Venom is sitting in his hotel bathroom cleaning something off of his face when Mueller walks in.
"We should be on our way already V. What are you doing?"
Venom wipes furiously at his face as Mueller sees him in the mirror and begins shaking his head.
"You were doing that again? You tricked me and Goldy into putting that stuff on saying we were trying to figure out our holloween costumes, but you keep putting it on and pretending to be Poi..."
"SHHHHH! I do what I do and you do what you do. Just hold on a minute."
"You've side projects are slowing us down from our goal."
"It won't affect us. We've got this."
"Alright, well hurry up."
"The hospital isn't going to start without us."
"Of course not, this is for us, but like you said we're trying to make a good impression so they don't know what we're up to."
The scene fades out.
Oh Austin Grant. Do you even know what your cousin has dragged you into? Do you even understand the world of pain you are in for? Do you know anything about what is coming for you?
I don't think you do, because if you did you wouldn't be going along with your crazy cousin's plan to try and get the tag team championships. You're barely a wrestler. You're so green you wrestle in the minor leagues of the minor leagues of the Network. You're wrestling in a place that fights for an old XHF Championship that literally no one cared about in the original XHF. There's no way you could know what you're in for.
I'm sure you're tough, though. After all, you've gone through cancer treatment and came out clean on the other side like you were Andy Dufresne escaping from Shawshank. I know that that fight must've taken something out of you. There's no way you can go through what you went through and come back with full power. There's no way you could wake up every morning puking from the chemo treatments, losing a large percentage of your body weight and losing most of your hair and still come back as strong as you did before. That's why you're fighting for the bottom of the bottom right?
You don't have to tell me, though, because I'm going to learn about your weaknesses post recovery first hand.
Venom and James, dressed again like they're going to a job interview for a job they don't really want walk down the hallway with a well dressed high ranking official from a hospital. She walks them down a hall and directs them into a large open room.
"Patients in here are relaxing after chemo. They play board games, watch TV and so on while chemo works through them. They will love to engage with you guys."
"Thank you."
The two Guns walk into the room and split up. Venom sits down across from a cancer patient in a wheel chair sitting at a table with a checkers board sitting in front of her. Her eyes light up as she sees the superstar sitting across from her.
"You're...you're..."
"Venom..."
"Poison!"
"Uh, nah, that's not me, but I appreciate that guy too."
"I'm pretty sure you're..."
"Nah, do you play?"
"Oh yeah, I sure do. You wanna play."
"Yeah, lets play, and tell me about what you're going through. I'd love to hear your story."
The camera cuts and moves over to Mueller who is sitting with an older patient sitting in a chair leaned back, drool rolling out of the side of his mouth, eyes wide open watching telemundo.
"I love telanovela. Do you watch this often?"
The patient is clearly asleep with his eyes open, but Mueller has been sucked into the television.
"I've been following this one for some time now. You see her, she's married to him, but pregnant with his baby. She thought no one would ever find out because he got abducted but aliens, but now he's back just in time for the baby to be born. It's insane."
The patient snores and Mueller takes that as a sign of agreement and continues. Across the room Venom is getting murdered by the young lady he's playing with in checkers. His side of the board is nearly gone, while most of her pieces are kinged. She's talking non-stop and Venom quickly reaches and swipes a few of her pieces off of the board and kings a couple of his in one swift move.
Like I said Austin, you're tough. You'd have to be to go through what you've gone through. What I'm going to do to you though is something different all together. I'm going to beat your body from the outside. I'm going to bring back the bruises the disease caused from the inside back when I nail you with knees to the rips. I'm going to bring back that nausea you felt each morning when I drop you on your head over and over again giving you a concussion. I'm going to bring back what weakness you felt when I beat you within an inch of your life. What I'm going to make you go through is going to make you remember all that treatment all over again.
Are you ready for that Austin? Are you ready to go through that all again?
This is what your cousin has put you into. He's never had to go through what you've gone through. He's never had to wake up each morning like you. He may claim he's lost loved ones including his wife's miscarriage, but he's got nothing on the pain you've gone through. Maybe that's why he's so naive to think you guys can win. He doesn't know the pain that's coming for him.
So tell him Austin. Tell him what he's about to go through. Tell him about how I'm going to kick him so hard that the bruises you had are going to come back. Tell him about how terrible the nausea will be when I give both of you a concussion. Tell him about the terrible pain and weakness you went through that you'll both go through again after I beat you both within an inch of your lives. Tell him Austin how you're going to wish you were dead when I'm done with you.
Tell him Austin, because this is what's going to happen. And when I'm done with you, when we're done with you, you're going to wish the cancer had taken you.
Venom and Mueller are now outside of the hospital. Both unbutton the top buttons of their shirts loosening up after being dressed up for this.
"So I learned that many of these people are on their second or third rounds of chemo. It worked the first time, but the caner came back. They are never the same as they were before the first time. There are for sure some weaknesses in Grant."
"I learned that Maria was never pregnant."
"What?"
"She was never pregnant, she was faking it to keep her husband and her boyfriend in line. Completely blindsided me."
"The plan was to talk to cancer patients to learn about their weaknesses."
"I totally talked to a cancer patient, but all he wanted to talk about was the show."
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah, he just sat there grunting at me every time I talked about anything but the show."
"Who were you talking to?"
"The guy watching TV."
"I'm pretty sure he was asleep. My girl kept talking about him always snoring and thought it was creepy he slept with his eyes open."
"Oh, well at least I got to watch my show."
Venom shakes his head and walks off as the scene fades.
