*The camera activates and walks down the hall. Funaki is with the cameraman as they approach the room of Death Trap. Funaki warns them that DT may be a little off temper in his losing streak. They enter to see DT behind a 5 sided cardboard screen. On closer inspection he is playing Dungeons and Dragons. On the board is a Dragon, a small archer guy with no stats, and the dungeon master piece.*
: Who is the dungeon master?
: Not dungeon . . . this is called D&D Puppet Edition. That's the Puppet Master. AKA ME! This little useless guy is Zero, hence the zero stats. And the dragon is of course Shadow Dragon.
: Um . . . the Pupper Master seems to be winning.
: Hell yes he is! He is destroying them. He is leading them into traps and weakening them at every turn and in battle he has a huge advantage.
: What you trying ta do wit da game den?
: Well put simply I'm simulating how it will be Monday. Well . . . in a way. It's really just for fun, what my days are lacking lately. But it works both ways my good man. You see wreslting is just like this simple . . . um . . . well complex board game RPG. Listen. In both games you need a strategy, without it you are sunk. You have to know how to deal with these guys and have every move planned in your head ten moves in advance. But then again you also need it to be variable. After all you need to be able to factor in things as they happen so you can alter your strategy. *He moves the archer to the left instead of the way the trap is* Something like this can happen. That's why you always have a way to deal. *He has the puppet master call forth a warrior to face the archer and repel him* Like so.
: I see.
: But wait. Like this game it always has to end with a direct confrontation. Right now the dragon is against me and the space he's on gives him a huge advanatge, an 8/10 chance of beating the puppet master. Like the game . . . some things depend on luck. All the roll of the dice. *He rolls the highest possible and the dragon is sent back.* See? Luck only factors in partially but it looms there waiting.
: Like in your last matches?
: You catch on fast. But luck runs out and my bad luck is bound to end sooner or later. And I intend to make it sooner. You see this is a triple threat. *The dragon reaches the Master again but the archer piece does as well and they both attack, the master fights back but the they all tie. Now the dragon and archer roll for a victory. The archer gets destroyed and the dragon weakened. Next roll the dragon is beat by the master* You need to know how to use a situation to your advantage. They have to beat each other down to see who can get the win but after one wins I am back to full and beat them down.
: You smart.
: So I'm told. But I know the first thing they will tell me in their promos. One, the game was rigged. And two, it's just a game. Well, one yes it was rigged but only so I can make an example and a point. Two, life itself is a game. A human chess match if you will. Every move affects the next. Every action has its consequences. Every hit takes its toll. I simply mean to use this as a way to warn you both. Don't lose focus. If you give an opportunity I swear I will take it and use it to destroy you.
: Any words for opponents themselves?
: Yes. I do. Remember, there is more to a trap than meets the eye. Each thing I do will have a deeper meaning. I will be thinking ahead. Sometimes traps are deeper and more dangerous than you can tell, or what if every path is trapped? You can never know. This is my chance to rebound, my time to take control. You are both puppets in a game of human dungeons and dragons. You are pawns. I am the master. I control the fates of you both. You are in MY maze of doom. And it will be your death trap. I am the one who chooses the ending, I control the final judgments. Dragon, you are good. You are dangerous and can use those flying skills and that mist very well. but I will be ready, one step ahead. I won;t let you get me by surprise. You may want this match and want revenge as much as me but this victory will be mine. If it comes down to it I won't think twice about taking you down to win.
*He tosses the board away and gets right to the camera*
: As for Zero. Zero you have no idea what I have in store for you. You have no way to know or prepare. You won't know what hit you. I'm coming after you first and I will destroy you. I don't like being dragged into things especially when it's as a negative object. But I will avenge myself here. I will make sure you regret every word you said. You may have started it but I will finish it. The ball is in my court and I get to choose what happens here Zero. You call yourself Zero? Quite the coincidence that you are a zero. And you will have a zero percent shot at winning, a zero percent shot at backing up your talk, zero percent shot at taking me down. All that will be left of your career, your hopes, dreams? ZERO! What will be left of your life? ZERO! And it won't be zero degrees in a powerbomb being laid down, it'll be your corpse with a body temp of zero degrees, a heart rate of zero. And what mercy will I show you?
: Zero?
: Damn straight. No mercy. How many will meet final judgment come Monday? I count . . . two. A dragon and a nothing. Like I said, it's all in the mind, it's all a big strategy game where every move determines your fate. I am making the right moves, will you? Or will you walk right into your own death trap?
*camera cuts out*
