*Fade in to a live shot of the local XHF house show arena...*
*Suddenly, the arena is plunged into total darkness and the crowd looks on intently with anticipation. At this point, an ominous "Red Fist" symbol appears across the Xtreme-Tron and temporarily accompanied by it is the soft, soothing sound of guitar riffs beginning to kick in throughout the building's sound system. Mere seconds later, the XT screen abruptly shifts to pure static and the tension builds as after a flurry of drums kick in as well, the following words begin to echo throughout the building...
"What if I wanted to break,
Laugh it all off in your face,
What would you do?,
What if I fell to the floor,
Couldn't take all this anymore,
What would you do, do, do?..."
*At these very words, BOOM! An overwhelming explosion rocks the arena to it's core and in turn, the entire crowd is on it's feet with fists raised and deafening screams of approval as the hellraising chorus of "The Kill" by 30 Seconds To Mars cuts onto the PA in full force! At this, the curtain flips back and without any further adieu, the sadistically smirking figures of XHF Legend Rage himself, and wife Torrie Wilson step out and onto the top of the stage! Thereafter, the two strut fiercely on down the ramp to an overwhelming chorus of cheers from this entire sellout crowd of "Ragiacs" joining us here tonight. Moments later both finally reach the the ring area where upon climbing inside, Torrie makes her way over to proudly taunt off with her physical "assets" of sorts to the crowd in front of the nearest ropes. Meanwhile, the self proclaimed "Bald-Headed Behemoth" sets off to do his signature 4 corners salute taunt from each and every corner of the ring, raising both his fists and a set of familiar middle fingers sadistically to the crowd....
*Once concluding with these routine taunts of his Rage ventures over to the back corner of the ring, and at receiving a mic of his own from the ring announcer below he goes to stand squarely in the middle of the ring, perfectly over the XHF logo imprinted there on the mat. The self-proclaimed "Revolutionary Redneck" continues awaiting all the crowd noise over his appearance to subside, and as it does, he steps forward somewhat further toward the nearest set of ropes.*
*A brief instant later, Rage fully raises the mic & clears his throat as he prepares to now address the entire XHF world in a monumental manner....*
: *AHEM*, well, as the old saying goes the more things change, the more they alllllways seem to stay the same apparently...
*Big crowd pop at Rage's initial words out here*
: Yes yes that's right folks, surprisingly even as the XHF as a whole continues to change, evolve and literally prosper into numerous generations of superstars all around them there remain two singular individuals...two infamous egomaniacs of men will never, evvvvver be able to truly let go of a certain past they possess together, to move on from a past that haunts each of them to this day and that follows them wherever they may go in life, whether it be in the form of physical bruises or the mental scars carried in the back of their minds. See way back when in early 2002 these two men I speak of, well they at the peak of one of the more historic XHF feuds of all time crossed paths and in the worst way imaginable for a final time in that very feud. They'd over the course of several previous battles become more bitter and more downright hate-filled than almost anyone before at one another and they decided to settle their differences one last time, in one last one on one showdown at the biggest spectacle of them all in Xtreme Hardcore Federation terms, a spectacle known only as XHF Night...Of...Champions.
*Another thunderous pop ensues over this memory of sorts being recalled by none other than the great Rage*
: Indeed, and of course on THIS particular night not just a mere battle but an all-out war ensued just as expected to settle this "score" of sorts between the two men involved. In other words a "score" basically over the fact that one man, a now returning man known only as Millennium represented an outdated, over the hill regime of the BDDWF which was solidly on it's way out the door so to speak around here, and the other....well the other known as yours truly, The One, The Only, The Rage, he proudly represented a much, MUCH brighter future for this company in the form of what's still fully alive and kicking to this day, the X-H-F!
*A flurry of supportive "XHF" chants start up in remembrance to this iconic feud once waged between the aforementioned two establishments*
: Heh ya know matter of fact, though for the longest time he's been the equivalent of the devil himself to me it was none other than XHF founder Mongo the Destroyer himself, yes, that very Mr. Destroyer who 4 long years ago from this month's Xtraction I once loyally served as the head henchman to in the original incarnation of what's come to be known as, "Mongo Corp.". And while I served as henchman to Mongo it was that low-down, good for nothing little scumbag Millennium who served as the lead follower to Mongo's own arch rival of sorts, this of course being that pompous little bastard known forever as as Brain, Doggy Dog! And my my my what a sneaky little tandem those two were together in the ole' days, but hey that's another story for another time so I'll just get back to the real points at hand here for now at least. The points being that as stated I and Millennium each represented one half of what this company was all about 4 years ago at this time, and after somehow managing to evade the efforts of myself and Mongo for months on end to strip him of what was then the oh so precious Ultimate Championship of all championships, well by god Millennium could no longer manage to run OR hide come the inaugural Night Of Champions main event. Believe me, don't just take my word for it but believe me when I tell you all that more often than not Millennium, despite what he may seem today to be, WAS nothing short of underhanded, thuggish, calculated and when necessary cowardly at all costs way back when to get exactly what HE wanted of this company and nothing more or less. SO, with at Night of Champions I no more Brain Doggy Dog or the then extinct BDDWF to back him up it was time for young Millennium to cease using various people and things as a shield against most of all me and to "face the music" shall we say against me in this very squared circle.
*An instant later, what was for previous words a smug grimace of concern on Rage's face changes, doing so to reveal what he's known best of all for in the eyes of all longtime XHF fans, a sadistic, downright gloating grin of sorts*
: Ah, and of course face the music this glory hog of a man finally did as in an unforgettable 3 Stages of Hell match we DID for damn sure take each other straight to the pits of hell itself with the XHF Ultimate Championship on the line as the intended prize, then after the first time of going there we came all the way back and proceeded to take the same journey all over again twice more before determining a permanent victor in this war of ours. After battling in everything from First Blood to Submission to a Triple Tier Greenhouse just one of us walked out in one piece so to speak, or actually no one "walked" out as both of us had to be stretchered out of the building but it was me, it was the man you're looking at right here and right now that came out of that match as the one on top and with an Ultimate Championship around his waist that'd go on to be made famous in that spot. And that, that my friends leads me to the whole point of why I'm out here and having reappeared tonight after seeming to have left the XHF forever as of last September's loss at the annual Breaking Point pay-per-view event, a very disappointing loss to a lowly Red Fusion for #1 contendership to the U.S. Title, the same exact U.S. Title I put on the map in the first place as it's original holder in 2001, a belt that much like the Ultimate Championship I took to the next level by defending against many a man all those years ago. Quite frankly folks I'm out of my self-imposed exile because I knew this long overdue day had come as soon it happened this past Saturday January 14th of 2006, the day that once again Millennium would choose to set foot in the XHF and to think he could cause more chaos in this place without me being around to finish what I started 4 years ago in those 3 Stages of Hell, see that XHF fans or should I say my faithful "Ragiacs", that I just cannot in good conscience allow to have happen damnit...
*-Rage is cut short here by a flurry of uprising "Rage" chants throughout the arena, chants brought on by his longtime reference to his dearest fans as his own "Ragiac" followers. While the chants briefly continue on in the background the "Bald-Headed Behemoth" himself simply gives a nod of approval accompanied by another wide smirk over his fans' obvious support even to this day still...*
: I mean after I left back in September I DID, I told myself over and over and over and over that never again would I show myself in the XHF with a straight face after losing to Red Fusion of all people, no offense to Red of course but far as I'm concerned it doesn't get any worse than that for a guy like me all things considered. Just never ever again after the sheer distance of how far from the 2002 through 2003 grace of myself I'd truly fallen, and anyone who's known me that long knows just how fucking good I was at this business in the beginning. But at the time inside and out I just knew and I finally forced myself to believe it was time to give up what I'd spent all those years searching for in the XHF and that's a career that eventually lands me amongst the greatest EVER in the coveted Hall of Fame itself. Still the fact remained that in order to be a person of that essence you had to not just be elite for one era like I virtually was but you had to be in the mold of those like Mongo the Destroyer, Destruction, Reeshi, Scorpion, the ones who were elite for MANY eras that they managed to survive throughout. And that in itself, that's always been the difference between me and them was that while I had the basic name recognition I didn't have the "staying power" of sorts needed, sure I technically stayed around but all I did after a while was JUST continue staying and getting by on whatever success I could, that people is NOT what the legend of Rage should be about once the final chapter of my life in the XHF has been written! No, no my final story of the career that was should be about the good times not the numerous bad ones I've suffered as of most recently, and with that in mind I've been racking my brain all day every day since Saturday when I turned on my television set back at home. I turned on the television expecting the usual XHF programming and such, yet to my utter dismay I saw Millennium himself standing once again in an XHF ring attempting to make his first return in, well, forever it seemed like....
*Pause*
: Hell, and not just did I see Millennium standing in this ring but I saw him doing something I NEVER again expected to see him doing after Night Of Champions I, that's tossing around names like Rage, Destruction, Hardcore Harry, "Primetime" Chris Sanders etc., having the utter GAL to say he "defeated" them in the past as if they're almost nameless victims in a line of many. No no no, oh hell no that's nothing but bullshit and YOU out there know it Millennium if you can hear me right about now, you know that in truth the ONLY reason you turned your back on the XHF for "Hollywood" as you say is since you flat out couldn't cut it in the XHF anymore the last time you were around, you remember deep down that all those men you reference are twice the man you'll ever even dream of being in the Xtreme Hardcore Federation, most of all you know in that cold relentless heart of yours that the last time you and I hooked up in the ring it was ME who came out of that the better man in every way, it was ME who brought you to your knees in agony that night in 3 Stages of Hell and it was me, yes it was me who effectively at the time laid you to rest in your coffin as the lifeless, over-the-hill competitor you were....
*Pause*
: Millennium you my compadre, just like always, remain an overrated hack of all hacks and just the fact alone that you've managed to again climb your way out of the crypt I put you in 4 years ago at NOC, that sole fact alone is enough to have inspired me to pick myself back up from the absolute grief I've been in since September and to bring myself to this building, to this arena and into this ring tonight to TRULY take care this time of something I should've put the finishing touches on long ago, and that's 100% YOU asswhipe! Alas, with god as my witness even if nothing else could ever inspire me to be the XHF hellraiser I once was you of all people can, just the mere sight of your smug, cocky little face these past few days is enough to drive me ballistic with intensity and anger of what I must once again do here in the XHF if I ever want to finish my professional wrestling career the right way, the right way being to send your punk ass packing forever and to put a rock solid nail in that coffin you'll be back down in once I'm through with you. And hey after watching Pyro Monday night it's just icing on the cake that apparently your in-ring skills haven't diminished since the last time we met, though we both know that worthless pipsqueak Lestat isn't the most accurate test you could've had for me in your first match back. But, regardless you still have at least some degree of your original greatness and that's enough to provoke me into doing what I do next and that without further adieu is laying out what I'm all about being out here for tonight...a Challenge, a return match Challenge for XHF's own...Xtraction PPV event in 11 short days!
*The crowd absolutely erupts over Rage's "challenge" bit there*
: Now I know this is fairly short notice of course but straight up if you're every bit as great as you keep right on saying you are then we both know you'll be ready, willing, and every bit able to bring your ass on out here shortly and give this challenge the response I for one think it deserves, an acceptance which will in turn seal both our near future fates for certain! Plus don't worry about this being another 3 Stages of Hell match or any similar gimmick to that either, nope this match isn't about any gimmicks or titles but however strictly one on one personal business to settle this between you and I forevermore. All I want Milly my boy is one more shot, one more opportunity against you to show I'm still the better man between us all around, that I DO still have what it takes to go head to head with other top-level names of this business even in the year 2006 and beyond, that perhaps I'm not as past my prime as many like to believe I am in recent memory. SO, Millennium if you will then at this time I'd like you to get your ass up from whatever you may be doing back there in the backstage area, and if you would kindly walk your little "Hollywood" ass on out to this ring for a response to this initial challenge of mine I'd be more appreciated than you could ever know. In fact, should you show me you still got the gonads to accept a PPV caliber challenge of this nature then maybe, just maybe I may have one other VERY special surprise challenge in store for you at next week's Subversion pre-PPV event as well, I mean what would a rematch of one of the greatest bouts of all time be without one more good warmup test, a tag team test beforehand to work any rust off between us that there may be?
*A seemingly final pause ensues by Rage to let his words sink in completely*
: BUT, regardless if you wanna know what Subversion may have in store you just gotta answer the only questions that really matter at this point in time, the questions of whether you're only good enough anymore to win mere battles against the Lestats of the world or if you you can win the war that counts against ME son! So all in all whaddaya say Millennium, you ready to put up one more time against me at Xtraction, or are you ready to close that big fat piehole of yours and shut up until further notice? It's all up to you now sir so the floor is yours, show me if you will that you still got the ability to live up to the billing that is the name Millennium, show me you and that "Ball Drop" of yours still got what it takes to encounter one last ass-whipping from me along with one more FIST-
*The crowd begins chanting alongside Rage*
: -OF......RAGE!
*At this the smirking Rage lowers his microphone and calmly looks toward the entrance ramp without another word awaiting response from Millennium and Millennium alone, this creating quite the buzz among the live audience in attendance as they all ponder over one question alone, "What will Millennium do in response?"...*
