‘They are always late! It’s ridiculous!’
Archie muttered to himself as he paced back and forth the hallway, and he tugged at his jacket before he glanced at his reflection in a framed poster. Then he nearly jumped as the skull masked visage of Moloch appeared behind him. He spun around, and the brute stepped closer as a huge hand lifted to make a fist.
Sinclair stepped from nowhere, a hand laid on that broad shoulder.
‘The Children of the Fall are never late, Archie. We appear exactly when we mean to.’
Archie frowned, and started to say something but thought better of it as Moloch growled. He glanced at him, and stepped back with a quick glance at Godfrey. She waved a hand, amused it seemed.
‘Don’t mind Moloch, he is just angry with Spike.’
Archie nodded, and he cleared his throat as he lifted his mic.
‘Yes, there has been a lot of buzz about this match as Moloch is known as a tag team specialist but now he is going to be facing one of the most decorated, one of the most elite, and legendary competitors in the XHF in Spike Kane.
What are your thoughts going into this match?’
Moloch stared at him, growling.
‘Ne jemi Skuadra e Vdekjes Oblivion! Na nxorrën nga jeta jonë e vdekshme dhe na bënë armë! Armët për të luftuar legjendat, për të luftuar perënditë, për t'i dhënë fund të gjitha gjërave!
Kështu që nuk më intereson se sa legjendar është Spike! Nuk më intereson sa tituj ka fituar! Do ta thyej për atë që ka bërë!’
Archie blinked, thinking that was likely the most words he had ever heard the grim Moloch say. He turned to Sinclair confused, and she shrugged.
‘He says: We are the Oblivion Death Squad! We were plucked from our mortal lives, and we were made into weapons! Weapons to fight legends, to fight gods, to bring the end to all things!
So I don't care how legendary Spike is! I don't care how many titles he has won! I will break him for what he has done!
Archie nodded, and he looked between them.
‘There are some who would say that Mormo deserved what happened to him. The ODS were very involved in what Donzig did to Spi–’
Archie yelped as Moloch grabbed him, he slammed him against the wall as his fingers tightened. He leaned closer, and Sinclair sighed before she pressed a hand against his chest as she whispered to him. Moloch shoved him, and Sinclair arched a brow.
‘Spike can be angry all he wants. But what kind of fool would trust the Scourge? He walked into that with his eyes open, everyone knows what Donzig is! He is a scorpion, it is his nature.’
Archie looked confused, and then cleared his throat.
‘Spike doesn’t see it that way.’
‘Spike nuk e sheh kështu? Spike nuk e sheh kështu? Kush i intereson se si e sheh Spike!
Spike Kane ecën këtu si të ishte një lloj shenjtori! Sikur i detyrohet diçka, sepse ka vuajtur!
Të gjitha vuajtjet e tij janë të ndikuar nga vetvetja! Ai është po aq i poshtër, po aq i lig dhe po aq i tmerrshëm sa secili prej nesh!’
Moloch slammed a fist against his chest, growling and snarling. And Sinclair nodded as Archie seemed to wish he was anywhere else but before the angry shock trooper of the Void. The Baroness turned towards her, lips curled into a small smirk.
‘Spike doesn't see it that way? Spike doesn't see it that way? Who cares how Spike sees it!
Spike Kane walks around here like he is some kind of saint! Like he is owed something, because he has suffered!
All of his suffering is self inflicted! He is every bit as vile, as wicked, and as terrible as any of us!
He is correct. Spike is like any other mortal in XHF, he walks around here acting like he is entitled, and that he is untouched by the wickedness of this place! But the fact are, all of his problems with his family? With his fellow wrestlers? With his bosses? Those are all caused by Spike! Because you see Spike is a hypocrite.’
Archie Rude stared, and Sinclair silenced him with a wave of her hand.
‘Spike Kane’s entire life has been ruled by his own selfish desires, by his own greed, his own desire for glory! And yet he wants to sit there on his bed at the weed farm and stare at some note from one of his insipid by-blows! And he wants you to feel he is righteous? That he has some right to vengeance?
What about all of the victims of the God of Xtreme! What about all the terrible things Spike Kane has done! That his fellow Bang Brothers have done! Their sins lay scattered around the XHF, but he seems to think he deserves justice because he played the game against the Great Dark and lost?’
Archie looked between them as Sinclair paused, and Moloch sniffed behind his mask. Archie tugged at his tie, shrugging before he looked back to the Baroness.
‘Spike Kane can play the victim, but he will not find justice of vengeance in Austin! What he will find is the wrath of the Oblivion Death Squad! He will find the cold hard truths of the Children of the Fall! And when we are done with him? Perhaps we should turn our attention to the things that he loves!
Though he doesn’t love any of them as much as he does himself.’
Archie started to speak, but Moloch shoved him once more before the pair turned to go. They walked down the hall, disappearing into the shadows. Archie glared after them, shaking his head as he adjusted his tie.
