The XHF Presents: Night of Champions VIII
(Live In Primetime on VTV at the XHF Arena in Minneapolis, MN)
(Live In Primetime on VTV at the XHF Arena in Minneapolis, MN)
____________________________________________________________________
*A mysterious scene opens up in a dark black room, with what appears to be a TV in it as well. Footsteps are heard, as the owner and boss of the XHF, Mongo The Destroyer walks in. He picks up a remote control and turns the TV on. There we see grainy-style footage of the main event finale at the very first Night of Champions back in March 2002:*
*He holds it in both hands and looks at it. He now must get back down to the floor to win the match. He shakes himself out of the daze and looks down to see Millennium ascending the ladder to the tier he is on. Millennium reaches as Rage struggles to climb down. Theres no time as Millennium pushes the ladder over with the last of his strength. He drops down as Rage and the ladder begin to fall. Rage is thrown from the ladder and drops nearly 40 feet and crashes through the Spanish announce table. The title falls within 5 feet of an unmoving, bloodied Rage. He must grab it to secure the win. Millennium knows this and drops down two tier two as quickly as he can. He walks to the edge to see Rage stirring. Millennium decides to save his title and he soars off in elbow drop form. He flies through the air and within 6 feet of Rage, Rage moves. Millennium crashes onto the wood from the announce table and the concrete floor. Rage reaches an arm over and grabs the Ultimate Title. He holds it up in the air triumphantly, still lying down. The bell rings and Rage is the new Ultimate Champion!*
Winner of the Triple Tier Greenhouse and NEW Ultimate Champion with 2 out of 3 Falls: RAGE!
*Mongo flips the channel to something else*
*Scorpion finally lets go of Reeshi, and Reeshi rolls out of the ring holding his knee. The ring announcer gives the XHF Title to the referee, as the new Champion sits there on his knees, crying in happiness. The referee hands him the championship and Scorpion buries his face in the championship, with blood and tears dripping down on it. The crowd is on their feet chanting "Scorpion!" as he looks up to the people. "My Hero" by The Foo Fighters is blaring over the PA system, as the second ever Grandslam Champion climbs up to his feet and holds the championship in on hand. Scorpion walks to all the corners of the ring and hold both arms in the air, holding the XHF World Heavyweight Championship up in pride. Reeshi is getting help to the back, as Night Of Champions II comes to a end with Scorpion strapping the XHF World Heavyweight Championship around his waist, while holding his arms in the air.*
*Mongo flips the station*
The sight of Destruction's body flying and the impact of both men hitting the canvas raises the volume in the Tokyo Dome significantly, and Reeshi makes the cover. One. Two. It won't end like this! Applause comes pouring from the crowd for Destruction's kick out. Both men lay and the referee starts his count but it doesn't get far before they stand. They exchange weak chops without the power behind them needed to make them effective. Reeshi goes for another Oreeshinator but elbows get Destruction out. Destruction goes for a Countdown to Armageddon but elbows get Reeshi out. Destruction grabs a side headlock and Reeshi shoves him to the ropes. Reeshi jumps with a flying clothesline as Destruction ducks. Destruction approaches Reeshi from behind and hits a knee to the back. Reeshi bends over in pain. Destruction bounces off the ropes and hits a flying knee to the back, knocking Reeshi to his knees. Destruction hooks up Reeshi and hits the blue thunder bomb! He lets go of Reeshi, not being able to make the cover. Instead he puts his efforts into getting to his feet and stalking Reeshi. When Reeshi is up he grabs him from behind and hits another blue thunder bomb. With a burst of energy Destruction shoves Reeshi aside, picks him up again and hits a third blue thunder bomb, holding the legs as hard as he can for one, two, THREE!
Winner and the NEW XHF Champion: Destruction!
*Mongo once again flips through the TV*
Venom falls off of Gravedigger, as the fans are on their feet from this match. Hardcore Harry is on one knee looking into the ring, until he places his head onto the mat. He shakes it, as he slowly gets off the ring and begins going up the ramp. The referee is handed the XHF World Heavyweight Championship from the timekeeper, as Venom is slowly pushing himself up. Gravedigger is still motionless inside the ring, as Venom is all the way up. The referee goes to hand Venom the championship belt, but Venom snatches it away from him. Venom looks around the arena, and then falls to one knee. Venom holds his arms up in the air, as the lights reflect off the championship gold. Venom holds his ribs with his free arm, as he holds the XHF World Heavyweight championship in the air. Venom pushes himself all the way up, and places the belt on his shoulder. Venom pats his XHF World Heavyweight Champion, as Night Of Champions IV fades with the image of a champion.
*Getting irritated, Mongo can't find what he wants...he flips again*
Mr. X climbs out onto the apron and pulls Mongo up. He points at the glass, barbed wire topped table and then tries to lift Mongo up on his shoulders, but can't. He then changes his mind and grabs Mongo by the throat. Mr. X tries to lift Mongo, but Mongo grabs the top rope to block. Mongo then hits Mr. X's arm to break him free of the hold. Mongo kicks Mr. X in the gut and pulls him back. The get to the turnbuckle and Mongo climbs up to sit on the top rope. He pulls Mr. X up with him and grabs Mr. X by the throat. Mongo tries to lift X, but X hits him in the face with a punch. Mongo then hits Mr. X back. Mongo then stands and is about ready to jump off, but Jane comes from behind Mongo and hits him in teh back with a forearm. Mongo lets go of X and tries to push Jane away, but she dodges. Bonnie comes from behind and pulls Jane by the ankle. Jane falls down and her head bounces off the apron. Jane turns around holding her jaw in pain and Bonnie blasts her over the head with a chair! Bonnie then goes up on the apron and hands the chair to Mongo. Mongo then blasts Mr. X over the top of the head with the chair. Mr. X starts to fall back, but Mongo grabs him. Mongo pulls Mr. X into him and between his legs. He lifts Mr. X up onto his shoulders and positions him for the Xtreme Edge. Mongo then jumps off with a top rope Xtreme Edge to the outside, tossing Mr. X down into the glass and barbwire covered table, causing Mr. X to go through all three! Mongo lays on the floor on his stomach. He very slowly crawls over to Mr. X in the debris and then drops with an arm over Mr. X's chest. One, Two, THREE!
Overall Winner and FINAL XHF World Heavyweight Champion: Mongo the Destroyer!
Cole: YES! Mongo's done it! He defeated Mr. X on the grandest stage of them all!
King: Mongo defeated the monster! Mongo is our final World Champion!
*Mongo now starts rampantly flipping through stations, each one even more various historic moments from Night of Champions including Charlie Velez, Spike Kane, Mr. X, Doc, Rat Bastard, Tara Fenix, MGK, AJ Phoenix, Reckless Jack and then....BOOM! The TV completely shatters and explodes into a million pieces. Mongo just stands there with the remote. He then turns around so that he is facing the camera and says:*
"Can you handle THIS much Xtreme action?"
*Mongo drops the remote and leaves as the scene finally fades.*
____________________________________________________________________
*Another deep but more generic voice now comes on in as various special effects happen to advertise the show's official opening across the screen:
"And NOW, the Xtreme Hardcore Federation and Velez Industries as whole proudly present to YOU the fans the "Night" we ALL dream of each and every year, Night of Champions VIII LIVE on Pay, Per, View!"
*The scene now shifts to the massive XHF Arena itself where AC/DC's "Its A Long Way To The Top (If You Want To Rock 'n Roll)" is being played loudly across the building's PA system as tons and tons of pyros go off all around the arena and around the ring, and the crowd itself is downright deafening at the same time. Finally the explosions end and the place is still roaring as our usual ace team of announcers, Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler, cut in from ringside....*
Cole: WELCOME TO THE XHF ARENA HERE IN MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA AS WE PRESENT TO YOU THE FANS, THE GRANDEST STAGE OF THEM ALL FOR THE EIGHTH ANNUAL OCCASION...NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS, LIVE ON PAY-PER-VIEW!
King: Darn right Cole. This may well go down as the greatest edition yet. Both major XHF titles are on the line including the X*Crown and XHF: No Mercy Titles in Unification and Triple Threat matchups respectively.
Cole: Speaking of which though...it's time for the opening match this evening. So without further introduction let's send it on down to ringside and get this shindig on the road shall we...
*As the lights slowly begin to dim, a fog begins to cover the arena. A chill runs through the crowd as they feel an unearthly presence. A ticking noise begins to fill the arena. Tick, tock, tick, tock.....The opening gongs of For Whom the Bell Tolls by Metallica blast out over the pa system.
"Make his fight on the hill in the early day
Constant chill deep inside
Shouting gun, on they run through the endless grey
On they fight, for they are right, yes, but who's to say?"
As the music continues to play, flames begin to slowly rise out from the sides of the entrance ramp, lining it all the way down.
"For a hill men would kill, why? They do not know
Suffered wounds test their pride
Men of five, still alive through the raging glow
Gone insane from the pain that they surely know"
As the chorus starts, Deathtrain walks out from behind the curtain. He stands at the top of the ramp, staring out into the crowd, watching each of their terrified faces.
"For whom the bell tolls
Time marches on
For whom the bell tolls"
Deathtrain begins to walk down the ramp.
"Take a look to the sky just before you die
It's the last time you will"
The flames on the sides of the ramp shoot up in a big explosion. Deathtrain continues to walk down the ramp.
"Blackened roar massive roar fills the crumbling sky
Shattered goal fills his soul with a ruthless cry"
Deathtrain reaches the ring and walks up the steel steps.
"Strangers now, are his eyes, to this mystery
He hears the silence so loud
Crack of dawn, all is gone except the will to be
Now they see what will be, blinded eyes to see"
Deathtrain climbs over the top rope and stands in the middle of the ring, staring into the fearful crowd.
"For whom the bell tolls
Time marches on
For whom the bell tolls"
The gongs of the outro ring out as Deathtrain stands in the middle of the ring, waiting for the match to begin.*
*Daredevil comes out to the ramp singing a random theme song then climbs the xtremetron and dives off of it into the ring, almost breaking his neck.*

Daredevil vs. "The Walking Nightmare" Deathtrain
______________________________
Deathtrain watches curiously as Daredevil stalks around the edges of the ring while the bell tolls. Officially underway, Deathtrain flushes ahead with a big boot, but Daredevil slides underneath, kips up, and lands a beautiful Russian legsweep to take the mammoth off his feet. Following with devilish antics, Daredevil puts the boots to his fallen adversary, taking advantage of this short feat quickly, before mounting him and pounding away until the referee intervenes.
Cole: Daredevil’s gonna get himself freakin’ disqualified!
King: Nobody cares.
Cole: I do!
King: You can’t be someone who cares, when you’re a no one.
Daredevil backs away and poses briefly before going back to Deathtrain only to get his leg kicked out from under him and Deathtrain dropping his leg over the abdomen of Daredevil! The crowd seems less then interested as Deathtrain rounds Daredevil up, who can barely collect his bearings and drops him with a brutal pump handle slam, shaking the ring in the process. Deathtrain, of course, follows with a pin.
1…
2... NO!
Cole: That was close!
Daredevil kicks out long before three would’ve been reached too much dismay from Deathtrain and the people in attendance. Daredevil clambers away as fast as he can, ducking beneath the bottom rope and falling to the outside as Deathtrain follows in hot pursuit, easily irascible as his prey has eluded him. Daredevil cowers away, rallying himself up and rushes around the ring, before rolling back in, soon met by Deathtrain who’s a step behind him. Deathtrain gets up with Daredevil waiting for him and gets caught with an exploder suplex!! Daredevil goes for the cover…
1…
2…
KICKOUT!
King: Not happening for the young buck.
Cole: Leave the kid alone, what’d he do to you?
King: Forced me to have to spend extra time sitting here with you.
Daredevil rakes his hair in utter disbelief as the official scurries out of harms way assuring his own safety above all else. Daredevil brings the behemoth back up and goes for a vertical suplex but gets easily stopped and reversed. Deathtrain continues his newly begun onslaught by bringing Daredevil and hoisting him up to his shoulders to go for the Rain of Fury, but once he goes to toss him away, Daredevil lands on his feet nearly behind him! Grabbing his waist, Daredevil hits the Love Heart! Cover!
1…
2…
3!!!
Winner via Pinfall: Daredevil!
King: Holy cow, Dardevil has done it, he's pulled off the previously unthinkable and defeated the veteran Deathtrain!
Cole: That he has, and what a huge momentum-building win it is for him no doubt, looks like his new alliance with and guidance from another veteran in Pyro is starting to pay some big dividends beginning with tonight's performance.
*At this point in the broadcast we now cut suddenly to what appears to be an innocent enough scene as it were, that of an empty backstage hallway somewhere in the building, except that is, for two rather mysterious looking figures who are noticed to be in deep conversation with one another, one of them wearing a jet back XHF hoodie with the full hood pulled over his head (apparently to keep his identity disguised), and the other being revealed right off the bat as none other than...REESHI! A massive string of crowd boos go up in the background over this as the camera itself pans in even further and begins to pick up on what he and presumably his much anticipated/debated accomplice are discussing right in mid-convo...*
: So then, you ready to shock the world once and for all in just a short while from now, to give that overzealous, coniving, two-timing little bitch Tara Fenix EXACTLY what it is she deserves for all she's said, and all she's already done towards the both of us?
*The accomplice/driver seems rather hesitant to answer at first, but after a moment of consideration/thought on his part, finally begins to nod his head in solumn, firm agreement to the question he's been posed by the man who's called the shots to this point as it were.*
: Excellent to hear, and in that case, you know precisely what the plan is already, not only when to strike but most importantly how to strike and send the crystal clear message that needs to be sent before the night is over. That being said, I got a few last minute preparations to make for the match on my own, so I'll see you soon enough, and knowing you as well as I do, well let's just say I got no doubt you'll do me plenty proud out there tonight with not only your actions, but the words you will speak as the truth of the matter rears its "Revolutionary" head and SHE gets what has been coming to her this entire time. In order words, take no goddamn prisoners when the time is right to unveil yourself and be unleashed from your silence and hiding at long last, you know I want fucking blood spilt and anything less is unacceptable, plain...and...simple! You got that?
*Again the mystery man shakes his head in fierce commitment to what has been requested/demanded of him accordingly, and with this Reeshi gives him once last long stare of confidence and pats him on the back briefly before making his way down the hallway to go get ready for an epic encounter with Tara that's inevitably set to come later on this evening. As for the unknown accomplice on the other hand, he's seen to be tightly clenching both fists and the full figure of his body appears to shake in downright seething anger and pent-up aggression for whatever the reason. He then pulls the hood a little further over his head, so as to make sure none of his facial features can be made out the least bit by anyone including the cameraman (who he has now noticed) just yet, and finally he vanishes off down the same end of the hallway as Reeshi himself did previously as we cut dauntingly back to ringside....*
Cole: Wow, just, wow, what the heck was all that about, and obviously the question remains, who in the heck is Reeshi's accomplice in the first place?!
King: Apparently time will tell Cole, time will tell.
Cole: According to the two culprits themselves it seems you may be right King, so we shall see what these two may or may not have in store soon enough...
Cole: What a night so far.
King: Of course that is why it is called Night of Champions
Cole: Lets gets set for our next match.
"The World Is Cold... Bundle Up!"
*When that is said over the PA system the lights go out threw the entire area. And soon as the music hits the green lights fill up all over the arena as”Get On Your Knees” starts playing threw out the arena. The fans look on booing already before Jason Anderson walks out from behind the curtain. Jason finally walks out from behind the curtain to be yelled at by hateful fans. He just stands there taking it all in smirking at the people as his towel rest around his neck on his shoulders. The music would blare out of the PA system as he would walk down the ramp giving the finger to fans, and telling them that he is better then all of em. He get to the ring, and roll in then to shoot straight up to throw his arms in the air. The fans reply with an astoundingly loud boo to Anderson. He just laughs it off as he walks over and relaxes against one of the turnbuckles.*
Announcer: Weighting in at 270 lbs from Pittsburgh, PA here is “The Beast From The North East” Jason Anderson!
Cole: Can you believe that Jason went into retirement
King: And now he is back in the ring facing
*Suddenly... The lights turn dark and... BOOM! Pyros blare throughout the stage as "Break Stuff" by Limp Bizkit begins to play. Michael Storm comes out in black wrestling shorts with yellow stripes on the sides. He begins to runs full speed down the ramp and then soon slides into the ring! Michael Storm gets up and then jumps to one turnbuckle and raises his arms, getting boos from the audience. Michael Storm jumps off and lands on his feet and stretches out his legs a little bit, waiting for the match to begin.*
Announcer: His opponent weighing in at 230 lbs. He is from The Bronx, New York here is “The Prince of Pain” Michael Storm!
Cole:Michael has been the XHF Hardcore Champion 3 times.
King: Don't forget about XHF Phoenix Champion

The ref signals for the bell. Both men comes out of their corners. They meet in the middle of the ring. They go to lock up but Michael grabs the arm of Jason and he twists it. Jason ducks under and reverse it. Now it is Jason who is twisting the arm of Michael. Michael reaches down and picks Jason up and SLAMS him to the mat. Jason did not let go of the hold and Michael finds himself on the mat. Jason yanks on the arm.
Cole: Michael thought he could get out of the hold.
King: Instead he is on his back.
Michael begins to get to his feet. Jason is twisting his arm. Michael is bent over. Michael doubles his fist and the ref sees this. Michael gets vertical. Jason again twist his arm. Michael gets in close with a KNEE to the midsection of Jason. Jason doubles over as Michael lands couple of ELBOWS to the neck of Jason. Jason goes to one knee. Jason gets up and Michael SNAP SUPLEX Jason to the mat. Michael moves back and then comes forward and nails Jason with a SWIFT KICK to the back. Jason screams in pain.
Cole: That was heard outside in the parking lot.
King: That had to hurt.
Jason falls to the mat. Michael rolls Jason over and hits a MOONSAULT. Michael goes for the cover and he only get a 2 count before Jason Anderson kicks out.
Cole: It is going to take more then that.
King: You are looking at a Champion.
Cole: Michael is a former Champion.
Michael gets to his feet. Jason starts to get to his feet. Michael goes for a bull dog attempt but Jason sends Michael into the ropes. Michael rebounds and is bought down to the mat with a CLOTHESLINE.
Cole: What a clothesline.
King: Almost took off Michael's head.
Jason is not wasting any time. He measure Michael up and LEG DROP right across the throat of Michael. Michael grabs for his throat. Jason keeps the leg on Michael's throat as the ref begins to count. Michael kicks out at the count of 2. Jason gets Michael into a sitting position and he applies a CHIN LOCK. The ref is checking to make sure it is not a choke hold. Jason is leaning on Michael's neck.
Cole: Smart move on “The Beast from the North East” Jason Anderson.
King: He is using his weight to try and wear out “The Prince of Pain: Michael Storm.
Michael is struggling to get to his feet. Jason is shaking his head no...as if he did not want Michael to get up. Michael is to his feet. He fires a ELBOW to Jason's stomach. Jason still has the hold on. Michael fires another ELBOW to the stomach. Jason had to let go. He tries to move back but Michael connects with a right and left combination closed fist to Jason's face. Jason hits the mat hard. The ref is warning Michael about the closed fists. Michael just ignores the ref.
Cole: “The Prince of Pain” is showing Jason why he is called “The Prince of Pain”!
Jason is leaning against the ropes. Michael nails him with not one not two but three FOREARMS to the forehead. Jason staggers away from the ropes. Michael grabs a fist full of hair and SLAMS Jason's head into the turnbuckle. Michael moves back as he looks at the crowd. Jason had dropped down and he rolled out of the ring.
Cole: This might not be a good place for Jason Anderson.
King: He is trying to take a time out.
Michael SLINGSHOT off the ropes and nails a CROSS BODY on Jason. Both men are on the floor. The crowd starts a chant Holy Sh*t...Holy Sh*t. The Ref tells them to get back into the ring. Michael gets to his feet first. He slides under the ropes just enough to break the count. Then he is back out on the floor. Jason is up on his feet. He nails a FIST to Michael's stomach. Michael returns the favor with a KNEE to Jason's stomach.
Cole: Someone may want to watch the ref.
King: He is only up to 4. They have plenty of time.
Michael grabs Jason's head and RAMS it into the steel post. Jason falls to the floor. Michael rolls back into the ring. He rolls right back out. He looks under the ring apron. He pulls something. He has a steel chair. The ref tries to tell him not to use it. Jason gets to his feet. He turns and you here “SMACK” Jason falls to the floor again.
Cole: My GAWG Michael just nailed Jason with a chair shot to the head.
King: Jason is bleeding from the head.
Michael picks Jason up and rolls him back inside of the ring. Michael takes the chair and throws it over the ropes. Michael gets back in the ring.
Cole: Michael is taking it to Jason. First Jason gets slammed into the steel post and then takes a chair shot to the head.
King: And he is bleeding. That is the great part. BLOOD!
Michael goes for the pin. The ref is in position to count. Jason kicks out at the count of 2 ¾.
Cole: Where did Jason get the strength to kick out.
King: This is XHF!
Michael picks Jason up. Jason begins to throw punches into Michael's stomach. Michael takes one, he takes another one. Michael then HEAD BUTT. Jason falls to the mat.
Cole: Jason is losing some blood. I think the ref should call this one.
King: NO way. Let this match continue.
Michael begins to STOMP away at Jason's stomach.
Cole: I think the events that took place outside the ring was Jason's down side.
King: He should have know better.
Michael picks Jason up. He throws Jason into the corner. Jason staggers out and Michael runs and SPEARS him. Jason goes to the mat holding onto his stomach. Michael is on his feet. He is waiting on Jason to get up. Jason slowly gets to his feet. He throws a left punch but Michael grabs his arm and takes Jason to the mat and he locks in BLACK BLOOD. Jason is screaming in pain. The ref is right there asking Jason if he want to give up. Jason is screaming NO!
Cole: How much more can Jason Anderson take?
King: We will soon find out.
Michael pulls back on the head of Jason Anderson. Jason is screaming in pain and he begins to tap. He is tapping like crazy.
Michael Storm release the hold and stand up. The ref raises his hand.
Announcer: Here is your winner via Submission, “The Prince of Pain” Michael Storm!
Cole: Jason Anderson now see why Michael is called “ The Prince of Pain”.
King: Actually he can tell you how it feels after a match with “The Prince of Pain”.
*The lights immediately go out now inside the arena. Everybody officially goes ape crazy, because some know who it is, and the rest...well, they like when lights go out. They think it's cool, you know. As the lights are out, spotlights fill the arena, white ones...like lightning as the sound of thunder crackles along the PA system. More spotlights come as more thunder is played along the system. It's when guitars fill up and the following is heard.
"THIS...FIRE...BURNS!"
All of a sudden, the opening drum and guitar riffs of "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage kicks on the PA system as white smoke fills the entrance ramp. It's to the point where the white spotlights are strobing to the beat of the song. But when the song finally kicks in, the strobelights are going mad as out from the white smoke, is Kevin Hardaway, black hoodie on over his ring gear as he gives off a wicked smile to the crowd and walks slowly to the ring. He walks up the ring steps now and perches himself on top of the nearest turnbuckle, like a hawk ready to strike as the song reaches fever pitch. He keeps smiling to the crowd as he jumps off and leans against the turnbuckle, looking at whoever's in the ring with him as he takes off his hoodie and throws it to the timekeeper...ready for battle.*
Cole: And here comes one of XHF’s loyals, Kevin Hardaway!
King: We just love him, Cole. He always goes out and gives it his best.
"You've all heard this before. How life has infinite possibilities. I don't believe that one bit. There weren't many paths for me to choose. Sometimes, there would only be one. From the limited possibilities I faced, the choices I made have brought me this far. That's why I value the path I chose... I want to hold true to the path that HAD to be taken."
*Everyone in the arena begins to buzz with excitement before they become silent, hearing the scream that kicks off "This Calling" by All That Remains. The lights dim down, red fog beginning to engulf the entry way while the fans are waiting. Once the chorus begins to blare through the sound system, the lights kick back on a tad bit, only enough to see the body of Brad Kane standing in the entry way, admist the fog. He inhales seeing the thousands of fans giving him an ovation, feeling their energy. Brad steps out from the fog and begins his walk down to the ring, slapping the hand of any fan who happens to have their hand over the barrier. Once at ringside, Brad Kane walks around, slapping more hands, getting more comments from the fans. With a smile on his face, he hops up onto the ring apron, facing the crowd. Brad enters the ring and heads to the nearest turnbuckle. He goes to the top and throws out his arms. After that, he leaps down and goes across the ring to go the top again. Brad nods his head before yelling loudly. He then goes back down and finds himself putting his back to the corner, waiting for his match to begin.*
Cole: And now we have Brad Kane.
King: Quite a successful man and he wants to continue his success.

Brad Kane vs. "The Killswitch" Kevin Hardaway
______________________________
The match begins almost immediately with a stiff punch from Brad Kane into Kevin Hardaway’s face, which knocks him to the ground. With the match already ending in Brad Kane’s head, he begins to laugh and pulls Kevin to his feet. Brad shoves Kevin’s head into his knee and begins to cause great pain into his face, and Kevin staggers back into the ropes. Brad then tops it all off with a clothesline out of the ring that forces Kevin Hardaway out of the ring and onto the cold, unforgiving outside floor. Kevin holds his back in pain and attempts to stand back onto his feet, where Brad Kane is seen on the top rope, posing in front of the audience and getting uproar from them. He jumps off, but is met with a spear, causing Brad Kane to crash and burn.
Cole: This match just began and Brad Kane was dominating!
King: Well Hardy is just fighting back. He has to keep this up if he wants to win.
Kevin Hardaway uses the ring apron to push himself off the ground, and begins to bring Brad Kane to his feet as well. Kane begins to struggle back as he forces an elbow into Hardaway’s stomach, but he doesn’t take that shit and with Brad’s hair, throws his face into the apron. Hearing the referee using the ring count, already at six, he throws Brad Kane into the ring and gets in himself by the seven count. K-Hard throws Brad Kane with an Irish whip into the corner but Brad Kane reverses it and Kevin is into the corner. Brad runs into the corner with a forearm, but Kevin jumps on top of the turnbuckle, completely forcing Brad into the turnbuckle. K-Hard then tries to pull a fast one by grabbing Brad Kane and rolling him into a pin, but Brad is able to keep composure and uses the roll to his advantage. He grabs Kevin’s waist and throws him down for a powerbomb. He keeps his hold onto Kevin and slams him down for a second powerbomb. He picks up Kevin one more time and this time, Kevin is laying down strike after strike onto his old rival and Brad Kane decides to fall down and catapult Kevin Hardaway into the turnbuckle.
Cole: Brad Kane regains control!
King: But for how long? Kevin Hardaway is a three time United States Champion.
Cole: Brad Kane was a former XHF Champion.
King: Nope, RECKLESS JACK was. And he won it ONCE.
Cole: Just try to be impartial, King…
Kevin Hardaway tries to scrape himself off the turnbuckle and turns around to find Brad Kane going for the BK Backfist! Kevin Hardaway, being as quick as he can, ducks that and spins behind him. He then grabs him, and locks him into The Killswitch! Brad Kane immediately realizes the trouble that he is in and goes ape shit. Kevin Hardaway pulls harder, and harder, tearing away at what little hope Brad Kane has left in winning this match. Brad Kane is about to tap out, until he feels himself out for ropes. Kevin sees his legs moving so he tries to push back, but it’s too late! Brad Kane uses his leg to grab the bottom rope! Kevin Hardaway, upon referee instruction, has no choice but to let go and lay off Brad Kane until he can get himself a breather. He backs off until he gets back to his feet. Kevin Hardaway smiles at Brad, lulling him into a false sense of security before grabbing his face and driving it into a knee. Brad Kane falls back, covering his face and discovering blood.
Cole: Brad Kane is bleeding!
King: Kevin Hardaway isn’t letting anything stop him now!
Brad Kane wipes his face of blood and tries to spot Kevin Hardaway and where he is now. He finds him on the top turnbuckle and he jumps off, hitting him with a flying splash. Referee goes for the pin: One… Two… Kickout! Brad Kane explodes off and pushes Kevin Hardaway far off his body. He gets up, and stalks Kevin Hardaway until he gets up. Kevin Hardaway gets up… AMG Special #3! K-Hard takes all of it! Brad Kane covers Kevin Hardaway! One… Two… Three! …or that’s what would have happened if the referee wasn’t knocked out. Brad Kane looks at the referee, lying on the floor as a result of Brad’s monstrous kick out.
Cole: They just don’t make refs like they used to.
King: Velez got cheap on us!
Brad Kane gets up and shakes his head, beyond furious. He begins to lay strike after strike onto Kevin Hardaway’s face. Kevin Hardaway is struggling and Brad is trying to end this match as quickly as possible. He begins to pick up Kevin, but Kevin isn’t going to play into his little games. He elbows Brad Kane in the stomach, forcing him to step back and then give another… Then another… Kevin Hardaway then forces Brad Kane into the ropes. Brad Kane comes back with a strong forearm but before Kevin Hardaway can fall down, he picks him up, about to hit the Love Meglan Driver, but as he brings him up, Kevin slips out! Brad Kane turns around… Into a Williams Driver! Brad Kane falls to the floor and Kevin Hardaway goes for the pin! The referee begins to stir and crawls to make the pin! One… Two… Thr-KICKOUT!
Cole: How did Brad Kane kickout!?
King: It’s impossible! Just impossible!
Kevin Hardaway rolls off Brad Kane and all three key players in this match are on the floor, trying to get up. The first one to get to their feet is… The referee! (Sorry, anticlimactic. I know.) The next one would be Kevin Hardaway, bringing Brad Kane to their feet and begins to lay him down with a punch, in which Brad Kane immediately reciprocates. This exchange goes on until Kevin Hardaway is able to lay a punch after another, forcing Brad Kane into the ropes. With another Irishwhip, he delivers a spine buster to Brad Kane then… a pose! K-Hard looks like the end is near, and he intends to make good on his promise. He brings Brad Kane to his feet and then over his shoulders, going for the Asylum Bomb! ..except that Brad Kane is able to slide off his shoulders. AMG Special #2! This uses up all of Brad Kane’s strength and the pin is made: One… Two… Three!
Winner via Pinfall: Brad Kane!
Cole: And after the long fought and even controversial at times battle, Brad Kane is able to come out victorious!
King: And not only was he able to win the match, he gets a handshake also!
*After a couple minutes of gathering their energy and strength, Brad Kane and Kevin Hardaway are in the ring, still staring at each other. Kevin Hardaway, out of sheer requirement if nothing else, extends his hand. Brad Kane accepts it, and after a moment or so of glaring at each other, Kevin throws his hand off and walks out of the ring with a somewhat disgusted look smeared across his face.*
King: Awww now wasn't that sweet? I think they’re best friends now.
Cole: Not quite King, not quite....
*As the previous match comes to a close, we cut directly to backstage, where none other than Doc himself is at a water dispenser to get a drink in between preparing for his match up against Mongo. When he turns around however, he is met by MGK, who 'accidentally' bumps in to him, shoulder to shoulder, knocking Doc's cup of water out of his hand, and meanwhile a loud crowd roar from ringside is overheard in the background over what's just transpired here. Doc turns around with an angry look on his face, but as soon as he sees it is his long-time rival MGK, his face simply turns to one of pure hate. MGK is shooting the exact same look back at him, then gives a cocky grin.*
: Oh...sorry about that bud. Anyway, your stupid water isn't important. Do you know that your little sister is hanging around with my girlfriend?
: Yeah, and?
: What? You don't see any problem with that?
: Why would I? Jennie is a grown woman, I don't get in her way of having fun and she doesn't get in mine. The way I see it, what happened before between us has nothing to do with either of those two ladies.
: Maybe you don't see it that way, but I do. You're obviously forgetting just some of the things that I've done to you and your close associates in the past. I'm giving you a chance here. Keep her away.
*With that, MGK walks off, seeming far from happy, and the camera cuts back to ringside on the image of Doc snarling right back at MGK's comment.*
*"I'm too sexy for my shirt" hits as Sexy Jason comes out from the curtain. He points to his abs. You can hear him saying I'm buff and I'm the stuff as he walks to the ring. He slides underneath the bottom rope. He goes to a turnbuckle stands on it and points to his abs and the crowds says Its not sexy unless Sexy Jason says so! He jumps off the turnbuckle and goes to a second turnbuckle, he stands on it points to his abs and the crowd says Its not sexy unless Sexy Jason says so! He jumps down and get ready for his match.*
*The crowd gets to their feet as Iggy Pop's "Lust for Life" kicks up and the youngest Destroyer, Congo the Destroyer walks out with a big smile on his face. He waves to the crowd as he slowly walks to the ring with his manager, Joey Hawke in tow. Upon reaching the ring, Joey jumps onto the apron and holds the ropes open for his client, who climbs inside, ready to wrestle.*
*The crowd is deathly silent as the beginning guitar riffs of "I Walk Alone" by Saliva hits. There are mixed reactions from the crowd, some cheers, some boos.
"I Walk Alone!!"
As soon as the opening line is said, red, orange and yellow multicolored pyros begin to shot from the front and sides of the stage, firing straight up. Then, the entire stage is engulfed in flames, shooting from every pour of the stage.
"This television has a poison on its breath.
This counter culture of both wicked lies and death.
It makes my eyes bleed everytime I turn around.
How will they all feel when I
bring them to the ground?"
The fire splits in the middle as Mark Evil walks out onto the stage, looking off into the crowd. He continues down onto the ramp as the fire builds back up. As he walks down the ramp, the fire behind him slowly dies down.
"And I'll say.
I walk for miles inside this pit of danger.
A place where no one follows me, I walk alone.
Huh!"
Mark Evil stops just before the ring and slowly walks over to the stairs. He slowly walks up them and steps over the top rope to get into the ring. He then raises he arms, and as soon as they drop, the stage and ring posts erupt in bright red pyros, shooting off in all directions. Mark then stops and looks around in the crowd with an evil smirk on his face. He then stands and waits for the match to begin.*
I'm sick of all these people talkin' out their heads.
I've never understood a damn thing that they said.
From words to actions never
knowing what they're about.
I guess I'll have to chew them up and spit them out.
Announcer: Now from Glendale, Arizona weighing in at 275 pounds. "The Evil One" Mark Evil!
*Jet's "Rip it Up" starts pounding out of the PA system as Nelly Angel comes bursting out of the back. He runs out onto the entranceway. Nelly then runs down the ramp and slides into the ring, ultra pumped for his match.*

"Simulmatch"
(Two separate matches taking place simultaneously in side by side rings)
Sexy Jason vs. Congo the Destroyer (w/ Joey Hawke)
Mark Evil vs. Nelly Angel (w/ Randy Angel)
______________________________
Sexy Jason looks over at Congo the Destroyer in his wrestling gear with disgust as in the second ring Mark Evil is glaring at a super-pumped Nelly Angel who is jumping up and down in anticipation. The two referees synchronise themselves with each other and the timekeeper before the bell is rung and the matches both start. Jason and Congo tie up. Jason is taken by surprise as Congo easily shoves him off into the ropes. Congo follows up with a body charge clattering his opponent before keeping the pressure up with an elbow pushed into the neck while leaning into the ropes. Knowing the rules well Jason holds his hands up and waits for the referee to break Congo off of him, and after they are separated he looks down on his shoulder to see if it has left a mark. In ring two there is an explosive start as Nelly jumps at Mark with a cross-body at the sound of the bell but is caught, turned ninety degrees and almost dropped with the Hell Spike with barely three seconds on the clock before slipping away to the corner to think of a more considered approach. The first stage of his new considered approach consists of trying to get out of the way of a spear and failing.
King: This job gets harder every year.
Cole: You watch that match and I'll do this one. When something big happens, yell.
Mark Evil yanks his opponent up from behind and throws him with a high release German suplex, but Nelly lands on his feet. A crucifix pin pulls Mark to the floor for a two count. Once up Nelly bounces off the ropes. Mark Evil lifts him with a back body drop but once again Nelly lands on his feet, running to the opposite ropes and springing off with a big leg lariat. In ring one Sexy Jason has ducked underneath a big Congo clothesline and hooked him up in an abdominal stretch. The move doesn't last long as Sexy is trying to shield his eyes but makes sure not to lose momentum by transitioning into a successful back suplex. He gyrates for the crowd and swoops back towards the now-standing Congo with a dropkick to the knee but Congo lifts his leg away leaving Jason eating mat. Congo then shuffles into position, lifts his other leg and hits the Xtreme Drop onto the back of Jason's head! He rolls the body over making the pin attempt and the referee counts one, counts two and a kick out. Congo looks aggravated but soon points to the sky, signalling that he's about to go up top.
Cole: Yell! If Congo's doing what I think he's doing, Sexy Jason is about to go splat.
Congo balances himself on the top rope facing the outside of the ring. Jason looks up, still weakened from the Xtreme Drop. He panics once he sees Congo's unshapely ass but hasn't the strength to get out of the way. Congo bends down and flies backwards with The Tide Turns... onto the referee who has been pulled into the way by Sexy Jason! The crowd reacts to the impact as the referee in ring two notices what has happened. He makes the signal to backstage for the backup referee to come out as the original one appears to be out cold. He does this frantically because behind him Nelly is stuck in a sharpshooter with both his hands on the ropes. A wave of realisation passes over his face before he gives up and returns to his ring, breaking the hold.
King: I think the referee has just realised that he IS the backup! What happens now?
Sexy Jason takes advantage of the situation by whipping Congo into the corner and following up with a series of European uppercuts. When Congo is dazed Jason steps up two ropes so that he is standing over him and flexes for the crowd before delivering punches to the head. The remaining referee sees this from ring two and barks out a five count. Jason stops when he hears this and jumps down before pulling Congo away from the corner by his head and hitting a quick, vicious piledriver.
King: It looks like our ref has to do two jobs at once. Now he knows how we feel!
Cole: To be fair, we are two people.
In ring two Mark Evil has lifted Nelly up for the Evil Bomb but ends up eating tornado DDT. Nelly springboards off the rope with a moonsault but somehow Mark Evil is straight back up and catches him across his shoulders, using the momentum to turn straight into a Death Valley Driver!
King: Yell!
Once again Evil slaps on the sharpshooter, this time in the centre of the ring. The referee gets down to the level of Nelly's head and asks over and over if he chooses to submit. While this is happening Sexy Jason has Congo in a rear waistlock trying to hit a German suplex, but doesn't get the chance as Joey Hawke smacks him in the back of the head with a steel chair! Congo turns to see what has happened and isn't pleased, but eventually goes along with his managers orders to make the cover. Joey then yells at the referee to get over and count the pin. The referee hears and abandons Nelly before trying to cover the distance between rings as quick as he can. As soon as the referee leaves Randy Angel - who has seen everything so far – enters the ring and makes an intrusion of his own, hitting Mark Evil with two steel chairs together!
King: That's logic, right there. Double the chair, double the flair!
Cole: Has Randy Angel ever been up against an opposing manager as despicable as himself?
In ring one Sexy Jason kicks out at two, but as soon as this is established by the referee he has to chase after another situation of Nelly Angel making a cover in the other ring having seemingly turned the tide. He makes it across and counts the pinfall attempt for two, but by this time Joey Hawke has showed his determination not to be outdone by scoring another chair shot on Sexy Jason, this time with three held at once! The referee turns around to see Congo arguing with his manager and pointing to order him out of the ring to the cheers of the crowd. The referee moves back to ring one in order to second this motion, this time more wearily than before.
Cole: Those of you watching on VTV's premium service can opt to see split screen coverage of both rings at once, giving you a better view of the action than the man in black and white there.
Predictably we see Randy Angel trying to collect four chairs together. He fumbles them, dropping them on the floor to his frustration. Instead he improvises by entering the ring and pulling Mark Evil's hair. Nelly takes the situation into his own hands by evicting his manager from the ring at the same time as the referee is doing the same to Joey Hawke. The managers step backwards reluctantly while professing their innocence and bump into each other. After turning around their eyes meet for only a second before a fist fight erupts between them! The crowd spur them on but the 'action' is disrupted by Nelly being powerbombed on top of them by Mark Evil! Despite the hostility between the pair shown earlier Nelly is seen apologising to his manager but Mark doesn't give them time to make up as he climbs out of the ring and lifts Nelly into ring one where the referee is.
King: Thank god.
Mark Evil continues to manhandle Nelly in the ring and lifts him up for the Evil Bomb. At the same time Congo hits Sexy Jason with the Out of Nowhere Superkick! Nelly struggles but is held firmly in the air. Mark Evil steps back away from the ropes to hit the move, and trips over Sexy Jason! Nelly lands on top of Evil as Congo makes the cover on his opponent with the referee watching both as he counts one, counts two, and only two for both match ups!
King: Yell! Sorry, force of habit.
Congo gets up and shoves Nelly for getting in the way of his match before Mark Evil is up and does the same for him. The referee is able to stop the conflict from escalating but the problems don't stop for Congo and Evil as they are jumped by their opponents. The Interviewer's Invert plants Mark Evil to the mat as Sexy Jason scoops up Congo The Destroyer and drills him down with the Sexy Relaxer. Nelly is still full of energy and ascends the turnbuckle, calling for the Angel-Zimmer. Sensing a pinfall coming up from the opposition Sexy Jason darts to the leg side of the fallen Congo and locks in the Sexy Stretch. The Angel-Zimmer hits like a dream and the referee counts one, counts two, counts THREE! Nelly Angel gets to his feet and punches the air in celebration, but is greeted by the grinning face of Sexy Jason as his arm is raised in victory as well!
Winners via Submission/Pinfall Respectively: Nelly Angel & Sexy Jason!
Cole: Congo The Destroyer must have submitted just in the nick of time for Sexy Jason's sake! He takes the match!
King: So did Nelly win his fall afterwards, or did the simulmatch end when Jason won his bout?
Cole: As commentators, we really should know.
*Thereafter Sexy Jason treats the female fans with some poses while perched on the turnbuckle. The crowd joining together with a cry of “It's not sexy unless Sexy Jason says so!” is the soundtrack for the now-more-sheepish managing duo to enter the ring and congratulate/chastise their respective clients, looking worse for wear after their clash.*
