[The scene opens on an overcast afternoon in Evansville, Indiana on the lawn of the Riverfront Park, just in front of the Tropicana Evansville Casino. The casino is located inside a huge riverboat that sets on the Ohio River. Gathered around the lawn are hundreds, if not thousands of excited casino patrons, Evansville residents and visitors, and Jack Diamond fans. To the left of the sidewalk, a huge stage is set up with big projector screen. The screen cuts to black screen with a red spade in each corner, with the words “The following video is brought to you by the Diamond Club.” As the fans pile around, the video highlights start.]
[In the first clip, we see highlights from the fatal four way match on the May 22nd edition of Monday Night Spectacle. Jericho Kade is onn the apron, tossing a bag over Brett Stetson’s head to a waiting Jack Diamond. We see Diamond pouring the shimmering thumbtacks all over the ring. Then the video cuts to Kade being powerbombed on the tacks by Stetson. Next we see Kade grabbing the arm of Jake Venom right before he taps out from Aces Wild, followed by Kade DDTing Diamond head first into the tacks. The crowd starts to boo as the highlight package then cuts to Jack Diamond once again getting ready to submit one of the opponents to Aces Wild before Kade blasts Diamond with a steel chair and ends up putting the hurt opponent in his own submission move and getting the tap, thus winning the Shooting Star number one contendership.]
[The booing gets louder as the next highlight is Kade’s triple threat cage match at Gold Rush on May 28th. We see Kade making the final climb after Vadyl’s interference, followed by Kade holding his newly won Shooting Star title in the air before being low blowed by Lucas Reiter. The crowd laughs at this.]
[Next, the crowd pops huge as video highlights of Jack Diamond show on the screen, from the same Gold Rush pay-per-view. Diamond, in a vicious ladder match with Ari Next, followed by Diamond connecting with an amazing Shuffled Deck from twenty feet high. We then see Diamond back atop the ladder, grabbing the briefcase with his Shooting Star contract, and signing it ringside for the general manager. The crowd begins chanting.]
Crowd: DIAMOND! DIAMOND! DIAMOND!
[The screen turns a golden hue as we now see highlights from the Gold Rush rumble. We see Kade getting tossed over the top ropes by Stetson, but barely staying in the match by hopping on one foot. We see Diamond enter the match, then cuts to Kade hitting Diamond with a flying knee and mocking him by holding up his hands in a diamond shape. We next see Kade running his mouth, taunting the fans, and motioning to the crowd from the middle turnbuckle that he will win the title. Out of the corner, Diamond runs over and pushes Kade off and over the ropes to eliminate his World Title hopes. The crowd is cheering madly as the last image seen is Jack Diamond, hands raised in victory as he stands on the middle rope with his World Title strapped around his waist. As the screen fades to black, “Ace of Spades” by Motorhead plays and pyro explodes all around the stage.]
Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the ICW World Champion! “THE ACE OF SPADES!” JACK DIAMOND!!!!!
[The crowd erupts into a deafening roar of cheers as more pyro explodes all around. Diamond enters from behind the stage, decked out in one of his high dollar, Armani suits. In one hand, his world title and the other a t-shirt cannon. He lays his title on the podium, walks to the front of the stage and fires the cannon into the crowd several times, as the massive crowd jumps and reaches for their chance at grabbing a “Diamond Club” shirt. As he sets the cannon down, he walks over to the podium to address the crowd.]
Jack Diamond: Amazing people of Evansville!!! Your champ HAS arrived!
[More massive cheers from all those in attendance to this event. Diamond looks out across the sea of people and flashes a huge smile before continuing.]
Jack Diamond: And as you can see, I am here alone. No agent. Unlike my opponent this Monday, Jericho Kade, I don’t have to have a babysitter pulling all the strings for me, lining up parties for me to stroke my ego so that I THINK I am the best. No, not Jack, because quite simply, I KNOW I am the best. When Jack Diamond’s name shows up on any marquee in the world, the hundreds, no, the thousands, no no no, the MILLIONS of Diamond Club members will flock to see their champion! Thank you!
[Diamond chants breaks out throughout the crowd once again, they absolutely love this guy. He has a nice laugh and motions back to the screen behind him.]
Jack Diamond: Now, I hope you all enjoyed seeing the highlights of mine and Kade’s ICW career up to this point. Since day one, we have been connected in some way, whether it was making our debuts on the same night, or being in a fatal four way match for a chance at the shooting star title, to him winning the belt, me winning a shot at the belt, and me winning the World title.
[Diamond holds up his belt to the crowd, the roar reverberating off of every building in the nearby vicinity as the lights from the stage dance of the gold.]
Jack Diamond: You see Kade, what some people don’t realize, is we both have a four and two record. Yes, one of my losses came in a match that you won, that is true, however you didn’t beat me. You waited, like the snake you are, until I inflicted enough damage on one of the other men in the fatal four way, then you swooped in, took a cheap shot on me, and STOLE my victory. My other loss, well it came in the Ironman title match against Steele, a match that I almost won, without the help of Vadyl, which is the ONLY way you won your cage match for that title you think so highly of.
[The crowd begins to boo a bit at the mention of Jericho Kade. They clearly believe that Jack Diamond should have been the one in the triple threat cage match at Gold Rush instead of in the ladder match against Ari Naxt.]
Jack Diamond: One of your losses though? Well, that came directly by the hand of The Ace of Spades! That’s right! Gold Rush Rumble! I threw your ass over the top ropes and went on to become the very FIRST ICW World Champion! And what about that nice string of victories you have Kade? Well, one was riding Bobby Barratt’s coat tails in a tag match, one was stealing a victory away from me after I did all the work, one was a triple threat cage match after Vadyl interefered, and the other, your ONLY one on one match, against Aaron Acheston, well you should have been DQ’ed after the actions of you and Barratt during that match. So enjoy that great “record” of yours, we all know you are nothing more than a paper champion whose days of holding that Shooting Star belt are numbered.
[The crowd cheers again and begins chanting “PAPER CHAMP” over and over and Jack can’t help but to laugh again as they are eating up everything he says.]
Jack Diamond: Look at my four wins Kade, a one on one match with Ari, one of the craziest, sadistic guys on this roster, then I destroyed him in a ladder match, much like I will do to you this Monday, then I beat your B.F.F, Barratt, again one on one and ended his dreams of fighting for my World Title, also like I will do to you Monday night. For my fourth victory, I outlasted nine of the so called best of the best, to win the Rumble match and become champ. Now, that is a resume befitting a King, befitting a champion, and that is exactly what Jack Diamond is! This Monday night Kade, I will show you why I am the face of this company, why I am the World Champion, and why I will be known as Mr. Ladder Match when I climb rung by run and snatch MY second title here in ICW. That, you can bet on!
[The crowd goes absolutely wild as Diamond throws up his patented diamond symbol, tosses his championship belt over his shoulder and heads out through the crowd, motioning the masses to follow him to the Riverboat casino so that they can continue the party. A true party, not one that some agent paid people to attend to stroke an ego, but one people actually want to attend. The scene fades to a close.]
