[The scene opens on a rainy, breezy Friday in St. Paul, Minnesota at the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory. As the camera follows a path through the various exhibits, the rain falls pitter patters around all the animals. On the right of the path, the zebras can be seen prancing around in the wet afternoon grass, some grazing, some getting a drink of water. As the camera continues on the path, giraffes can be seen over the tree tops, foraging. As the shadows of these tall, beautiful animals graceful walk around their display, the camera takes a left and enters a wooded area, known as Wolf Woods. As the camera approaches the wolf pen, a man in a long overcoat and fedora can be seen leaning over the fence, a couple of the Grey wolves starting to gather, teeth out, pacing back and forth. Now, as the camera comes up on the fence, we see that the man is ICW superstar, Jack Diamond. Low, guttural growls are now emitting from the pacing wolves. Jack, with hands still on the fence, turns to the camera. Gone is the usual smiling face, in its place, a gold grey look in his eyes. As the rain rolls down his shoulders, he begins speaking in a calm, calculated tone.]
Jack Diamond: The North American, Gray Wolf…The “Canis Lupus.” Wolves are known as apex predators. They rule their food chain, with only humans and tigers creating a serious threat to them. Humans though, tend to be frightened by the Wolf. Part of this is because they are social animals, always traveling with their pack. In the pack you have the Alpha. Take this one, right here for example.
[Jack points out one of the wolves, standing slightly in front of all the others. Moth opened with teeth bared, body, hair and tail all erect and its cold eyes directly staring wide open at Jack and the camera. A gaze that sends chills down the camera man’s back as he begins to shiver a bit, but not Jack. He leans in closer, almost challenging the wolf.]
Jack Diamond: This one here is definitely the Alpha. He is looking at me as the threat that he knows I am. In reality, despite what mythology would have you believe, they don’t roam in unrelated packs, competing for that “Alpha” spot. No, wolves tend to be monogamous. They mate for life. These wolves behind him, well that is his wife, and those are their offspring. You see, there isn’t actually one alpha in a pack, rather co-alphas between the father and mother wolves. See how she is also ready to pounce on me? They are protecting their young. It’s quite admirable. They will however, tear someone to shreds if they feel they are a threat.
[As he finishes his speech on wolves and alphas, to the surprise of the camera man, just climbs the fence and jumps in. The leaders of the pack are taken aback for a moment but start circling Jack, and looks like they could attack the superstar any moment.]
Jack Diamond: See how they are ready to take me out, before I may cause them or their children harm? It’s quite cute if you ask me. Unlike wolves though, Jack Diamond is a true alpha. I don’t need don’t need to compete for it, everyone already knows.
[The wolves growl as they close in on Jack. Before they get right next to him, he raises his hands in the shape of a diamond, and before they strike the wolves actually stop and look up in awe at him. He stares down at them once again, the same cold, grey stare he game the camera moments earlier. As he lowers his hands, he drops to his knees, holding his arms straight out. Incredulously, the wolves relax, and begin sitting, one by one, right next to Jack Diamond who starts a laugh from deep within himself. He raises his head up to the sky, then back down to the camera.]
Jack Diamond: Good dogs, you see, when you are the true alpha, it doesn’t matter who the outsider is, they all bow down eventually to you. These wolves now know to respect me. Just like this Sunday, another wolf will bow down and learn to respect me. Ari, you are going to have a long night in the Xcel Energy Arena. I am going to enter your pen on Sunday night and like these pups, you are going to be in awe of The Ace of Spades. You are going to kneel before me. The difference, though, I’m not going to show you the respect I show these wolves. I know they could tear me apart right now if they wanted to. With a look, I let them know I am superior to them, but also that I respect them. No, Ari, it won’t be the same Sunday night. I am going to beat you all over my ring. I am going to leave you lying, a bloody mess as all you will be able to do is watch me set the ladder over your lifeless body, climb up and take my contract which guarantees me a shot at the Shooting Star Title.
[Jack starts petting the wolves, as zoo patrons are now gathering along the fence, some amazed at what they are witnessing, some scared and nervous for Jack’s health. While some are recording the scene with their phones, others are on them describing what they are seeing, and others are calling for 911 and zoo officials, whatever numbers they can find.]
Jack Diamond: Fear not, great people of St. Paul. You are looking at the true Alpha, live and in person. The wolf whisperer, if you will. Jack Diamond tames all those around him as they bow down to his greatness. Come see me this Sunday as I make one more “big bad wolf” bow down to my greatness. Ari, you days are numbered. I gave you your first and second loss here in ICW and this Sunday I will give you your fourth loss, and hopefully you make it long enough in the rumble match so that I can give you your fifth loss, because if you are even able to make it to the rumble after our ladder match, I fully intend to throw your creepy ass out of my ring once and for all on my way to claiming MY World Title. You can bet on that!
[Jack stands up and walks back over to the fence, as the wolves follow. As he climbs back over they all put their head down, almost in sadness as their “leader” leaves them behind. They tuck their tails and go off behind some rocks. Jack walks off down the path towards the Wolf Lot at the zoo where he is parked. As the camera follows he continues talking.]
Jack Diamond: When Gold Rush is over, Jack Diamond will be the true alpha of the ICW. I will have a guaranteed match for the Shooting Star title, and I will be YOUR ICW World Champion. What a great night it will---
[As Jack comes up on his rental car, there are 3 St. Paul Police cars surrounding his car, blue lights flashing. As he walks up, 2 officers, guns drawn walk up on Diamond. A third comes around from the other side of Jack’s vehicle.]
Officer: Jack Diamond?
Jack Diamond: Yes sir, what is this?
Officer: Mr. Diamond, you are under arrest for the destruction of public property, arson, and for breaking and entering in the Stargate Bar and Night club. You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney, if you can not afford one the city of St. Paul will provide you with a public defender. Do you understand your rights as they have been given?
Jack Diamond: Can’t afford one? I am Jack Diamond! ICW Superstar! Do you guys have any idea of the mistake you are making?
[As the officer ignores Jack’s arrogant remarks, he cuffs The Ace of Spades and leads him to the back of one of the patrol cars. Jack turns his head towards the camera man as the officer is opening the door.]
Jack Diamond: Call my lawyer, this is a misunderstanding. I need to make sure this is all resolved before Sunday night so that I can win my Gold!
[Jack is placed in the car and the other officers clear. As the squad car drives off with our favorite superstar in the back, the scene comes to an end. Will Jack be out in time for Gold Rush? What happens to his match if he is not out before then? Stay tuned as we hope to know more about the legal problems of Jack Diamond before Sunday!]
