BIOGRAPHY
Furanku Furetchā is a Japanese man pretending to be an American patriot.
He wasn't always like this, though. Back home in Japan he made a respectable career for himself under his real name of Akihiro Handa, winning several championships. in Tragic Samurai Kingdom.
In late 2016, Handa abruptly left the Japanese wrestling scene and was not heard from for almost a year - until it was announced that a rebranded TSK would be opening as "Tragic Gaijin Kingdom" in the USA under the XHF Network umbrella.
Calling himself "Frank Fletcher" he reappeared in Tragic Gaijin Kingdom as an American patriot, and became the first TGK Grand Champion. The Championship opened a lot of doors for Furanku- including the door to the White House itself as he formed a friendship with President Donald Trump. A brief-but-intense rivalry with Mad Dog Smith ensued and Furanku lost the Grand Championship. Unable to reclaim the belt, he was barred from further challenging Mad Dog by Reo Nakajima, alienating him from his further friend and ally. Even President Trump turned against him, siding with another of Furanku's rivals, the man-child Jeffrey Viper- even going so far a to make Viper the Vice-President, which angered Furanku.
Disheartened, he turned to his greatest nemesis from TSK, God Damn Grandpa, joining his team in the Battle For It. With President Trump no longer behind him and a failed X*Crown Championship challenge under his belt, Furanku responded in the only logical way- he turned ultra-liberal, embracing feminism and environmental issues, standing up for oppressed minorities everywhere.
Having traded in his prized monster truck with two pairs of truck nuts, Furanku began driving a Toyota Prius with a FleshlightTM taped to it. Guided by his new-found liberal leanings, Furanku was directly responsible for the death of nemesis-turned-sort-of-friend Cat Black.
Furanku's "liberal phase" turned out to be just that however - a phase. Almost as quickly as he had embraced left-wing ideologies, he abandoned them again in the run-up to XHF's Supremacy Pay-Per-View, where he finally dethroned Mad Dog Smith to once again recapture the Tragic Grand Championship. The first one-time Champion was now the first two-time champion... as well as the last champion in TGK's short history.
In an attempt to harness the power of Beelzebub himself (I'm not making this up, this actually happened), Reo Nakajima had killed off nearly everybody in TGK - his business partner Mr. Sumo II, Cat Black, Vespa Rider, Donald Trump, Jerry Springer, Japanese Santa Claus (seriously, this is all TGK canon) and countless others - and he threw down the gauntlet to the TGK roster. He would put everything on the line, in a "Battle For Everything" - a match that flirted dangerously with being a Royal Rumble - and either grow powerful enough to destroy the World, or die trying.
Furanku won the match through traditional means although he didn't manage to open "IT" - the source of Reo's power - with that accolade being achieved by Gold-Borg. Furanku instead focused his efforts on trying to murder Curtis Kanyon and throwing as many of his team-mates out of the ring as he could.
With TGK now in ruins, the future looked uncertain for Furanku... until Bethesda-based Ascension Wrestling Federation bought out what little remained of the company, and Furanku was drafted onto the Rise Up! roster along with TGK alumni Jeffrey Viper, Damien Young, Mike Morales and Corndog Wallace.
