Sean Parker stands in front of the camera, an impassive look on his face. He’s decked out in a pair of jeans, a white Final Fantasy VII t-shirt and the WCW World Championship draped over his shoulder. He takes a step towards the camera and begins to speak.
(Sean): So this roster seems to have changed quite a bit since I won this title.
Sean shuffles the WCW World Championship back into place across his shoulder.
(Sean): I mean I’ve had this title what? Three weeks? And so many have started to set their sights on me which I guess was bound to happen sooner or later. But here was me thinking I was gonna have a history-making match against Hollywood Hogan at some point only for him to go and shit the bed and no-show only weeks after Kota Ibushi did the exact same thing.
Sean shrugs, a look of disappointment etched across his face.
(Sean): And then Erik Holland openly calls me out on social media, claiming he will be the champion-elect only to request his release from World Championship Wrestling two days later.
Sean shakes his head, his gaze looking up to the ceiling emphasizing his disappointment.
(Sean): And now, it’s CJ Walker and Riot staking their claim; assuming you two decide to stick around. Both of you have been looking really good since you guys debuted, I’ll give you that. You’ve made some pretty big statements and, so far, you’ve backed them up. Riot, you’ve made it clear what your intentions are…
Sean looks down at the WCW World Championship on his shoulder.
(Sean): You want this, don’t you? The Big Gold belt. Well, two wins, as impressive as they may have been, doesn’t merit you a shot at the World Champion. Same as CJ Walker, claiming you’re coming for the champ doesn’t hold any credence and doesn’t merit you a shot at the champ. Earning your shot and proving your worth, that merits you a shot at the champ. Riot, you beat me at Nitro and I’ll gladly give you a shot at Big Gold! But I swear, me winning this belt doesn’t mean I’m resting on my laurels, I’m not going to be a paper champion, a “one and done”. I didn’t make the sacrifices I have, leave the only place I’ve ever called home, bet on myself, bust my ass and win my first-ever title to give that up at the first time of asking.
Sean’s expression grows more determined as he focuses on the camera with a fiery gaze in his emerald green eyes.
(Sean): I will be the champion this company deserves, I won’t let it become a hot potato belt, I will make it worth holding, worth fighting for so that when the time comes that someone worthy takes it from me, it will have been an accomplishment, not just to become World Champion but to beat Sean Parker! To dethrone the King of the Skies and prove you’re worthy to sit on the throne! Are you up for the challenge, Riot? Because at Nitro, the first step of that journey begins for you!
Sean gives the camera one more confident look and walks off screen as the scene fades to black.
