Captain Righteous stood on top of the Prince Tower, casually on the edge looking down on his city staring stoically at the growing night traffic both made of cars and people. His red and white striped cape flowed with the howling wind and his hands laid clasped behind his back. Lady Liberty came flying from above landing softly behind her ward mentor.
Lady Liberty: ”Captain…”
Captain Righteous didn't motion to greet her, but his face twisted into something sour, her voice was nails on a chalkboard to him and the disgust on his face was evident. Still he didn't look to greet her as he spoke.
Captain Righteous: ”Liberty…”
Lady Liberty edged closer beside him, looking down herself.
Lady Liberty: ”I'm not bothering you am I?”
Captain Righteous: ”If you continue speaking…you will be bothering me. So, do with that what you will.”
Lady Liberty: ”Ship told me you were going back to Japan for a while? A mission?”
Ship: ”...she's so darn cute Cap! She honey potted me…”
Captain Righteous rolled his eyes when Ship groveled his confession.
Captain Righteous: ”Ship has a weak constitution, it is very unlady like to expose that…”
Lady Liberty: ”But I-”
The Captain finally turned, holding up a single finger on his gloved hand, shushing Liberty.
Captain Righteous: ”No. Shh. Listen you cheap knockoff, little government teat sucking cow…Do you know what Captain means in rank? Don't answer it was rhetorical and you won't ever know responsibility bestowed on a man like me. Where I go, don't matter, fucking tag along I don't give a flying horses twat, the JROK needs me. They need me to save this team of misfits they've tossed together to go smash some fucking heads…The Mafia! For one…a living Gator and a Disney Princess. A often misgendered Goth and another fucking dinosaur. If you could fathom the responsibility to bring these shit burglars to righteous condemnation then you wouldn't be up my ass like a government pegging cuck.”
In his anger Captain Righteous begins to float absent-minded of the occurrence, the lack of control. In the clouds above the Big Apple flashes of purple to white lightning spider web within the shadows. Lady Liberty retreats back a step.
Captain Righteous: ”Do you hear what I say? These plebs and simpleton swamp crawling fucks will pay and I am the Piper in which they'll do so, over sized leather suitcases and Goths teaming with failing Disney wonder boys is a biligerint disrespect to this awesome business! I'm going to hurt them. You are going to watch and learn because if you don't start realizing that we are the top dogs of this food chain these humans will continue to drain the life out of ME! I have work to do! It'd be nice to have a little support here…fuck!”
Regaining her composure Lady Liberty flies up to meet Captain Righteous in the air…
Lady Liberty: ”I was just going to say…I don't have jurisdiction over you if you leave the states…”
Surprise riddle the Captains face and his shoulder droop for a single moment.
Lady Liberty: ”Florida Man is a menace to society and Marty too, Goth I don't know much about him and Donzilla…”
The pair look at the 4th wall for a moment. Then back at each other.
Lady Liberty: ”...he could be a threat to Japan to the world and it's our duty to protect the humans.”
Captain Righteous: ”...and for glory.”
Lady Liberty: ”.....and glory.”
The Captain straightened up, the smallest hint of a smirk breached his face. He patted her on the head.
Captain Righteous: ”Good kitten, you're learning. Still this step is a small one, JROK is a little small pride of mine one I mean to prune with time…WUK even deserves the attention of what giant piles of shit they have employed…then tomorrow the Network. My ambitions are much higher than these people can handle…a Righteous dawn of serendipitous luck hath befallen my opponents and the Captain will be there to fuck them…fuck them right up their stupid asses.”
And then in a sound burst of speed Captain Righteous was gone, leaving Lady Liberty to second guess her permission on unleashing Captain Righteous.
