A Game of Tag ... FUTURE TAG! [Supremacy Tag Titles Match]

*The scene opens as many do these days in a locker room. In this locker room is all the trappings of a ... locker room ... with some added flair to make it look all ... sci-fi techno themed. Cyberpunk that's the word! But not really these are Halloween caliber not cosplay caliber. On the wall is a GIANT picture of Lazor-Tron and it's obvious we are in the sacred dojo ... er ... locker room ... of the time-displaced heroes in costumes who watch way to much super sentai ... TEAM TRON! However the room is empty save for a man in a recliner passed out with the TV on and the remote on his stomach. The camera is located behind the man in the chair so all wee see is his stomach and feet due to his slouching, everything else is hidden by the chair itself.*
~*Static*~
*Suddenly the TV screen roars to life as the XHF Network kicks back on and an announcement is proclaimed to the snoring man in the lazy boy.*
~*"That's right, in this XHF Network exclusive I, Nelly Angel, take a look at the upcoming Supremacy card, the next big XHF Network global event and boy is it a HUGE show. The big news coming from the Network executives themselves however is the first defense of the newly reactivated global tag division titles! It is sure to be an amazing showing in a new and unique match spearheaded by the current tag champs. The formerly Young Guns ... now the G.U.N.S. team of James Mueller and Venom is driving ticket sales anew with their one team crusade to um .. well stick it to Mongo ... by um ... making him a bunch of money ... how is this supposed to work again?"*~
*the man in the chair snorts and his head flops down showing us just a bit of short brown hair.*
~*"But we are in for a real treat as in the initial gauntlet of the match we will see four tag teams including ... um ... a Japanese name I am not even going to try and pronounce who are the group put together by former AWF Prestige Class Champion Kira Izumi, The FWA's own Darkness, the current European champion and his teammate, and a global wild card team, the heroes from the FUTURE! Team Tron! ... Wait Team Tron? Um... remind me after this recording I need to ... run an errand ok Randy?"*~
*The man in the chair bolts upright sending the remote flying at the TV causing it to go static. The man is cast into shadow as he stands.*
??: What!? Oh um ...
*He bends out of sight and we see him stand back up and place a helmet on his head and a gauntlet on his wrist. He steps into view and it is SHOGUN-TRON! Leader of the Trons!*
: What an unexpected turn of events this is! It seems my signing up of the team in order to get us a paycheck so we can afford all this time travel back to ...THE FUTURE! ... for more hyperbeer while we train up this time period's defenses has caused an unforseen but amazing side effect! A title shot! Oh my God or God-like deity, or pure luck for atheists I must convene the team!
*An old school Adam West Batman scene transition complete with that sound effect but with Shogun's face plays*
*We open back up in the courtyard of the XHF Headquarters where we see Shogun standing at that same podium from previous exploits. In the crowd are some tron recruits and some XHF lackeys cleaning up and doing typical lackey work. In the front are Saber, Techno, Xtreme, Nano, and Mini all together for the first time since Lazor's passing. Saber and Nano have been gone for a while! ... Oh the Steele Wars ... yeah that was in VR ... part three should show up on the Network at SOME point ... and reveal that um ... moving on! Shogun poses at the podium and speaks.*
: My friends and allies a great opportunity has come up. A King of Winter match for the newly reactivated Tag Team Titles! A chance to get some recognition and attention for the tron legacy. To attract some new blood and inspire our new recruits to greatness! This opportunity is not to be taken lightly! A new match which could mean fighting up to 4 matches in a row depending on luck ... for atheists ... of the draw! I'm not going to lie, this will be tough. I have only had one match since the End of Days tournament and it was hardly a warm up for this. We will need to be better, faster, stronger. Two of the other teams are current tag champs including our old XHF brethren Venom and Mueller. Another team features a former singles champion and the other is ... as far as I can tell ... a pair of crazy drug addled old men.

: Yes yes all fine points. I think. But we must truly put in our best efforts. This is not a time to go in and put on some quick match to entertain the fans and thwart the Borgs. This must be treated delicately and taken seriously.
: You know I am not ... um ... able to compete in this match. I am not in shape! Being lost in the time stream for so long has assured I would be a most unwise choice.
*He looks around warily*
: Very well then. I respect that. Gentlemen it is a challenge like no other. There must be a reason we were chosen for this, it can't just be random. I ask you ... which among you will be by my side to win these prestigious titles and to represent the XHF and THE FUTURE! in this new tahg division?
