights/ and a whole lot of wasted time!
If you see her wont you tell her for me/
It's better this way to avoid all the misery’
The chorus plays again as Steve walks down to the ring. Walking around the ring, Steve walks up the far steps and provocatively takes off his jacket and chaps, tossing them at the announce table right in front of MUSHI. The commentator looks annoyed, and Psycho KGB removes them from view and sets them by the time keeper. Steve’s music fades out as he takes his corner and presents the XHF Hardcore championship to the referee.
Psycho KGB: “Entering the ringside area now are the mosh pit participants for this match. Similar to lumberjack match rules, these folk will stand around the ring and keep the wrestlers from exiting the ring if they dare try.”
Match
DING! Ding! Ding!
The match is officially underway and Steve wastes no time rushing at Rin Kubo and throwing a knee into her midsection. Hooking her arm, he locks on an abdominal stretch and smiles as he shows off with a hair flick. Rin is quick to find an exit and hip tosses Steve over and onto the canvas. Dropping a knee into his lower back, Rin remains there as she pulls back on the chin and arch’s Steve’s head backwards as her knee stays firmly in his spine.
MUSHI: “Taking the champion off his feet and putting him in a submission hold is a smart method for Rin here. She gives up the size advantage so speed and technical prowess will be her strengths to success tonight.”
Psycho KGB: “Steve rolls sideways and is able to get out of the chin lock, but Rin is quick with kicks to the shins and quads!”
Rin backs Steve up to the ropes and goes for a clothesline to send him over and out, but Steve backdrops Rin as a counter measure! Rin grabs the top rope and sails over, barely landing on the edge of the apron as the mosh pit members at ringside await their role in this match. Rin elbows Steve twice in the head and then shoulder thrusts him between the middle and top rope. This causes Steve to hunch over and Rin launches herself over the top rope to execute a sunset flip!
Psycho KGB: “Steve is barely holding on as Rin Kubo tries her hardest to flip him for the pin!”
Steve loses grip of the middle rope with his last two fingers and rocks backwards. Dropping down to his knees and pins the shoulders of Kubo to the canvas. Steve reaches back and grabs Rins legs and goes for his own pin!
One!

Kick out!
Steve sails through the middle and bottom ropes as Rin kicks out. The mosh pit members at ringside immediately make him regret it as they thrash Steve Awesome with full on running mosh rushes, treating Steve like a pinball, sending him from one mosh pit member into another. Finally Steve hits the barricade near the timekeeper's table and grabs a chair to defend himself. Swinging it wildly, he makes his way back into the ring cautiously, and is drop kicked in the back by Rin Kubo! Steve hits the turnbuckles & eats the chair in the process. Awesome drops the chair and staggers around like an alcoholic after a bartender’s last call; Awesome’s hands reach out to find only air before he flops face first on the canvas.
Psycho KGB: “Steve finds canvas after being reminded who Rin Kubo is!”
MUSHI: “Steve may be underestimating Rin here in the early going. He’s in for a rude awakening if he thinks this is going to be a walk in the park tonight.”
Psycho KGB: “Kubo is out to prove she is champion caliber tonight.“
Flipping Steve over, Rin heads to the top rope in the nearest corner and fans rise to their feet chanting her name. Falling elbow drop from the top rope! Awesome moves at the last possible second! Rin rolls around holding her arm as Steve leans on the bottom rope smirking. Steve pulls himself up and grabs Rin by the head, lifting her off the canvas and into a Powerslam position. Walking towards the ropes, Steve tosses Rin over the top rope and she is caught by the mosh pit members at ringside. Slowly, she begins to be crowd surfed around the ringside area as Steve Awesome looks on with disbelief.
Psycho KGB: “This is unbelievable, Rin Kubo is getting surfed around the outside ring area and is about to lap the ring in the process.”
Steve yells for someone to drop her, but instead the mosh pit members push her up on the apron in a standing position. Rin shrugs as Steve comes running at her looking to knock her off with an axe handle smash. Rin ducks and shoulder thrusts him in the gut. Flipping over the top rope, she rolls off his back and runs to the ropes, rebounding towards Steve with incredible agility. Steve turns around to see Rin leap off her feet for her Burning Sword lariat and immediately super kicks her mid air!
MUSHI: “Rin stopped dead in her tracks as she looked to end this one! But that superkick also sent Steve out of the ring as Rin collided with him on impact and sent him through the ropes.”
Psycho KGB: “That was an incredible counter by Steve and quick thinking. Unfortunately he’s not getting the same treatment from the mosh pit members at ringside as Rin Kubo did.”
Instead of crowd surfing, Steve was being stomped on by a posse of moshers. They lift him up after a solid ten seconds of stomping and roll him under the bottom rope. Both Steve Awesome and Rin Kubo lay motionless in the ring.
MUSHI: “While these two dig down deep to find the will to win, I have to ask whether or not these Moshers at ringside were paid off by an enemy of Steve Awesome?“
Psycho KGB: “He has made many enemies MUSHI. I wouldn’t doubt there being at least one or two in the JROK locker room either. Jason Long comes to mind, since losing the XHF Hardcore championship and the rematch, it makes sense he might have a bone to pick with Awesome.”
Crawling towards the ropes, Rin Kubo begins to pull herself up to her feet. As she stands we see Steve Awesome Kip up to his feet and whip his hair back. A superkick by Steve! Rin ducks and grabs the neck of Awesome, turning Steve around, she pulls his head down and knees him in the face twice! Rin looks to lift Steve with a suplex and Steve counters and knees Rin to break up the move. Steve steps back and jabs Rin in the shoulder, then in the face, he runs behind her and bounces off the ropes, leaping off the mat and goes for a rocker dropper but Rin drops to a knee and Steve hits nothing but air! Rin rolls forward right behind Steve as he hits the canvas. Steve pops up holding his lower back and turns around to meet a Kick to the stomach, RIN FACTOR! Reversed! Steve sends her into the turnbuckle and comes running behind to splash her to pile on the hurt. Rin staggers backwards and Steve locks her up with a headlock that he picks her up with and then slams her down on the canvas with a hard back drop!
Psycho KGB: “A mean streak from the Hardcore champion like we’ve only seen a few times before. Steve is not giving an inch here now, and that second wind he is so famous for is in full effect.”
Steve begins to climb the turnbuckle, showboating to the crowd as he stands one foot on the second rope and the other on the top turnbuckle. Brushing his wet hair back like he’s getting a close-up for a Hollywood red carpet event, Steve cracks a smile and raises his hands to get the crowd behind him. A series of mixed chants begin.
Fans: “STEVE-SUCKS!”
Other Fans: “AWE-SOME RULES!”
Fans: “STEVE-SUCKS!”
Other Fans: “AWE-SOME RULES!”
BELLY-TO-BACK SUPLEX FROM RIN KUBO! Flying off the top rope and across the ring, Steve smashes the canvas with Rin landing feet away on her back. His flaunting bought her time and she used it like a cat to hop up and exert all her energy into getting the big move to bring Steve down to reality. But Rin might have used the last of what was in the tank, not able to capitalize on the move, as she lays there looking up at the lights.
MUSHI: “Rin put everything she had in taking Steve down with that belly-to-back suplex off the top rope.“
Psycho KGB: “It was truly a spectacle of a move to pull off, but at what cost?“
After the slowest ten seconds ever, we see Rin’s head stir. With each second after she begins to move, trying to get to her feet but wobbly in the process. Rin finally gets up, using the corner to do so, and shakes her head clear of the cobwebs. It’s evident she wants to end this one, holding both ropes as she stomps her foot and waits for Steve Awesome to stand up on the opposite side of the ring. Steve is using the turnbuckles in the opposite corner to get up. He’s stirring, and leans into the turnbuckle like a limp noodle. Rin is still stomping, and fans are getting behind her with chants as the camera focuses in on her. Rin’s sheer will power for a young woman is on full display as she ignites a spark in the audience. Finally she stops and points at Steve as he hap-hazardous staggers left and finally she takes off sprinting towards him, leaving the ground for the Burning Sword lariat she is famous for! Steve turns completely around and ducks and grabs her legs, dropping backwards! Rin hits the top turnbuckle, but it’s not the turnbuckle pad, Steve removed the pad and instead Rin hits face first on the steel knuckle that the turnbuckle pad was tied to. Steve quickly executes a school boy pin attempt.

The fans erupt in a choir of boos that out number the cheers of Awesome. The XHF Hardcore champion retains again, but not without antics befitting his bipolar nature.
Fumio Demura: “Winner of this match and STILL XHF Hardcore Champion — STEVE AWESOME!”
The boos are a choir force that drown out the music that begins to play for the champion as Jam Session 20 ends on a sour note for the Japanese fans. The moshers ringside begin to exit the ringside area, all but one.
Psycho KGB: “Wait a moment!”
The last Mosher slides in the ring and removes a popular Japanese dragon mask that he wears to reveal… JESSE JAMESTER!
MUSHI: “This doesn’t bode well for Steve Awesome.”
Psycho KGB: “Steve’s back is turned, he has no idea that the King of Violence stands right behind him…”
Steve turns around to see the massive frame of the Canadian who he knew oh too well. A swift kick and a lift, and a Violent Grave is hit on the Face of the Franchise that sends him spiking head first into the canvas!
Psycho KGB: “Jesse with a tombstone piledriver he calls the Violent Grave on the Hardcore champion! What provoked this— Wait a minute, I think we are getting our answer.”
Reaching down beside Steve Awesome’s body, the Murder Lizard picks up the XHF Hardcore championship belt and lifts it up as he steps over Steve and stands directly over him. Holding the Championship high in the air with one hand, Jesse takes in the mixed reaction as Rin Kubo walks up the ramp with help from the referee. Jesse leans down and lays the XHF Hardcore title over the chest of Steve Awesome and cameras zoom in as Jesse says “I’m going to take everything away from you Steve. Everything!”
