Teenage Dream (O2 Rukia Matsuoka)

[Miracle Masami]

The scene opens in the middle of Triple S show in one high school as the screen shown a group of high school students enters the arena while there are two competitors fighting against each other. They showcase their wrestling skills, leaving a bunch of high schoolers petrified in awe with those moves.

Cherry Miyawaki: Waaaahhh.....

[Kira Izumi]

Rukia and Cherry are sparring before a live event show as the high schoolers sit down on the bottom bleachers. Rukia and Cherry, both fairly new to the sport continue to practice their moves until they hear claps and cheers from the small group of kids now sitting in the gym. Rukia calls time out before she goes to the corner of the ring and grabs a towel and water bottle.

She chugs down the bottle of water before going over to the bleachers her self and sitting down, waiting for Cherry to step out for a break too. Cherry comes out and the two take a rest before Rukia picks up a conversation.

"(Hey, Cherry-Chan wanna work on some promos now?)"

[Miracle Masami]

Cherry looks at the one who is talking to her as she really doesn't understand at all about what she just said. She's trying to figure out what she meant but still, she doesn't get what she's talking about.

Cherry Miyawaki: Eeh? P-Promo? What is a Promo? Also, who are you?

[Kira Izumi]

"(I'm your opponent at the next Sakura Saturday Stampede show down in the Okinawan hicks. Your quiet green to this ain't you? A promo... is essentially what wrestlers do when they talk infront of the crowd while being in the ring or back stage in post match interviews. I'm a rookie too. Your actually going to be my first ever opponent.)"

"(I was just here to scout out the competition, so to speak. I think we can put on a good match later this month, but... you seem to be a little too nice. I've been around for about a year and a half as a manager and from what i've seen it's tough for folks who're too nice... I just wanted to see what we could work off of during our match is all though. Would you like for me to give you an example of a promo?)"

[Miracle Masami]

Cherry Miyawaki: Oh, so we are supposed to talk about each other before our match come? Well, I mean.... I always be ready to fight everyone. It is my dream to make my father smile in heaven to see me look great on that ring. But to talk and do something about my opponent with words..... eeh, I think there's a lot for me to work on.

[Kira Izumi]

"Hai!(we talk about each other to hype up our match and make it much more interesting for the fans. We make them invested in us and our match by talking good and or bad about each other in what we would call a promo. We use our words to get people hooked and interested and then when they tune in we wow them with our wrestling and our moves. Does that make sense?)"

[Miracle Masami]

Cherry nods her head, listening to every explanation that her future opponent is saying.

Cherry Miyawaki: Okay okay..... I think I'm starting to get it. But still, I think I need to do a lot of training in that department. So, umm.... could you please do me a favor to show me how to do it? Don't worry, I think I can reply it right away. Could you please.... senpai?

She gives Rukia a smile with her silly face shown.

[Kira Izumi]

"(You know... i'm starting to really get a liking to you! I'll give you a quick example.)"

Rukia stands up and "gets in character" as she starts walking back and forth, holding a water bottle like a mic.

"(Oh and by the way, i'll just use you as an example ok? ok! three... two... one... and! ACTION!)"

"(Cherry Miyawaki, eh? a young up and comer just like me... But what she fails to realize is that the Supa Seiyu has a fighting spirit unlike any other! I represent THE stable in the XHF Network here in SSS. MASAMURA-kokka will either add a new member or add another name to their list of fallen enemies. SO what's it gonna be Cherry-chan?! Are you gonna end up like all the rest or will you come to your senses? The choice is yours... but you only get one chance before i make that choice for you.)"

"(I see something in you Cherry-Chan... something that others probably don't see. You have something deep inside of you and you've been born into this business. You know many things other ladies here don't... but your still a rookie. I'm about to have my first match with you my self... but i've been trained by one of the best tag team wrestlers to step foot in japan. I've been training in the FCPW Dojo along the likes of Gals like Yuki Sakaraba in AWF, guys like Sui Obata and a few rookies out in the indies... I've lived this business for almost two years now. ANd if you think you can beat me! then you have another thing coming sister! because Rukia Matsuoka! is ready and if i'm going down so are you!)"

[Miracle Masami]

Cherry claps her hands and looks amazed by that performance.

Cherry Miyawaki: Wow.... that's cool! Okay, I won't lose. Let me try on my own.

Cherry and Rukia switch place as now it's the little newbie's turn to deliver a promo. She clears the throat as she begins her talk

Cherry Miyawaki: Hi, my name is Sakura. or maybe you will know me more as Cherry Miyawaki. I am 18 years old and I'm still study in high school while doing wrestling as a part time activity. Well, umm.... My dad was a puroresu legend, Yohei Miyawaki. Perhaps you know him as Ouroboros Yohei and as you already know, he passed away about three months ago. Before he passed away, he told me that I don't have to follow his legacy as a pro wrestler and I can choose anything as long as I am happy to do it. And when my father was still with us, I really hate wrestling. How can you drop yourself, make yourself in pain but still enjoying it and gain a lot of money anyway? But then, I am starting to grow up and realize something that my father was doing this because not only he wanted to make a living for his own family, but to make a name not only for himself, but for his most precious thing in his life too. When he was raising his championship belt, He's not doing it for himself, but it's for his beloved wife and his only little daughter. and then I realized that my name is somewhat lifted because of that. I wonder if my father was actually working in a simple office or just opening some tofu stall in Kinshicho market. People might know who I am right now.

Sorry, I might a little bit ahead of myself with this storytelling but then again I am standing here now, not for a pressure or anything. It's because I want it by myself. I want to make my parents, who is no longer watching me proud of their daughter down here. I want to give the warmest gratitude to them because wrestling is something that makes this family has its own pride. But then again, I am really new in here, I am not carrying my father's moves or something. I really start it from the beginning. I might not as skillful as my father as he never directly taught me everything inside the ring. But he really taught me a lesson that maybe none of his disciples can get it. He taught me about a hard work, fighting spirit, integrity and most importantly a sincere love from a father to his only daughter. I have all of that! He was once told me that "Hard work will never betray" so I'm living with that lesson of life and keep working hard to make my father and my mother proud of their child up there in heaven. This month, I will have my debut. I am facing a real talented wrestler in Ms. Matsuoka. She might be a good one and I know that she won't playing around. But you know, so am I.... This is not the place where I am playing around with everything. I am working hard, train seriously and most importantly, I have a promise to make with my parents to always be happy and fun while doing something I love. Mother, Father, wish me luck!

Cherry ends the promo with a smile as her finger is pointing upwards.

Cherry Miyawaki: Oh, God.... I am so nervous!! How did it look? Terrible, isn't it?

[Kira Izumi]

Rukia is seen clapping with a smile on her face.

"(That was pretty good for your first time! And with that we can learn allot about who you are too. Besides that, a high school student... you'll surely start getting all of those teenage boys in our shows! and a bunch of younger girls who look up to you if you keep at it! A thing most popular wrestlers have though, is a catchphrase or a nick name of sorts. Something that tells off a little about their personality and character. After all when we go out there in the ring or on camera we're playing over the top personalities. For the most part anyway. Not too sure about that Ember Ferarri, she kinda scares me to be honest with ya! and so does that Kuroi girl... a little bit creepy...)"

"(You've got something though. You just need to refine your technique and your skills. Seriously though, i think by next year you could become something special here if you really keep at it and train hard!)"

Rukia gets up and walks towards Cherry.

"(Say, Cherry-chan... would you like to come train with me and a few friends when ever you get the chance? I think they could really help you out and give you a few pointers and tips to help you down the line.)"

[Miracle Masami]

Cherry's face turns red as Rukia said that.

Cherry Miyawaki: R-really? Well, thank you then.... I promise to be better next time I do this again. And speaking of training, I am actually done for today but I have time to give it another shot so.... eh, why not?

She gives Rukia another smile.

[Kira Izumi]

"(Ok... do you have a LINE or e-mail i could contact you with? Oh and anywhere you'd like to meet up at? How does training tomorrow sound? The place is up in Sapporo though. I'll let the guys know i'll be having a guest coming over and we'll help you out then, sound good Chery-chan?)"

[Miracle Masami]

Cherry Miyawaki: yeah, I do have.... Let's go to the locker room. I left my phon there, we can trade contact there if you want. And by the way, isn't Sapporo too far away? I have a small ring that my dad and his disciples used to train so maybe we can use that.

[Kira Izumi]

"(We can drive there. That's there main building, but there's another on the outskirts of Shibuya too. Just lead the way to the locker rooms and i'll follow you.)" Rukia says as she waits for Cherry.
