Welcome to the XHF Network. The following is a Network Exclusive recorded after EoD Night 1 went off of the air.
Fans are beginning to exit their seats. Fans are buzzing talking about what Felix is doing with these briefcases when they all stop in place as the arena lights that turned on when the show ended dim again. The sounds of Imagine Dragons "Believer" begin to play overhead and the lights in the venue dim. The fans haven’t heard this song yet, but begin to scramble back to their seats in anticipation.
As the first verse ends black spiders fill the screen until it is completely covered in black, then one spider leaps towards the screen and leaves bite holes in the screen and at the spider bits the screen blue flaming pyros shoot from the stage. As the Chorus hits the Pyros die down and Venom comes from behind them walking down the ramp wearing a full body hooded trench so the hood covers his face. Slowly he drops down to one knee in the middle of the ramp and spreads his arms.
The crowd that did not return to their seats right away is now running back down to catch the first glimpse of the XHF legend as he makes his way out to the ring for the first time in seven years on XHF television.
Venom gets up to his feet and begins walking towards the ring and stops in front of the ring and looks from left to right with his hood still on and then enters the ring. Venom rolls into the center of the ring and pulls off his hood and drops to one knee again and points to the sky. Venom gets back up and takes off his trench and his T-Shirt as the song fades out.
Venom calls for the mic and one of the stage hands runs him one.
“Welcome everyone, to a new era of the Xtreme Hardcore Federation.”
He stops for crowd cheers.
“I’m sorry I am late. My partner made a wrong turn and we just got here. I didn’t come here to put down my partners ability to navigate Ohio, though. I came out here to talk to you about my big return and break a little bit of news about my first match back in the Xtreme Hardcore Federation.”
The crowd hushes in anticipation.
“It was already announced earlier tonight that I would be representing the place that now signs my paychecks, Gen-X Wrestling, at the global End of Days pay per view against a man I have plenty of history with and Slain’s championship pig. Don’t worry fans of GXW who just want them to get their day over that baseball field using company that also runs on the network, I won’t let you down and lose to a washed up former star like Venta did. Instead I will put down the over-the-hill man in my way, Hardcore Harry, like I should’ve done years ago when he took the XHF Championship away from me. Then I was distracted by a new shiney belt and let him get away. This time, though, the shiney belt that distracted me then is the one we will be fighting for now. Revenege will be on my mind, all these years later. After countless other championships and a stint at the top of another company, I am back and I will get revenge I never imagined I could get.”
Venom pauses and walks back and forth in the ring.
“Revenge won’t wait until the End of Days final. Revenge will begin this week, because I’ve got some ring rust to knock off and I need to not only get acclimated to this ring, but get used to my opponents as well. That’s why one week from today I will make my in ring return to take on Harold in a one-on-one match-up. We will not be alone as it will be a Thob on a pole match.”
The crowd pops, and then looks at each other kind of confused.
“I’m affectionately calling it a Thob Kabob match.”
The crowd chuckles.
“So in this match I will get my chance to do multiple things. First I can show the world that GXW made the right choice backing me before Venta let the company down. Second I will get to knock the ring rust off. Third I will get my first shot at revenge when I take out my years of frustration on Harry. Fourth and last but not least, when I put Harry down I will get my first look at Slain’s monster pig. Unlike everyone else who has come before me, when I get the opportunity I will do what no one else has even tried. I will light that pole on fire and everyone in the arena next week will join me in a traditional pig roast!”
