We have some news following the last few months of Sakura Shoujo Stampede. FEM member Bodhi suffered an injury during her match at Perpetual Sorrow a few months back. We're not sure the extent of this injury but will be sure to keep you posted when we get more information on her condition. Also her fellow stablemates in FEM, Kazia-X and Katie Boom Boom were last seen brawling with Abnormalize members at our last venue before being separated.
It's now learned that they too were injured in the scuffle with Kazia-X suffering at least a few lacerations to her face and arms. Some fans can be noted to seeing her limp to an ambulance but not much is known about that being true or not. As for Katie Boom Boom she was last seen following her partner and was also slightly injured and beat up from the scuffle. As far as the Abnormalize girls they were beat up a little bit but they're injuries were stated by Kuroi Yami as "Fine". They are noted as competing with Kuroi in a tag team match at the latest rendition of Sakura Genesis though.
More news about an older member of our roster. Cici Dupree is noted from reliable sources as in a much better state then a few months back. For those who don't remember she injured her spine and, with more info shedding light, her neck areas in a freak accident at SSS's Winter Festival 2017. She's still in an undisclosed hospital but is said to be recovering. Although still not able to walk she can lift her arms and has gained much more mobility then expected for someone in her condition. That's all on her we have.
Some may also have noticed young upstart and rookie Cherry Miyawaki hasn't been booked for a while. That's because she was injured at a house show a few months back as well as her trying to focus more on her schooling. She's said to be recovering from her injuries but to be on an indefinite hiatus as of now. She was quoted as saying "I'd like to focus more on school right now. My family and friends think this is a good idea too." Some of our sources have said she may be trying to get into college after graduating from high school but we aren't sure. We at SSS do wish her the best of luck in her education though.
Another bit of news coming to us now. It's been rumored Azumi Goto may be leaving SSS. We're not quite sure if these rumors are true or if they're just mere speculation but if they are true we'd like to send our heartfelt well wishes to Goto-san.
Our final piece of news comes from our General Manager Yuuko Koizumi. She's been noted that she will give us details at the latest Saturday Sakura Genesis on a new tournament in the works. It's been said by the official SSS Twitter account to be called the Mach 20. many participants are assumed to be the SSS roster but some rumors have gone around that GM Koizumi may be looking for independent talent to join in the tournament.
