The scene opens up to the luxurious presidential suite at the “Wesley Crane’s Turning Stone Casino and Resort” in Syracuse, NY. Inside the suite is the WUK Extreme Champion, walking around in a pair of designer workout pants and a tight tank top. The WUK Extreme Championship is resting around his waist. He walks over to the Italian leather couch and picks up the remote to his 110 inch Samsung television (Sponsor!!!) and turns it on to the NBA Finals. He grins.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Ha, anyone picking the Dallas Mavericks to win this series is an idiot. With an offense like the Boston Celtics, there’s no doubt they’ll win. I’ll call it now. Celtics in 5 games. I’m glad I put a lot of money down on this game.”
Wesley tosses the remote onto the couch. He then walks over to his fully stocked bar and pours himself a whiskey. He takes a sip and then looks back at the television. Suddenly the doors to the elevator open and in walks Wesley’s personal assistant Henderson as well as “Honest” Nicholas Cage. He has a vape pen in one hand and a script in the other hand. They enter the suite and walk over to the bar to meet Wesley. As they get closer, Nic reaches his hand out and hands Wesley his vape pen. Wesley takes a couple of hits and then hands it back to Nic.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “What are we smoking today?”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “Today we smoke like kings. Today we smoke Gary Payton.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Like the basketball player.”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “Uh, sure… I mean, maybe… All I know is if you’re not careful, this stuff will mess you up.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Well, Gary Payton it is then… and what’s that?”
Wesley points towards the script that Nic has. Nic lifts the script up.
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “This is for the lead role in the new Rambo, the animated series show that’s coming to Netflix in 2025. They want me to read for the lead role. They want me to be freaking Rambo. Rambooooo! First Blood, Bitches! It’s going to be awesome.”
Wesley grins. Everyone knows the “honest” in Nic’s name didn’t always mean he was being honest, regardless of what he says.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Well good luck, buddy.”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “Thanks, Amigo.”
Henderson has been pacing back and forth the entire time. Wesley notices him and finally addresses him.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “What’s the problem, Hendo? You seem on edge.”
Henderson: “Have you heard from Preston?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “No, not today. I’m sure he’ll check in. Why?”
Henderson: “Things have just been… different with him. Is it just me or does he seem a little more on edge?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Look, he’s one of the most talented wrestlers in the world. I have no doubt in my mind that if he’s on edge, it’s because he wants to win this WUK World Tag Team Championship tournament and become the new Tag Team Champions. I don’t blame him. It’s a big match.”
Wesley finishes his whiskey and then walks over to the couch once again. He takes a seat and puts his feet up on the coffee table in front of him. Nic follows along and plops down on the couch and tosses his feet up on the coffee table as well. Wesley looks over at Nic. Nic, knowing he may have gone too far, removes his feet from Wesley’s coffee table. Henderson walks in and sits on the matching Italian leather chair.
Henderson: “We’re going to be in Texas for the next Legacy. That must feel good. Traveling from Syracuse to the UK must be tiring.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “It can be… but I’m excited to see how the Texas crowd reacts to “The High Roller” Wesley Crane coming into their city and taking over. So far, the fans have been eating out of my hand. They’ve got my back. They freaking love me, Hendo.”
Henderson: “I thought the High Rollers Club had your back.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Oh, they do. Don’t you worry about that… but there’s something exciting about the fans all cheering you on. The roar of the crowd chanting your name. Dopamine, man… dopamine.”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “Remember when I defeated King Kong Bundy…?”
Wesley looks at Nic and grins.
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “In a game of Guess Who?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Are you telling me you defeated King Kong Bundy in a game of Guess Who?”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “Damn right I did.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “You and your brother defeated Team Fairtex. What can we expect?”
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “They’re pretty good. Futuristic fucks, but they’re not terrible in the ring. They’re no Rage and Cage, but they’re pretty good. Not as good as you and Preston of course. If I had to bet, I’d guess that you guys can defeat them in less than 15 minutes.”
Wesley looks offended. Nic realizes it and quickly tries to fix the mistake.
Nicholas “Honest” Cage: “5 minutes. You can defeat them in less than 5 minutes.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “The fact is, I know they’re a decent team, but they’re nowhere close to being on the same level as the High Rollers Club. Preston is my best friend…”
Nic lowers his head, looking sad that he’s not considered as Wesley’s best friend.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “There’s no way we can lose. First we take out team Fairtex and then we move on to face the next team of losers. Truth is, we’re just better than all the other teams.”
Nic lowers his head again.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Don’t you worry, buddy. If I have my way, we’re going to be in the finals together. An all High Roller Club final sounds great to me. Either way, we’re bringing more gold into the High Rollers Club.
Nic reaches over and fist bumps Wesley as the camera fades out.
