(Hopefully this doesn't already exist buried in here somewhere)
Many of us are unable to run a fed for various reasons- maybe it's time, maybe it's commitment, maybe it's skill, etc. But I think a lot of us have ideas that pass through our minds from time to time of a fed we'd LIKE to see or that we'd maybe run if we were able.
That's what this thread is for. Pitch a fed! It's fun to see what ideas people come up with or what mechanics they'd change/utilize.
Who knows, maybe somebody will come here looking for ideas and use yours! (Then horribly bastardize your vision)

Fed Name: Rock'n'Roll Xtreme (RRX- look I'm still Mongo)
Fed Starting Size: Very small, we're talking like local bars as venues.
Fed Growth Potential: I'd say ideally pretty low, you'd want to cap off at maybe a top conceptual size of local arenas.
Members: I'd say maybe cap at 10 artists/bands
It's not a wrestling fed per say, lol. The idea is the fed would run monthly (or bi/tri-weekly) "Battle of the Bands" contest. So the members would sign up as a musician or a band (with the members info as part of the app). Since it'd be in the Network they'd either sign a waiver on joining or have a designated wrestler in the band so they could participate in global shows.
I could see a system similar to DTF's dues, where if you want on the show you need to do a promo in a thread (Maybe call it "rehearsals" or "jam sessions" or something). But in the rp you'd also need to identify what the song will be at the battle of the bands (and if it's a cover or not).
Judging would still be based on rp and I suppose the title would be whoever won the battle last time. Results would be tricky though. Maybe just a short summary of each band playing and the reviews or responses thereof? Then at the end of the show after all the bands/artists have done their piece the winner for the night would be announced.

I should beat you up for this.

The band game was the inspiration, but theoretically the band fed would be original characters- also you could JUST handle a singer or something instead of an entire band (if you so choose).

Fed Name: Pacific Pro Wrestling (West Coast Based Fed that travels up and down California, Oregon, Washington, and occasionally Vancouver)
Fed Starting Size: Small; venues with seating around 250-1000 folks
Fed Growth Potential: I'd lock the potential growth of the fed until partnerships with larger "more established" XHF feds became viable.
Members: No Cap. Explanation below.
Card Frequency: Weekly; big shows (PPVs) occurring on 5th Saturday/Sunday of a given month (quarterly)
What makes this fed different: Short RPs with a maximum of 250 words (with an option for "post-match" interviews to count towards the results of their next match). Results would be summarized with the exception of "big shows" which would have 1,000 word limits.
Judging: RP based fed where staff judges based on the quality of the promos because clearly length is a non-factor.
Inspiration: DPW Fire/Spark is the main inspiration for this. An indy fed running weekly events isn't common and it's almost less common in today's e-fed landscape but, if you have low word counts and keep results focused on just that: the results, I believe this is viable to run and could give players a fun place to experiment in between larger, more prestigious shows.
