Welcome to the XHF Network
Your video will load shortly.
We open up on a familiar scene, Nelly Angel standing in the hallway. He stands in front of a basic concrete wall with a mic in his hand before addressing the viewing audience.
“Welcome to the XHF Network. Nelly Angel here again, since I was eliminated from the End of Days Tournament, with XHF legend Scorpion.”
Scorpion walks into view and puts his hand on Nelly’s shoulder.
“Now now good chap, don’t get down on yourself. Not everyone can be a winner in the tournament like me.”
If Nelly wasn’t the nicest guy in the world he might show the slightest of negative emotion towards Scorpion, but he is so he just smiles and continues.
“Scorpion, as you said you did move on and now you’re matched up against AWF representative Jay Cutter.”
“Yes, I moved on against the lone representative of one company and now I get to represent the XHF proudly by knocking off one of the representatives of another company.”
“Yes, what do you know about your opponent?”
“Nothing.”
“What do you mean nothing?”
“I mean nothing.”
“Nothing?”
“Yeah, absolutely nothing.”
“How do you not know anything?”
“Because he’s a rookie of course.”
“You must’ve scouted him some? He’s had a handful of matches you could watch.”
“I didn’t even know the name of the guy I faced last week and I won, why change.”
“So you’re telling me you didn’t scout last week and you don’t plan on scouting this week either?”
“That’s what I’m saying.”
Nelly stops, looks slightly dumbfounded and scratches his head.
“So, nothing?”
“Well, I do think I know a little.”
“Okay, so what do you know?”
“Well, I feel like I know the name. Like I’ve seen him somewhere before. Somewhere where he was laying on the ground a lot with full grown men on top of him. Somewhere where he seemed to like putting his hands up the butt of other men, and then spent a lot of time on his back with other men on top of him. Somewhere where…”
“I’m going to stop you right there Scorpion. This is a family friendly broadcast.”
“I’m not sure what you thought I was talking about. He reminds me of a mediocre American football player.”
“Oh, yeah, I get it now.”
“What else more should I know? This tournament isn’t about him, the cat I beat last week or who I might have to face next week. This match is about the ancient being that Slain brought here and my revenge. This match and this tournament is about me and to get back, get back, get back to where I once belonged. This tournament is about my magical mystery tour on the way to the top of this company again. This is about all my loving of being the best wrestler in the world. This isn’t about a cat or a Cutter, but about a pig. So I will make everyone in my way, including Cutter, cry baby cry.”
“So you seem focused, but shouldn’t some of that focus be on your opponent instead of on the grand prize?”
“It is focused on Cutter, but he’s just another step. Don’t ever change, though Nelly, don’t bother me, don’t pass me by, because I’m moving on.
“Huh?”
“Exactly.”
Scorpion walks offline with Nelly looking bewildered at the end of the interview.
