The scene opens to the very expensive, very beautiful dining hall at Wesley Crane’s Casino and Resort. There are large chandelier hanging from the ceiling. There are tables set up all over the place. On the second level of the restaurant sits a table with all the fancy decorations you can imagine. In the middle of the table sits a bouquet of deep red roses. At the entranceway of the restaurant, “The High Roller” Wesley Crane and his “lady friend” Katie Moss come walking in together, both looking dressed to impress. Katie is decked out in a low cut black dress. Wesley is wearing a black $10,000 custom Armani suit with a plum purple buttoned down shirt under the suit jacket. The top couple of buttons are unbuttoned as usual, to show off his chiseled physique. Around his waist is the Two Kingdoms Championship. Katie is holding onto Wesley’s left arm as they walk into the restaurant. They are immediately met by a beautiful woman, named Holly. Holly is a beautiful blonde with popping beautiful blue eyes. Wesley winks at her and she smiles from ear to ear.
Holly: “Mr. Crane.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Please, call me Wesley.”
Holly: “Shall I give you your normal table upstairs?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Absolutely. Only the best for my gal!”
Holly: “It’s nice to meet you, Katie.”
Katie Moss: “You can call me Miss Moss.”
Wesley looks over at his “lady friend” and grins. He can tell she’s “marking her territory” even though she’d never admit it. Holly just smiles and walks ahead of Wesley and Katie, taking them to their table. Once they get there, Wesley holds the chair for Katie. She takes a seat and then Wesley does the most Wesley type of thing he can do. He lifts up a championship holder from the extra chair sitting at the table. He places the championship holder on the table, right behind the red roses.
Katie Moss: “Are those roses for me or for your championship?”
Wesley just grins at Katie.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Both?”
Katie picks up her napkin and throws it at Wesley. He picks it up and smiles.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “You know me, babe… I’m all about impressing the ladies. Candi is no exception.”
Katie rolls her eyes.
Katie Moss: “Alright, what’s for dinner?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Before we start dinner, how about some of the finest wine we have?”
Katie Moss: “That sounds incredible.”
Wesley raises his right hand, motioning for the waitress to come see them. As soon as she sees Wesley motioning for her she hurries over to see what they need.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Hello, Megan. How are you doing on this fine evening?”
Megan: “I’m great. Just enjoying my day. How are you, Mr. Crane?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Megan, I’ve told you time and time again, please, call me Wesley.”
Megan: “Okay, how can I help you, Wesley?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “You can do two things for me. One, I’d like a bottle of our finest wine. Second, you can get the chef so I can talk to him about his special dish he has prepared for this evening.”
Megan: “I’ll bring that bottle right out to you and I’ll have Chef Scott come out to see you. I’ll be right back.”
Megan turns and walks off. Wesley reaches over and rubs his Two Kingdoms Championship.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Doesn’t she look beautiful? I gave her a good shining this afternoon.”
Katie Moss: “Yeah, she looks great. So let’s talk about War Games.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I prefer we don’t. I’d like an evening with my gals. Business free.”
As they are talking, Megan returns with a bottle of wine and two shot glasses filled with some sort of liquor. Megan places the bottle of wine on the table and then places a shot glass in front of each of them. Katie gives a look, showing that she’s confused by the shot glasses. She didn’t realize this was a night of heavy drinking.
Katie Moss: “What are these?”
Megan: “They’re from the two brunettes at the bar.”
Katie and Wesley both look over at the ladies. Wesley lifts up the shot glass and downs it. He nods at the brunettes and then looks back at Katie. She takes her shot as well and waves a hand at the brunettes as well. Meanwhile, Megan has poured the wine. Katie swirls it around in her glass, smells it, and then takes a sip. She gets an immediate smile on her face.
Katie Moss: “This is heavenly.”
Chef Scott comes walking into view. He has his custom white chef’s uniform and a goofy smile on his face.
Megan: “Anything else, Wesley?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “No thank you. Not for now, Megan.”
Megan walks off. Chef Scott gets a little closer to the table.
Chef Scott: “What can I help ya with, Wes-”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “It’s Mr. Crane.”
Chef Scott stops in his tracks. He knows he overstepped the boundaries.
Chef Scott: “I apologize, Mr. Crane. How may I help you?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I wanted to know what the specials were for this evening, but you’ve ruined my appetite. I’m going to need you to go get me your Assistant Manager.”
Chef Scott doesn’t ask any questions. He just does as he’s told and goes to get his Assistant Manager, named Trent. Chef Scott and Trent come walking back to Wesley and Katie’s table. As they get there, Wesley is sipping his wine. He sees them both and places his glass down on the table.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “You must be the Assistant Manager. What’s your name?”
Assistant Manager Trent: “The names Trent. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you, Mr. Crane.”
Wesley looks at Chef Scott.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Is he a chef too?”
Chef Scott: “He is… and a damn good one at that.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Good. You’re fucking fired. Trent, you’re the new head chef at the Turning Stone Casino and Resort.”
Chef Scott and the new head chef, Chef Trent all look shocked.
Chef Scott: “Uh, Mr. Crane, if I did something to offend you, please let me know so I can fix it. I really need this job-”
Wesley raises his arm and motions for Holly to come back. Holly reaches the table and can tell emotions are a bit high.
Holly: “How can I help you, Wesley?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Contact security immediately and have Chef Scott removed from the premises.”
Holly looks shocked, but does as she’s told. As she’s on the phone, Chef Scott huffs.
Chef Scott: “Fine! I’ll leave. This is bullshit!”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Goodbye.”
Chef Scott heads off. Trent looks a little awkward, but knows it’s his time to shine.
Chef Trent: “So, what can I get you two?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Forget about it. My appetites been ruined. Katie, shall we go to my Presidential Suite?”
Katie Moss: “Sure.”
They both stand up. The brunettes at the bar smile at Wesley. He smiles back and then looks back at Katie.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Shall we?”
Katie Moss: “Sure!”
Wesley walks over to the brunettes and whispers in their ears. They all laugh and then Wesley walks back to Katie and Candi. He picks up the Two Kingdoms Championship (Candi) and places the championship over his right shoulder. Katie grabs his arm and they exit the dining hall. They head to the elevator. As they enter the elevator, an arm reaches in to stop the doors from closing. It’s the brunettes. They smile at Wesley and Katie and Wesley and Katie smile back as the door closes.
Scene End.
Holly: “Mr. Crane.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Please, call me Wesley.”
