Re: Frame job. Who is being framed? Is it you? Rat? Me? If you have info here, we need to hear it.

Re: The tracker. You don't want to reveal names because you fear the scum will go after them, but how certain are you that the tracker is town?

That is a good question since a tracker can be used to find the doctor and mosler was a watcher. Doesn't mean they are scum but it is something to keep in mind.

Hype had a weird ass power that could be really helpful once or twice but negative utility overall. This does explain why he didn't vote at all.

I'm guessing Hammer didn't visit rat if he's voting him. I want to hear rat reply before I vote him but I am fully ready to support this if his answer isn't convincing. We can't keep letting scum snipe us at night without at least trying to get them out.

With a watcher, a tracker, and a role cop it sounds like we don't have a normal cop but do have a Godfather. I'd put dollars to cents that it's probably Rat and that's why he's dissuading people from targeting him at night.

That said, has *anyone* gotten anything else? It seems pretty late game to run on circumstantial evidence.

Not really. When I was Godfather in the cowboy game I kept the cop alive the whole time because it wouldn't effect me, Caff kept screaming that everyone was clean and he was going crazy. That's why I'm thinking Rat's "don't target me" thing is fluff.

And he's exactly the kind of guy who'd play with his food.

OK but you're comparing keeping a regular cop alive as a godfather, to keeping a *role cop* alive as a godfather. You see the problem here?

You said it yourself that you think there's a godfather, so why on earth would they keep the one guy who can suss them out?

Hubris. Thus far Hammer has been right as far as we know after he not only pointed out that you were a commuter but that you weren't using it night one, right? A watcher and tracker in the same game isn't unheard of, is it? A role cop on top of that seems a little overkill but we can't even catch one scum 3 days in so clearly there's a piece to this puzzle that's missing and I don't think voting out Hammer solves anything right now.

Consider this, even if he is sniffing people out for scum, there's still at least one more mafia member left- so it's almost better at this point to give him the benefit of the doubt while we try to find either the real scum or his partner. Because once his partner (if he is scum) can't kill, we'll know who to block/target/redirect etc right? That's my logic here.

Man I don't like this Mongo. I'm torn as to whether you're trying to protect him or pocket him right now...

I've never denied that Hammer correctly called me as a commuter or that I didn't use it on night 1. That's not what we're debating here but a few times now I've seen it pop back up. I'm not sure why it's a thing, really. It's coming off like a distractionary tactic.

Yes, he was right - THAT'S the worrying thing. He's a role cop. I'm baffled that more people aren't suspicous of this fact to be honest.

I'm also a little miffed at his style of play - especially if he IS town. He's called out TWO roles so far, roles that scum now know exist. So he's basically doing their work for them, if he's not a fully paid-up member.

Your last sentence is really worrying me too. So you're saying that with someone right here who - AT BEST - looks hella scummy, we should just go "ah but even if he is scum, there's someone else too so let's look for them, this other person who we have NO info about"

My concern is if we vote off Hammer and he flips town. Now we've got a Godfather and only that tracker left to do the work, and clearly he or she hasn't found that person. Then what? Heck it might be game over if we vote for the wrong person at this point, usually you keep better track of this stuff, lol.

Also, unrelated- is Kris still playing? I'm a little weirded out that we're on day 5 with so little progress. At this point I'd rather we work together a bit more than play like Rob with are cards completely on our chests.

That's not aimed at you Steele, you're making logical arguments and trying to come up with something- besides your ability is defensive so it can't really be used to scumhunt.

My hunches have not been working out so my ability has not be getting me anywhere. I can tell you who MIGHT be town from what I've been doing (if you are assuming that Hammer is scum and his partner has been doing the killing while he role checks)- but if Hammer is town then it's still up in the air.
