We see "The Soviet Monster" Duke Kosloff standing in an empty arena, with his cousin and business partner Levi Kosloff some refer to Levi as "The Godfather". The arena is the new FireStorm Wrestling Alliance building as Duke Kosloff left ICW due to an injury but mostly due to politics he decided to go back home to Moscow and start his own wrestling company. Duke and Levi the kosloff cousins but better known around the world as The Soviet Connection have plenty of money to do whatever they want and they have no problem paying for what they want. As for right now, Duke wants the greatest hardcore based wrestling company in the world he is actively recruiting members from all over the globe. Duke has entered himself in the XHF Networks End of Days tournament as an independent wrestler. His first match was less than 48 hours ago and against none other than Kira Izumi the AWF Prestige Class Champion and the Soviet Monster proved he was there to do more than win.
After such a well fought match Duke, feels it's time to start recruiting a bit harder now that the XHF Network has seen what FWA can and has produced. When it comes to the world of wrestling Duke Kosloff is a giant of a man and normally towers over his opponents by a good 8 to 9 inches but his next round match is against, a man who is almost as big as the Soviet Monster himself. Hyperion a man who believes he is a Greek God, this man even has followers who believe him to be a God. That is nothing new to Duke Kosloff as he has faced men before who thought themselves to be Gods, even Vikings. Duke is no stranger to people thinking they are more than what they actually are, hell even Duke himself ha voices in his head that causes him to do things and act certain ways he normally wouldn't.
Unlike Hyperion, Duke Kosloff is a warrior and it's not just a side effect of some head trauma or drug overdose. See Duke Kosloff has trained his whole life to master the craft of torture and destruction. With every battle, with every opponent, every war the Soviet Monster is in he learns more and more ways to cause pain and mayhem. Every day that passes the more dangerous the Soviet Monster becomes because with every passing minute the more control the voices receive. Duke is a very intelligent man and has done very well for himself but he tends to allow the voices or his emotions at times take over so he keeps his cousin Levi Kosloff around to help keep things under control business wise. When it comes to Duke inside the ring no one controls him or tells him what to do.
As the two men stand there inside there newly acquired building they are discussing where they want to take the company in which direction. Levi thinks taking it in a pure wrestling form would bring better athletes and talent, but that's not what Duke wants he wants a battleground, he wants the best of the best warriors, he wants the most horrific monsters among men, hell he wants wrestling Gods to battle for his enjoyment for the chance to wear any of the FireStorm Wrestling Alliance Championships. So while these two stand here in what appears to be an empty Roman Coliseum as Duke has always been impressed with the Roman battlefields so it was a no-brainer to design the inside of the arena to look like one. They begin to discuss the End of Days tournament a little more.
Levi Kosloff - " Cousin you may have your hands full this time your next round match is against a man of equal stature. Besides he's not all there he believes he is a Greek God."
Duke Kosloff - " Levi has that ever stopped me before or even affected me? Look at that goof I wrestled back in my early days in ICW what was his name Tugboat, love boat something like that."
Levi Kosloff - " Longboat! "
Duke stands there as Levi says the name Longboat and he starts to smile as he remembers who that was.
Duke Kosloff - " Longboat, the guy who thought he was from Vahalia, the Viking warrior. I beat him so bad he never came back had a very short uneventful career in ICW. So this Hyperion character yeah he may be big and strong but he is no God for real, now on the other hand cousin I am a MONSTER a REAL life MONSTER. "
Levi Kosloff - " Duke all I'm saying cousin is that you need to take this guy seriously he's big and he's good at what he does. Besides a win against him could set us up for major recruiting power. By what I have been able to confirm through my sources he is a major player in the wrestling world and he is high on loyalty to warriors in battle. You beat him maybe the respect you will earn can persuade him to sign a contract with FWA. "
The lights in the arena start to come on as the two owners stand there talking business, the men begin to walk towards the ring. The ring is no normal ring Duke had decided to go with an octagon ring just like the UFC. It doesn't have just ring ropes but a steel fence around the ropes for more damage. This area is ready for any and all hardcore style match or any straight up wrestling match.
Duke Kosloff - " You need to remember who this guy is facing I am the Soviet Monster, I am the Soviet Weapon and soon the world will know me as FIRESTORM!!!!!"
Duke Kosloff - " So who is to say this Hyperion will even survive our match yet alone be able to sign a contract with FWA."
Levi Kosloff - "Listen, cousin, you want to beat him that's a given we need that win over him to 1) advance in the tournament and 2) to show him and the world just how superior FireStorm Wrestling Alliance wrestlers are. Just think about what people will be saying when the owner of a wrestling federation, not an active wrestler wins the End of Days open tournament."
Duke Kosloff - " I know I know this is a big deal, a win means one step closer to signing some huge names in the wrestling business. But think of it this way to who needs them overpriced oversized ego maniacs anyways, what we need to do is sign some new talent some hungry talent to train hear in the NEW home of hardcore the FWA."
As the two proud owners stand in the center of their ring all of the lights are now on and shining brightly. You can see banners of past warriors all over the arena Nikita Koloff, Ivan Putski as these banners fly high and the Soviet flag can be seen all over the place FireStorm Wrestling Alliance is about ready to take over the wrestling world. Duke Kosloff has learned a lot while in this industry not just the physical aspect but the business side of it. The Soviet Monster has learned that if you want things to go your way you need a champion you can control but that is still able to run the roster too. As Levi Kosloff tries to figure out a strategy for the upcoming End of Days tournament Duke is trying to decide what wrestling warrior he wants to offer the spot of the Golden boy too. A few big names come to mind like former ICW stars "The Ace of Spades" Jack Diamond, Bobby Barratt or even his former tag team partner Ari Naxt. But Duke is smarter than that he wants someone that can be trusted but who still has the balls to do whats needed for business. Levi nudges Duke on the shoulder to get his attention.
Levi Kosloff - " Hey Duke, have you thought about trying to get your match against this Hyperion as a specialty match? "
Duke Kosloff - " Yeah, but they won't go for it the End of Days tournament is a straightforward wrestling match no gimmicks, the best will prevail. "
Duke Kosloff - " Tell you what cousin I do have an idea since we are here in the FWA ring and everything is set up why don't you get someone here to turn on those video cameras and let us do the first FWA promo. We can leave a message on the XHF Network for my opponent Hyperion and the rest of the network."
Levi Kosloff - " Sounds good Duke, I will get one of the guys here asap."
While Levi Kosloff gathers up the cameramen Duke gets ready to send a message to his opponent and the rest of the XHF Network, the Soviet Monster is preparing to put every wrestling company in the world on notice that FWA has arrived and that the Soviet Monster is already here.
After what seemed like an eternity Levi Kosloff was finally able to get the camera crew to their positions in the FWA arena. Duke is standing in the center of the ring next to his cousin Levi and ready to speak.
Duke Kosloff - " Wrestling world welcome to the FireStorm Wrestling Alliance, I am "The Soviet Monster" Duke Kosloff the owner of FWA and this is the newest home of hardcore wrestling. As you all may have heard we heard FWA will be opening its doors for its first show on November 3, 2017, in Moscow, Russia the home of FIreStorm Wrestling Alliance although we have this brand new arena we will not be having our opening show here. Yet we will be holding our first ever Friday Night ColdWar show at the Butyrka prison. Yes, it will be the greatest hardcore spectacle ever we will be introducing some of the most unique and dangerous matches that have ever been seen or attempted. We will also crown our first champion here in FWA, we will crown our ColdWar Champion, who will defend this championship every week on Friday Night Spectacle. "
The lights in the arena shut off as a red spotlight shines down on Duke Kosloff and a gold spotlight shines down on Levi Kosloff.
Duke Kosloff - " Now with that out of the way lets talk about the End of Days tournament going on. If you're a real wrestling fan you would know that I have advanced to the second round by beating the AWF Prestige Class Champion Kira Izumi in the first round. Now I will be facing a man that the world is calling to win this tournament Hyperion the Greek God. Now this match, by all means, should be the main event match at any of the biggest Pay per views in any of the biggest wrestling companies in the world. "
Levi Kosloff - " With that being said don't take my cousin lightly Hyperion, the Soviet Monster isn't called that for no reason. He is a complete MONSTER when he is inside the squared circle. He has fought many people throughout his career who thought they were wrestling Gods or immortal. I can guarantee that by the end of your match your time in the tournament will be over one way or the other."
Duke Kosloff - " What my partner and family member Levi Kosloff is so delicately trying to say is this if you decide to step in the ring with me, I will not hold back I will not show you any mercy I will not have any sympathy for you I will treat you as a hostile and I will do whatever it takes to end your career and advance mine. See Hyperion it's not personal it's simply whats best for my career and whats best for FWA. I may not know a lot about you yet but let me give you a guarantee by the time we face off at End of Days I will know everything about you, I will know your weaknesses, I will know your fears, hell I will know what you have eaten for the past ten years. So Instead of stressing over some briefcase you better start planning your funeral."
The two men stand there in the ring as the cameras keep rolling as Duke Kosloff just gave Hyperion a stern warning for their match at End of Days.
Duke Kosloff - " Let me explain something to you Hyperion hell to all of you in the End of Days tournament, I am not here to make friends, I'm not here to give you all pitty and lay down for you. I don't care if you have children or a wife or husband that's dying. I'm here to make a name for myself and for FireStorm Wrestling Alliance. So when I enter that ring Hyperion I am there to make you FEEL THE BURN!!!!!!!!!!! "
Levi Kosloff - " Before we end this message let me offer you a way out Hyperion or anyone watching this. If you want to continue your career and make something of yourself come to Moscow to the FWA Coliseum and fill out an application if not go ahead step into that ring with the Soviet Monster and find out exactly what FireStorm means. "
As Levi Kosloff ends his statement the two men motion to the cameramen to shut them down and they begin to exit the ring. As Duke Kosloff steps over the top rope to exit the cage that surrounds the ring ropes he begins to scream "FEEL THE BURN, FEEL THE BURN, FEEL THE BURN". You can hear feel the burn echoing throughout the building. The men are now heading towards the exit as they have a match to prepare for.
