The Xtreme Hardcore Federation Presents:
Eve of Champions
March 26th, 2008
HH Humphrey Metrodome
Minneapolis, Minnesota
Stadium Capacity: 64,121
*Following
a short video intro for the event we open up to the night's frenzied
arena crowd with the official Eve of Champions event banner on the Xtreme-Tron,
explosions going off all over the place and the usual show theme for
our weekly broadcast playing loudly across the PA System. We then zoom
over to ringside moments later and the theme ends as the action is
about to begin for tonight with the first in-ring activity on this
week's live edition of Eve of Champions....*
*All The Small Things by Blink 182 plays as Minibadboy makes his way
down to the ring on his motorscooter and with his tradition half gallon
of milk in hand and starts sucking it down like crazy at the top of the
ramp as te crowd goes nuts. Minibadboy whellies down the ramp on
scooter and then slides into the ring. Calling for more half gallons of
milk from he ringside announcer and suck the down like crazy also, while
the crowd goes nuts for one last time.*
Cole: And here comes good ole' Minibadboy, ready to lock up for one final occasion with a former ECF adversary of his in the infamous Gravedigger.
*"Forgive Me" by Versus The World Plays as Gravedigger's Xtreme-Tron video plays as the opening words hit across the PA.
Red eyes just keep my heart beating
your secrets safe with me
just drive, Ive broken our mirror
so our past wont look so tempting
GD
walks out to the ramp looking happy and cocky as ever, and eggs the
crowd on with the cheers. GD quickly walks down to the ring prepping
himself for the match that is about to occur, meanwhile fully
acknowledging his fans every step of the way. GD slides into the ring
as the camera pans away from the usual close up shot.
Ill swing here, Ill hang from this rope
Just at least until theyve found me
Stay Close dear, the note on the floor says
I wish that you were here
GD
climbs up to the turnbuckle and strikes his classic pose, with his arms
out stretched in a what now? position, as sparks ignite from the top,
and begin falling down from all side of the ring, as the camera begins
to pan back in on the man that is simply known as GD. GD gets down off
the turnbuckle and waits in the ring for his opponent to enter the ring
and the match to begin as the sparks stop falling from the top.*
Singles Match
Minibadboy vs. Gravedigger
Minibadboy smirks at Gravedigger as the bell sounds, and begins mocking him. Gravedigger rushes in, grappling up with MBB, and hits a Suplex on him. Gravedigger taunts at MBB telling him to get up, as he quickly does. MBB gets up on one knee, as Gravedigger comes in kicking him in the face. Gravedigger forces MBB to get up, as MBB hits a low blow coming up to his feet. Gravedigger holds his groin in pain, as he is about to fall to one knee. MBB grabs him hitting a 3/4 Neckbreaker, and makes the pinfall: One, Two, Kickout!
Cole: 3/4 facelock neckbreaker there, and he hit it good.
Gravedigger comes to his feet, looking at MBB. MBB goes for a right hand, but Gravedigger reverses it. Gravedigger comes in with right hands to the mid-section, then raises up punching MBB in the face. MBB staggers backwards, bouncing off the ropes, and as he comes back, Gravedigger lifts him over his shoulders with a Shoulder Backtoss. He looks down at MBB who is recovering, beginning to get up. MBB runs at Gravedigger lands a Spinebuster. MBB reaches the ropes, and pulls himself to his feet immediately. Kind of surprised from Gravedigger's attacks, and frustrated he runs at him as Gravedigger pulls him over with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex. MBB again comes to his feet, running at Gravedigger non-stop, and Gravedigger hits a DDT. Gravedigger grins, as MBB looks at Gravedigger, while kneeling down. MBB begins to give Gravedigger credit, then goes for a cheap shot, but Gravedigger sees it coming, and ducks underneath the right arm of MBB's. Gravedigger runs against the ropes, as MBB quickly gets to his feet, and locks in a Sleeper Hold. Gravedigger reaches for the ropes, but is unable to reach them. He drops down to the mat hitting an Inverted Jawbreaker onto MBB. Gravedigger pulls MBB to his feet, and pushes him away, and hits a Dropkick. Gravedigger pins MBB: One, Two, Thr...Kickout!
Cole: An almost good looking dropkick gets a two count. Yep.
King: Both men looking fit and in shape for this match thus far.
MBB barely makes it out. He comes to his feet and turns around facing Gravedigger getting a kick to the mid-section. Gravedigger pulls him in, hellaciously hitting the Sky High, and pins MBB again: One, Two, THREE!
Winner via Pinfall: Gravedigger!
Cole: Oh man I like that man's technique. Up the pace, create a sense of relative comfort within the match then bring out the big hit while your opponent is two steps ahead.
King: Yep Gravedigger's style definitely bodes well for his chances heading into Night of Champions itself against a man as big and imposing as Red Fusion...
*Jet's "Rip it Up" starts pounding out of the PA system as Nelly Angel
comes bursting out of the back. He runs out onto the entranceway as his
manager Joey Hawke slowly walks behind him. Nelly then runs down the
ramp and slides into the ring, ultra pumped for his match while Joey
Hawke slowly finds his place at ringside.*
Cole: And former Junior-Heavyweight Champion, Nelly Angel!
*The familiar sound of the intro and classic bass line for Van
Halens's "Running with the Devil" comes over the P.A. system as the
house lights go out and a golden hue of lights over takes the arena.
Is
seen on the Xtreme Tron as the entrance way fills with a rain of gold
pyro JFK emerges from the rain of gold. He's wearing his "Quality
Tennessee Sour Mash Asskicking" t-shirt and his wrestling gear that
consist of black tights and white trim with the same logo as the
t-shirt has on the back. The right leg has a wild looking joker print
on it (kind of like the Graphix logo) the left leg has J.F.K going down
the center, shin protector boots and knee pads all black with white
highlights and his fists taped up. He has the XHF European Championship
around his waist.
I live my life like theres no tomorrow
And all Ive got I had to steal
Least I don't need to beg or borrow
Yes I'm living at a pace that kills
JFK
gives a sly cocky grin towards the crowd who are reacting with a mix
reaction half seem to cheer half seam to boo. JFK cross's his arms in
the X pose and grins behind his fists as he slowly lets both his middle
fingers out mocking the sXe pose. He comes walking down the ramp way
and rips his shirt up over his head tossing it to the crowd then
pausing as the entire crowd sings with the song.
Runnin with the devil!
Running with the devil!
JFK
takes his time getting to the ring stairs, he takes the stairs one by
one as Eddy Van Halen rips the first mini guitar solo. He ducks between
the middle and top rope to enter the ring and heads straight for the
center of the ring once again doing the X pose with his arms crossed
before him then he once more lifts his middle fingers we see him mouth
the words "Do Somethin"
I found the simple life ain't so simple
When I jumped out on that road
I got no love, no love you'd call real
Ain't got nobody waiting at home
He
rips the title off from around his waist takes a long hard look at it
then hands it over to the ref. He then goes to the corner and starts to
bounce from foot to foot waiting to get the match on it's way.*
Singles Match
Nelly Angel vs. James Franklin Karn (JFK)
Nelly Angel and JFK start out by circling the ring, jumping around a
little bit in order to get their muscles loosened up, and in the zone.
These two competitors want to be fully prepared because many say its
half the battle, and without preparation, skill is nothing. The bell
rings and out pops Nelly with a running punch to the head! JFK
goes down quickly and Nelly jumps on him, giving him lefts and
rights to the side of his head. JFK covers his head, but Nelly
voices a yell full of underdog motivation and determination. The crowd loves it,
and after about ten punches, Nelly gets up, yells with his arms
up, and gets uproar of applause. Nelly helps JFK to his feet and
Irishwhips him to the ropes. Just as JFK bounces off the ropes, Nelly runs for a clothesline, but JFK ducks it, and as hes running
away, he grabs Nelly's head and hits a diamond cutter!
Cole: This match is going to be pretty good.
King: Yeah, I can feel the fight in each other.
JFK
nips up, and he just crouches and waits for Nelly himself to get up. As
soon as Nelly gets up, JFK sprints full speed towards Nelly but Nelly falls down intentionally while trips, and catches
JFK in a very quick and agile STF! Nelly has that move nice and
tight on JFK and he's looking to try to find a way where he can reach
the ropes, and while he is close, hes not close enough, and his arm is
stretched as far as it can possibly go. After a while, JFK grabs the
ropes, and Nelly is forced off of him. Nelly picks up JFK
and hits him with a huge spinebuster! This could be the end!
Pin: One Two Thr-KICKOUT by JFK!
Cole: I don't know how he could have kicked out.
King: Yeah, the back of his head must kill ZING!
Nelly is getting ready to end the match now! Nelly picks up
JFK to his feet and picks him up for an Interviewer's Invert, but JFK
leapfrogs it! He lands on his feet and turns around. A shocked Nelly turns
around into a Double Arm Implant DDT! PIN: ONE, TWO, THREE!
Winner via Pinfall: JFK!
Cole: What a great match!
King: Failed assassination attempt by Nelly.
*The
lights dim and the crowd goes silent as the sound of footsteps begin to
overtake the PA System and words begin rolling across the Xtreme-Tron:
It only takes one
One man to change the course of History
Your Hero Has Arrived
The
stage begins to smoke up and the spotlight shines on the entrance way.
The crowd begins to cheer softly as Trapt's "Stand Up" begins to play
and Kris Quake comes running out onto the stage full of energy. He runs
from one side of the stage to the other playing to the crowd and
cuaseing there cheers to grow louder and louder before finally stopping
back at the top of the ramp and he begins to walk down the ramp slowly
slapping hands with the fans.
You planted the seed
How my anger has grown
Got an feeling inside that I can't seem to control
You wanna see a reaction
Come on and cut me down
You've gone as far as I'll go
Now you're crossing the line and I am letting you know
Well here's your reaction.
Kris
Quake reaches the ring and leaps up onto the ring apron and looks
around at the crowd that is now cheering loudly as he slowly reaches
down and pulls the XHF Tag Team Championship from around his waist and
raises it in the air causeing the crowd to cheer even louder. He lets
loose a small grin before he leaps over the top rope into the ring and
spins around with his arms spread out.*Cole: And here comes one Kris Quake, fully intent on sending the Revolutionary Redneck out on a losing singles note of sorts this evening.
*Suddenly, the arena is plunged into total darkness and the
crowd looks
on intently with anticipation. At this point, an ominous "Red Fist"
symbol appears across the Xtreme-Tron and accompanied by it is the
loud, roaring
sound of guitar riffs beginning to kick in across the building's sound
system. Mere seconds later, the XT screen abruptly shifts to pure
static and the
tension builds as after a flurry of drums kick in, the following words
begin to echo throughout the building...
"Survivor...,
Survivor....
One more goddamn day when I know what I want,
And my want will be considered tonight, considered tonight,
Just another day when all that I want,
Will mark me as a sinner tonight, I'm a sinner tonight, yeah..."
*At these very words, BOOM! An overwhelming explosion rocks
the arena to it's core and in turn, the entire crowd is on it's feet
with fists
raised and defeaning screams of approval as the hellraising chorus of
none other than "Ten Thousand Fists" by Disturbed cuts onto the PA in
full
force! At this, the curtain flips back and without any further adieu,
the sadistically smirking figures of XHF Legend Rage, with wife Torrie
Wilson by his
side, steps out and onto the top of the stage! Thereafter, the duo
struts fiercely on down the ramp to an overwhelming chorus of cheers
from this entire
capacity crowd of XHF fans joining us here tonight. Moments later he
finally reaches the the ring area where Torrie remains cheering on
below, and upon
climbing inside the self proclaimed "Revolutionary Redneck" sets off to
do his signature Four Corners Salute taunt from each and every corner
of the
ring, defiantly raising both his fists and a set of all too familiar
middle fingers to the crowd. Afterward the former X*Crown and U.S.
Champion, among other
accolades, moves to lean up against a corner turnbuckle facing the
entranceway. From there as a sly, wily look of veteran determination
crosses his face he
turns his eyes upward toward the curtains, anxiously awaiting the
emergence of any and all opposition for himself this evening...*
Singles Match
Kris Quake vs. Rage
Kris Quake and Rage are in the ring and the bell rings. They circle the ring and are ready to get it on. The match starts with Rage and Quake locking up. Rage and Quake use their strength to try to get the advantage but to Rage's advantage, he pushes Quake to the corner and he runs for a clothesline but he ducks it and spears Rage to the ground. He follows up with punches like crazy and then gets up. He grabs Rage and gets him into a single legged Boston Crab also known as the half crab and Rage begins to give a little groan in frustration. He grabs the bottom rope and the referee counts for the rope break: One... Two.... Three... Four.... Quake lets go. Rage and Kris gradually get to their feet and they pace themselves from each other. Quake then runs at Rage and Rage hits him with the kitchen sink move but upon falling down, Kris Quake also gets him into a school boy: One... Two.... Kickout.
Cole: This match is intense and I think it will only get hotter
King: Quake is slightly more technical than Rage but they're both brawlers for the most part. I can't wait to see how that builds up by the end of this one.
Quake and Rage get up from the ground fairly slowly because getting up from pins are hard to do and so is getting up from kitchen sinks. Quake and Rage trade punches and Quake tries to squeeze in a kick but Rage catches it. Rage follows it up with a clothesline, knocking Quake down. Quake shakes his head and tries to get up but Rage follows it up once more with an elbow drop Quake holds onto his stomach and Rage begins kicking on Quake's stomach, then flipping him the bird. Rage goes for the pin: One... Two... Kickout. Rage picks up Quake and in doing so, Quake takes the advantage to kick Rage in the face! Rage staggers back and holds his face in sheer pain and Quake is able to get to his feet. When Rage turns around to face Quake, a vicious spinebuster is given and Rage is on the ground!
Cole: Quake is doing good for himself here!
King: That he is so far.
Quake is kicking Rage on the ground and at this point, Rage is just trying to defend himself as getting on the offensive now would be next to impossible. Quake picks up Rage and irishwhips him to the ropes but Rage reverses! Quake is sent to the ropes and is sent back to one of Rages huge clotheslines but he ducks it! Rage turns around and Quake hits him with a devestating suplex! Quake goes for the pin over Rage: One... Two... Thre-NO, Kickout! Quake shakes his head in absolute disbelief. He thought he had the win in the bag but still, its going to happen and its actually going to happen right now! Quake raises his hand which instantly elicits many crowd boos and he brings Rage groggily to his feet. Quake raises Rage in the air and goes for the Quake Time but when he slams him down from the fireman's carry position, Rage spins it around at the last possible second for a rollup pin! One... Two... THREE!!!
Winner via Pinfall: Rage!
Cole: Rage wins with a roll-up and goes out on top in his last ever singles match in XHF!
King: Yep looks like the old legend still has some real fight left in him for old time's sake after all!
Cole: Indeed he does, and hopefully he can pull off something similar this Sunday when the prestigious X*Crown itself is on the line in 7 Deadly Sins!
*"All about the Benjamins" by Puff Daddy blasts over the P.A. Obsidian
walks out eating nachos. He's wearing an expensive looking coat and
snazzy sunglasses. GQ comes out behind him, following and strutting.
Obsidian walks down to the ring, still eating the nachos and dropping
cheese on his jacket. He climbs in the ring and gives a thumbs up to
the crowd.*
*As the lights in the arena flicker, the fans jump to their feet in
anticipation. The blaring opening guitars of Stone Sour's "Reborn"
begin
to blast through the speakers, and as this happens, the following is
played over the Xtreme Tron, followed by several in-ring clips of MGK
facing various
opponents.
Finally, MGK makes his way out from backstage, dressed in his ring
attire, with black tape covering up his hands and wrists. In white, the
letters KO are
written on the backs of his hands on the tape. He stands on the
entrance stage for a few seconds, before making his way down the ramp,
occasionally stopping to
glance at the ring, and the fans. He then gets onto the ring apron, and
enters the ring. Dropping down to one knee in the center of the ring,
he crosses his
arms over his chest to form an X, as a blue spotlight falls down on him
alone, the rest of the arena caught up in darkness. MGK then stands up
and pounds his
chest, warranting a cheer from the fans. As MGK begins to pace the
ring, his music fades, and he goes to his corner and begins to hop up
and down silently as
he waits for the match to begin.*
Non-Title Singles Match
Obsidian vs. MGK
As the bell rings both participants circle the ring a bit before moving in and locking up. They each struggle for a moment before breaking off and moving apart, they circle again before locking up, each man trying to get behind the other, but neither get anywhere as they break off again. MGK moves in again but as they go to lock up Obsidian knees him in the gut before slamming an elbow into his face, and Obsidian then takes him down with a vicious DDT. Obsidian soon sits up next to MGK before climbing to his feet. Thereafter he slaps MGK over the head a couple of times before pulling him to his feet and throwing him into the corner. Obsidian follows up with a chop across MGK's open chest, MGK screams out as Obsidian hits another, he laughs as he taunts to the crowd somewhat a few moments later. Obsidian goes for another chop but MGK blocks it this time and throws a chop of his own into Obsidian's chest, followed by another and another, slowly knocking Obsidian back into the middle of the ring. He then throws Obsidian into the ropes and hits him with a dropkick as he comes back. Obsidian stumbles back to his feet as MGK takes him down again with a running knee. Yet again though Obsidian staggers back to his feet as MGK tries to go for his own DDT but Obsidian tries to lift him up to counter it and then Obsidian instead shifts his own weight, hitting a tornado DDT.
Cole: MGK looks to have our Junior-Heavyweight Champ against the ropes already.
King: Yes but we've all seen how quickly Obsidian can turn things around in any given matchup so I wouldn't count him out just yet, not by any means.
MGK climbs to his feet before stomping on Obsidian as he lays on the floor. MGK goes to the top of Obsidian and hits him with a leg drop before attempting a pin, but Obsidian kicks out at two much to MGK's chagrin. MGK then pulls Obsidian to his feet, at which point he knees Obsidian in the gut before throwing him into the corner. MGK then moves to the other side of the ring before running towards Obsidian and launches himself into the air looking to hit a stinger slash type maneuver, but at the last moment Obsidian moves out of the way and staggers into the middle of the ring. MGK in turn smashes inadvertantly into the turnbuckle and staggers out backwards nearby. Obsidian momentarily comes to his senses long enough to hit MGK with a german suplex. Both men lay motionless on the ground as the ref checks on both men. He reluctantly starts a ten count, before Obsidian starts to move as the ref's count reaches five. He's soon followed by MGK as each man uses the ropes to climb to their feet. MGK is the first to move as he runs towards Obsidian, but Obsidian wisely sees him coming just in time and runs at him diving as he goes for a spear but MGK acrobatically leaps right over him to prevent it! Obsidian stops himself against the ropes but MGK comes up behind him and grabs him looking to hit him with a russian leg drop but Obsidian blocks it with an elbow to MGK's gut. Obsidian turns around and tries for a suplex but MGK slips down behind him and takes him down with a reverse DDT.
Cole: MGK is really taking it to Obsidian.
King: Yeah but he's still not gotten the win to show for it just yet.
MGK rolls over as he pulls himself to his feet, he looks down at Obsidian in the center of the ring before walking over to the top of his adversary. He stands there with his feet on either side of Obsidian's head before looking out at the crowd. He starts to swing his arms before running to one side of the ring, bouncing back jumping over Obsidian and he then bounces off the other ropes and goes to drop a huge elbow onto Obsidian, but Obsidian rolls out of the way as MGK's elbow hits the unforgiving mat surface below. MGK screams while holding his arm as he gets to his feet. Obsidian is slowly getting to his feet too as MGK runs at him but Obsidian catches him in stride with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex throwing MGK clear across the ring! Obsidian lays on the mat for a moment before getting up again. On the other side of the ring MGK is slowly getting up as well. Obsidian pushes MGK into the corner as he starts pounding on his back relentlessly. The ref comes in trying to get Obsidian to stop and let MGK out but Obsidian pushes him away and as the ref's back is turned he hits MGK with a blatent low blow. The ref turns back and starts shouting at Obsidian but he just ignores him as he pulls MGK out of the corner and hits him with a fame-asser, aka the Emblem!
Cole: Damnit Obsidian going to cheat MGK once again out of a well-deserved victory!
Obsidian makes the cover as he hooks MGK's leg. The ref moves in and starts to count: One, Two, Thre-MGK somehow kicks out at the last split second possible! Obsidian's eyes go wide as he can't believe what's just unfolded. Lividly he then goes for another cover but gets the same result yet again though! Obsidian gets up and starts arguing with the referee, shouting at him that it was a three count both times, before starting to tell him how to count properly as he backs the ref angrily into the corner. Meanwhile behind Obsidian's back MGK is slowly getting to his feet. He sees Obsidian in the corner and runs in, but luckily Obsidian catches a quick glimpse of this and manages to dive out of the way in time as MGK instead crashes head on into the referee! MGK looks down at his mistake, as Obsidian comes up behind him and throws him out of the ring altogether. Obsidian follows him out as he picks MGK up and looks to throw him into the barricade, but MGK instead throws Obsidian himself into it, before stomping on him repeatedly. He finally pulls Obsidian up but Obsidian suddenly pokes him in the eye and pushes him into the steel steps nearby. Obsidian desparately staggers away at this point, clearly having more than enough of MGK as he walks around to the announce tables behind the ring and more specifically toward the time keeper area itself. He pulls out a chair and starts to walk back towards MGK moments later. Obsidian raises the chair to hit MGK as he is getting up beside the steps, but MGK suddenly launches at him and hits Obsidian square across the head with a massive clothesline! Obsidian drops the chair as he falls on the floor, and MGK bends down and picks it up shaking his head in utter disgust. Just then though the loud sound of a bell being rung is overheard as MGK looks up confused. Back inside the ring the ref has finally gotten up from earlier on and is talking to the announcer, the announcer nods his head as he raises his microphone...
Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the WINNER of this match as the result of a disqualification, OBSIDIAN!
Cole: What the hell just happened?!
King: Apparently ref saw MGK with a chair in his hand and Obsidian down on the floor. He made the right call, teaches MGK not to cheat.
Cole: Not to cheat?! Come on King, it was blatently Obsidian himself who brought that damn chair in to begin with and now you're just gonna automatically pin all guilt on MGK?
King: Well we all saw what we saw Cole, speaks for itself pretty much I'd say.
Cole: ....................
*Back at ringside MGK looks on in horror at the ref, as he starts shouting at him but no to avail regarding the true explanation for all this. MGK then slides into the ring with the chair still in hand and starts to argue with him, pointing at the chair as he does before pointing at Obsidian who remains down outside the ring. The ref firmly shakes his head though, not agreeing at all with MGK's version of events. With a downright furious look in his eyes MGK runs one hand through his hair with frustration before taking the the chair in his hands, and slamming it straight OVER the ref's head! The ref collapses on the floor as MGK stands shouting down at him before slamming him a couple more times with the chair for full effect! MGK then finally drops the chair still staring down at the ref in silence before slowly climbing out of the ring and starting to back up the ramp, in the process staring back down at the carnage he has left in and around the ring as it were. Just before reaching the curtains above he makes a final motion towards his waist that regardless of tonight's less than legitimate result he will indeed be XHF's next X*Crown Champion come Sunday at Night of Champions VII when he gets his hands on Chris Kanyon himself once and for all. With this we slowly cut to commercial.*
*The crowd is deathly silent as the beginning guitar riffs of I Walk
Alone by Saliva hits. There are mixed reactions from the crowd, some cheers, some boos.
"I Walk
Alone!!"
As soon as the opening line is said, red,
orange and yellow multicolored pyros begin to shot from the front and
sides of the stage,
firing straight up. Then, the entire stage is engulfed in flames,
shooting from every pour of the stage.
"This television has a poison on its
breath.
This counter culture of both wicked lies and death.
It makes my eyes bleed every time I turn around.
How will they all feel when I
bring them to the ground?"
The fire splits in the middle as Mark Evil
walks out onto the stage, looking off into the crowd. He continues down
onto the ramp as
the fire builds back up. As he walks down the ramp, the fire behind him
slowly dies down.
And I'll say.
I walk for miles inside this pit of danger.
A place where no one follows me, I walk alone.
Huh!
Mark Evil stops just before the ring and
slowly walks over to the stairs. He slowly walks up them and steps over
the top rope to get
into the ring. He then raises he arms, and as soon as they drop, the
stage and ring posts erupt in bright red pyros, shooting off in all
directions. Mark then
stops and looks around in the crowd with an evil smirk on his face. He
then stands and waits for the match to begin.
I'm sick of all these people
talkin' out their heads.
I've never understood a damn thing that they said.
From words to actions never
knowing what they're about.
I guess I'll have to chew them up and spit them out.
"1, 2, 3, 4!!!"
*Survival of the Sickest by Saliva starts blasting over the PA system. Pyros are going off on the stage all over the place.
"I'm a hand up Mona Lisa's dress
I'm a smile on every criminal you'll ever acquit,
I'm the things you've done you'd never admit
Cause one hand is on the bible and the other's in shit."
"But right now, your faceless in the crowd
I'm shouting out loud
The one you counted out of the game
Oh wow!
Take a good look at me now
Should have never had a doubt
Is that you I hear screamin' my name?"
Joe Everyman then comes out onto the stage. He looks into the crowd,
holding his arm up with belt in hand. Maria Williams walks out from
behind Joe and looks
into the crowd too. Joe gives Maria a kiss on the cheek as they both
start to walk down the ramp.
"I'm a roller
I'm a rider
I'm number one motherfucking survivor"
"So move over
I'm a driver
And I'm high and I'm keep gettin higher"
"Yeah yeah yeah!
Yeah yeah yeah!"
Joe Everyman and Maria Williams continue walking down the ramp
looking into the crowd. Joe then comes to the end of the ramp and does
a Brock Lesnar esk jump.
"I'm the one you thought that you could erase
But a predator that's faster than the food that it chased,
You fall off the horse you brought to the race
I'll be the one who's flyin' by ya kickin' shit in your face."
"And right now, your faceless in the crowd
I'm shouting out loud
The one you counted out of the game
Oh wow!
Take a good look at me now
Should have never had a doubt
Is that you I hear screamin' my name?"
Joe Everyman walks up the steps and climbs into the ring. He looks
around in the crowd and hold up his arm. Then loud blue pyros shoot
from the ring posts. Joe
then stands and waits.*
"I'm a roller
I'm a rider
A number one motherfucking survivor"
"So move over
I'm the driver
And I'm high and I'm gonna keep gettin higher"
"Yeah yeah yeah!
Yeah yeah yeah!"
Super Violent "Three Stages of Hell" Match
Fall 1- Xtreme Elevation
Fall 2- Highway to Hell Triple Cage
Fall 3- Potter's Field
Joe Everyman vs. Mark Evil
Announcer: This following match is the Three
Stages Of Hell "tribute" match! Now, much like with XHF's first ever Night of Champions main event this match will be a three fall, best of
three contest. The first
man to score two falls will win the match. The matches picked are all
specialties of the two men in this match. The first fall will be the
Xtreme Elevation
match, created by Joe Everyman. The second fall will be the Highway To
Hell Triple Cage match, created by Mark Evil. And the third and final
fall will be the
violent, relentless Potter's Field ladder match. There is another
special stipulation is this match as well. As the fans know, there is a
lot of bad blood
between Evil and Everyman; therefore, this will be their final match.
The winner of this match will win the final fall between the men. It is
a winner take
all. If the match goes to Potter's Field, above the ring will be a
briefcase. Inside will be a plaque that will read "The winner of this
trophy will
be the winner of the feud…forever." This will truly be the final match
in their illustrious feud. Now…let's get this match started.
FIRST FALL - XTREME ELEVATION
Joe and Mark stand across the ring from each other
as the scaffold structure is lowered around the ring. The cage is set
in place, as are
the scaffolds just outside of the corners of the ring. Joe and Mark
start to walk around the ring some to get a feeling for it again. As
soon as the bell
rings, Joe charges at the bigger Mark Evil. Joe jumps up and hits a
hard dropkick, but Mark only falls back against the ropes. Joe then
gets up and sees Mark
is still standing. Joe runs over and slams his forearm into Mark's
ribs. Mark just swings back and knocks Joe off his feet. Joe falls
backwards. He looks
up and barely dodges a legdrop from Mark. Mark hits his legs on the mat
and quickly stands up. He looks around, looking for Joe. He can't see
him, and
turns around to face the turnbuckle. Joe then jumps off of that
turnbuckle and hooks Mark's head. Joe uses all of his weight and spins
around, planting
Mark's head into the mat. Joe quickly rolls over for the cover.
ONE…TWO, kickout!
Cole: Man, what a sick move from Everyman!
King: Yeah, but he's going to need to do more than that to beat down Evil.
Joe then rolls out of the ring and flings up the
apron. He reaches down and grabs a steel chair and a trash can. He then
slides them into
the ring. He then moves back and brings a table out with him. The crowd
is thrilled to see the table. Joe slides it into the ring and sees that
Mark Evil is
still down. Joe then turns around and taunts the crowd, and the crowd
cheers. Joe then turns around and is met by a steel chair to the head.
Mark Evil is
standing with the chair in the ring. Joe collapses to the floor. Mark
raises his arms and is booed by the fans. Joe rolls over and grabs the
apron to help
himself up. As soon as he can see Mark's feet, he grabs them and flips
Mark onto this back. Joe then quickly slides into the ring and grabs
the trashcan.
He set it up in the corner, between the second and top rope. He walks
over to Mark, who quickly punches Joe in the hip. Joe stumbles back as
Mark stands up.
Mark then runs at Joe and lowers his shoulder. He shoulder checks Joe,
who goes back first into the trashcan. Joe then stumbles out and Mark
locks his arms
around Joe. Mark then snaps back and launches Joe with a Belly-to-Belly
Suplex. Mark crawls over, hooks the near leg and covers. ONE…TWO…TH,
kickout!
Cole: Oh man, this is a side of Mark Evil I haven't seen in a long while.
King: Well, of course you haven't. Neither of these men have wrestled here in a long time.
Cole: Well, it seems they have both improved greatly.
Mark slams his hand on the ground. He then stands
up and grabs the table. He starts setting it up as Joe grabs onto the
ropes to help
himself up. After a few seconds, Mark has the table set up in the near
center of the ring. He walks over to Joe, who is now on one knee. Joe
quickly hits Mark
in the stomach with an elbow. Mark backs up and goes again. Joe then
elbows him again. Mark then swings with his hand, but Joe dodges it.
Joe quickly gets to
his feet and kicks Mark in the side. He then kicks Mark in the leg
twice and then once again in the stomach. Mark stumbles back, almost
onto the table. Joe
then charges but Mark grabs Joe by the throat. Mark quickly picks him
up and nails a sickening Chokeslam on him. Joe rolls out of the way. He
holds his stomach
in pain as Mark walks over to him. Mark picks up Joe and leans him
against the ropes. Joe then kicks Mark straight in the nuts. Mark falls
over in pain. Joe
just smiles and turns towards the corner of the ring. He climbs the
turnbuckle and reaches over to get onto the scaffold. Joe starts to
slowly climb it. Mark
sees this and quickly gets up as well. Mark goes to another corner and
begins to climb.
Cole: It seems like Joe wants to take the fight to the skies.
King: Yeah, but one of them could fall and hurt themselves. They need to remember they could have two more match after this.
Joe is the first one to the top. He walks over and
grabs the ladder that is set up in the middle. This version doesn't
have the belt
hanging from the top, but they wanted the ladder there anyway. As soon
as Mark is standing, Joe charges at him. He throws the ladder at Mark.
It hits Mark
square in the chest. Mark falls back but neither him nor the ladder
fall off. Joe then sets up the ladder in the middle again. He walks
back over and picks up
Mark. Mark then punches Joe in the face. Joe stumbles back and fights
back with a left hand. Mark then swings with both hands, hitting Joe in
the head with
both. Joe falls back onto the ladder. Mark then charges but Joe ducks.
Mark goes head first into the ladder. He falls back and Joe grabs him
by the back, as to
throw him off. Mark stops and spins Joe in front of him. Mark then
grabs Joe by the throat again. He tried to pick up Joe, but he fights
back. Joe punches Mark
in the stomach three times and then grabs Mark by the throat too! Joe
swings his left arm and bats down Mark's arm. Joe then manages to pick
up Mark and
throws him off the top of the structure! Mark falls and goes right
through the table. The crowd collectively gasps as Joe falls backwards
onto the steel. Mark
is motionless in the wreckage of the table. Joe slowly gets up and
slides the ladder over to the edge. He then climbs it. Every person in
the crowd rise to
their feet, cheering on Joe. Joe then gets to the top of the ladder. He
gains his balance and yells at the top of this lungs. He then jumps off
and hits a
Swanton Bomb onto Mark Evil! Joe just lays on top as the referee
counts. ONE…TWO…THREE!
Announcer: Here is your winner of the first fall, Joe Everyman!
Cole: How are they going to be able to continue? That was a thirty-foot fall!
King: They are going to have to. They both have a long road ahead.
SECOND FALL - HIGHWAY TO HELL
Just then, ringside workers collapse the scaffold.
The cage is moved out of the way and the ring is cleared. Joe is
sitting in the corner,
still out of breath. He is just looking off into the crowd as all the
lights die down low. Red spotlights glows from the ceiling to emulate
the Highway To
Hell's cage's size. The cages are slowly lowered into place. Mark Evil
is finally standing up in the corner. The referee sets up the ladder in
the
middle of the ring. The bell then sounds. Mark quickly grabs the ladder
and charges at Joe with it. He lowers it and slams it into Joe's head.
Joe just
falls over, motionless.
Cole: Oh my god!
King: Joe wasn't even standing yet. That Swanton must have taken more of out him than he needed.
Mark then slowly sets up the ladder. Joe rolls
into what seems like the fetal position, holding his stomach. Mark
starts climbing the
ladder into the second cage, a Hell in a Cell esk structure. The second
cage is full of weapons, including a hangman's noose hanging from the
middle. Mark
stands and waits for Joe. Joe looks up and sees Mark standing there.
Joe slowly stands up and moves towards the ladder. He gains the
strength to climb it. Mark
backs off from the entrance. Joe finally gets up into the second cage.
He rolls onto the top and Mark nails Joe in the chest with a steel
chair. Joe holds is
chest in pain. Mark then puts the chair down like a golf club behind
Joe's head. He then brings it up and swings it down, slamming it into
the back of
Joe's head. Mark holds his arms up in triumph as the crowd boos him.
Joe gains a little momentum and kicks out Mark's leg. Mark falls back
onto the
cage. Joe grabs onto the ground and pushes himself up. He stands up but
almost falls over. Joe then grabs the noose, but Mark kicks Joe back
with such force,
Joe almost falls back into the entrance hole. The crowd collectively
gasps.
Cole: That could have been the kill shot for Joe there.
King: Exactly…that's what Evil wants.
Mark walks over to Joe and grabs him by the
throat. Mark gains a large amount of momentum. He picks up Joe over his
head and slams him
into the side of the cage. Mark then picks up Joe again and does it
again. Mark then grabs the noose and puts it around Joe's neck. Mark
then unties it
from the top of the cage and ties it around his shoulder. Mark then
starts climbing into the third and final cage. He pulls Joe's body with
him. Mark drags
himself into the third cage. Joe is still on the ground but the noose
is still around his neck. Mark then pulls himself deeper into the third
cage, picking Joe
off the ground. Mark holds his arm back and hangs Joe for a few seconds
before dropping him down. The crowd boos Evil. Evil then gets a sick
smirk on his face
and forcefully pulls Joe up into the opening. Joe is holding onto the
noose as he pulled up.
Cole: This is barbaric!
King: Evil has to win this fall and will do anything to do it!
Mark finally pulls Joe into the final cage, which
is full of weapons. Joe starts coughing up blood and just falls to the
mat, 40 feet
below. Mark then pulls himself over the top of the final cell. Joe is
still lying on the inside with the noose around his neck. Mark then
pulls his arm away,
pulling Joe up against the cage. Mark then looks down onto the second
cage. He looks to almost jump, but get pulled back. Joe dropped all of
this weight onto
the cage flooring below him, pulling Mark off his feet. Joe stands up,
with rage in his eyes, still bleeding from the forehead and takes off
the noose. Mark
then quickly unties the rope from his arm as Joe climbs out of the
cage. Joe then charges Evil and spears him! Both men fall from the top
cage to the top of
the first cage. Mark's momentum from the hit has him roll off of the
bottom cell and onto the floor. The bell sounds.
Announcer: Here is your winner of the second fall, Mark Evil!
Cole: Oh wow, Joe made Evil fall onto the floor!
King: Yeah, and Joe looks pissed.
THIRD FALL - POTTER'S FIELDJoe stands up on the bottom cell, still bleeding
from the forehead. He slowly climbs down and stands on the bottom of
the cell as it is
pulled up to the ceiling again. Then, Joe and the referee to where the
announcer table is. Mark is kind of pulled over by two other refs.
Then, a Ford truck is
backing up, down the ramp. It stops and two workers open the back.
Inside is the barbed wire net. The briefcase is lowered from the
ceiling as the workers
place the barbed wire net between the bottom turnbuckles. Two other
workers spread the broken glass over the pads. As soon as everything is
set up, Joe moves
out onto the glass to get a feeling for the match. Mark Evil finally
stands up and moves to the other side of the ring. He grabs a ladder
out from under the
ring, as does Joe.
Cole: Here it is…Potter's Field. The winner will put the final nail in the coffin for this feud.
King: It all comes down to this, one of the most violent matches in XHF history.
Cole: So far, this has been a heated contest, and the ultimate end it coming.
King: It's never good that this match will be better than most of the matches at Night of Champions.
Cole: Shut up King, you don't know that, and it hasn't happened yet.
King: Oh…yes…of course.
The bell sounds and Mark puts the back of his
ladder down onto the broken glass. Joe looks confused and Evil flings
the ladder across the
ring. Joe runs out of the way. The ladder slams into the ground,
breaking more glass and sliding into the announcer's table. Joe stands
around the corner
as the crowd starts to cheer. Joe turns around as Mark clotheslines
him. Joe falls onto the broken glass and yells in pain. Mark gets a
sick smile on his face
and walks over to get Joe's ladder. Joe grabs onto the apron to pull
himself up. He is lightly bleeding from the back. Mark then charges at
Joe with the
ladder in his hands. Joe ducks down and Mark rams the ladder into the
side of the ring. Mark drops the ladder after hurting his hands on the
impact. Mark backs
off a few feet as Everyman stands up. Joe walks forward and kicks Mark
in the stomach. Joe hooks Mark's head and yells out. Joe swings around,
hooking his
arm, hitting the Twist of Fate right onto the glass!
Cole: Oh my god, Mark's face was just driven into the broken glass!
King: He's not ganna be looking too pretty after that move.
Mark gets up surprisingly quick. He is bleeding
badly from the forehead. Joe makes his way over to the announce table
and grabs a steel
chair. Joe sees Mark standing and quickly moves over. He swings the
chair as hard as he can, hitting Mark square in the back. Mark falls
onto his knees,
holding onto the apron. Joe then raises the steel chair above his head
and brings it down, execution style. Mark's neck buckles under the hit
and he
collapses onto the ground. Joe drops the now severely dented chair onto
the ground. He moves over and grabs the ladder. He picks it up and
throws it into the
ring. It catches and bounces on the slightly elevated barbed wire net
on the bottom of the ring. Joe climbs up the stairs and goes into the
ring. He is slow to
watch his step around the barbed wire. Joe grabs the ladder and sets it
up in the middle of the ring. Evil finally gets up and is looking for a
weapon. He
reaches under the ring and grabs a trashcan and a table out. Joe is
slowly climbing the ladder. Mark jumps onto the apron and throws the
trashcan at Joe's
head. It hits him in the side of the head, and he falls off the ladder.
Joe is nimble enough and grabs onto the ropes so he doesn't fall into
the barbed
wire.
Cole: That was a close call for Everyman.
King: Yeah. Evil seems to be back on his game.
Joe is still in shock from almost falling into the
barbed wire. Mark is on the side now setting up the table. He then gets
under the ring
and grabs out two more tables. He sets up one on top of the other table
and he sets up the other near those two. Joe then jumps out of the
ring. He reaches
under the ring and grabs another chair. He walks over to Evil who is
still distracted. Joe then swings the chair but Mark jumps out of the
way. The chair comes
crashing down onto the lone table. The hit makes Joe drop the chair.
Joe looks up and is met by a big boot from Mark. Joe falls to the mat
below. There is
little glass there from where the tables pushed it out of the way. Mark
then grabs Joe by the back of the neck. Mark stands him up and grabs
him by the back of
the neck again. Mark then punches Joe in the side and grabs onto his
tights. Mark picks up Everyman and drops him face and chest first into
the table!
Cole: …a reverse Chokeslam?
King: Looks like it. That was cool!
Joe rolls out of the way of the table wreckage.
Mark has an evil smile on his face. He walks up the steps onto the ring
apron. He walks
over to where Joe is. He then jumps off for a legdrop, but Joe sees it
coming and rolls out of the way! Mark hits the glass hard. Joe then
slowly stands up and
climbs into the ring. Mark gets up and looks at Joe. He gets a sick
smile again. Mark gets up the ring as Joe watches on. Evil pulls out
two bottles of lighter
fluid and a Zippo lighter. Mark then pours the fluid on the two tables
and lights both of them on fire! Joe gets a scared look on his face.
Mark then jumps
onto the apron and punches Joe in the face. Joe stumbles back, almost
falling into the barbed wire again. Mark then gets into the ring. Joe
moves over to the
turnbuckle and leans against it. Mark then jumps across the net and
gets to the turnbuckle. Joe then chops Evil across the chest. Evil
stumbles back as Joe
does it again. Mark then blocks the third one and punches Joe in the
face. Joe falls back onto the turnbuckle. Mark then lifts up Joe and
puts him onto the top
rope. Mark climbs up the front but Joe manages to punch Evil in the
stomach.
Cole: What could Mark be planning?
King: I don't know, but those tables are still on fire.
Mark then grabs Joe by the throat again. He tries
to lift Everyman up, but Joe jumps off. He nimbly lands onto the apron.
He looks up and
does what any man in this situation would do…punches Evil right in the
nuts. Mark almost falls off the top turnbuckle but holds on. Joe then
climbs up the side
and turns his back to Evil. Joe hooks Mark's head and climbs up to the
top turnbuckle. The crowd are all on their feet, cheering on Everyman.
Joe then
yells and jumps off. He then jumps, bringing Evil with him. Joe jumps
over the two flaming tables and brings Mark down into them, hitting a
Super Twist of
Fate! Mark hits and it lying motionless. Joe slowly starts to move.
Both men lay on the ground for almost two minutes. Joe then finally
stands up. His face,
chest and back are all badly bleeding. He slowly climbs up the stairs
into the ring. Mark is now sitting against the announcer's table,
looking up at Joe.
Evil is barely conscious after the hit. Everyman then climbs the ladder
in the center of the ring. Joe gets to the top and the crowd is in a
near frenzy. Joe
reaches up and grabs down the briefcase.
Announcer: Here is the winner of the third fall and winner of the Three Stages of Hell match, Joe Everyman!!!
Cole: My god, he's done it again. He was able to defeat Mark Evil for the final time.
King: I thought Evil had it, but it was a dramatic end to an amazing feud.
*Joe climbs down the ladder with the briefcase in
hand. He gets out of the ring as the referee raises his hand, right in
front of the still
motionless Evil. Joe then helps Mark Evil up. Joe looks at Mark.
Everyman then puts his right hand out. Evil looks down at his hand.
Mark looks off into the
crowd who are still wildly cheering. Evil then decides to do the
unthinkable and shakes Joe's hand. Joe then raises both of his arms
into the air, holding
up the briefcase and Mark's arm. Evil then gets his arm back and walks
up the ramp into the locker room. Joe walks over and grabs his nCw
National
Championship and holds the briefcase in his other hand. Joe slowly
walks up the ramp, still bleeding from everywhere. Everyman then stops
on the top of the
ramp and looks back. He raises his arms up again, showing off the title
belt and the briefcase. "Survival of the Sickest" starts playing over the
arena's
speakers as Joe walks slowly up the rampway and eventually through the curtains as XHF's final weekly show altogether fades to black and Night of Champions VII looms large ahead....*
At this point, an ominous "Red Fist"
symbol appears across the Xtreme-Tron and accompanied by it is the
loud, roaring
sound of guitar riffs beginning to kick in across the building's sound
system. Mere seconds later, the XT screen abruptly shifts to pure
static and the
tension builds as after a flurry of drums kick in, the following words
begin to echo throughout the building...
