I know a guy with a rock star life, but he still don't fly so he's mad at the sky
Sits me down and kicks his wisdom he's been around I give him a listen
Seems like he got a lot of complaints about how nowadays things ain't the same na
Used to place some faith in the basement a toast for this guy and those kids that he came with
Cause they all on the same shit based on, cut down placement, up town, stay strong
Don't ever do a dance with the devil now, that smile is a sign that you're sellin' out
Judgement, gossip, ethics, let's just exploit all this excess

Let's clear the air real fast before anyone gets this twisted. There is no love between me and Rob Diamond. No love, no hate, no nothing. We've known each other for some time but our paths have rarely ever crossed. I respect the man for his talents and what he has done in this business, and in that ring. But as a person? We've broken bread a few times, we've talked, he has very very different views on things that I do, but when it comes down to it, at least as I see it, there is a mutual respect there, but no love.
So when I threw my name in the hat to fight for...no not for, Rob doesn’t need people fighting his fights FOR him, when I put my name to fight in PLACE of Rob against Steve Awesome, it wasn’t for Rob, it was for me. It was to get Steve in that ring. To settle some...unfinished business.
A home video starts to play, it looks like a child’s birthday party. We see a bunch of familiar faces walking around drinking talking having a great time. We can see JFK manning the grill with his good friends Doc and Venom shooting the shit with him as he grills. The doorbell rings and we see a little girl go flying by the 3 men yelling on the top of her lungs "UNCLE STEVE!" the camera follows the toddler and she runs to the door, only to be a little disappointed to see not her Uncle Steve walk in but her Uncle Charlie, everyone else seems happy to see the man as JFK Venom and Doc all make their way over to great the founding member of the Young Guns (The real Guns not that fake faction that Roberto was in), they all give each other bro hugs and Charlie hands JFK a huge box for the birthday girl. She looks up at her dad and asks. "Where's Uncle Steve daddy?" "I don't know sweetheart. Steve is a very busy man I'm sure he'll be here at some point." She walks off with a frown that's quickly turned around as the cake is brought out and people start singing "Happy birthday to you" the scene fades out.
You can feel how we feels to walk around town lookin down from them tall heels
And who needs fame or fortune when you get the same love that the fame is snortin
Future so afraid of yours that you strayed from the course and you came up short
Believe he would have more credibility if he wasn't just another drunk pill junky
It's obvious to me that he's still hungry for the superstars a little bad lucky
Go ahead and get mad at God point your fingers at your dad and at Santa Claus
Listen all y’all it's a sabotage wouldn't look so bad with the bandage off
And who needs fame or fortune when you get the same love that the fame is snortin

"It's just the two of us, a silver cross, and some strength that you won't believe. See I'm not your friend, and I won't pretend, that I've come here for peace. Well I'm not afraid, I'm gonna make you pay, I'm gonna wipe that smile off your face."
JFK holds up a small silver cross with the necklace firmly in the grip of his hand, it swings back and forth as he speaks.
"Remember this cross Steve? It's the one you gave Anna when you became her God Father. She gave it to me before she went to bed the night of her birthday party. You know, the one you missed? The one you promised her you wouldn’t miss? She kept asking me where you where, and then it turned into WHY didn’t you show. How do you tell a broken hearted toddler that her favorite uncle, her God Father, is too selfish of an asshole to show up on her big day? That he is too hooked on his vices to pull himself out of his bottle or whatever it is you are doing these days to make even just two minutes to show up and say hi? What do you tell a child Steve? I can't tell her the truth. Not yet, she wouldn’t understand. But she'll learn. And eventually she'll understand, and that is a fallout that YOU'LL have to deal with at some point. But right now? Now you have to face the fallout, from ME."
JFK lowers his hand and shoves the cross into his pocket.
"We go back a long long long ways you and I Steve. Hell we go back all the way to the beginning. When we were first cutting our teeth in this business. Out of all the people in this company today, you and I have one of the longest history’s. Hell, I even remember your first match with our mentor in the XHF. I remember it clearly because I was sitting ringside at that match. Had no clue who you were as you were fresh to the company, and still very wet behind the ears. Price ran you out that night, Ran you right out of the company never to be heard from again for quite some time."
JFK chuckles.
"Here's a shoot for all you Steve Supporters, a little bit of Awesome trivia if you will. Steve didn't run far after that night, actually he ran right to the man who humiliated him in that ring. He ran right to Price and had him train him, helped him develop his character, what you see now out of Steve Awesome is a direct result of that training. He showed you how to take your own personality and turn it to 100, and that is the Steve Awesome we have now, unfortunately your true personality is that of an asshole. A selfish, addictive, asshole. Turned to 100, that still makes you, an asshole."
"But that's where we meant. Right there in Price's dojo, and that is where we became family. We trained together, we travelled together, we chased mat rats together...by the way speaking of mat rats, Addisyn you can try to bed Steve all you want, but I'll tell you right now, you're going to be disappointed. When we were in our hay day, they ALWAYS came looking for JFK after they were done with Steve because well, he couldn’t finish the job. Some said whisky dick while others...well others..."
He holds up his pinky finger and mouths the words "So I've been told"
"But I digress, do what you want kiddo just don't come crying to me when he disappoints. I'm a happily married man, and to be quite honest, you're not my type."
Another home video starts to play, this time it's a bunch of people at the beach hanging out having fun, we can see a who's who of former XHF and nCw stars all having a good time, JFK, Kole Kaos, Shiyen, Doc, Charlie Velez, Venom, Snake, Curtis Kanyon, AJ Phoenix, and even Steve Awesome. We can see Steve talking to a younger looking Spanish lady, some will recognize her as Layla, Steve's former well...she's had a few titles but she's now known as his baby momma. The scene fades out.
"The time has come, to drop the bomb, on all the pain you've been selling. See I don't like you, or your attitude, or the company that you keep. I don't know what happened to you Steve. I really don't because well...you never reached out to me when you were in need to tell me what was going on. You could have reached out to the La Familia any time Steve, any of us, ANY of us would have helped you with anything you needed. Money? Not an issue. A place to stay? You always had a room at my place. Hell even Kole who has nothing NOTHING would have gave you the shirt off his back if you asked Steve. Hell you could have even reached out to Layla Steve, she still and always will carry a torch for you, but when’s the last time you actually talked to her Steve? When’s the last time you talked to them?
But you didn't. You didn’t reach out to anyone. And now look at where you are. A patsy, a puppet for some overbearing asshole coward. And for what Steve? Some coin? You've turned your back on your best friend, you've ignored your family, and broke my little girls’ heart."
JFK sneers at the camera.
"And for what? NOT A DAMN THING. Steve, I really hope you are not going into this match expecting a wrestling match, because that's not what’s going to happen. I know for a fact, I know firsthand when it comes to doing things in that ring, you can do things I could only imagine. But that's not going to be the case this week Steve. This is Fight Night, and this week at the Peoria Center, in Peoria, Illinois that is exactly what you are going to get. A FIGHT. I don't care about win's or losses at this point Steve, I don't care if you pin me, hell you can even try to do something no one has ever done and try to submit me but Steve, know this, and know this well. You broke my little girls’ heart, so this week...you don't get in the ring with the Devil you know, you get into that ring with the Devil you don't.
And he plans on hurting you Steve. There is no escaping the pain I am going to inflict on you Steve, you think what I did to my own flesh and blood, what I did to my own brother was brutal? Just wait, just wait to see what I do to you. I know I say this every week, but it has never rang more true than this week. It truly will Steve, it truly will....
Suck to be you."
JFK turns and walks away from the camera, reaching into his pocket once more he pulls out the silver cross he had out before, and drops it into a trash can before walking away.
I think it's great how you used to be great
I can't hate how you choose to relate
Lord I know you had the potential
I understand why you wanted to let go
A lot of pressure in the middle of those shoulders
And we ain't gettin nothing but older
Ain't nothing change but the thangs we run from
But nobody knows that better than you HUHHHH!
