*The lights go black and blue and red strobes circle the arena. The Xtremetron flashes The Master of Puppets has returned! Shoot Me Again by Metallica blares through the speakers. The tron shows segments of DT hitting his various finishers on opponents. Death Trap steps out onto the ramp in his blue trenchcoat and shades. He has on his favorite black hat and is carrying Homer, his lucky bat. He has no shirt on and has on his blue and red striped leather pants. He has on black boots and grapple gloves. He gives the Grand Slam sign and triggers a huge pyrotechnic chain reaction. The tron begins showing flashes of DT taking various weapon shots and standing up again. The lights brighten. He walks to the ring and takes off the hat, coat, shades, and drops the bat. He steps to the center of the ring and his arms in a cross. He then gives the Grand Slam sign again and sets off one final pyrotechnic eruption.*
DT: Well it is the eve before one of America's favorite holidays. Independence day is tomorrow. And that means it's 24 hours until Gastro when I get to defeat Kanyon for the first of a 2 time performance. That's right. When I beat Kanyon I get a shot at his title on the Birthday show. If he makes it there. Hey he may want to make my shot at the PPV if I pummel him bad enough. Wouldn't matter as long as I get my shot. That Phoenix Title is the first piece of gold I will be hunting for here in XHF. And when I set my sights on something . . . I usually take it, maybe not the first time but I take it. You see I have something I have to prove here in XHF. I have only 2 wins so far. Granted one match I put up a hell of a fight and lost to a brick, another was a handicap match. I have had only 2 LEGITIMATE matches here in XHF to show my stuff and X doesn't really equate to much. So Harry was my proving grounds and I think by beating him within an inch of his life counts for something. But it has been over a month here and I need to strive for something. And any title would do but something about Kanyon made me want to take him out. Really . . . something made me want to pound his ugly face inside out.
*cheers*
DT: He thinks he's so high and mighty for beating Raven . . . took him a month to get back the title he lost to him the first time. Great match but not so great fighters. He faced the same man over and over for a month and it took him that long to get a victory. Frankly the Master of Puppets was not impressed and was quite bored by their whole affair there. Kanyon you are on to a new foe, me. You are onto someone much tougher than any Raven could ever be. And I really don't think you can handle it. You come out here all the time like you are good or something and yell WHO BETTA THAN KANYON?! And everytime you get the same response . . .
crowd: EVERYBODY!
DT: But it just doesn't sink in does it. What will it take? Is your ego REALLY that big? Is your skull really that thick? Granted there are a few here who I can honestly say you are better than but I can count them on my fingers, something you probably can't even do . . . count. I know it's hard but you have to try. You see counting is an important skill. Or at least it will be. You see after the next two weeks you will do a lot of counting. 1, 2 weeks and you'll have . . . lost to me 1, 2 times for a 1, 2, 3. You'll have lost your Phoenix Title for a 1, 2 . . . 2nd time. And you'll have been embarassed 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, ah who knows how many times at my hands! Hell I could count to a million and that wouldn't be enough. Then again you could count your ounces of skill probably. *he pauses* Wasn't that hard now was it. ZERO! That's why! Non-existant. You see Death Trap does not like to be all that serious unless he has to outside the ring. But in the ring is different. I'm an angry attack dog guarding his yard. And you are the lowly trespasser who will get the teeth in the ass. And to make it clear for your simple mind, I dont intend to bite your ass, I intend to beat it to the dirt and use it as a punching bag. Oh wait . . . my bad that's your face. Whoo . . . woopsies! Hell anybody could have made that mistake. Oh well. Hey Kanyon there is an upside to this. After I beat you you can go back to winning simple matches against jobbers and look good again, but for now you have to be taught a lesson in pain. Pain 101, your instructor is the Master of Puppets. And Kanyon you are the head puppet. I think it's about time to cut the strings don't you?
*cheers*
DT: Kanyon that belt means a lot. It signifies that the holder is an esteemed wrestler with a fairly high level of skill. That is why I can't let it become a mockery by letting you keep it. You can't hold it anymore. It simply wouldn't be right for it. It would diminish it's value. It's time to let a real champ have it. Kanyon put simply you are not a fighting champ, you are a fighting chump. I am a fighting champ. I am one of the few who can say they've ever been a triple champ in a single fed. And I defended at least two belts a night for a month. That is a fighting champ. I've been through some hellacious matches and on the same night fought in some bizarre match like an Xtreme Stages of Hell match. Then there's the one I invented, the Death Trap Casket match. An exploding casket, of course I was screwed and lost and found out that wasn't one of my better ideas . . . but you know I've seen some wierd matches. And you've never fought in a doomsday cage or an xtreme stages of hell. Hell I've fought in an electrified flaming cage before. So don't think you are a fighting champ. You just defend when it's convenient. And fighting through hell to win it doesn't make you a fighting champ either. I will be a FIGHTING champ. I will keep that belt for the longest reign you have ever seen if and when I win! Normally I'd be worried about interference but you don't have any friends and everyone hates you . . . they all know I would be a better champ. Besides all my Trapheads want me to beat you and bring glory to the one they idolize!
*Cheers erupt and a chant of "D-T, D-T" starts up.*
DT: You see Kanyon, I know I can beat you because you have a very bad temper. I mean all I did was walk by you and ignore your dumbass remarks and you flipped like a schizo. If that gets under your skin then I'd hate to see what my in ring skills will do. You see I'm crazy, never the same way twice. That is what makes me good, I'm the only person here who can say they are 100% fully and uncontainably unpredictable. You never know which style I'll go with, I have 4, or which combo of them and you don't know when I'll use them. My moves are so unorthodox and my improvisational skills are so great that you can't know what I'm gonna do next! And you, you get mad over me ignoring you! That is a sure fire way to flip out, make a mistake and play right into my hands. You went into a full breakdown and you will repeat it in the ring. You cannot deny it, it is inevitable, someone of your mental and physical capabilities was bound to break down sooner or later. Yours is happening right now at the hands of the Master of Puppets' superior intellect. You are insane, bad-tempered, and predictable. Predictability and repitition are deadly allies that always travel together and you seem to be cellmates with them. That and the worst team of all, arrogance and fear. You are cocky and think you're better than everyone and you're afraid to learn that you aren't. Well it's time to go to school Kanyon. Time to be taught a lesson in humility. Time to meet your breaker. You are stepping into a match with a human killing machine, a destroyer of careers, a master of puppets and the human death trap. I am the man of a thousand moves! I am the one who will push you one step closer to the edge and break you. And I am the onbe that after you thik you have me beat will pop up unharmed and say, Shoot me again I ain't dead yet. I am your undoing. Prepare for the deadliest trap of them all.
*cheers*
DT: I will destroy you and then again and take that Phoenix Title from you. It will, like its namesake, raise from the ashes of itself after you disgraced it and return to glory in my hands. Final Judgment will be passed and there isn't a damn thing you or anybody else can do about it. There isn't a damn thing you can do to stop me! Tomorrow . . . the REAL fireworks will take place in that ring . . .
*Death Trap grabs his stuff and dresses up again. He raises his arms in a cross as Shoot Me Again hits. The tron flashes a pistol firing at different angles. Pyros go off. He walks to the crowd and high fives some fans. He gives the Grand Slam sign setting more pyros off. He leaps into the crowd. At the exit at the top row he raises his arms into a cross as he exits.*
