Timmy Draven: “I’m serious Wesley. This “lord” Dominicus will have to meet his maker one day… and when that happens, he’ll need to answer for the sins he’s committed.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “He has no idea what’s coming for him. Timmy, I’m his judge. I’m his jury… and I’m his executioner. I may not be liked by many in Wrestle:UK, but it’s MY company. It’s my company to be hated in. I carried that company on my shoulders while it went through one of the biggest transitions in the company’s history. The fact is, I’ve never faced him in a one on one match so he has no idea what he’s in for. I just took The Sheik to the limit and defeated him in a match that by all rights, he should have won. I almost took his head off with an In The Face V-Trigger. Truth is, people seem scared of Lord Dominicus but I am not scared of him. I am not worried about him defeating me. No, I’m looking to fight him. I’m looking to eliminate him once and for all.
Timmy Draven: “Well it sounds like you’re ready to go. I’m not sure what I can do for you.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Tell me I have the right to go after him. Tell me I have the right to eliminate him.”
Timmy Draven: “Wesley, we live in a world full of hate. We live in a world full of violence. Why do you think I live out here in the middle of the woods with like minded individuals? Why do you think this community exists? It’s because the world is a screwed up place. I stepped away from the business because my time was done… but I understand the business more than most. I owned the AWA for many years. I understand that you need to step up and defend Wrestle:UK from this guy. My only advice is this… know when to quit.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I refuse to quit.”
Timmy Draven: “No, I mean in the match. Take him to the limit. Defeat him and defend Wrestle:UK… but also know when to end the match. Whether I want to admit it or not, the fact is, you’ve got a vicious side to you. You’ll do whatever it takes to get the job done. You’ve got The High Rollers Club backing you up and that means things can get really ugly really fast. You need to know when to stop the match. When it’s time to admit that enough damage has been done. Know your limits, Wesley.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I’ll stop when he’s not moving. I’ll stop when he’s been not only defeated but humiliated. When he attempted to join the Battle of Britain I battle royal he was humiliated and lost rather quickly. Oh yeah, who won that Battle Royal? Yeah, Wesley Crane did. Lord Dominicus thought he could step up to the talent in Wrestle:UK but the truth is, he was out of his element. He has such hostility against Wrestle:UK because he knows that in the current state it’s in, he’s not as good as the worst person on the roster.”
Timmy Draven: “You seem like you’ve got things all planned out. What more do you need from me, or Obediah?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I need to know it’s okay for me to do these things to him. I need to know that after the dust settles that I’ll be forgiven for the hell I unleash on him.”
Timmy Draven: “You can ask for forgiveness all you want but the truth is, if you’re not serious about forgiveness, if you’re not serious about cleansing your soul, there’s nothing Obediah or myself can do to help you. You have a heart problem. In your heart you feel you’re justified in destroying another human being. Wesley, learn from me. Learn from my mistakes. It’s never okay to destroy another human being. When I was younger and making a name for myself, there was a guy named Steve Supreme. He was the face of the company. The bar was set high. He was an incredible champion. Everyone loved him. I went into a World Championship match with him and I destroyed his career. I beat him up badly. Things got out of hand and Draven’s Flock jumped in and we beat him within an inch of his life.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Sounds like a good time to me.”
Timmy Draven: “I ruined his career, Wesley. He never wrestled again.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Why?”
Timmy Draven: “We injured him… but we also broke him. That warrior inside himself was crushed. He lost that “it” factor and it was my fault. Still to this day I feel remorse for what I did. I’ve often wondered what would have happened if he stayed in the business. Would he have been the greatest ever? Maybe… but we’ll never know because I took that away from him. At the end of the day, we’re all human beings. Don’t let your anger inside cause you to do something that you’ll never be able to bounce back from. You’re smart Wesley. You’re ungodly talented inside that ring. Don’t ruin it all because of this rift you have with him.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I hear you, I do… but this man is trying to take over the company that I work for. He’s come out swinging and now it’s time to go to war. I appreciate you, Timmy, I do… but when it’s time for war, there’s going to be casualties and this casualties name is Lord Dominicus.
With that said, Wesley stands up, hugs his mentor and heads to his limousine to leave.
End scene.
