The scene opens to the Turning Stone Casino’s ballroom. There is a podium at the front of the room. There are reporters and interviewers sitting in the seats. Off to the side of the room, a door opens and in walks the new Two Kingdoms Champion, “The High Roller” Wesley Crane, carrying the Two Kingdoms Championship over his right shoulder. Behind him walks Preston Andre Reese, Rage & Cage, Warrick, SZK and Henderson. The group known as The High Rollers Club all stand in front of everyone, letting reporters get a few photos of them. Once the people in attendance settle down, Wesley walks to the microphone and taps it a couple of times, making sure it’s on. Once he knows it’s working properly, he leans in and begins to speak.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I’m sure you’re all curious as to why I’ve called this press conference today. Well, it’s to talk about War Games. You see, everyone’s talking about The High Rollers Club. Everyone wants to know who will be the mystery person in our match. Well, I’m here to make the announcement. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… Professional Wrestling Hall of Famer, the original High Roller. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you… “The Lone Wolf” Timmy Draven!”
The side door opens and in walks the man himself, Timmy Draven. Being in his late 40’s, Timmy looks a little rougher around the edges, with his blondish brown hair and rather wild beard. He’s wearing jeans and boots as well as a vintage “Draven’s Flock” T-Shirt. He walks to the podium and shakes hands with Wesley Crane. Their handshake causes the cameras to flash all over the place. Timmy turns and leans toward the microphone.
Timmy Draven: “Have you missed me?”
There are tons of cheers.
Timmy Draven: “This isn’t your typical return. You see, back a few years ago I said I had three singles matches left in me. My first match I defeated a hardcore legend. I defeated Crazy Bill in a hellacious match that ripped flesh off our bodies. The second match I had was with a man you’re all familiar with. My second match, I defeated “The Role Model” Anthony Jordan in a classic that stole the show. That leaves me with one single match left… but War Games is not a singles match. War Games is exactly what it sounds like. It’s war! And I haven’t been in a war in quite some time. But why? Why would someone loved by the fans team up with one of the most hated men in the world to take on other people loved by the fans? Well, you see, it’s simple. Most of you know, some of you don’t… but I helped get Wesley Crane into the wrestling business. I trained him at my training facility and helped mold him into the wrestler he is today. I know a different side of Wesley Crane. A side of Wesley that most of you have never seen. I know the genuine side of Wesl-”
Before Timmy can say anything else, Wesley reaches over and places a hand on the microphone, causing Timmy to stop talking. Timmy gives Wesley a look, at the same time, Wesley shoots Timmy a look. Wesley shakes his head “no”... Timmy gets a grin on his face.
Timmy Draven: “So where was I… yes, why… Wesley needed someone and came to me asking for a favor. So I agreed. So at War Games, we will see Timmy Draven, hesitantly, teaming with The High Rollers Club. I know things will get a little crazy in there, and I’m ready for that. I’m just thankful to Wrestle:UK for giving me the opportunity to get back in the ring.”
Wesley places a hand on Timmy’s chest and gently pushes him to the side. Wesley leans into the microphone.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “So there it is. Professional Wrestling Hall of Famer, Timmy Draven, teaming up with your Two Kingdoms Champion and the High Rollers Club. Dominicus, Lady Evil, Lynx and The Brothers Gluck have no chance in hell of taking out The High Rollers Club. For now, we have business to take care of, so we’re out of here.”
A bunch of reporters raise their hands in the air, hoping to get their questions answered. Wesley leans back into the microphone.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “No questions. We will put out something in the near future. Until then, we’re out!”
Wesley Crane motions to the door. The High Rollers Club and Timmy Draven all head to the door and leave.
