The sun hangs high in the sky as Wellington Dunne, the tag team partner (or some might say former tag team partner) of Wrestle: UK star Cheez, stands on Cheez's doorstep. He raises his hand and knocks on the door, expecting to see his buddy. However, to his surprise, a buxom blonde beauty, STACY, answers the door. She stands at approximately 5 ft 5 5 ft 6, and, as Dunne can't help but notice, possesses what can only be described as a "pornstar rack."
DUNNE: (curiously) Is Cheez available?
STACY: (holding up a finger) One second, oh Richie-poo, there is someone at the door for you.
Cheez, whose real name is Richard, appears and gives Stacy a kiss on the cheek.
CHEEZ: Thanks, Stacy. (turns to Dunne) Hey, buddy. What's up?
DUNNE: (raising an eyebrow) Okay, Cheez, how much are you paying her?
CHEEZ: (laughs) I'm not paying her anything.
DUNNE: (smirking) Come on now, Richie-poo.
CHEEZ: (grinning) My first name is Richard, you know this.
DUNNE: (teasing) I know, but you with her... On the surface, it looks like I shouldn't be with somebody like that.
CHEEZ: (serious) She's been one of my biggest supporters in my life. I was 15 when I started making YouTube videos, and she was the first person ever to subscribe to my channel. She was 13 at the time. She was my first follower on Twitch, and she was the first person to send me fan mail when I started my wrestling dream. And I never knew who she was.
DUNNE: (raising an eyebrow) Ah, so she's a stalker, then? Didn't the band Goldfinger have a song about wanting to marry your stalker?
Cheez rolls his eyes.
CHEEZ: No, she's not my stalker, and we have a genuine connection. It's just... it took us actually meeting to make me realize it. Even when I'm down on myself, her comments on my videos or her typing in chat were enough sometimes to pull me out of the darkness. And now I have that even when you aren't around, Dunne.
Dunne nods, understanding.
DUNNE: So, how did you two meet, if I may inquire?
CHEEZ: We met at a gaming convention. She happened to be there, and she came to my Q&A session. Afterward, we met in the hallways of the convention center and started talking. We realized that we actually have a lot in common.
DUNNE: (nodding) I know what you're trying to tell me – that she's just using you, and I don't want to see you get hurt. I appreciate that.
CHEEZ: (emotional) But, Dunne, when I was younger, I would have never had the confidence to ask a girl like that out. Yet somehow, I managed to pull it off because this is what this business has done for me. I made a name for myself hiding behind a computer screen, playing video games, and talking to nobody with the hopes that somebody would find my videos online and find me entertaining. And she did that. She was the first one to do that. Now she's my girlfriend. Me, the nerdy kid who got shoved into lockers in high school, has the hot girlfriend. It's because of the confidence I've been able to gain with supporters like you and the WUK locker room and management. I have somebody at home now who waits for me to come home. I have somebody who cares for me, not just like you care, Dunne – not as a friend care. I can't thank you enough for that.
Dunne smiles warmly.
DUNNE: (grinning) Didn't realize that my support helped you out that much.
CHEEZ: I wouldn't be the man I am today if you hadn't taken me under your wing. And now I have a chance to win my first title in Wrestle: UK.
Dunne leans in, his tone encouraging.
DUNNE: (enthusiastic) That's what I want to hear! I knew you had the ability to be where you are on your own. You just needed the push in the right direction. You needed to learn that just because everyone originally thought you were a joke wrestler, doesn't mean you are a joke of a person. I'm glad I was able to help you see that.
CHEEZ: (grateful) Thanks, man. That means a lot.
Dunne, changing the subject, mentions Stacy again.
DUNNE: Now, speaking of Stacy, does she have a mom?
Cheez glares at Dunne.
CHEEZ: (playfully threatening) I should kick you in the dick for that joke!
DUNNE: (innocently) What? I'm not joking; I'm curious!
Cheez laughs and shakes his head.
CHEEZ: (appreciative) Thank you for your encouragement. We'll celebrate after I win.
DUNNE: (curiously) Is Cheez available?
