XHF X*Crown Championship History
Current Champion:
Spike Kane
The X*Crown title has its roots in the original XHF. At Night of Champions 2 on March 30, 2003, a tournament was held between the champions of four dead federations. The titles were merged into the X*Crown, a new title to be defended to honor the feds that didn't survive. Over the course of its nearly 20 year history, the X*Crown has been held by the top names in the wrestling world and has been defended constantly. It represented the top of the business barring the XHF World title itself. When the XHF Network was born in the rebirth of the XHF, the Crown became the new de facto top title. With the XHF now hosting many other feds under its banner, the collection of dead fed top titles (which had ballooned to 18 at this point) represented the top of the network. The champion represented all those feds that had been collected under the banner of the X*Crown.
XHF X*Crown Championship rules state that it must be defended at each of the four main global shows, the championship becomes the top title in the fed that hosts the championship and is defended in that fed as the fed admins see fit. Accommodations can be made for non-RP feds to allow the title holder to tour and get matches. All global defenses are held under original XHF rules (ie: unlimited RPs and unlimited word count).
