On January 28th, Tragic Gaijin Kingdom will be represented at Supremacy, an XHF Network Global Event, by its two biggest stars.
The TGK Grand Championship will be on the line, as Mad Dog Smith, the young, controversial champion ...
... defends against his greatest rival, the equally controversial Frank Fletcher.
Mad Dog has defeated Frank a number of times before. But only his first victory was ever deemed “Clean” by the pro wrestling community. Many say Dog has been running away from Frank ever since, desperately trying to hold on to the Grand Championship against a superior opponent, and only managing to do so via underhanded tactics.
But this match will be different. Mad Dog isn’t shirking gym time. Or mat time. For the first time since joining Tragic Gaijin Kingdom, he’s hired a trainer. He’s taking instruction. He’s studying tape and learning about his opponent.
One of the biggest differences this time around appears to be Mad Dog’s outlook and feelings for his opponent, Frank Fletcher. Normally Dog would almost manically attack the character and wrestling prowess of his opponents.
But in the lead up to this match, Dog has been only complementary toward his opponent.
Many speculate that Dog’s new attitude has largely to do with the mysterious disappearance of his long time on and off girlfriend, Catherine Black, a one time XHF interviewer turned wrestling valet and instagram model.
Catherine has been missing for two weeks now and many speculate the worst.
As many now know, former wrestling great Reo Nakajima has somehow achieved near God-Like Powers in recent weeks. And he is the number one suspect in Catherine’s disappearance.
Surprisingly, despite the greater preparation and planning going into Sunday’s match, Mad Dog doesn’t actually place a great deal of importance on the encounter.
The match that Mad Dog is truly concerned with happens eight days after Supremacy.
While the rest of the XHF dreams of Supremacy Glory, or the X*Crown Championship ...
Mad Dog Smith, and possibly everyone involved with the Tragic Battle ... only worry about defeating Reo Nakajima.
Supremacy is on January 28th, 2018.
The Battle For Everything is on February 5th.
Both events will air live, on the XHF Network.

CUT TO Mad Dog walking down the aisle in a pink ring robe, blonde hair blowing in the artificially created breeze, his face alight in pyro and ballyhoo.
... defends against his greatest rival, the equally controversial Frank Fletcher.
CUT TO Frank Fletcher, a Japanese man in a cowboy hat, ducking underneath his Ford F-150 and slapping it’s truck nuts before giving the camera thumbs up.
Mad Dog is seen rolling around a wrestling mat with trainer Mike Quackenbush. Both men wear black MMA trunks. The grappling is intercut with scenes of Dog listening closely to what Quackenbush says as they talk by a set of lockers.

We CUT TO Mad Dog holding Quack in a Fujiwama armbar. Quack cries out and taps. Dog releases him and collapses on the mat. The two men breathe hard and look at each other.
“There,” Quack says. “You figured it out. You understand now?”
Dog nods. “I think I got it. Thanks.”

Mike Quackenbush is shot in a black confessional room.
“Yeah, I trained Mad Dog about two years ago. He was one of my best students. He graduated from my school. And ... then he left. He was just gone. I followed his progress. Every now and then he’d call me and ask me something. But he’s never wanted to work with me again. This is a first. Coming to his home. His private gym. Training with him. He’s taking it very seriously.”

We CUT TO Mad Dog in the same confessional room. “Quack is one of the best ever. I finally just realized ... I don’t think I’m half as good as I think I am. I’m having trouble with Frank. It’s time to learn new things.”
CUT BACK TO Quackenbush. “Dog always talks about his entrance. His outfit. His hair. Much more than wrestling. When he called me for this, the first thing I asked him was, “Well what are you gonna wear?” You know? As a joke. But he just wanted to talk about wrestling. This match is different. It’s very different. I ... think this is gonna be a very serious match.”

CUT TO Mad Dog in the confessional room. He has distant, far away look in his eyes. “Frank’s good. He’s one of the best. That’s why I’ve had such a problem with him. When you wrestle him it’s high tier shit. You realize you’re wrestling a top flight guy. You gotta do all the hard stuff. It’s a chess match. It’s stressful. It’s not fun. The Japanese thing doesn’t help. It’s a totally different style then mine. So on top of all the advanced grappling and striking ... there’s a lot of mystique there. He pulls out a lot of shit I would never think to do. He’s dangerous at times when I never think he’s dangerous. It’s like wrestling an orange when all you’ve ever wrestled is an apple. Every God Damn time.”

Dog wipes a tear form his eye and runs a hand through his hair. “Cat was my friend. My only one ever. Uh ... I mean, we were together but it was a disaster. Really, the best times we had was when we were just there for each other. Fuck, I did her make up. Taught her about that. She showed me what was good on Netflix. We just talked a lot. We liked to shop. I treated her like shit. And now she’s gone. She’s gone and I was just ... horrible to her the last time I saw her.”
Surprisingly, despite the greater preparation and planning going into Sunday’s match, Mad Dog doesn’t actually place a great deal of importance on the encounter.
We cut to Mad Dog knocking on the front door of “Casa de Kanyon 2.0.”
Then we CUT TO the interior where Dog sits in the living room, surrounded by men who he once would have considered his enemies.
Curtis Kanyon is there, a man Dog once wrestled to a one hour draw. Damien Young is there. Even his upcoming opponent, Frank Fletcher is there.
“It’s hard to explain the feeling we all have,” says Mad Dog, via voice over. “It’s like, the forces of good are helping us out. Giving us these visions and feelings. Me and Frank know we have to have this match against each other. It’s the Universe’s way of preparing us. Because the match that really matters is against Reo. At the Battle For Everything.”

Mad Dog, now tired and sweaty, continues training with Mike Quackenbush. The veteran grappler has Mad Dog in a terribly painful position, twisting the Grand Champ’s arm behind his back. Dog screams but doesn’t tap. He’s trying to free himself but can’t.
Perhaps this is a metaphor.
Eventually Quack releases the hold to impart further instruction upon his student.

We CUT TO Dog listening to the rest of Team Grandpa talk.

Mad Dog looks into the confession room camera. “Reo has to be beat. Can you imagine a guy like that? Walking around? All-Powerful? Doing whatever he wants? And we all know what he wants to do. That guy has to be stopped. We can’t have that guy among us.”
Dog hangs his head and takes a deep breathe.
“The Grand Championship means nothing. I don’t care about keeping it. I don’t care if Frank wins it. I ... just want ... to do well enough against Frank ... that when the time comes ... I can open IT and beat Reo ...”
