The scene opens to a ribbon cutting ceremony in Western Upstate New York. Syracuse to be exact. We are outside Wesley Crane’s Turning Stone Casino and Resort. There is a huge sign, covered up, a large red bow in front of the entrance to the casino, and a podium off to the right hand side. Standing in front of the noisy crowd is “The High Roller” Wesley Crane looking as dressed up as ever in his $10,000 Armani, custom tailored, plum purple suit. Under his jacket, he’s wearing a black buttoned down dress shirt. The top three buttons are unbuttoned to show off his chest. He looks out at the crowd of photographers and news companies. There’s also wrestling journalists from all over the world, hoping to get a word with the owner of the most successful casino in all of upstate New York. Wesley clears his throat a couple of times, getting the crowd to quiet down.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: Tonight is a special night. Tonight, the Turning Stone Casino and Resort will never be the same again. Tonight, we adapt. Tonight, we grow. Tonight, we change the industry forever. Tonight, I give you…”
Wesley looks toward the huge sign. Two of his special secret service agents grab the covering and pull it off of the sign. In huge plum purple letters, it reads:
“Wesley Crane’s Turning Stone Casino and Resort”
The crowd claps politely, but loudly. Wesley has his cocky, shit eating grin on his face.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Tonight the Turning Stone Casino and Resort turns into Wesley Crane’s Turning Stone Casino and Resort!” Now, I’ll open it up to questions. You, in the red dress.”
Red Dress Reporter: “Good evening, Mr. Crane. Now that you’ve changed the name, should we expect big changes in the casino itself?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Great question. The answer is yes and no. Yes there will be some changes, but they won’t change the integrity of our beloved casino. Next question. You, the guy in th-... what the fuck are you doing here Oliver Davis? Shouldn’t you be back at WRESTLETALK working on one of your review videos?”
WRESTLETALK Oliver Davis: “Congratulations on the casino name change. I think everyone is thinking the same thing though. Why are you here celebrating the name change of your casino when you should be training for one of the biggest matches of your career?”
Wesley looks annoyed.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Well, Oliver, nobody can ever tell you you don’t have brass balls. You’ve asked a question that everyone wants answered, huh?”
The reporters all start snapping pictures of Wesley.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Alright, I’ll entertain you all. Why am I not training for my match against Gavin Drake? Well it’s simple. He isn’t a threat to Wesley Crane. Yeah, he’ll tell you he’s a threat. He’ll tell you the Empire is taking over, but I’m just not feeling it. No, I’m not feeling it all. Is he a dangerous man? It’s been stated that he is. I’ve been in the ring with him. I know how tough he can be. He’s definitely one tough bastard… but dangerous? Nah, I don’t see it. The way I see it is that when you talk about being dangerous, I think about Wesley Crane and the High Rollers Club.”
WRESTLETALK Oliver Davis: “So you’re saying you’re not concerned about facing Gavin?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “It’s not that I’m not concerned. I’m definitely concerned about how much blood he’s going to lose in the match. I’m concerned about him ever walking again. I’m concerned about him ever speaking again because once that collar is wrapped around his neck, and that chain is connecting us, there’s nothing stopping me from crushing his windpipe. Now, next question… you, with the green tie on.”
Green Tie Guy: “Good evening, Mr. Crane. What’s your thoughts on what Gavin Drake said when he said you should go back to where it was safe, with the Kasper’s, Lord Dominicus’s, Goth’s and Kalmin Watts’s?”
Wesley chuckles. Suddenly his face gets serious.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “It shows his ignorance. All of those men are former multi-time champions. So if you want to know why I’ve been keeping it “safe” with those men, maybe he should ask himself why he hasn't been in matches with them lately and I have. It’s called the main event. It’s something he wouldn’t know anything about.”
Green Tie Guy: “Hasn’t he been winning championships all over the world?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Maybe. The fact is, he’s only a champion right now because of the mother fucking triple threat rule. At Dominion, when it’s one on one, we’re going to find out who is better than who… and I can guarantee you that it’s not going to be him. One last question… you, the drop dead gorgeous one with the beautiful smile.”
The camera zooms in to show Katie Moss. She’s smiling from ear to ear.
Katie Moss: “With this busy lifestyle, how do you make time for a personal life?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I make time for the ones who matter.”
Katie grins.
Katie Moss: “So you got plans this evening?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Sorry, folks, but it’s time to go. I’ve suddenly got dinner plans with that gorgeous blonde right over there. Don’t forget to make your donations out to Wesley Crane’s Turning Stone Casino and Resort.”
With that said, Wesley motions toward Katie, asking her to come toward him. She walks over to him and grabs his arm. They turn and walk off together as the camera fades.
