The scene opens once again to the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. Draven Acres to be exact. “The High Roller” Wesley Crane and his mentor, Timmy Draven, are sitting by the fire. It’s a cold morning in the Adirondack Mountains. A balmy 26 degrees fahrenheit. Frost on the grass. Suddenly, there is the sound of a vehicle driving down the dirt road. Wesley looks at Timmy.
Wesley Crane: “You expecting company?”
Timmy Draven: “You know there are other families that live on this land.”
Wesley Crane: “Fair enough.”
As the car gets closer, you can make out who is in the car. The person driving is not someone who has been seen at Draven Acres before. The car stops and out steps Henderson, Wesley’s personal assistant from the backseat. Immediately Wesley looks annoyed. Henderson obviously took an Uber to get to Draven Acres because as Henderson walks toward Wesley and Timmy, the driver of the car pulls away.
Wesley Crane: “Henderson, how in the hell did you find me?”
Timmy Draven: “Wesley!”
Wesley looks at his mentor and shakes his head in a “no” motion, letting him know that right now is not the time to be correcting his language.
Wesley Crane: “Come on, Henderson, spill it.”
Henderson: “Uh, I’m sorry, boss. Katie told me where to find you.”
Wesley closes his eyes and shakes his head back and forth. He enjoyed his “lady-friend” but it was also annoying that she tends to put work first. She told Henderson about Wesley’s whereabouts because she wanted to help, but Wesley would have been happier if she left him alone rather than send Henderson.
Wesley Crane: “Alright, the fact is, you’re here and you shouldn’t be.”
Henderson: “It’s Kasper…”
Wesley Crane: “What about Kasper?”
Henderson: “Here, I saved the video on my phone.”
Henderson hands his phone to Wesley. Wesley pushes the play button and watches the video. (Read Kasper’s first BoB promo)
Wesley stops the video. He hands the phone back to Henderson.
Wesley Crane: “Alright, and?”
Henderson: “Well, Kaspe-”
Wesley Crane: “Kasper what? Sounds defeated? Sounds like she can’t hang with the big boys? Sounds like she’s taking the coward route? Yeah, she sounds like that. So what!?!”
Henderson: “Well, she-”
Wesley Crane: “She wants to go for the Commonwealth Championship? Let her, that’s the only championship I haven’t held in WUK, so it’s only a matter of time before it becomes mine too.”
Henderson: “Well, she-”
Wesley Crane: “Did you see her shoulders drop when she heard she was fighting me inside the TerrorDome? She knew she was already defeated. She knew from now until Battle of Britain III her life would be hell… but let’s talk about after our match. Let’s talk about the toll this match will take on her spirit… because at Battle of Britain III I’m going to not just crush her spirit, no, I’m going to DESTROY her spirit. By the time I’m done with Kasper, there will be nothing left… and the glorious thing about it is that no matter what she does, it just won’t be enough to defeat me.”
Henderson: “But now that she knows you’re in this match, she sounds like she’s ready to go to war with you!”
Wesley has an evil, cocky grin on his face.
Wesley Crane: “Her dirtbag family can’t get involved. The High Rollers Club won’t be getting involved. No, it’s just Kasper Van Slam and “The High Roller” Wesley Crane… and as soon as the TerrorDome is lowered, she’s going to find out what war really feels like. Kasper beat me in a first blood match. I’m the WUK World Extreme Champion of the World, I bleed. Kasper only won because of that fact. She has absolutely no idea what she’s getting into. She has no idea what’s going to happen inside that TerrorDome.”
Henderson: “When are you going to be heading back to Syracus-?”
Wesley Crane: “Timmy, I think it’s time for me to go. I’ve enjoyed training with you… but it’s time for me to get back to Syracuse to take care of some business and then hop on my private jet to get to Britain.”
Timmy stands up and hugs Wesley.
Timmy Draven: “You know I’m always here. Draven Acres will always welcome you. I appreciate you!”
Wesley Crane: “You sure you don’t want to come to Britain with me?”
Timmy just laughs.
Timmy Draven: “I think my old friend Donzig has enough on his plate right now. I don’t think he needs one of his greatest rivals hanging around at the biggest wrestling event of the year. I’ll enjoy my time here on the land.”
Wesley Crane: “Alright, but if you ever change your mind, the flights on me.”
Timmy Draven: “My boy, I have my connections still. If I need a jet, I’ll get one… but I appreciate your offer.”
Henderson speaks up.
Henderson: “Uh, so can I hitch a ride with you?”
Wesley gives Henderson a look.
Wesley Crane: “Sure, you can ride in the back of my Jeep pickup truck.”
Timmy Draven: “Wesley…”
Wesley Crane: “Alright, fine, you can ride in the back seat… and you’re to be quiet the entire ride back to Syracuse.”
Wesley fist bumps his mentor. He turns and looks back at Henderson.
Wesley Crane: “Let’s go.”
Henderson: “Can I sit in the front?”
Wesley Crane: “No!”
Henderson: “Can we stop at McDonalds?”
Wesley Crane: “God no! That stuff will kill ya!”
Henderson: “How about Burger King?”
Wesley Crane: “No!”
Henderson: “Wendy’s?”
Wesley Crane: “As any other questions and you’re going in the back of the Jeep.”
Scene fades.
