Generally I use Photoshop but ever since Windows screwed the pooch with my mobo drivers and keeps randomly shutting off all my USB ports (thanks, Windows) I've been experimenting with GIMP.
What do others dabbling in the mystic arts of... art use?

It's called pooling our efforts With our powers combined we are... CAPTAIN E-FED! GIMP confuses me because I know where everything is in PS, so everything's in the wrong place. But it works, it's free and it doesn't just run on Linux, it comes pre installed in most distros. And it's capable of splicing together Finn Balor wearing a t-shirt but no jacket and Finn Balor wearing a jacket but no T-shirt.

I normally use Photoshop, but I have been trying to learn a few 3D programs to sort of expand things. My computer seems to not want me to and keeps crashing...saying not enough ram. Stupid thing.

My computer is getting worse at running stuff too Vastrix; it's like it can't walk and chew gum any more- but some days is fine

You can get CC 2015 and CS6 working as well as long as you’re capable of following some simple instructions

I learned how to use photoshop so I'm set in my ways. Swann left us a few graphic templates in gimp format, so we have to use it for those, but I've learned how to do the bits I need to. Being limited for time, it just doesn't feel productive to learn to use gimp when I can do what I need to in Adobe in half the time.
