The three Slams sat around an old wooden table, they'd driven many many miles to reach the upstate part of New York. They were visiting an old friend of Slam2, a wannabe hippie who was a corporate thug back in the eldest Slam's day.
Kasper: ”Do you really think dragging old friends into this is necessary? This is all about hurting Crane.”
Slam2: ”Oh we're not above hurting Crane, but I like to make points and topple empire things more….pettyily.”
Kasper felt like Slam was dancing around everything, if she remembered correctly he had approached her telling her to come to his side. It's family. Family. The Slam way. The Slam way. David, her “new brother” sighed.
Slam3: ”He's got a plan..”
Kasper: ”You've got a plan?”
Slam2: ’I've got…a wishful…plan…more of an extravagant outline of a plan. It's not important Kasper, listen to ya Daddy and he won't lead you astray.”
Kasper gagged.
Kasper: ”We aren't on that level David. You don't have a plan.”
Slam2: ”I've got an outline of a plan!”
Kasper: ”What even is that?! That's not a plan…that's like the brainstorming portion of a high school test!”
Finally David pounds his fists on the table silencing both his Father and sister.
Slam3rd: ”Goddammit, just focus. Will you just tell her what we're doing?”
Slam 2 grunted and folded his arms across his chest.
Slam2: ”Fine. Kasper. Listen you want to fuck Crane up, peg the rod of revenge right up his tight rich asshole yeah? Well let's just say if you want to do that you can't do it the way you've been, you want to embrace that new last name? We gotta act like our enemy. We gotta do shit that will be less…honorable. So…are you up for it? Trust me when I say my brand of warfare gets results…my daddy terrorized Draven and his goons out of so much money. I terrorized MJ Windsor into a title run…and you'll…you two will bring down Crane and his fuckwads..”
Kasper and David were silent, looking at each other for a bit but their silence was enough for Slam 2.
Slam2: ”I'm sending you on to London Kasper, you're going to deliver a message to Katie Moss…I don't care how you do it, but make sure it's loud enough to get to Crane.”
Kasper stiffened up.
Kasper: ”I won't hurt her…”
Slam 2 looked disappointed.
Slam2: ”Do you think Crane wouldn't hurt one of us to settle a score?”
Kasper shook her head.
Kasper: ”She's an employee of WUK, that's assault and I can't help she's stupid enough to stick with the moron but again I won't hurt her…I'll figure something out though.”
Slam 2 shrugged.
Slam2: ”Do what you gotta, just get it done….I'll break this pussy cavalier armor you've cloaked yourself in Kasper, this is a war. You want it, you gotta take it like they'll take it.”
Kasper growled and stood up, she glared at Slam 2 before looking at her “brother” who looked down. He was a boy hell bent on his daddies approval.
Kasper: ”I'm taking the truck *David tossed her his keys without looking at her* I'll see you both in the UK?”
They both nodded and she turned and left. Slam 2 watched her walk away with a bag, he remained quiet until the truck pulled away and the tail lights faded.
Slam3rd: ”What's our plan?”
Slam2: ”Gonna have a heart to heart with Draven…he's friends with Crane, maybe we can sway him..or beat him. Show Crane he's got so many people to protect and spread them thin.”
David nodded, jumping up from the table.
Slam3rd: ”I'll get the camper packed…”
Slam 2 waved David dismissively clamoring from his chair and walking away....London...
Katie Moss was returning to her own private London residence, hundreds of bags hung from her wrist. What made her slow down was the fact her back door had been busted in and pure chaos seemed to ensue on, she could see destruction from where she stood but a gasp escaped when a large masked body came bounding down from the second floor flat. Katie goes for her phone but they rush forward snatching the phone from Katie.
Stranger: ”I didn't come here to hurt you! Just…just give a message to Crane. No one's untouchable.”
The masked stranger tosses the phone back to Katie before running past the woman and disappearing into the London streets. Katie dials up Wesley, she knew who the masked “stranger” was.
