The scene opens up to the luxurious presidential suite at Wesley Crane’s Turning Stone Casino and Resort. He’s standing at his fully stocked bar with a whiskey in hand. As well as Wesley Crane, the room is filled with some members of the High Rollers Club. Nicholas “Honest” Cage, Preston Andre Reese and SZK (Pronounced Suzuki)... There is a knock at the door. Wesley yells out…
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Come in!”
The door opens and in walks Henderson and WUK lead reporter, Katie Moss. Wesley’s “lady-friend” walks directly over to him and gives him a little kiss. Henderson looks as nervous as ever.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Hey, baby.”
Katie Moss: “Where’s the rest of the crew?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Well, Warrick is with Wesley Rage at the resort gym.”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “Never skip leg day.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “That’s right, never skip leg day.”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage goes back to puffing on his marijuana vape pen. Wesley goes back to talking to Katie Moss.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “So are you here for business or personal matters?”
Katie Moss: “Why, are you feeling like you want to give me a few statements about your opponent, Kasper Van Zant?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Not really… but how can I say “no” to a pretty face.”
Katie smiles.
Katie Moss: “Kasper has a very… detailed story.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “You could say that.”
Katie Moss: “Aren’t you worried about the amount of people, and dwarves that surround Kasper? Between the dwarves, the rest of the Van Zant clan and now Slam II, she seems to be pretty protected.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Maybe you forgot about the greatest faction to ever grace a wrestling ring… you ever hear of The High Rollers Club? Have you ever seen the chaos we cause? Have you ever seen the demolition we cause? The fact is, Kasper and her family of morons have nothing on The High Rollers Club.”
Katie Moss: “Fair enough. Here’s a question that might be a little harder… Why do you hate Kasper so much?”
Wesley pounds his whiskey and then pours another drink. He takes a little sip of his drink and then goes back to paying attention to Katie.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “It’s simple… I just don’t like her. Wrestle: United Kingdom is MY federation. I may not own the company, but you’d better believe I’m going to do everything to make sure the best of the best are in this company… and Kasper is not the best. Fuck, she’s not even in the top ten. If anything, she’s at the very bottom of the ladder. She’s been wrestling all over, trying to make her name against some of the better wrestlers in the world… and what’s happening? She’s getting her ass kicked… and it won’t be any different when she gets in the ring with me. She doesn’t stand a chance against me.”
Katie Moss: “So you don’t like her because she’s trying to get her feet wet in Wrestle:UK? Weren’t you a “rook” when you came into WUK?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “No, I’m in my prime, bay bay… when I got to Wrestle:UK, I had already established myself. I was already a big deal. When Blood signed me to this company, he knew he was getting the cream of the crop. There’s only one Wesley Crane and I am him. Kasper is a flash in the pan. I’ve seen people like her. Remember that Kristi chick that wanted to make a name for herself by wrestling me? What happened?”
Katie Moss: “First, I don’t think she’d appreciate being called a “chick” and second, yeah, I remember. You defeated her.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “And then…?
Katie Moss: “She left Wrestle:UK.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Exactly… and by the time I’m done with Kasper, she will be packing her bags and leaving with her fucked up family once and for all.”
Katie Moss: “Slam II is involved. Have you talked to Timmy Draven about him? If so, what does he have to say about him?”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “He probably said Slam II needs Jesus.”
Wesley grins at his stablemate.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “You’re close. Timmy knows Slam II very well. He explained to me that Slam was a very good wrestler and a great talker. The thing about Slam II is that he talks the talk and walks the walk. Timmy says I should keep an extra eye on him… so that’s what I’ll do… with my Japanese brother, SZK. SZK’s sole job is to keep an eye on Slam II. For us, there’s nothing to worry about. For Kasper and friends, there’s a lot to worry about. They’re going to find out that The High Rollers Club don’t fuck around.”
Wesley takes another sip from his drink and sets the glass down on the top of the bar. He reaches out and grabs Katie.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Boy’s I’m going to need the room now. You’ve all got your own suites… so as the saying goes… you don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here… now, get out!”
The High Rollers Club are all leaving and Katie is giving Wesley the “fuck me” eyes as the scene fades.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Come in!”
