The scene opens to a rooftop in Kyoto, Japan. It’s nighttime and the roof is filled with people hoping to get a few words from the Two Kingdoms Champion. This is the first time the Champion, “The High Roller” Wesley Crane, has made an appearance for the JROK promotion. Sitting at the “front” of the rooftop, sits a long table with a banner that reads “WUK/JROK”... there is a microphone sat in the center of the table. In the crowd sits a bunch of reporters from Japanese news outlets and a few American ones as well. There are reporters from all over the world, looking to get the hottest “scoop” from the Champ. Suddenly, “I’m So Paid” by Akon plays. The reporters all get to their feet. From off to the side, in a blocked off little area, the Two Kingdoms Champion emerges. He’s decked out in a different outfit tonight. A $10,000 white suit with a plum purple buttoned down shirt under the jacket. The Two Kingdoms Championship rests over Wesley’s left shoulder. This time around, Wesley is surrounded by security. Six men dressed like security guards that would guard the President of the United States of America. All in black suits and wearing black mirrored sunglasses. They all walk with Wesley to the table. Wesley takes a seat. Four security guards from behind Wesley while the other two take their positions at the ends of the table. Wesley taps the microphone a couple of times, causing a little thud sound and some feedback. Once the feedback dies down, Wesley begins to speak.
Wesley Crane: “So this is Kyoto, Japan, huh? I would have thought it would have looked better than this.”
Wesley looks out at the city. It’s beautiful, but there’s no way Wesley’s ever admitting that to the reporters.
Wesley Crane: “As your Two Kingdoms Champion, I’m here to discuss the future of this championship. I’m here to discuss my plans… and it’s pretty simple… I plan on taking out anyone that is put in front of me. That includes Gavin Drake and Psychotic Goth.”
The reporters start to stir. Hands go up. They are looking for a few words about his opponents. Wesley looks annoyed.
Wesley Crane: “I’m right in the middle of speaking. Do I look like I’m ready for questions yet?”
Wesley just shakes his head in disbelief.
Wesley Crane: “Now, where was I?”
Wesley adjusts the championship a little and then places it down on the table in front of him.
Wesley Crane: “So we’ve heard from Gavin and Goth. They had a lot to say but nothing with any sustenance. Gavin Drake has The Empire. I have my High Rollers Club and my security team.”
The reporters get restless again, wanting a few words about the new security team that Wesley has with him. Wesley lowers his aviators (why is he wearing aviators when it’s dark out? One may never know) and scans the crowd. He looks annoyed. He takes a deep breath in and then exhales.
Wesley Crane: “Disrespectful swine.”
The reporters are taking picture after picture. Wesley is getting more and more annoyed.
Wesley Crane: “Alright, you want to know more about my security team, am I correct?”
There’s a roar from the crowd.
Wesley Crane: “Well you see, it’s simple. When you’re as famous as Wesley Crane, you protect yourself.”
Reporters are going crazy again. So many questions. Are the High Rollers Club still a thing? Why the security rather than the High Roller Club muscle like Warrick and SZK? All these questions that the reporters want answered.
Wesley Crane: “When you’re a champion of two very large companies, you become a marked man. There’s a huge bullseye on my chest and I know it. So I’m taking the proper steps to keep myself, and my sweet Candi safe.”
Wesley lifts the Two Kingdoms Championship (Candi as he calls her) and kisses it. He places the belt back over his shoulder.
Wesley Crane: “As for my High Rollers Club, don’t you worry, they’re still close to me and will be whenever needed. They’re my family and I can count on them whenever I need them. For this trip, I decided to come alone.”
A reporter raises his hand. Wesley points in the direction of the guy.
Wesley Crane: “You, with the stupid shirt on. What’s your name?”
Reporter: “My name is Oliver Davis. I’m from Wrestle Talk. I was curious, why aren’t you more concerned about your match with Drake and Goth?”
Wesley Crane: “Whoa, let’s not get shit twisted. Just because I’m calm and cool and collected doesn’t mean I’m not taking this fight seriously. Notice how I called it a fight? Because I know damn well that this match isn’t going to be for the faint at heart. No, this is going to be a bloodbath. This is going to be extreme. This is going to be a war. This isn’t a wrestling match. This isn’t about who can give the greatest headlock. No, this is all about who can bash the other two’s faces in. This is about who can break who’s limbs… Who can make the other two bleed their own blood… and trust me, it’s going to be me, kicking the shit out of those two morons.”
The reporters are restless. They are ready to ask questions. All the while, Wesley Crane is getting more and more annoyed.
Wesley Crane: “Ya know what? Fuck this place. You’re all nothing more than impatient little fucks that need a lesson about waiting your fucking turn. So fuck you, and fuck you, and fuck you…”
Wesley is taking his turns, pointing at the different reporters.
Wesley Crane: “And definitely a huge fuck you to you Mr. Davis. I’m out of this shithole.”
With that said, Wesley stands up and starts to leave with his security team surrounding him. As he’s leaving, he grabs the microphone.
Wesley Crane: “One last statement. You’re all as useless as Drake and Goth. At Legacy 24, I’m shutting them up once and for all. That should give you all something to talk about.”
With that said, The High Roller walks off, leaving the reporters feeling shafted.
