Cult leader? But I'm voting Hammer because the whole thing seems sus to me.
Hype seems anti-town but it's hard to read his screen. Mosler is slippery so I need to stay on my toes around him, or on my fingers so to speak.

I'm pretty sure mosler was referring to him checking Steve last night while he got killed not you Steele. The kill might have been redirected?

When I said why " waste a power " I meant on Steve, since he was allegedly checked the same night he was killed. It wouldn't be a waste on Steele because they had two different targets the first night, got information & almost a kill. And like I said. It could have been for an alibi, but Hammer is damn close to elimination without anyone pointing it out. And the way he is playing... if he has a chat room with experienced scum in it, they aren't coaching him very well. For my part I thought his commuter comment day 2 was an obvious town investigator role blunder, and I was a little surprised that scum didn't kill him last night. I've had off and on scum vibes from him, but most of my spider sense is saying Jester. |

I am not familiar with the lore of the newer Zelda games, but Majora's Mask has Skull Kid--and if ever there was a character that was made for a Jester role, it would be Skull Kid. With the erratic play and seemingly nonsensical leaps in logic and action both, I think Mosler's spot on here. |

In the hypothetical where hammer is a jester, would such a third party be a Link or would that be a safe claim? Would his remaining in this game as not a link be a problem for a town win? Why does my autocorrect kept un-capitalizing Hhammers name? No offense was meant.

If Hammer is indeed a jester and we eliminated he'd be the official winner but the game would continue as we battle for "second place."
I'm sticking with Hammer. The sudden Jester call seems like a Hail Mary. I think mistakes were made from within the scum room and now while Hammer acts crazy his partner is quickly trying to back-peddle it and jester is just a convenient way to turn.

Personally I don't think Hammer is scum, or a jester. He's a learning player and is quick to reveal things unless coached (I know, I was scum with him). If he was a scum rolecop and learned that Steele is a town commuter, his scum team would have told him to keep it a secret.
Him revealing that means he's excited to have found something tangible, and is under the assumption commuter is a bad thing (despite me making him a town commuter in like two of my games).
Steele also is not reading to me as scum, just suspicious. Not knowing who blue Link is (literally the Link from the two biggest Zelda games ever, highest votes games in history) is a stretch, yet somehow he knows who Tingle is? Tingle. Ya, that's weird. I don't know where he first appears, but I don't remember him in the old games that Steele listed as his main recollections.
Anywho, those pointing fingers at Hammer to be a jester are seemingly very trigger happy, and Mos/ Kris knows better than to listen to a noob player like Hammer and take his claims at face value. Throwing out a wild idea like a jester too, one word that always starts a witch hunt...
Mongo saying cult leader is also gas. However, and this is down to me being ignorant and not paying much attention this game - did Hammer claim to be a rolecop? Or just state he couldn't target Steele? I missed that, and that is the only way I could see Hammer being a cult leader and knowing he missed his target.
I'm thinking Kris is sus, her surviving night one kill attempt and then getting on the Hammer wagon, makes me think N1 was a bluff and she's using the cover to fly under the radar.
I could tell you I'll go back and reread everything for clues but I won't. I'm probably way way way off and what I'm saying now has no context. Or does it? Classic Hype.

So......what are we doing, because we are back into the same rut we were in when the day started, and night is coming.
Just to remind you all, since it's been a while since we played, the bad guys, kill us good guys, during the night. We have leads and are getting side tracked by the cult leader and arguing about the color blue.
There are a lot of you who are hitting the brakes on the game as soon as we start to move forward, just letting you clowns know I see you 👀

It’s my view that either a player is a link (and thus town) or not a link. Not a link is not a town.
So if Hammer’s not a link, he’s not a town. If he IS third party, I don’t think he is a link. Thus, can’t be only links so can’t be town win. Why have a third party that precludes a town win. Jester seems unlikely.
Either Hammer’s town or scum. I’m keeping my vote there.

I pointed out how suspicious it was that he was openly suspicious of me, but yet he went after Steve with his ability instead of me when, if he was thinking I was suspicious, why didn't he act on them? |
