The best a man can do when he falls…
...Stand up and keep on walking.
I didn´t win the Cruiser-fest but I gained valuable experience from it and taught El Rey some humility. He showed he belongs up there with the champions too, to be honest. Well, now it is time to move on. Other lessons to teach, goals to reach promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.
If I am honest, more lessons to learn too.
I always knew life is tough and there are hardships to overcome on your path towards reaching your goals and achieving your dreams. Been known that since I was nothing more than a whippersnapper, but now it is getting tougher. I am sixteen no more, I am close to my thirties, and in the world of sports that´s quite some age to be in. You got a lot of the path in your journey behind you and still, some more to go, depending on the sport you practice.
This is the World of Wrestling. You deal with broken bones and bruised egos more times than not, and the injuries pile up depending on your fighting style. And the fighting style I have practiced since I was a teenager is not suitable for me anymore. I have to adapt my fighting to my injured body, it is a tough process but I showed I can manage, exactly in the clash of egos.
The Cruiser-fest.
Night of Champions is over and done. Now it is time to focus on my tasks at hand. One of them? Armand Von Krauss. He cost me my health and did it with purpose and intent. I cost him a match and a chance at greatness and I am sure he is livid from anger. I am pretty sure he won't go easy on the matter at hand. I am sure he will try to end what he started and finish me for good.
I am ready for the battle
Ready for the war.
"There is chaos in this world and I know that is a fact.
There are agents of chaos in this world, they thrive when evil surpasses good. They do everything in their might, so that chaos might reign supreme, but most of the time they fail. When things get serious and existence is in danger, the forces of order and goodness surpass the evil in front of them. Thus positivism wins the final war. It has mostly been like this in human history and it will probably be like this in the future too.
But, some people are called in by the darkness in the human soul.
People who give in to evil.
Why?
Maybe because they were born evil, or maybe because they know that their ambitions have no chance in a world of order. Maybe because they know that their skills can not amount to much in a world where peace and order prosper. Thus they give in to chaos and anarchy. I am not a fan of chaos or anarchy. I am not a fan of evil deeds and darkness in a human heart.
But I know for a fact that they exist and are a reality in the world we live in.
And I know for a fact that sometimes, they can win battles!
It happened yesterday. It might happen today and tomorrow. But as long as hope enlightens the path in front of us, we will be able to win wars. And that I know is a fact. Disaster and Evil thrive in a world of chaos, but they won't amount to much when facing Positive Dreams and Goodness in Human hearts.
Darkness thrives where there is no light
But it succumbs to it, whenever light appears.
People have used light for centuries so that it can show them the way. It has been so before, will be so in this day and age, and will go on like this tomorrow. I follow the light in my heart and my Dreams, thus I will be able to surpass Evil. Armand Von Krauss, you say you have been around since unknown times, you take pride in the fact that you have destroyed Kingdoms and Reigns and you are sure you will prevail tomorrow.
But I disagree.
You tried to end my Dream. But I am still here. Still, stand up after each fall, and I will do so over and over again. Because that is my strength, that is my might and that is my Reason D´Etre. I have reached for my Dreams and have managed to achieve most of them. I am an accomplished fighter and a former World Champion.
That old man is more than many can say.
I am here today and will be alive and thriving tomorrow. I live my life reaching for my dreams and managing to overcome hindrances more times than not. I have achieved my biggest dream anyway, that being to be one of the best fighters in this business of ours.
