The scene opens up to Draven Acres in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate NY. We see Timmy Draven’s cabin. It’s been a mild winter. Barely any snow. Only a few days in the single digits. We see Timmy sitting on his porch, rocking back and forth in his Amish made Adirondack rocking chair. He’s dressed in jeans, wook boots and a red and black buffalo plaid jacket. He has a hot cup of coffee in hand. Suddenly, there is a black SUV pulling down the dirt road. The SUV pulls up to Timmy Draven’s cabin and the back doors open. On the driver side, Katie Moss steps out. On the passenger side is Wesley Crane’s personal assistant, Henderson. They walk up to the porch. Timmy stands up and shakes hands with them both.
Timmy Draven: “Please, take a seat.”
Katie walks over and takes a seat in the rocking chair next to Timmy’s chair. Henderson still stands there. Timmy looks at him.
Timmy Draven: “Henderson, please, take a seat. Make yourself at home.”
Henderson walks over to the porch swing and sits down on it.
Timmy Draven: “Can I get you both a cup of coffee.”
Katie Moss: “I’m all good, but thank you for the offer.”
Timmy looks over at Henderson.
Timmy Draven: “And you?”
Henderson no longer looks nervous. Swinging away on the porch swing seems to have “set Henderson free” because as he swings he has a big smile on his face.
Henderson: “No, I’m all good.”
Timmy Draven: “Okay. Thank you for coming out here today. I’m sure you have other things you could be doing. How’s Wesley doing?”
Katie Moss: “Not sure. I haven’t talked to him since Love and War ended.”
Timmy Draven: “That was a little rough.”
Katie Moss: “He has a special Valentine’s Day evening planned for me, so I’ll see him tonight.”
Timmy knows what Wesley’s plans are for the evening. He just lifts his coffee to his mouth and takes a sip.
Katie Moss: “So Mr. Blood asked me to come out here and get a few words with you about your match.”
Timmy Draven: “Ah, yes. Well, I’m glad you’re here because I also have a few things to say as well… but I’ll let you begin.”
Katie Moss: “Okay, great. My first question is how are you feeling? This was your first match in quite a long time.”
Timmy Draven: “Well, I’ll be honest, I’m sore… but I’m sure anyone in that match is sore as well. We went to war… so I’m sore, but all in all, I’m good.”
Katie Moss: “My sources tell me that everyone who went to war in that cage is definitely beat up and sore. Like you said, it’s expected… So what’s the chances we see you in a WUK wrestling ring again in the future?”
Timmy laughs.
Timmy Draven: “Well, if you’ve been following my wrestling career, you know that I’m almost all the way done with the Timmy Draven Farewell Tour. I’ve wrestled my great friend Crazy Bill. I’ve wrestled my great friend Anthony Jordan… and I was in War Games. I have one more match left in me. Will it be a show I put on myself and let people buy it on PPV? Maybe… or maybe I decide to have my last match in Wrestle:United Kingdom.”
Katie’s eyes get big.
Katie Moss: “Whoa, that’s big news. If you were going to have your last match in WUK, can you tell us who it would be against?”
Timmy Draven: “Honestly, I don’t know. I have a couple of names on a list, but I don’t know if it’s something I’ll ever do. Right now, I’m just happy being here at Draven Acres. My family is here. My people in this community are here. My homestead is here. And people from the outside aren’t here unless invited. Honestly, I’m good just staying here and patiently waiting for the good Lord to lead me in the direction of who and when I should have my last match.”
Katie Moss: “That’s fair enough. You said you had something you wanted to say?”
Timmy takes another sip from his coffee.
Timmy Draven: “Yeah, Henderson, could you record this? I want to post it on WUK.COM.”
Henderson pulls out his phone. He lifts it up, taps the screen a couple of times and then gives the thumbs up, letting Timmy know he could begin.
Timmy Draven: “Dear Wrestle:United Kingdom fans. I want to take a moment to thank you for accepting me into your family. It was nice getting back in the ring. It was nice to get in there with people I’ve never met before. A lot of first time matches for me. Dominicus, while I don’t agree with you on a lot of things, I can respect what you do inside the wrestling ring. The same can be said for the rest of you… and Lady Evil, I genuinely hope your injury heals up quickly. As for my teammates. While I don’t agree with you on a lot of things, like Dominicus, I can respect what you all do inside that wrestling ring. Preston, your old man should be proud of you for the talent you possess inside that ring. Same for Rage & Cage. You boys have proven that you’re the future of the business… and for my boy Wesley Crane. I love your passion for the business. I truly enjoyed sharing a wrestling ring with you. You’re a special talent and I’m sure you’re going to go win a lot more gold in Wrestle:UK.”
Timmy finishes his coffee.
Timmy Draven: “It’s been a pleasure. For now, I don’t see myself returning to the ring, but as the saying goes, never say never!”
Katie Moss: “Okay, well, that’s all I have. Do you have anything else?”
Timmy Draven: “Just love one another. You’re both always welcome here at Draven Acres.”
Henderson: “REALLY?”
Katie reaches an arm out toward Henderson and grabs him by the arm, telling him to calm down.
Katie Moss: “Thank you for the offer. We’re going to head back now. I need to get ready for my surprise date with Wesley.”
Katie stands up, as does Henderson and Timmy. Katie reaches out and gives Timmy a hug.
Katie Moss: “It was a pleasure meeting you.”
Timmy Draven: “You as well.”
With that said, Katie and Henderson (who doesn’t want to leave) walk off the porch, get back in their SUV and drive away.
End Scene!
